********(UPDATE 7/20/26)*************** Dear Managment or Owner, I am writing to share some feedback regarding our recent experience at your restaurant. Unfortunately, we noticed a significant decline in both value and service compared to our previous visits. The prices have recently increased. Regular steak and chicken tacos have gone from $3.99 to $4.75 each, specialty tacos are even higher, and a large horchata is now $7.99. Other established locations in the area charge between $4.99 and $6.99 for similar drinks while offering a better overall experience. The price increase would be more acceptable if the service had not deteriorated. During our visit, a requested cup of water was never delivered but requested twice, and our party's meals did not arrive together. It took over 25 minutes for our tacos to be served, and the single specialty item ordered, the pozole, arrived last. Additionally, the atmosphere was uncomfortable, as the floor manager or owner walked around looking upset without smiling clearing tables and walking through what few tables of which only three groups of tables plus us were present. No ther patrons were here like previously on a sunday afternoon between 12pm and 3pm. This location used to provide a five-star experience, but it has unfortunately fallen to a three-star level. Although we paid and tipped in full, the lack of service and loss of momentum mean that our family will prefer other restaurant locations moving forward as over all we had to ask for our check twice after waiting an addtional 20 minutes to get the bill alone once we got the attention of aomeone followed by an addtional wait. Over all this the time from or to table to leave was way extended then needed by over an hour we just kept talking and enjoyed the time together but we came to eat not just sit to talk for over an hour waiting for drinks and tacos meat in a tortia ! You have te be better, quicker, and have the atmosphere and enviorment better then a fast food location and taco truck to be worth sitting down in this location does not qualify for that rating its now considered Mi level food with a long wait. Service was very attentive and friendly. Food was good. Ambiance is casual, relaxed. Our server had ok English but we struggled a bit to get clear communication, and it was overall okay. Beautiful plates of food. The generous selection of sauces that came with the chips was a surprise, and I loved getting the cucumber slices with it. read more

Not only is the food delicious, but it's served on beautiful dishware. I also loved the variety of salsas they brought out immediately. The server was super friendly as well! The horchata was really good. Maybe more cinnamon-y or spicy than I've had before. The chicken fajitas were also good. There was red, green, yellow, and orange bell peppers and everything was super fresh. I'll definitely be back again to try more things on the menu! read more

Man what an amazing accidental find..this spot was really good. We came here party of four for a late lunch on a Saturday. The chips and salsa was ok...but I liked the condiment round they provided...it came with 3 sauces. Spicy, green and mild mango with pickled onions and cucumbers. I got the mixed meat fajitas...super good The corn tortillas tasted freshly made. My husband got the Cubano torta...baaaby that sandwich was HUGE! The carne asada taco was amazing and the burrito was filled to the brim and good...a grown man could only eat half. We also ordered a mango margarita...super delicious with the right amount of sweetness. Their water cups were authentic Mexican pottery. Service was top tier...our waitress was middle aged..maybe wife of owner...not sure but she was amazing. I'll definitely be back. read more

I spotted this fairly new taco joint while driving and decided to try it out for my birthday meal. What we ate: Steak Fajitas Verde Chicken Tamale Al Pastor taco Blueberry margarita side of rice & beans chips & salsa were brought for the table, which four different types of salsa Everything was fantastic! Serving portions were really generous and I really enjoyed trying all the different types of salsas. Most places don't have something like that and it was a nice touch. I stopped here after a really bad day at work for some dinner. My server was Dayana and she was amazing! So kind as I was dining by myself. She recommended a few things on the menu. I ordered a drink made with Kailua, and baileys and it was fantastic! I ordered chicken & shrimp fajitas and they were great! Service was on par and they were playing 80's music! My wife and I visited Taqueria Los Patrones on Friday for a late lunch while we were running errands in Greenwood. The server was very welcoming and attentive and the food was amazing! My wife ordered the chicken fajita and I ordered tacos supreme with steak. While we waited, our server brought up chips and salsa along with some additional salsas and toppings we could add to our meal. The mango salsa was very nice, but my favorite was the spicy salsa, which had a savory, smoky flavor and a nice bit of heat at the end. The food itself was perfectly made with very generous portion sizes. We both ended up taking home leftovers. Highly recommend checking out Taqueria Los Patrones for well-made, local Mexican food that's not from a chain restaurant. read more

