    Blackened Salmon with Gnocchi

We came here for our 44th & 45th Anniversary dinner. The service was impeccable, top shelf. We did make reservations as Tarantini's is a very popular restaurant near The Governors Club Community. The restaurant gives you a casual elegant feeling . As I wore a dress long sleeve shirt with dress pants, others were dressed in suits, t- shirt, jeans. No dress code but you do have to wear shoes and shirt. Pants optional?? you know !!! The food was excellent, The Grilled Blackened Salmon( wild caught ) was amazingly good . My wife's dish Chicken Parm was delicious also. We have been here two times and the food and are constantly great. Our server Jason in both visits did an excellent job in attending to us. The price was very reasonable as I have had twice as expensive bill other places with a lack luster feeling. Tarantini's will not let you down with their dining experience there. They provide excellent service coupled with great food . I do have to say , the parking could be a problem, but if you don't mind walking you can park in the grocery store lot . Overall, Tarantini's is a great place. I know we will be back. If you are reading this and looking for a great restaurant, this is the place. "Bon Appetite"

Wonderful service, comfortable chairs, plenty of space at the table in the area that we sat and we had a wonderful server. I enjoyed and appreciated the entire meal from start to finish. We had several appetizers that were delicious. The fried ravioli was crisp and flavorful, the bruschetta was overflowing with cheese and tomatoes, and the calamari was light and cooked nicely and all solid cut pieces. I tried one of the specials, eggplant rolatini served over spinach , this was delicious and flavorful filled with spinach and ricotta and topped with a nice serving of mozzarella that was toasted. Dinner was very filling and everyone in my party enjoyed their meal tonight.

Ask the Community - Tarantini Italian Restaurant

Is there an automatic gratuity for a party of five?

Auto gratuity is reserved for parties of six or more and generally only for individual checks. One check, 50/50 split, couples, etc. usually leave gratuity to the customer.

Do they have real carbonara ? No cream sauce or Alfredo sauce

I would call the restaurant and ask them since every chef makes a dish differently.

    What's the dress code?

Casual but no slob wear. Nice or dressy casual is safe.

They had four beers listed online but only three on the menu in house.? I had the Italian Pilsner. Very informative and friendly staff. The menu features cheese dishes (obviously) and sandwiches, salads and desserts. I ordered the Raclette because I love it and it's hard to find. Wish it was a traditional Swiss Raclette where the cheese is melted on top of a half wheel then scraped off. But this was a French Raclette according to the menu which had thick slices of cows milk melted over halved fingerling potatoes ( under the cheese in the picture ) with sides of good sliced baguette, salami and more small cornichons than I've had at one time in my life. While it tasted good and filled me up, it wasn't the best I ever had. But it's worth a visit. You should check it out.

The place is quite small, with about five tables, and maybe 12 seats at the bar. We sat at the bar as we only wanted drinks and snack. Christian, the bartender, greeted us right away and brought food and drink menus. He explained the specials and took our drink orders. My companion found an interesting Greek white wine, and I asked for a boulevardier, my go-to cocktail for a new place. The wine was to her liking, and the cocktail was about the best example I've had in recent memory. Christian used Woodford Reserve bourbon and Campari rather than Aperol so it had a slightly less bitter taste and was a lovely auburn color. The food menu was very interesting, with lots of items we've never tried. We ordered caesar salad with anchovies, green beans in garlic-soup sauce, panella (a chick-pea and cream cheese dish), and seasoned French fries. It was all yummy and delivered together. The service we got really couldn't have been much better: attentive without hovering. The food and drink quality was outstanding, and we thought the prices were very reasonable for what we got. In short, thanks Christian, and we'll be back.
