Great for when I'm craving tacos! They're open late too which is a plus! You let them know how many of everything you're getting (i.e. 4 tacos, 2 burritos, etc). Then they ask which meats, cilantro and/or onion, and which sauce. They also give you lemons/limes and pickled carrots, onions, peppers. Keep in mind, it's like street tacos so the size is small like the ones you'd get at taco trucks in LA. Menudo on weekends only, burrito special on Mondays, and $1.89 tacos on Tuesdays AND Wednesdays! It saddens me that the price for Taco Tues and Wed has gone up since the first time I started coming here (used to be 97 cents!), but everything has gone up in the last decade. This is a taco and burrito specialty spot. The place itself isn't very modern or fancy, but the food is exactly how I like it. They let me customize everything with the sauces and extra toppings I want, which makes it even more delicious. At other restaurants, the food is usually pre-made, so it's hard to add extra ingredients the way I prefer. Here, they are very flexible and make it just the way I ask. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, and the service and food preparation skills are excellent. I really enjoy coming here. read more

We came in from Mission Texas which in Deep South Texas and it is known for good Mexican tacos since the border is very close. Everytime we travel, we look for good Mexican food which is hard to find. We were in the mood for some good tacos and tried this place since the reviews looked good. We were very hesitant and didn't know what to expect. My wife and I went in and were immediately greeted and asked for our order. Delighted to say this was one of the best place we've ever tried (HIGH compliment from a SD/TJ local who has plenty access to BOMB tacos )! What we ordered: - build your own-ish burrito: i got the BUCHE meats, rice and beans. It was fire! The buche was well seasoned, not too salty or too overcooked! The rice and beans were good too! I did wish they gave us a bigger portion to fill up the burrito & gave lime instead of lemon but I'll take what I can get! 5/5 Service & Atmosphere: - Service: they're friendly and helpful! It was super quick, we went in and out in less than 15 minutes. - Atmosphere: the place is huge, there's plenty of seatings. I love all the decoration and art on the wall! The people are very nice and the place didn't look dirty (even though the bathroom could use a little cleanup). However to me the most obvious and important part of any restaurant was the food. And the food was not good. I got an al pastor mulita and 3 tacos (al pastor, cabeza, asada). It wasn't good. The meat was hard and smelled really bad and it tastes horrible. It wasn't too late (7:20 pm, they close at 11pm) so if the food already tastes bad I don't think it'll taste much better. Even if I give them the benefit of the doubt, I don't think I can ignore the fact that their tacos are super small. Yes, it's $2.19 but the tacos were the size of my palms and I'm 5"2 to give you a better picture. I won't be coming back. It's a shame because they're so close to my house and the people seem sweet but I couldn't even finish my tacos, threw away two of them after having a bite. Taco Tuesdays AND Wednesdays?? Me = instant fan. The taco prices on a normal day won't break the bank ($1.35), but only 97 cents on Tuesdays or Wednesdays is a deal that's hard to resist. I've taken tacos to go and have also eaten here and I definitely prefer eating in. Tacos don't get as soggy and are much tastier. Plenty of parking, you walk in, order your tacos and choice of meat and they dress them for you as well. Choice of cilantro & onion (they also have cilantro only and onion only!) and 3 types of salsa. What's also great is that they take credit card! This is my first visit. It's not often that I am happy with a dish from my first bite. The meatless breakfast burrito I had this AM was Delicious! The rice and beans were perfect - fluffy and fresh. The eggs had that grilled flavor I love. And the green salsa gave it a perfect kick. The dining area is much bigger than I expected and very clean. Saw that they don't open till 7:30 which was perfect (I thought) because It was 7:15. Decided to wait. Staff arrived at 7:35 and told me I had to wait for them to cook the food. We hadn't been back here since the beginning of the pandemic, and the reviews have definitely lowered overall, so we were a little worried the quality went down, but fortunately, that's not the case and the tacos are as delicious as ever. I will say that they won't give you unlimited salsa like they did before, but they gave us enough for all of our tacos. I guess they're now selling their salsa separately, so they aren't as open to giving it away as before. My wife and I got a bunch of al pastor (my favorite) and carne asada tacos. As expected they were very good, and it was nice they still gave us spicy jalapenos and carrots. As others noted, the lady who serves you isn't exactly friendly, but I don't think she's mean either. She's just to the point and I'm sure she has to deal with a lot of different people all day while working during Covid, so I can understand that she would just want to get to the point, so I'm not going to knock down any points for that. Overall, we still really like this place and for $1.47 per taco, it's a steal. Also, they have tacos for $1.09 every Tuesday and Wednesday, so we'll definitely go back for that deal. read more
