I felt disrespected and even afraid, treated like a subhuman. I am reluctant to have anything to do with an office that allows him to be with patients. "Interact" with would not be accurate, since he did not engage, merely opined, and not in an informative manner. He told me all the others were wrong, but not why, and not what was right. The pressure can be quite painful. She is always quick to determine the scope of the problem and apply as many solutions as it takes. I was going to have surgery and wanted to go back to my doctor at this practice but found that he had left the practice. I was then referred to see Dr Roeser. She used nasoendoscopy (a little camera used to look up your nose) to better see the condition of my septum. A process that takes 2 minutes in total. Not only she told me there was "nothing wrong" with my septum, her billing office had the audacity to charge my insurance almost $300 plus required $80 payment from me! I wrote a letter addressed to the doctor and got a call back from someone whose name was not disclosed to me basically asking "what do you want"? How unprofessional. I wrote a personal email to the doctor and some nameless person asked me what I wanted and during the conversation revealed to me that they had not discussed my inquiry with the doctor. After few weeks I received the same bill again. I called back this time I was given a different story by a "Sue". Doctor must know about it but decided to have them charge me anyway. She wasn't very confident in this information either. But she was confident enough to threaten me with collections. Here I am asking doctor how come she misdiagnoses me while 3 other doctors say otherwise. I am courteously asking in writing to her to have her office at least waive the frivolous charge and all I get is "we will send it to collections" and not a word from the doctor. Mind you I have had nasodescopy before and never been charged extra like I have been at this office. Also as a note I had a surgery recently on the septum that she found "nothing wrong" with. It is my opinion that this doctor is careless or inexperienced. Her billing office uses predatory billing methods to scrape every little penny they can get from their customers! Yes, you are a customer to these people not a patient. "Buyers" beware.

Dr. Nsouli is a very kind, caring person, who comes across as someone who knows what he's doing without coming off as arrogant. I've had severe allergies all my life, and Dr. Nsouli is the fourth one I've seen over the past twenty years. He's definitely been one of the top two, mostly because he realized that one reason why I have trouble staying awake (something I thought was completely irrelevant but he asked about it anyway) was because the allergy medication I was currently taking made me sleepy. No other doctor I've seen ever made this connection. When you have to get refills on your allergy serum, you always meet up with a nurse practitioner, not Dr. Nsouli himself. I imagine this is standard protocol, since the good Dr.'s time is valuable and you're not going because of a problem, you just need a refill on meds.

He was able to diagnose the issue and confirm with tests. He performed a septoplasty - zero complications and easily the simplest recovery I've ever had after a procedure (and I've had quite a few). I was thoroughly impressed with his professionalism and quality of care. If I ever have any ENT issues in the future, I will certainly reach out to Dr. Comstock, as well as recommend him to anyone in need.

He was clear about the side effects the surgery could cause. Based on the information provided, I decided he was a good option to perform my surgery. However, after the surgery, I expressed a concern that my scar was sticking to the skin underneath it. This concern was expressed at least 3 times in person, and even more times with calls to the office. The calls to the office usually required to me to follow up and call back to get a response. And the responses received both in person and via phone were nonchalant responses that showed little concern of the issues I had mentioned. I understand if the doctor was unsure of how to treat the issue, however, would have appreciated a referral to someone or somewhere that could have treated it. I've recently had a consult with a different surgeon and have found out that the scar may not have been closed layer by layer to prevent it sticking. So, it is recommended that I have a revision procedure to solve the sticking issue. What I would have wanted from Dr. Comstock was to address my concerns and provide solutions rather than nonchalant or no responses. I would not recommend Dr. Comstock as a surgeon based on the lack of assistance I received for my concerns and the lack of aftercare given after my procedure-which has resulting in me potentially having to get a correction procedure.

I've been to many ENT clinics over many years, but it's truly rare to find someone who is not only highly skilled but also genuinely caring. I've struggled for years with allergies, asthma, a deviated septum, and chronic sinus issues. Dr. Egan performed my surgery, and the results have been amazing. This was my first surgery, and I was honestly surprised by how little pain I experienced afterward. Even my family is more excited and relieved than I am because of how smoothly everything went. what really stood out to me was how kind and compassionate he is - he treats his patients with such warmth, alomost like family. I guess I picked him because he had numerous accolades and titles and it seemed he was the chief of some advanced ENT society. Well, I was wrong. He used a light to look in my ears and my nose, and used a little mirror to look in my throat. I brought him a copy of a film of a sinus cat scan, and also some medical history (last endoscopy which diagnosed esophagitis and sinusitis) in 2019. He sort of shrugged his shoulders, said my issues were complex, and to see a doctor of rheumatology. Apparently this dude is more a facial plastic surgeon than an ENT doctor. He actually said some of my sinus issues could be due to implant rejection. WHAT????? He also made a comment about my youthful facial appearance. Another insinuation, I suppose. BTW- I've found seeing doctors during the COVID paranoia causes the patient to receive less quality care. TJB.