Yum!!! So, my friend and I had been hearing about this little place. It's more of a authentic Mexican! The fried steak tacos and Birra tacos were Amazing!!! We would have liked warm chips but, the margaritas made up for that. My fresh watermelon marg was delicious! And our service was impeccable! Highly recommend trying this hidden gem out!! Don't let the simplicity of the menu fool you. The food is wonderful, and as soon as it comes to the table, it's a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. Regardless of what you order, the table is set with chips, salsa, limes, cucumber, pickled onions, and a trio of sauces--a cool avocado, a mango jalapeño, and a spicy habanero. The torta cubana is delicious and humongous! You will definitely have leftovers. The price is very reasonable, and we'll definitely visit again! read more

Weather was beautiful and we were hungry. We arrived and was immediately seated. Our server was excellent, she was very knowledgeable about all the food. She shared the story of the restaurant and a little on how they started, very nice lady! There was alot of food for the price and it was very good we all walked out bellys first. Great spot on the south side! The food was fresh, flavorful, and authentic--exactly what you want from a good taqueria. The portions were solid for the price, and everything came out hot and fast. This place was a delight! All the food is served in beautiful pottery! Before we ordered we were served chips and salsa and the came a beautiful tray with an array of sauces and things like onions, limes and cucumbers to top our food with. The service was excellent and I really enjoyed the Hawaiian tacos I ordered. My husband ordered a torta and ate the whole thing he liked it so much! For dessert we ordered churros that came in the cutest little cart. The churros had jelly inside and came with a chocolate sauce and strawberry sorbet for dipping. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and highly recommend this place to others! read more

Sadly left disappointed! The food was mid and the service was bad. It's seat ourself, but the tables weren't clean. So they nicely clean the table for us. Then brought our menus 5 minutes later. We waited 15+ minutes until the server showed up with the tray of dips and salsa. She took our drink order then it took another 10+ plus minutes on the drinks we got our cheese dip before our drinks. The food also took awhile. The problem looked like our waitress was in charge of doing stuff in the kitchen as well. I think maybe making the dip trays. The other waiter and waitresses are in charge of bussing their own tables. The food was soooo bland. The salsa was gross but the cheese dip was shockingly good. 10/10 wouldn't recommend read more

The food here is delicious. The server struggled with English, but we still were satisfied with it. I will go back in the future for sure.

First visit, will be going back. The server was friendly, attentive, and efficient. They have a diverse menu with reasonable prices. The salsa and chips are as good as any other restaurant. The relish/salsa tray included with the meal is very good. The portions will likely mean a second meal at home. I recommend the Alambre Hawaiano. read more

We can here for the first time and the overall experience wasn't too good. I ordered the Carne Asada plate and my husband ordered a Cane Asada Torta. The Torta completely fell apart as soon as he picked it up because the meat was diced very small and the bread was too thin. The Carne Asada plate was very disappointing. The side of Chorizo that was included was full of large Onion pieces and basically no Chorizo at all. The meat was very rubbery and basically full of fat. I could barely break it apart. It was awful, to say the least. And the flour tortillas were completely raw and warmed in a microwave. The only thing that was pretty decent were the Platanos, but they were a little well done. My husband asked for a refill on his water and never got it. He ended up having to go to the counter to go ask for it. The music is loud, which makes it hard to have a conversation. The Carne Asada Dinner was $18 for basically meat that was hard and not chewable. I've ordered this multiple times at other locations and it's usually very soft and tender. read more

Lotsa extra stuff and nice workers. Tacos are big and lotsa extra toppings! But the meat quality is not so good. Taco bell level maybe. But best for the money on the Southside! Cant find it on Google maps and use Taqueria as the search word. read more
