    Quesabirria

I love little authentic places like this. Staff was friendly, order at counter which i really prefer. Sometimes i want to be quick so better than table service. Dining room was modern and clean. Now the quesabirria tacos i had were as good as any I've had. Tender meat, tasty cheese, great dipping juice. Would come back again. Open Sunday +++

    Grilled buritto.

Let me preface this review with the fact the original owners are back and have only been open for 3 weeks. This is not the Pavs owners anymore. I ordered my old favorite a grilled burrito with pico de gallo (shredded beef). So nice to have it again. It was sure tasty. I asked about the old taco tuesday deals and they said no at the moment. They still need to put up a menu board, etc. its a work in progress. So, i will revisit after a few months to update this review. Nice and clean inside and many original items. Glad to see it open again.

    Quesabirria, veggie sopes.

Stopped here on the way to Mazama. Ordered quesabirria and veggie sopes. Both were absolutely out of this world, best Mexican food I've ever had in Washington state. I especially appreciated that the vegetarian option was not phoned in like it is at many Mexican restaurants out in the country. Instead it had a nice mixture of greens and other vegetables and was very well cooked (not overcooked and mushy).

    Chorizo, Adobada, and carnitas.

A solid tacqueria. The adobada was the most flavorful with the chorizo unusually mild. The carnitas had a nice slow roasted flavor but needed some salsa to come alive. They put pinto beans in the tacos which adds some nice texture and flavor. Gonna have to stop by here next trip to Chelan!

Food is pretty cheap here. This is what-you-pay- is-what-you-get type of restaurant. Food isn't bad but not great either. I came here around 2 pm and it was still very busy. There were only two servers working in the restaurant. We asked for napkins and utensils for a few times, but the server was way too busy to get us utensils. We end up eating with hands No hard feelings because they were very kind and nice. I think they just need to hire more employees.

The enchilada (roja) sauce is basted on the enchiladas before cooking them--the flavor is deeper, richer, more rustic. I had them, they are a generous proportion and delicious! Chicken Enchiladas are shown and priced on the menu, but a barbacoa-style chopped beef is an option. If you like beef, you'll love this slower roasted choice. It cost a little more but worth so much more. The beans and rice are standard. Chips and salsa are extra. But see the attached menus--there are many options. The main salon is a family-style dining area with booths and a line of stools at a counter (bldg used to be a soda and ice-cream shop). The seating is comfortable and the ambiance is quiet. The rear of the restaurant is a full bar area with a huge television, plenty of seating, and a sports bar atmosphere. - Tecate 12 oz is $4.95. - American beers are 3.89 Yes, they have specialty drinks like Micheladas (the Mexican beer version of a Bloody Mary). The main attraction is clearly--quality food at affordable prices...all-in-all, a 4-Star experience.

Quick heads-up before you go: the restaurant is upstairs and does not have an elevator, so it may not be ideal for anyone using a mobility chair or who has difficulty with stairs. Once we arrived, we were seated immediately and jumped right into the menu. We both ordered the House Margaritas, and wow oh so good. Smooth, refreshing, and just what we needed to kick off the meal. For food, I ordered the Carne Asada, which came with your choice of flour or corn tortillas, rice, fresh guacamole, pico de gallo, and a beautifully grilled skirt steak. Everything on the plate was delicious. The steak was well seasoned, tender, and easy to cut, while the pico de gallo and guacamole tasted incredibly fresh. Wrapping everything up in a warm flour tortilla created the perfect bite. It was simple, flavorful, and so satisfying. My cousin went with the Enchiladas Rojas with ground beef, and she rated it a 5 out of 5. Outstanding! High praise, and judging by how quickly her plate disappeared, I believe it. We finished the night with Fried Ice Cream, which was the perfect sweet ending. Crispy on the outside, cold and creamy on the inside. This definitely topped off the meal and left us stuffed but very happy. Would I recommend Los Camperos? 100% absolutely. Fast service, friendly staff, and food that comes out quickly and delivers on flavor. A fantastic way to end our Leavenworth trip.

What a great restaurant! Excellent food, impeccable service!…read more First, the service: the hostess greeted us at the door, and immediately took us to our table. Our server, Catherine, was asking for our drink orders moments after we'd taken our seats. And the abundant chips and salsa were at our table moments later. We ordered our food and it came promptly. In short, we felt the staff made sure we were taken care of, this despite the fact that the restaurant was hopping busy. What a great way to run a restaurant! Second, the food: it was excellent. We were all hungry, and each of us polished off our plates, despite generous portions. Catherine asked if we wanted boxes at the end of our meals, which set us all off laughing, since there was nary a scrap left! There were a variety of dietary restrictions, mostly gluten-free or vegetarian, and they happily accommodated. I really had a hankering for chicken tacos, which the server said they'd happily make for me, even though they weren't on the menu. And they were delicious, with a healthy portion of juicy and savory meat, loaded into homemade soft corn tortillas, which I loaded with healthy portions of their house-made salsa. So yummy! Others ordered their Tacos de Camaron (off their ample seafood menu), spinach enchiladas, vegetarian chimichangas (my girlfriend loved them), and Tacos Dorados. Plates were nearly clean when we were done, which speaks to how good the food was. I'm not sure when I'll next be in Chelan, but I can guarantee this will be my go-to when I am!

We noticed this Mexican Restaurant was open till 9p so we decided to eat here. It was a busy weekend night. This place had outside seating as well. We found 1 empty table right when you stepped in. Our server was amazing! My husband and I were going to split an entree. My husband's go-to is always an asada burrito. However, I asked for a suggestion. Our server recommended the Molcujete to split. Really it was the price of 2 entrees at $33 but was thinking that we needed to try something completely different and this was it. My daughter and mother split the enchiladas with rice and beans. The food took a long time however our server made sure we were kept in the loop, apologized and gave us more chips and salsa rather than ignore us. The molcujete was so different. In a pot with all the different meats, veggies and cheese along with tortillas. I liked it at a 4.5 out of 5. However, my husband didn't like it as much giving it a 4 out of 5. My daughter & mother loved the enchiladas giving it a 5 out of 5. The churro dessert was amazing. Carry cash because this place does charge a service fee for using a credit card. I think this place would have been more like a 4.5 star if they didn't do that. In the past, that was the cost of doing business was accepting credit cards to get more business but now instead of adjusting pricing on their food businesses is adding it.
