    Anothef happy diner.

They have such a good bunch at Casa Adelita, I feel more familiar with THEM than the in-laws... Anyway, I went and got their menudo 2 days consecutive - plus to watch the Wotld Cup final. Anyway, who can say? I don't know if I even would've TRIED this place if it wasn't so close & convenient. If Disneyland is 'the happiest place on earth' then Casa Adelita's gotta be the tastiest...

If you're looking for a warm, authentic, mom & pop style neighborhood Mexican Restaurant then look no further! Casa Adelita is a the top of my list for best restaurant's in La Habra and it's truly a place that makes La Habra the city that it is. The food here is excellent and always has consistent quality. Not only does the food have quality, it has variety as well. Wether you want Chilaquiles, pozole, or my favorite Mojarra Frita there's something for everyone here! The service here is fantastic and super attentive. We've never had to wait very long for our orders and they've always been accurate. Truly a hard working staff who are big part of Casa's excellent reputation!

My family absolutely loves this restaurant. Its a rare gem in the city of La Habra. The beans are fantastic as well as the rice. I'm picky about Mexican rice and, but this one is delicious. The ranchera sauce is amazing. Its so good that I can drink it. I ask for a side of it with whatever I order. We stopped in this past weekend and my grandpa had huevos rancheros. My husband and I shared a 3 item combo with 2 hard shell tacos, and a chicken enchilada. Everything was wonderful. The chips and salsa are always fresh. Most of the employees have been here for decades. Its just a fantastic family restaurant, and have enjoyed dining here for years.

We ordered pozole chicken and chile verde. Both are bland. The chili verde a bit more seasoning. Service is average, love rhe interior decor, painted walls and feels like eating at someones home.

Love the chips and salsa. We had the Carne Asada nachos and ceviche from the happy hour menu. You have to ask for the happy hour menu they don't just give it to you. The nachos were wonderful. The carne Asada was so tender and delicious and I always loved the ceviche.

This was the 7 Mares Soup, sorri, i had already begun to eat at it. It was very delicious.

The 7 mares soup was very delicious. I highly recommend it next time anyone goes to Casa de Adelita's for a return or a first time visit...

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! I ordered pozole through DoorDash from this restaurant, and what I received was beyond unacceptable. The small container of chili powder they provided was crawling with tiny insects. It was revolting to even think this was meant to be consumed. When I called the restaurant to let them know, I was put on hold for over seven minutes. I eventually had to hang up. I tried calling again for the next 3-5 minutes, but the line was constantly busy. When I finally got through, the woman who answered acted like it was no big deal -- completely undermining what I was saying, as if finding bugs in your food is somehow normal. This was one of the most disgusting and disappointing food experiences I've ever had. Between the unsafe food, the lack of urgency, and the dismissive customer service, I will never be ordering from here again.

Solid enchilada dish. Blended mango margarita was fairly strong. Good ambience and flavors for nice meal out.

Ordered a large take out order with a big tray of enchiladas and big ceviche. Everything was great and ready on time. Staff was very nice. Great for catering parties

    Molcajete Mexicano Para 2 Personas

Just found our new favorite Mexican restaurant! Molcajete was on fire! Asada, chicken, chorizo, cheese, nopales, jalapeños, green onions and salsa did not disappoint! Whole beans (with bacon) and rice came with it. The kids plates came with refried beans and rice. Everything was delicious! Service was great! Ambiance was a cozy mom and pop spot.

I haven't received service this well and food this good in a hot while. I had the Barbacoa plate. La comida estuvo exquisita y llegó a la mesa bien caliente. The food was excellent and served hot! Not warm but hot! The Restaurant is exceptionally clean and representative of an old-school Mexican restaurant.

    Platillos grandes barbacoa
    Jeremy S.

