She was impressed with their posts and they made it easy to navigate their weekly schedule. We arrived shortly after 4pm on a Saturday afternoon at 801 Silas Creek Parkway in Winston. There were several cars there but no line. We approached the food truck and started looking over the menu. Everything they do features birria style meat. Neither of us have much experience ordering birria style dishes but the young man at the window was helpful in his recommendations on what to order for now and what dishes would save best for leftovers. We went with his recommendation to share the quesadilla now and order the tacos for later. The prices range from $12-15 per item but they also have a birria pizza for $35 which looks large enough to feed several people. We paid with a credit card and we're provided a small device that alerts customers when their orders are ready. This was the first time we have ever received something like this and though it was brilliant because so many times you order at a food truck you are stuck standing close by so you can hear your name when the order is ready. Our food was prepared in a timely manner and we decided to drive up the road before eating. When we opened up our containers everything looked incredible. We immediately dug in and the quesadilla was full of delicious ingredients and flavor. I took a few pictures of my tacos but saved them for later. I'm happy to report that they were delicious heated up. We will absolutely be back soon to try even more!

Triad friends, if you haven't had the chance to stop by this food truck yet, be sure to add it to your list! The Birria is flavorful and meaty and their portions are always massive. This pizza is a double decker of meat and cheese and enough to feed 2-4 people! If you're not a Birria fan the chicken tacos are always one of our favorites

I'm so glad we did, because this might honestly be one of the best hot dogs in Winston. I got two dogs with ketchup, mustard, and onions, and my husband got two all the way (Carolina style). Everything was delicious. The line was a little long, but it moved quickly, and the food came out fast too, which I appreciated. The hot dogs themselves were top-tier in flavor, but I have to talk about the buns. The buns were perfectly toasted with butter you could actually taste, and it made all the difference. Seriously, I'm still thinking about these hot dogs. We'll definitely be back, and I'd recommend them to anyone who loves a good hot dog.

You don't run out of hot dog before you get to the end of the bread like some places. The chili is really good and they use red onions instead of yellow or white. And the slaw is good as well. And don't sleep on the smoke sausages. They are beef as well and so juicy. You get a choice of 5 toppings but I always get spicy mustard, texas pete hot sauce and grilled onions. You can get it split or whole. And did I mention how affordable it is? The only negative I can give is no fries, the combo comes with chips and a canned soda. You can upgrade to a glass soda for an extra $1. Give them a try and let me know what you think.

I liked the sauce that came it, and although it was spicy, it wasn't overwhelming. The spicy noodles and chicken were also delicious, just be prepared for the spice. I happen to stumble across their launch announcement on Facebook and made it my business to go and give it a try. As an African American with ZERO cultural ties to my ancestral home, I've been super eager to try West African cuisine. African Avenue is a bright orange food truck that sits next to the McDonald's on the Perimeter of Hanes Mall. There's safe and easy access with plenty of parking. I approached the food truck and was greeted by a friendly lady. They have a small menu, but his is a plus for me as it leaves less room for me to be indecisive! I ordered a few things. A meat pie, Bissop, and the Jollof (red rice) and Goat that's served with a side of fried plantain. The meat pie had a sweet and flaky crust. It was filled with seasoned ground meat (unsure what kind) potatoes, and carrots. It was very flaky and easy to eat. It was delicious. The Bissop is a Hibiscus drink. It wasn't as sweet as Sorrel, but was spiced and ginger forward. It was refreshing. The Jollof rice was spicy and flavorful. EVERY grain of rice had absorbed the tomatobase and seasonings. The GOAT was tender and seasoned well. The plantain was semi sweet. Overall a great dish. It only took about 4 minutes to receive my food. I waited until I got home to eat because there's no seating and I had my toddler in the car. The food was cold by the time I arrived and it was only a 15 minute drive. I can't wait to go back to try the Eguisi and pounded yam! Reasonable prices and great portions! Go check them out and try something new!!

Bao Yeah offers not only bao but bowls and fried chicken as well. Their ordering (via tablet) is convenient, and they turn around orders quickly. I went with a three-piece bao, which allowed me to sample the two fried chicken varieties (K*Bomb with gochujang and Garlic Gang with soy black garlic) as well as the bulgogi. All of the bao were amply stuffed with meat and pickled vegetables and slathered with tasty sauce. The thick buns held everything in place, so eating was not too sloppy an endeavor. Everything delivered the expected flavors - sweet heat from the K*Bomb, a tangier note from the bulgogi - and the fried chicken boasted a thick, crunchy batter. It was quite tasty though the chicken was definitely a bit dry. At least the bulgogi was nice and tender. All told, Bao Yeah is a promising newish addition to the Triad food truck scene. It may not be the best Korean street food you've ever had, but you're in for a flavorful meal without a long wait.
