If I could give zero stars, I would. I've been taking my dogs here since I was a kid, so this really breaks my heart to write. I've always trusted this place and never thought I'd have a bad experience -- but the last few months have been awful. A while back, one of my dogs came home with an eye infection that lasted over a week and took vet visits to clear up. I tried to brush it off as a one-time mistake because I wanted to believe in them. But today, my other dog came home with a CHUNK missing from her ear. I was shocked, angry and heartbroken. I've attached a photo because it still doesn't feel real. I was told this by the groomer who said sorry and ran into the back room. I've always paid in full and treated the staff with respect, but after two injuries to my dogs, I just can't go back. It hurts to say that about a place I've trusted for so long. My dogs mean everything to me, and they deserve better care than this. Zero stars from me -- and a very heavy heart. read more

My pup had an appointment at a specialist and we were in the area, so we decided to stop in. I was pretty proud of my puppy as she had never been in a pet store type environment prior to this, but she did great and she was very brave. We picked out a few things for her and her big sister. I was a bit bummed when I asked the clerk for more details on a few cookies in the case and she said they were all the same flavor, but she didn't know what the flavor was, as they come from a vendor offsite. We love Bonnie's Barkery. That said, we don't use their groomers anymore. They have multiple dogs in cages awaiting grooming or pick up and I felt my dogs didn't do well in that environment and they were not excited to go back. Otherwise, a well supplied store with helpful people. read more

It was our pups 1st birthday and we wanted to grab him a cake. We had been to another dog bakery before but were not in the area. Searched up Yelp and found Bonnies Barkery. It was easy to find and we were welcomed in. They have food, toys, dog bakery items and other essentials for your fur children. We got 2 dog toys and 1 doggie birthday cake which came out to $55 and change. Not bad. The customer service was friendly and helpful and we got exactly what we needed. We did not have a good 3rd visit. Maybe cuz a request was made to keep length of hair so Finn looks like a bear. He came our with same cut as last. Guess that's the only option? I've taken our golden retriever several times to Bonnie's for grooming and he always comes out looking like a much more handsome golden! Johanna did his most recent deshedding bath- what a difference it made in how "golden" my floors are now. He's well cared for there & always happy to go there. The shop sells quality pet products. My poor black lab Bailey was losing all the hair around her eyes. My vet tried steroids and other medications. BB recommended the allergy test they sell and I was looking for anything that would help Bailey so I bought one and sent off the sample to Eureka Montana. Bailey was allergic to all grain and many different proteins. CJ at Bonnie's Barkery also got the results sent to her and she designed many options of specialty foods for Bailey that they sell. What other shop would take the time and energy to help with my #1 girl. Happy to report after one month of new food Bailey has all her hair back and I get compliments regarding her coat all the time. We are frequent shoppers at Bonnie's Barkery. This is a very nice pet bakery with pet food, toys, accessories and grooming. I've only purchased treats and toys here, but they have it all in a spacious store. It's super cute inside and very clean. Of course you can take your furry friend with you inside to pick out their dream treat or toy. My dog loves the No Hide pet treats. I was just in the other day and they were out of the pre- packaged peanut butter ones so they offered to build me my own package at the same price (I got 60 so it worked out great). I mentioned that my dog has really gross breath and she showed me a new product they started carrying that takes away that issue (you just sprinkle it in the food) and it really worked! I'm so grateful. They've found us the best pet shampoo that makes my dog's coat look and smell wonderful too. It's nice to have recommendations on products you really end up enjoying. Great spot in the neighborhood. The groomers are great. I used to take my dog to petsmart for nail trims but they got to be rude for no reason. Bonnies is a few mins from my house. They take my little minpin in with no problems and they are gracious and polite. And it's the same price as petsmart. The shop itself is great, they have unique toys and food and treats for dogs and cats. I go here monthly for my pup. They also follow Covid regulations which is good. read more

We had our Dog groomed there, and are so disappointed. We spent $75 plus a tip and she looks like they took scissors and just went around chopping off hair. She looks ratty and ungroomed, and her hair and nails are way too long. I know we could go back, but what's the use. We just won't take her there again. read more

My dogs always look great BUT it is so hard to make an appointment. The groomers are too busy to make it when the dogs are picked up and too busy to answer the phones when they are grooming the dogs! This place is the real deal. The selection of foods available is amazing; even fresh food in refrigerators. I am a regular as they stock the full line of Origens food that I give my lab. Bonnie sold out and went to school to become a veterinary dietician (no surprise there!), but the new owners are cool. They have not changed the successful formula. Very friendly. Pets welcome on a leash. If you care about what your pet eats, you owe it to them to pay a visit to Bonnie's Barkery. I have taken my Cairn Terrier to several chain groomers and each time they have not had the skill or the patience to give my girl the grooming her breed and her special coat dictates. We love this pet shop! The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant. They were very helpful in finding the right food for our pups; we needed to switch from Fromm to a food that was not on the list for causing DCM in large breed dogs, our pups don't do well with chicken and we have a large breed puppy. This was a tall order to find a food that fit the bill for all of the issues we presented; However, the staff came through with The Honest Kitchen kibble paired with the dehydrated meal. It's quality food and we feel good feeding it to our pups...they love it too! They have a snack/treat bar with single servings of specialty treats, 6+ freezers full of raw and fresh foods for your pets, toys, bowls, beds...you name it. Love love love this store! read more

I've been in and out of Bonnie's for almost 8 years now. I've brought my pets there and have been able to greet the adoptable pets as well. I have had nothing but great customer service every time I've been there. My friend from high school has been a groomer there for years, Lauren. After seeing her at work for years kicking butt at grooming I decided to go get certified in it myself 5 years ago. I was on and off grooming for friends until she hit me up if I wanted to come work with her. I'm happy to say I'll be starting there full time this coming up week. I've only had the opportunity to work Saturdays since the beginning of the year due to my kids but I've finally gotten after school and day care for them. I'm happy to be part of the team and get the opportunity to work with my close friend Lauren and to rekindle my passion with cats and dogs. I have to say Lauren is one of the best groomers I've had the opportunity to work with. I've never seen anyone handle animals as well as her. Anything from aggressive, shy, young and old she is truly one person I'm happy to be able to learn more from. I've worked at Petsmart in their salon for most 3 years and I was not always impressed by a corporations lack of sympathy or compassion for the hardship on their employees or care of pet parents/animals in the salon. read more

Since my dogs are on a specialties food, its hard to find at most stores. Bonnies barkery offers the food, but its unfortunately higher priced than some other valley stores. I know that bonnies also supports the local dog rescue that I foster which is awesome. I think they also offer grooming, but I haven't taken my dogs here for that. All in all I think they have a nice neighborhood pet specialty store but could lower the prices on the food. read more

Bonnie's Barkery Grooming Is The Best!! I have taken both my Lab and Yorkie/Maltese/Shihtzu here for years and have yet to be disappointed! After two traumatizing experiences at other groomers for my little one, I was hesitant to go to Bonnie's but I have not regretted it since, she loves it! The atmosphere is amazing, the dogs can all be around each other while the groomers are taking care of other dogs. They are only kenneled when they need to be and the groomers keep a card with their haircut type as well as phone numbers on file so they always know what to do! Groomers are all exceptionally nice, too! They always have snacks and treats on sale as well, my pups look forward to me picking up something extra for them on the way out. It is a bit pricier than some other groomers but for the experience and job well done, it is SO worth it! read more
