The food was fresh, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients. The hand pressed tortillas really stood out and gave the tacos an authentic homemade taste. The meat was tender, well seasoned, and packed with flavor, while the toppings were fresh and complemented everything perfectly. The restaurant had a fun, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff was friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in. The portions were generous for the price, and everything came out hot and quickly. If you're looking for delicious street style tacos and great service, this is a spot I would absolutely recommend. I'll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu.

We got squirreled, we were heading to a different place to grab a bite and decided to stop at Ana's. Glad we did. The staff was so friendly and checked on us several times. The girls loved their cocktails served in fabulous tiki like vessels. The food was difficult to choose from. Finally two of us decided to split the Tex Mex Tacos. Perfect decision. Four good sized cheese crusted hard shell tacos with your choice of meats. We did two asada and two pastor. The pastor were my favorite. My friend ordered and shared the nachos, another huge plate of food to share. Plenty of fresh crisp tortilla chips smothered in creamy warm queso, sprinkled with fresh diced tomatoes, sliced jalapeños, dollops of sour cream and fresh guacamole. Mmmm. Their reputation is well known as it was pretty full the entire time we were there. Next visit we want better weather- on the west side of the building is a fabulous large patio. The perfect spot to lounge, nibble and sip all afternoon. Street parking for sure. Not sure if there is a nearby small lot. Definitely deserves more visits to try every menu item.

We visited the Midtown location and the restaurant itself is super cute. There's much more outdoor seating than indoor seating, and I'd definitely recommend sitting outside. The indoor space is pretty small and can get warm with the kitchen right there. The staff was fantastic! Service was excellent from start to finish. The prices were a little steep, so I came in expecting the food to really wow me. I appreciated that so much is made in-house, including the tortillas and gorditas, but unfortunately the flavors just didn't quite hit the mark for me. The papas were absolutely delicious and probably my favorite thing we ordered. The tacos were also good. The ribeye gordita was a bit dry and the tortilla ended up overpowering the rest of the dish. The chicken flautas were also on the dry side and could have used a little more seasoning and flavor. I found myself reaching for the salsa with every bite. The carne asada had more of an al pastor appearance and different flavor profile than your traditional carne asada. I really wanted to love this place because the atmosphere and service were so great. If the food matched the caliber of the staff, we'd be regulars. The food was plated beautifully, but definitely underwhelming with flavor and texture. Maybe it was just an off day, and I'd be willing to give it another try in the future.

My friends and I had been wanting to try Ana's Taco Grill for a while, so when my birthday landed on Taco Tuesday, it finally felt meant to be. First off, huge shoutout to the staff at both locations. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a group of about 12 showing up and ordering at different times, plus another large party there, and they handled it all really well. The patio has such a great Midtown vibe, and I'm always happy supporting local small businesses. We ordered a little bit of everything: ribeye gorditas with homemade tortillas, street tacos, quesadillas, loaded papas, elote, and I even attempted the AYCE tacos. The carnitas was some of my favorite in town, the guac was delicious, and my friend loved the skirt steak tacos. Plus, the three salsas they serve are all so good. Tacos are always subjective, but I'd absolutely recommend giving Ana's a try because there's something for everyone on the menu. The cocktails are fun too, and I'll definitely be back.

Wow where has this taco grill been all my life! The food was so delicious! Everything we got was so good and packed with flavor. The elote was delicious, the tacos were supper flavorful, nachos were great and I love the side of chilies. I love the outside seating as well. Wonderful service and we will definitely be back!

Such a wonderful night out with friends. On our search for Reno's best taco we hit up Ana's one evening. The moment we walked in I expected someone's grandma to be on the kitchen yelling at the staff to go faster. The staff was very attentive and our food was quicker then I ever imagined and so delicious. Warning ir is small on the inside and a little loud. Next time we will sit outside.

Hadn't visited Ana's Taco Grill in awhile and the weather was perfect for lunch on their patio. Warm, no breeze. Like visiting an old friend and dining in their backyard.. only better. Wait staff are very friendly and ready to serve. Best yet was Ana's delicious tacos. My son had the ribeye and shrimp tacos on a homemade corn tortilla. So delicious! I had my usual carnitas and carne asada tacos with a delicious horchata. We started off with an elite appetizer. Just entering this review makes me look forward to return for more!

    Birria tacos. Soooo goood
    Jorge G.

