We got squirreled, we were heading to a different place to grab a bite and decided to stop at Ana's. Glad we did. The staff was so friendly and checked on us several times. The girls loved their cocktails served in fabulous tiki like vessels. The food was difficult to choose from. Finally two of us decided to split the Tex Mex Tacos. Perfect decision. Four good sized cheese crusted hard shell tacos with your choice of meats. We did two asada and two pastor. The pastor were my favorite. My friend ordered and shared the nachos, another huge plate of food to share. Plenty of fresh crisp tortilla chips smothered in creamy warm queso, sprinkled with fresh diced tomatoes, sliced jalapeños, dollops of sour cream and fresh guacamole. Mmmm. Their reputation is well known as it was pretty full the entire time we were there. Next visit we want better weather- on the west side of the building is a fabulous large patio. The perfect spot to lounge, nibble and sip all afternoon. Street parking for sure. Not sure if there is a nearby small lot. Definitely deserves more visits to try every menu item.

Ana's Tacos absolutely delivered! I ordered the street tacos, and they were everything I was hoping for fresh, flavorful, and packed with perfectly seasoned meat. The tortillas were soft, the toppings were fresh, and every bite hit the spot. Simple food done really well. The service was superb if it's nice out sit out side it gets loud inside but If you're craving authentic street tacos, this is definitely a place worth stopping by. I'll be back to try more of the menu!

Hadn't visited Ana's Taco Grill in awhile and the weather was perfect for lunch on their patio. Warm, no breeze. Like visiting an old friend and dining in their backyard.. only better. Wait staff are very friendly and ready to serve. Best yet was Ana's delicious tacos. My son had the ribeye and shrimp tacos on a homemade corn tortilla. So delicious! I had my usual carnitas and carne asada tacos with a delicious horchata. We started off with an elite appetizer. Just entering this review makes me look forward to return for more!

This place is incredible! Best tacos this side of the Pecos River. We had the street tacos platter. It comes with 6 tacos. We got Carne Asada and Carnitas. We got a side of chips with Pico de Gallo. They offer 3 salsas. The fresh corn masa is freshly ground everyday. Yellow corn gives it tons of flavor. The flavor of the Carnitas and the Beef was delicious. Absolutely life changing good. Service is excellent and sitting outside on the patio under umbrellas with Latin music can't be beat. The tequila drinks looked divine. Definitely a destination.

Anna's Taco & Grill in Reno is excellent. The birria tacos are the best I've had -- they came with a rich consomé that was perfect for dipping. The tacos were very flavorful and very filling. My friend ordered the carne asada burrito and it was amazing, packed with lots of meat and great flavor. We also shared chips with guacamole, which were fresh and really good. For drinks I had an agua fresca de limón and my friend had a Mexican Coke -- both hit the spot. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were very friendly. Definitely a place I would come back to when in Reno.

Date spot for lunch alert! Split a plate of six tacos (which can easily stretch to 10-12 if you want) with a friend. They have many meats to choose from and sides of guacamole or queso if you want too. I have to say it's a mood lifter to eat here. Staff is friendly and spirits are high! In warmer months they have the patio seating too which is cozy. Food is fast but fresh, always. Notes: water is only offered in plastic bottles so bring your own if you can.

10/10 across the board -- food, drinks, and atmosphere were all on point. The birria tacos were and easily the highlight. The staff was incredibly friendly and made the whole experience even better. Honestly shocked there wasn't a line out the door -- this place deserves it. Coming from Vegas, we don't say that lightly. The cucumber jalapeño margarita? So refreshing with the perfect kick. We'll definitely be back.

We've been wanting to check out Ana's Taco Grill for a while and finally had a chance to go. We are so happy we finally made it in! We had the hardest time trying to decide what to order because so many things on the menu sounded good. We went with margaritas and street tacos. The margaritas were delicious, the tacos were outstanding, and the service was good. For such a small restaurant, we were lucky to be able to find a table quickly and easily. People mention the prices are high, and we paid more than normal for lunch, but we had plenty of leftovers to take home. We definitely will be back to try other things on the menu.

Yeah this place is pretty great. :) We usually come here with friends and family in tow and sit at one of the big tables. Def a li'l less Mexhole-in-wall and more hipster, but the food slaps and you pay for it being in Midtown. (Still very reasonably priced for lotsa food.) Every time we order 4-6 different types of tacos and everything's hit great. :) I think the al pastor, asada, guac, and birria were all great... I actually can't think of anything that's bad.

