We have been here twice now and have totally enjoyed our visits. The lay out is nice with lots of booths and tvs. Service has been great, and prices very reasonable. For example, $5.50 for a craft beer and they have a good selection. Our first visit we had the chicken cheese steak sandwich and it was very tasty. Comes with frys that were also good. I went here for a work event and it was great. Our food was pretty good and they had lots of gluten free options (buns, pizza, and pasta). The drinks were great but as can happen with craft cocktails, sometimes the bar was a little slow. It was busy though so I hope that isn't the case all the time. This restaurant had a full renovation and apparently it was an Italian restaurant before. It has been opened for about a month now and we came to check it out. Great open space, fully stocked bar, TV's around, and it has both tables and booths. We sat at a booth towards the far back, near the bar. It wasn't too busy, so it was perfect. We ordered the wings with hot sauce as a starter. Ethan was our waiter. He was very friendly and gave us some information about the restaurant and offered some suggestions. Once the wings came to the table, we realized they were boneless. They looked and tasted more like chicken nuggets. They also came with the wrong sauce. Ethan apologized and did offer to bring the right sauce, but we were hungry so we just ate it. I ordered the strawberry walnut salad with shrimp. I asked for the dressing on the side. Once I received my salad it was covered in dressing and they topped it with a cup of more dressing. I'm not sure if it was a waiter error or a kitchen error. Again, I ate it but was not happy with it. I wish the shrimp were hot when they arrived at the table. Not sure if when they put the dressing on it, it just got cold. We also ordered the filet mignon with a side of plain pasta. This dish came out perfect. The steak was delicious and perfectly cooked. The mamas burger which is not on the menu was ok. This was a suggestion. Unfortunately, it lacked flavor but it was edible. The pizza was a disappointment. It was super oily and all the cheese just collapsed in the middle of the plate once we started eating. I do have a photo of that, but it's not appetizing so will not post on here. I think this could be saved if it was put on a flat plate instead of the plate it came in. Overall, I was very excited to come in and try this restaurant, but don't think I will come back to eat here. They did have $2 beers while we were there and we did take advantage of that. Came for dinner with a friend. Has a bar feel and definitely bar type food. Got the chicken sandwich with fries. Was good. Not great. Service was good. I didn't really care for the tired bar feel. Service was pretty mid, food wasn't bad though! We had to keep flagging down our server and they infrequently came to check in on us.

We waited over 40 minutes for our food, only to be met with confusion when we asked our server for an update. His response? "Who took your order?" He had taken it! Apparently the receipt printer "messed up" and our order was never even sent to the kitchen. What made it worse was that another staff member had even come by earlier to ask if we'd ordered and still, no one followed up. The atmosphere didn't help either. If you have sensory sensitivities, it's too loud and avoid the window seating at all costs. The spotlights above the booths make it oppressively hot and there's zero air circulation in those little areas. We were sweating, uncomfortable, and completely forgotten. There was no apology, no effort to make it right, no urgency from the staff, just indifference. We ended up leaving hungry and frustrated. Definitely won't be back. Chapel Hill has far better spots where your time and comfort are actually respected. -edit- we ended up going down the street to get a quick bite from Shake Shack because we were starving and the service was INFINITELY better. Food was very good, prices not too bad. Lots of TV options for sports. But the training of wait staff is very bad. At a table of four, server should not return with the food asking "Who gets what?" You just took my order ten minutes ago, why don't you know? Then when I indicate the dish is mine, and she is standing on the other side of the table, she should not squeeze between the two diners on her side to reach across the table to deliver my plate. And when, fully stretched, and still unable to reach the cleared table space in front of me, she should not go "here," expecting me to take the plate from her hands to serve myself. When I am still actively eating with food on my plate, she should not start picking up my companions' empty plates and start clearing the table. And when we are done eating but still enjoying our drinks, she should not interrupt and tell us she'll give us our check now... there was no need to flip the table as there were plenty of empty ones, and who knows, we might have wanted more drinks. Note that she was not unkind or unpleasant, just unprofessional. I blame the owners for either not providing sufficient training, or else tolerating sub par service. I mean, don't servers WANT to earn decent tips? But I did enjoy the food. read more

Very clean restaurant in a space that has housed several others, hope this one succeeds. Greeted on entering. Very friendly staff. The interior is decorated with Carolina sports memorabilia. I went for lunch and had their Grilled Chicken and Bacon wrap. It was very flavorful wrapped in a spinach tortilla with a side of fries. Plus the lunch specials are a reasonable price. I am so angry after eating here. I ordered half rack of ribs for lunch. Don't ever do that. A McRib would have been more satisfying after the dry chewy piece of bone. We were pleasantly surprised by this place! I would highly recommend a visit! We tried a variety of dishes. The fettucini Alfredo and rigatoni alla vodka were both fantastic and for only $15?! That is a steal for this area. The house pizza was crispy with a delicious parm garlic basted crust and pretty good toppings. I probably would not recommend the filet, as it was a little tough, but you can only expect so much from this type of Italian place. Also, the cheesecake was decent but nothing special; probably wouldn't get that again. The strombolis looked really good too but we didn't get one. What a great place to eat. I forgot to take a picture of the appetizer. It came out pretty quickly after we sat down. We ordered the Fried mozzarella cheese I think it was. That was delicious! Then the entree took a while to get to us but it was worth it. Crispy fries, Juicy burgers. Both girls really love their fettuccine Alfredo and the crispy fries. The ribs were good, not the best I've had but this is not a bbq place, so it was fine. We were surprised that it was not packed on a Saturday night. I strongly recommend it if you are in the area. They have a nice outdoor eating area. Great experience there. We will be back. read more

I've eaten hear at least a dozen times, and have never been disappointed. The pasta, salads, sandwiches and specialties are consistently very tasty, and their pizzas are as good as any pizzeria. The atmosphere is pure Tar Heel (as you'd expect) and the service is always very good. They usually have drink and/or beer and wine specials, and their bartenders are pros. The only complaint I have is that their annoying menus don't unfold and lie flat on the table. It's a good place to bring out of town guests because it's college-themed, not a chain, and has easy parking. read more

How is half your menu unavailable? We left to get pasta elsewhere. My most recent visit the bartenders were completely inattentive. There seemed to be some regulars/urchins also seated at the bar, one kept complaining about the lack of country music on the radio, ended up throwing his phone, and then knocking over his chair. My favorite from the food was the fried mozzarella, three large pieces, not greasy, nice flavor. I found the fried pickles more disappointing, the actual pickles didn't have much flavor, while the breading and ranch were also underwhelming. I generally liked the strawberry walnut salad, all the ingredients were fresh and looked attractive, though I found the dressing more sweet than balsamic. But I put in a Carryout order, using Seamless by Grubhub, around 10:40-11pm on Saturday evening, since every website stated that they didn't close until midnight. My payment was accepted, then I drive to the restaurant only for an employee to look at me, laugh, and say they've been closed since 10:30pm. I asked her why their front door says they're open until midnight and she says "We closed at 10:30, I don't know." Luckily, I was able to contact Seamless and get a refund, but this restaurant will not be receiving service from me in the future. Deceiving customers will never be good for business. Don't advertise that you're open until midnight if you actually close at 10:30pm! read more