Anna's Taco & Grill in Reno is excellent. The birria tacos are the best I've had -- they came with a rich consomé that was perfect for dipping. The tacos were very flavorful and very filling. My friend ordered the carne asada burrito and it was amazing, packed with lots of meat and great flavor. We also shared chips with guacamole, which were fresh and really good. For drinks I had an agua fresca de limón and my friend had a Mexican Coke -- both hit the spot. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were very friendly. Definitely a place I would come back to when in Reno.

Date spot for lunch alert! Split a plate of six tacos (which can easily stretch to 10-12 if you want) with a friend. They have many meats to choose from and sides of guacamole or queso if you want too. I have to say it's a mood lifter to eat here. Staff is friendly and spirits are high! In warmer months they have the patio seating too which is cozy. Food is fast but fresh, always. Notes: water is only offered in plastic bottles so bring your own if you can.

Street Tacos Carnitas and Carne Asada

This place is incredible! Best tacos this side of the Pecos River. We had the street tacos platter. It comes with 6 tacos. We got Carne Asada and Carnitas. We got a side of chips with Pico de Gallo. They offer 3 salsas. The fresh corn masa is freshly ground everyday. Yellow corn gives it tons of flavor. The flavor of the Carnitas and the Beef was delicious. Absolutely life changing good. Service is excellent and sitting outside on the patio under umbrellas with Latin music can't be beat. The tequila drinks looked divine. Definitely a destination.

Yeah this place is pretty great. :) We usually come here with friends and family in tow and sit at one of the big tables. Def a li'l less Mexhole-in-wall and more hipster, but the food slaps and you pay for it being in Midtown. (Still very reasonably priced for lotsa food.) Every time we order 4-6 different types of tacos and everything's hit great. :) I think the al pastor, asada, guac, and birria were all great... I actually can't think of anything that's bad.

    Gina E.

10/10 across the board -- food, drinks, and atmosphere were all on point. The birria tacos were and easily the highlight. The staff was incredibly friendly and made the whole experience even better. Honestly shocked there wasn't a line out the door -- this place deserves it. Coming from Vegas, we don't say that lightly. The cucumber jalapeño margarita? So refreshing with the perfect kick. We'll definitely be back.

We've been wanting to check out Ana's Taco Grill for a while and finally had a chance to go. We are so happy we finally made it in! We had the hardest time trying to decide what to order because so many things on the menu sounded good. We went with margaritas and street tacos. The margaritas were delicious, the tacos were outstanding, and the service was good. For such a small restaurant, we were lucky to be able to find a table quickly and easily. People mention the prices are high, and we paid more than normal for lunch, but we had plenty of leftovers to take home. We definitely will be back to try other things on the menu.

I was glad that I did finally drop in. Located in a little strip mall on Valley Road, it's an unassuming place from the outside. The inside is small, but comfortable and it felt very "homey". When I walked in, the first thing that hit me was the smell of delicious food wafting through the air. The tastes did not disappoint. We were greeted and sat promptly by a personable young man that brought us water. The owner then brought us our drinks...a margarita for my dining companion and a Mandarin Jarritos for me. My sip of the margarita tasted amazing! Great balance and flavor. We also received a basket of chips and salsa. You could tell that they were made fresh to order. The chips were crispy and hot. The salsa was outstanding...fresh cilantro...balanced combination of flavors with a nice, subtle kick of spiciness at the back end. Not too spicy...just right. I usually have to ask for something hotter...not in this case. The food was amazing! My dining companion ordered the Chile Relleno plate and I got the Molcajete. The prices are outstanding and the amount of food? Huge plates! My Molcajete was sizzling hot and overflowing with chicken, beef, shrimp, nopales and ground beef mixed with veggies. A large plate of refried beans and spanish rice also accompanied this presentation. Fresh, hot, delicious corn tortillas rounded out each of our orders. We were also given a couple of squeeze bottles of sauces...green and red...to add to our meals if we wanted. Freshly made and the bottles were presented in a plastic tub filled with ice to keep them cold. Great addition to the already amazing food! There's also a nice selection of Mexican hot sauces on the table for you to choose from. We both took to-go boxes...so much food! Mine lasted for 2 more meals! I plan to return on a regular basis...this is now one of my favorite local places for great Mexican food. As always, I suggest that you visit to see what YOU think...