The Al pastor shrimp tacos are amazing! The flavors are so delicious. I didn't want to order them the first time because $23 for 3 tacos sounded so expensive. The tacos are really filling. I cannot eat all of them by myself. The flavors are worth it to me. I also enjoy getting the mojito with no sugar. They add extra lime and it is so refreshing. I really don't think it needs it. The outdoor seating is nice at the Wonder St Location. The building is fairly small and can be busy and a little loud so I don't choose to sit in there. Service has been good each time that I visited.

Holy Moly! This spot still hits! On a beautiful Saturday morning I was able to come here with some friends to sit outside and enjoy the fantastic day after doing some volunteer work. I chose the Tacos Guadalajara, they were huge! Fresh made corn tortillas piled with grilled carne asada, chorizo, grilled onion, queso fresco, and guacamole. They were bursting with flavor! I had to take the 3rd taco to go and enjoy it later. The service is friendly as always, any questions you may have are answered with a smile.

hello first time here street parking available ordered the street tacos, fish tacos, and a michelada street tacos, you can choose from 2 different meats, a total of 6 tacos for $19 the al pastor tacos were delicious, juicy and flavorful with the pineapple the carne asada was a disappointment, overcooked, dry, and had no flavor, even when lime and salsa was added. the fish tacos were the best, presentation, large, fresh, crispy outside, warm and soft on the inside, and guac helped. really delicious, and highly recommended. michelada was the biggest cup ive seen, super mug, goodluck and enjoy! many other dishes to give a try!

    Katie C.

Stopped in on a Friday night and it was relatively busy. Portions are large me and the hubs could've shared. We got a fan favorite and I can see why, everything was seasoned to perfection including the margaritas. Street parking out front.

This is such a cozy and unique restaurant. Everything we ordered was something I had never tried before. We started with cocktails. They have a big variety of margaritas, beer, and other signature drinks. For our appetizers we ordered the blue corn bread which is served on a mini cast iron skillet. This corn bread is sweet, but also has some spicy chili flavor. We shared the fish ceviche with tuna. It was so fresh and the flavors were out of this world. Tangy, sour, a little spicy. For my main I went with the special for that weekend which was the Sea Bass. So flaky and buttery. It was served on top of a kind of fried rice. Overall great experience here. I would prepare for a 2hr experience so that you can enjoy all meals equally!

The numerous booths were cute, but really too small for four people. there were quite a few larger tables for eight or 10 people. Four four , It's a lot of cozy togetherness, which is probably fine for a family, but not for other circumstances. The halibut entrée was very good. The short ribs were kind of average. The other two guests were mixed in their review of the entrées as well. Our our server was super nice , attentive and knowledgeable - while he was with us - but would disappear for long periods of time such that we had to get up to get their attention several times to get additional items. The restaurant was not particularly crowded, but there was something going on at another nearby table - perhaps a VIP, family friends or owner (?) that attracted a gathering of several servers for long periods of time, so it was hard to get our servers attention. I'd be surprised if that was a common scenario, but it happened while we were there. Ambient noise was fine . Prices were on the higher side for my expectation, but the presentation was very nice. It was pretty good, would probably do 3 1/2 stars if I could, but it definitely isn't equal to the various four stars I've rated locally.

Upon walking in,I was impressed with the patrons, this was a no frills crowd who looked like they were all in on a secret that this place was going to be a really good foodie spot. This is one of those spots where u walk up and order at the counter and they bring your food out to you.I loved the decor as you can really tell the owners are proud of their Jalisco roots. As an added bonus-I do tend to like taquerias that have pics of the menu items on the walls-always been a good luck charm for me that the place would be pretty good. We ordered a few things-A Super Burrito with Al Pastor($13.50)-it was pretty tasty-way way filling-killed my buzz totally-which I guess was the goal-I'd order it again for sure.We Also got a Shrimp taco($5)My wife is from Jalisco,so kinda picky with her Mexican food but she thought it was pretty tasty-one of the most flavorful tacos she has had in a long time.We also got the 2 enchilada plate with ground beef and chicken($15.50)-This dish came with rice and bean-I really liked the rice quite a bit and beans went well with the chips because of the added cheese on the beans. One thing I didn't love was the fact that you had to pay for chips and salsa-I'm sure I'm just spoiled from all the places that gives those out for free but I guess that's the way it goes-pretty sure it was like $3-no biggie. In closing-if u ever find yourself in Reno and u want something other than the commercial stuff they sell in the casinos-I would highly recommend walking across the street from Silver Legacy and walk into this little hole in the wall hidden gem of a restaurant and enjoy yourself a taste of Jalisco -you won't be disappointed.

It tastes remarkably close to what you'd find in Jalisco, which makes it feel genuinely authentic rather than a watered-down version for tourists. We also got tacos dorados de papa and those were pretty amazing too. The micheladas and chavelas are just as impressive.
