Second visit there was only one server and the place ended up getting packed and I felt terrible for her because she had so many tables. It probably took 20 minutes to get to me for a drink order and another 10 before I could place my food order. She was very nice, but there needs to be management there to help out when things get this rough. Third visit is probably my last. Hardly anyone in the restaurant, the young man waiting tables is OK nice. My other two visits both of my entrées came with beans and rice. I ordered Daddy's special An outage came on a huge plate with a tamale, flauta, and a chile relleno. There were no beans and rice and I asked my server if I could get a side of beans and rice for the plate? Few moments later he came out with a rather large plate with beans and rice on it. About 30% more than you would get on a normal plate. When my check came, I was shocked. For the side of beans and rice that was 399 each which brought my ticket total up eight dollars! That's right, $8 for side of beans and rice. I'll skip this place and go back to my regular spots, Casa Garcia and Caretta's.

The woman working was very friendly and the Pastor and Chicharron tacos were amazing! Drinking a Jarritos with good tacos is one of the best eating experiences out there and I was very satisfied. They will ring up your order on a calculator and charge your card without showing you an itemized ticket. I noticed the counter worker served herself 20% on the credit card processor and only held out the handheld card reader to charge my card. I won't return due to this deceptive practice.

The service here always seems to be very good and the ambiance is a unique mix that gives it a fun vibe. The burger and lasagna are decent and the Italian and Mexican style food can often be quite nice. The New Orleans food is typically good and they usually have rotating daily specials. Overall this is great spot when you have a group of people that all want something different. Warren Zevon would really enjoy this place!
