They also give you grilled onions on the side, which are my favorite. The salsa is fantastic. The burritos keep well (don't get mushy too fast) so I often take them on hikes. Each meal came with 4 tacos featuring small double corn tortillas, and the usual fixings, plus sauce on the side. It was a satisfying lunch. N.B. They don't have their own web site, but do take credit cards and can be found on search engines such as Google. There is parking for a handful of vehicles right there, and more on the street if needed. It is apparent that this food truck is associated with the El Tapatio at 201 Ferry Street, but it is not the same truck. (El Tapatio Mission St, El Tapatio Ferry St).

First impression was the flavors are bold, the sauce was thick and flavorful and the meat was lean so the sauce was not oily. On the down side, bigoli pasta is thick which I like, but I am guessing either the water was not hot enough or there was not enough water as the pasta was gummy. Two brothers run this food truck and I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt that they are just getting use to the truck and the noodles will be better on my next visit. Was able to order quickly at the counter and food arrived within 10 minutes. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, but it was already too warm to sit outside and eat hot food, unless you like that kind of thing! I ordered the 3-meat combo plate with pulled pork, brisket burnt ends and baby back ribs. Sides I picked were coleslaw and elote. Meal also came with a corn muffin. The highlights: Brisket burnt ends were tender with good bark and had nice flavor. The pulled pork was also very tasty and tender. Sauce was nicely balanced (they even sell it if you want some to go). Corn muffin was light, fluffy and delicious, not too sweet and the honey butter had some cinnamon in it which turned out to be a winner in my book. The "room for improvement" came with the ribs, elote and the coleslaw. The ribs were a bit disappointing. They were a tad dry and overwhelmingly smoky in flavor. I was looking for the succulent, fall-off-the-bone kind of rib with a delicious rub perhaps. As for the coleslaw, it was honestly very bland. No tang, no sweet, no distinct flavor. Needed a little salt too. The elote was a nice idea but the corn lost all its moisture (sat in dry heat too long?) and was kind of shriveled upon arrival. The toppings were good, but I was hoping for juicy, spits-in-your-eye kind of corn. All in all, I would definitely go back. It's hard to judge a place like this off one visit and the food I did like, I would return for.
