    Excellent tacos and burritos!!!

We came in from Mission Texas which in Deep South Texas and it is known for good Mexican tacos since the border is very close. Everytime we travel, we look for good Mexican food which is hard to find. We were in the mood for some good tacos and tried this place since the reviews looked good. We were very hesitant and didn't know what to expect. My wife and I went in and were immediately greeted and asked for our order. Ordered carne asada tacos, carne asada burrito and carne asada quesadilla. We were very satisfied and wish we had found this place 4 days ago when we first arrived. Strongly recommend this place to anyone looking to find good Mexican tacos and more.

-Service was great -Food was decent by dry. Dry asada, dry beans, even salsa couldn't save the dryness. Walk up to counter and they make huge burritos/ tacos for you there. Will come back as we liked it, just dry this time. Monday special- Buy a burrito, get free fountain drink. Tuesday/ Wednesday- Tacos discounted, can't remember price.

Comida "Mierda" Horrible cooks, I ordered cabeza tacos and the meat was old, black and tough. Showed it to the cooks and got mocked, they stated "Sir this is how cabeza tacos look, I respond with "Bull ****" this is horrible and you shouldn't be selling it. Scores: Rice 2/5 Beans 3/5 decent Asada 2/5 not good Cabeza 1/5 inedible*** Pastor 2/5 recooked mess Will never go back to this place.

yum i got the chorizo burrito with rice, beans, cilantro, and cheese and it was really good. need to try the tacos next time. only taking a star off because the beans were just pinto beans and not refried beans. but it was still really good. not super busy inside and the order was ready pretty quickly after ordering.

Craving tacos since the weekend so we came in for a quick lunch. Selection was your standard options. Service was a bit off. I mean you walk up say how many tacos and then what kind. The cashier today was a little distracted and not the most engaging. The tacos were Ok. Meat was a bit dry. Not dried out jerky, but not juicy goodness. Place was clean and and there was plenty of seating. Tenía deseos de comer tacos. Decidimos venir a Taqueria Mexico. Ordenamos tacos de chorizo, carnitas, asada, y buche. La carne estaba seca, pero no fue terrible. Espera,os que la siguiente visita sea mejor.

We were craving some mexican food and stumbled on this place. Delighted to say this was one of the best place we've ever tried (HIGH compliment from a SD/TJ local who has plenty access to BOMB tacos )! What we ordered: - build your own-ish burrito: i got the BUCHE meats, rice and beans. It was fire! The buche was well seasoned, not too salty or too overcooked! The rice and beans were good too! I did wish they gave us a bigger portion to fill up the burrito & gave lime instead of lemon but I'll take what I can get! 5/5 Service & Atmosphere: - Service: they're friendly and helpful! It was super quick, we went in and out in less than 15 minutes. - Atmosphere: the place is huge, there's plenty of seatings. I love all the decoration and art on the wall! Overall, I can't recommend this place enough! I still dream about it. A good taco/burrito depends on the meats and its seasoning and they mastered it! I will be coming back! 10/10