I had the platillos grandes barbacoa (beef) ($19.75), which had rice, beans, salsa, and choice of corn or flour tortillas. The beef was shredded, slow-cooked, and braised in a slightly tangy and spicy broth. It was deliciously flavorful. I appreciated that everything on my plate was hot. The onions and cilantro on the plate, however, weren't to my liking. The meal was slightly pricy, but I enjoyed the food, ambience, and experience overall. It's a good place to bring family. We had chips and salsa before our meal. Also, there was a mariachi band that played for the table next to us.

I wish I would have took a photo of my food. Adelitas has been my go to breakfast spot. Never disappointed. Yesterday my boyfriend wanted to try their dinner plates. Delicious. What I love about this restaurant is the consistency. Regardless what time you go the service is always great. Very attentive, Very welcoming.

The space was so aesthetically pleasing and incredibly vibey -- very Instagram-worthy without feeling overdone. The décor had gorgeous details everywhere, with greenery and hanging elements from the ceiling, warm lighting, and a layout that felt open and roomy while still cozy. You could tell a lot of love and effort went into designing the place. The food was delicious, the music was great, and the overall atmosphere made it such a nice spot to relax, hang out, and take it all in. It was one of those places where everything just worked -- the lighting, the vibe, the energy. We recently drove by and saw that it has closed permanently, which honestly made me really sad. It felt like they truly tried to create something special for the community, and it showed in the details. Grateful we got to experience it while it was open. It was a beautiful spot that will definitely be missed.

Even though the restaurant is small and busy, we were seated right away, which was a great start. Our waiter Washington, was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and made our whole experience even better. The atmosphere was perfect too. They had music playing at just the right volume and a big TV showing the live Dodger game, which the kids loved. We started with chips and salsa. The salsa had the perfect level of spice for everyone at the table. The kids ordered horchatas and were excited about the unlimited refills (something you don't always see at other restaurants!). The drinks for the adults were just as impressive. My wife's watermelon margarita on the rocks was perfectly made. It was not overly sweet or syrupy like at some places. Our friends had the "El Jefe" margaritas, and they definitely didn't skimp on the tequila! For dinner, everything was a hit. The kids loved their meals. Albóndigas soup, shrimp tacos, and street tacos--all served with rice and beans. The adult dishes were just as good. The carne asada arrachera was cooked perfectly, the chile verde was full of flavor, and my chicken mole was delicious with a great balance of spicy and sweet without being overwhelming. The portions were very generous, and everything came with rice, beans, and both corn and flour tortillas. The only small thing I would've preferred differently was the chicken in my mole. I personally would've liked a leg and thigh instead of sliced chicken breast but the dish was still very good overall. What really stood out was the hospitality. At the end of the meal, Washington offered us "holy water"-house tequila shots on the house--and it wasn't cheap tequila either! Then after the bill came, he surprised us again with another round of "holy water". That level of generosity and care really impressed us. We also learned that the restaurant has been there 20+ years and is family-run by him and his siblings, which made the experience feel even more personal. You can tell they have a loyal customer base--one couple even said, "See you tomorrow Washington!" The only feedback we'd offer (coming from a customer service background) is that we noticed a few guests waiting at the entrance without being greeted, and one couple actually left the restaurant. A simple "Welcome, we'll be right with you" would go a long way. That said, it didn't take away from our experience. Overall, amazing food, great service, generous portions, and a welcoming family atmosphere. We will definitely be back to try more of their menu!

I'm constantly let down trying yet another taqueria or Mexican food joint only to find the pastor kind of lackluster. That's why Burrito Brothers is such a find. Every bite was a joy, and every joy was one that I wish could last forever. I'm not shy to say that I'm already trying to figure out the next optimum time to get back to this place. The service was great. Everyone was quick and friendly. And they all seemed immensely proud of the business they had built. It was just an easy experience telling them exactly what I wanted and getting my meal squared away. They were even helpful as to the best way to order in my food to go with a call and get it made exactly right. I like the space too. It only fits 16 customers, but that seems more than enough for the amount of dine-in customers it receives. I enjoyed that they catered to solo diners, possessing a long counter space and three-top tables mostly instead of larger seating arrangements for their dining room. To sum up, this place is fantastic and amazing for my favorite of all the burritos after goat.
