Food was AMAZINGGGG. Came out hot, fresh, and beautiful. So delicious, smaller portions but for a smaller price as well-- so it's a perfect lunch spot. Service was very friendly and fast, probably ordered within 5 minutes, got our food about 5 minutes after that (ordered flautas and quesa birria with side of rice). Once again, I have enjoyed the Quesabirria with consume and hot sauce. This style of cooking is historic, from Oaxaca, Mexico. Never mind the owners are from Jalisco, pan fried tacos, especially with slow roasted brisket (birria) is universal in Mexico. Disclaimer: I came from LA where you close your eyes and pick a taco stand and you will not miss. Found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try as the pictures looked decent. One of my friends in my party is hispanic and we approve of this place considering this restaurant is located in a small town east of Washington. The flavor of the al pastor was good. It was a little dry and smaller than I hoped for, but pretty decent to fix our taco cravings. The quesabirria is quite good. The meat is tender and juicy, pairs well with the birria. The plate I have is close to $12 so it's a little pricier than what I would have paid in LA, but then again, still decently priced and taste! The place is nice and clean. Service is as expected where you ordered at the counter and they bring it to you. I only wished they will have a sauce bar with more sauce options especially mild salsa or even avocado salsa for those likes the taste of avocado nuttiness in their taco. Some restaurants put your entire life into perspective and make you question your reality. Hear me out: My friend recommended that I stopped by here since I was going to be in the area, and we just so happened to be ravenously hungry after a hike and decided to drop by. I really like the layout of the restaurant. It's very spacious and there's a lot of seating, service was very friendly and fast as well and the lady who took her order gave really good recommendations. My husband ordered a machete and I ordered a quesabirria, and let me tell you that the first bite I took made me so incredibly happy and so devastatingly sad at the exact same time. It was in that moment that I realized that I thought I'd have been eating really good Mexican food in Seattle, and compared to this, I hadn't. I realized that I would only get to taste this amazing food once or twice a year and so I tried my best to save her every bite and ended up making a second order because I just couldn't get enough of it. Very clean inside. Food was served in a timely matter. I ordered the sopes, they tasted great, very authentic. The only issue was they were very small for the price. Restaurant inside only had 2 highchairs which were both in use and I had to sit my 1.5 yr old on a chair There also were no garbage cans around anywhere to throw our food away or trash in general. Wow! This places is a hidden gem in an unassuming location in a business strip mall. My husband and I are authentic taco fiends and are visiting from out of town when we stumbled upon this place a short trip from our hotel. I ate almost everything before I remember to snag a photo! My favorites were the quesabiria, sopes, & cabeza taco. My husband ordered the Machette and a few tacos. All the food was amazing. We love finding a great authentic taco spot! The price is a bit high for how much you got. I had the Quesabirria. It was good. The al pastor was good. Had a side of rice and bean. The portion was very small and both were cold. I have tried quite a few of the menu items and always absolutely LOVED everything I have gotten here. Definitely try their tacos Cihualteca with the asada, shrimp, and melted cheese. This is what I call a "little hole in the wall" , literally. This gem is well hidden within a plaza next to the Red Lion hotel in Wenatchee. Street tacos with good flavoring that reminds you of your native land specially the Alpastor with bits of pineapple to get the sweetness right after the spicy. Chorizo tacos are also good too with lots of salsa and some radishes on the side. The only thing keeping this place from a 5 star, are the sizes of their tortas.