The space was so aesthetically pleasing and incredibly vibey -- very Instagram-worthy without feeling overdone. The décor had gorgeous details everywhere, with greenery and hanging elements from the ceiling, warm lighting, and a layout that felt open and roomy while still cozy. You could tell a lot of love and effort went into designing the place. The food was delicious, the music was great, and the overall atmosphere made it such a nice spot to relax, hang out, and take it all in. It was one of those places where everything just worked -- the lighting, the vibe, the energy. We recently drove by and saw that it has closed permanently, which honestly made me really sad. It felt like they truly tried to create something special for the community, and it showed in the details. Grateful we got to experience it while it was open. Even though the restaurant is small and busy, we were seated right away, which was a great start. Our waiter Washington, was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and made our whole experience even better. The atmosphere was perfect too. They had music playing at just the right volume and a big TV showing the live Dodger game, which the kids loved. We started with chips and salsa. The salsa had the perfect level of spice for everyone at the table. The kids ordered horchatas and were excited about the unlimited refills (something you don't always see at other restaurants!). The drinks for the adults were just as impressive. My wife's watermelon margarita on the rocks was perfectly made. It was not overly sweet or syrupy like at some places. Our friends had the "El Jefe" margaritas, and they definitely didn't skimp on the tequila! For dinner, everything was a hit. The kids loved their meals. Albóndigas soup, shrimp tacos, and street tacos--all served with rice and beans. The adult dishes were just as good. The carne asada arrachera was cooked perfectly, the chile verde was full of flavor, and my chicken mole was delicious with a great balance of spicy and sweet without being overwhelming. The portions were very generous, and everything came with rice, beans, and both corn and flour tortillas. The only small thing I would've preferred differently was the chicken in my mole. I personally would've liked a leg and thigh instead of sliced chicken breast but the dish was still very good overall. What really stood out was the hospitality. At the end of the meal, Washington offered us "holy water"-house tequila shots on the house--and it wasn't cheap tequila either! Then after the bill came, he surprised us again with another round of "holy water". That level of generosity and care really impressed us. We also learned that the restaurant has been there 20+ years and is family-run by him and his siblings, which made the experience feel even more personal. You can tell they have a loyal customer base--one couple even said, "See you tomorrow Washington!" The only feedback we'd offer (coming from a customer service background) is that we noticed a few guests waiting at the entrance without being greeted, and one couple actually left the restaurant. A simple "Welcome, we'll be right with you" would go a long way. That said, it didn't take away from our experience. Overall, amazing food, great service, generous portions, and a welcoming family atmosphere. We will definitely be back to try more of their menu!

(See attached picture). This restaurant is in such an obscure location, I can't believe I was going to a Burrito Track across the street for so many years not knowing this place existed. Friendly staff and prompt service. The unfortunate negative is it's location and I'm referring to parking. There must be 8 business crammed into this lot. With a bar to the right and a laudermat on its left finding a parking spot is like winning the lotto. Now layer in one driveway and you have to make a 3 point turn just to navigate to leave. The short answer is I will absolutely go back to this place as long as there is a parking space to be had.

The idea was to enjoy my coffee while getting organized--paying bills, planning calendar events, and having the opportunity to focus without any distractions from my usual surroundings. In search of the perfect spot, I turned to Yelp, a reliable resource for uncovering hidden gems nearby. Upon stepping into the coffee shop, I was immediately greeted with warm hospitality, setting the tone for a delightful experience. The ambiance of the place was truly captivating--it was bright and welcoming, infused with an aesthetic charm that instantly put me at ease. I couldn't help but be intrigued by the design elements throughout the shop, which added an inviting touch to its overall atmosphere. Before I settled in, I asked the staff if I could snap a few photos to capture the essence of this delightful space. They graciously welcomed my request, and I was shown to my table, which, quite uniquely, was designated by a number--a small detail that I found charming. As I browsed the menu, I encountered a small conundrum: I wasn't entirely sure what to order. I wanted to break the mold and try something out of the ordinary. My curiosity was piqued by their exclusive offering of Café de la Olla--a traditional hot drink that piqued my interest right away. I ultimately settled on a hearty plate that included rice, beans, and enticing potato tostones, accompanied by two beautifully cooked sunny-side-up eggs. As I waited for my order, I noticed the café was filled with the sweet sounds of old-school music from the '60s and '70s, which only enhanced the cozy ambiance while I sipped my drink. Now, let's talk about the food! I must say, I rated the café itself a solid 4 out of 5 for its overall charm, while the rice earned a respectable 4 out of 5. The beans were rich in flavor and received a fair 3.9 out of 5. The potato tostones, delicately bathed in a savory red sauce, stood out with an impressive score of 4.3 out of 5--these are a must-try if you visit! And as for the sunny-side-up eggs, they were good, but hey, eggs are eggs, right? Overall, the entire experience was quite enjoyable, from the delightful food to the warm atmosphere. A special shout-out goes to Ana, whose exceptional customer service made my visit even more memorable. The combination of fantastic service, inviting aesthetics, and satisfying food truly made for a perfect morning retreat. I can't recommend this spot enough for anyone looking for a relaxing place to unwind and focus on what matters.
