I needed a couple of items and mom needed a few too. We were able to locate everything easily enough. One young lady asked if we needed help and promptly pointed us in the right direction. The checkout clerk was kind and explained the gift card charges and balance (without being asked). The store was clean (laundry /cleaning, cooking utensils, and makeup areas) in the areas we visited. There are so many areas (especially clothing) that look like a tornado just blew through the store. T-shirts littered randomly on shelves with no rhyme or reason. Clearance sections ordered by size or discount but not really. Main reason it's not getting one star is that I've had to come here a few times to pick up online orders and have had no issues. Parking lot is a whole different story. Aggressive suburbia housewives that have no clue how to stop at the stop signs or even parking within their spot. Do yourself a favor and park far away to limit the odds of a car accident. Or even better park at another Target and shop there instead. read more

I came here the other day to do some shopping for school supplies. Except for the parking situation (which is a complete nightmare), this is a great Target location. Usually we wait a couple of weeks before school starts to buy our kids' school supplies. By then, our local store is completely sold out of everything we need. This year I decided to buy everything for school at a different Target. Pleasantly surprised, the store was so well-stocked. We bought all the things we needed in one trip! This store was also very clean, with large aisles. The also staff seemed nice here. I really like the home section at this location. They had such a great selection of beautiful home decor items. The only serious downside here is the parking situation. There's just not enough parking, and the parking spots here are way too tiny. Finding parking ends up being a draining experience. We probably won't come here often, but we'll have to stop by here when we need school supplies once a year! read more

I give this Target (minus 5) because I had my special-needs, toddler (my grandson) in the cart. He dropped some corn chips on the floor the sales person working the self check out line picked them up off the floor and gave them to him. He is a toddler he is going to put them back in his mouth. And when I asked her not to do that, there was no ma'am I'm sorry I wasn't thinking or anything like that. She looked at me like I was crazy for asking her not to infect my toddler with dirt, germs possible bacteria from a public floor. She ended up calling Morgan, her manager and Morgan apologized but the woman never opened her mouth to say one word as if I was beneath her or she apparently needs some training. This event happened on May 2nd at 5:40 pm at the Target at 26932 La Paz in Aliso Viejo. I do not remember the name of the person working at the self serve checkout line, but she was blonde, thin and with long hair. But I will address it with the district manager, because that was not OK!! P.S. I had a great experience at drive up today. I picked up my order but an item was missing. An employee, Martin H. helped me and went to remedy the issue. He came back, went and picked the item himself and brought it out and apologized again and I received a gift card for my inconvenience. It wasn't an inconvenience at all but I'm glad it happened, Martin was so kind and friendly and it's just an example of how customer service is so important. read more

This is our favorite Target to shop, in our area. Their customer service is great, from the cashier's like John or Bailey, to the stockers like An. Anytime I need something I can ask and always get help or, get a reasonable explanation for why items are not on shelf. The only complaint I have is with the pharmacy staff, who seem less eager to help. (I understand that they are a sub contract, so I won't fault Target for this). But, I will say that the parking can be a drag. Just find a spot out in the lot and get your steps in haha. read more

I live close to this specific Target so this is the location I usually go to and one time I was accused of buying alcohol on the self checkout by this employee that still works there. They were water bottles and I even showed her and she looked at me and scoffed. That was kind of rude of her to assume that. I obviously know the rules theres First of all, I'm not stupid I wouldn't even dare to attempt to buy it since i'm not of age. Anyways, she called me out and people turned their heads at me and I felt quite embarrassed. She has dark colored shoulder length hair, asian descent and she always gives me dirty looks. Usually, I walk in with a baby stroller because my baby is still little and cannot sit on her own yet to use a cart so the easy way for me to shop is to put everything in the stroller basket. Common sense right? I can't push a cart and a stroller at the same time..And the same lady gives me looks as i'm checking out and gets real close to me to make sure I am scanning everything. There's a camera literally on my face and a scanner as you walk out why would I even attempt to do that? My negative review last year focused on employees not wearing masks. I've been into this store a few times since then and it has improved a great deal. But the real reason for this update is an employee named Julia that I dealt with this morning. She was working the check out lane and from the minute I walked up, she was a breath of fresh air. It is so nice to meet a worker who is going out of their to be friendly and doing a great job, So many times these days, you're lucky if people ringing you up even say hi. And though it's a simple thing, her being so nice and so friendly made my day. Worst management ever. Bought an Apple device for my son's birthday in August 2020, that I found out was previously used and returned by someone else in 2018. After taking it to the Apple Store for repair under warranty, they told me the serial number had already been activated in 2018. I purchased it from the store, new in 2020 and paid full price!! I was told to go back to Target for a refund or exchange since the warranty was voided as the serial number showed the date as 2018, which is beyond the one year warranty. I dealt with Aaron, one of the worst managers I've ever dealt with. Explained my situation, provided my receipt, and asked for help repairing or replacing it since I receive a used device instead of new. He refused to help and could've cared less. He said I should have returned it within 15 days. What?? I was only informed the serial number was previously used only after I requested a repair that should have been under warranty. He didn't offer any solutions or suggestions and was so unsympathetic. I've shopped at this store for over 20 years. I will never buy electronics from this store again. What a scam!!! I no longer trust the merchandise to be in new condition. BUYER BEWARE!! read more

I love Target stores. It seems as though no matter where I go, the clientele mix is always the same! Mostly young females, majority Latina, with a few scattered older white patrons. It's so nice to walk into a store and know exactly where to find any given item, whether that store is in Laguna Hills, San Pedro, Aliso Viejo, or Roseville! The experience is always the same, and most of the time I find precisely what I want. Ok, it's anywhere from 2 to 10% more at Target, but that's another issue. Things are easy to find, you walk in, make the purchase, and walk out minutes later. Were this a Steinmart I'd probably linger awhile. Alas, it's just Target. Not inspiring. Not impressive. It just is...Target. Eventually I got over the fact that this cookie cutter of a retailer put my favorite store out of business, lo those many years ago. (Fedco). Most sloppy, disorganized, chaotic target I've ever been to. It's so bad that I decided to start using the "Drive Up" service so that I don't have to step inside this wretched store. It took them 45 minutes to come out and give me my drive up order... I called guest services about 20 minutes in to ask if someone was coming out and they said that they had nothing for me, even though I got a notice on my phone saying that my order is ready for pick up. They also took on a very disrespectful and testy tone for no reason. I called again about 40 minutes in and they told me that they didn't have one of the items that I ordered... even though the app told me that my order is ready for pick up. This was a majorly huge waste of my time. I was picking up tampons because I was having cramps and didn't want to get out of my car... they turned it into a nightmare. Sadly this was our local Target while living in Aliso Viejo. This branch seemed so run-down and dirty in comparison to the sparkly new stores I was used to while living in Hawaii located on Oahu and in Kailua-Kona. I was glad to see that they were working on some renovations of this store. It definitely needed new floors and a better layout. Unfortunately I have only been back once or twice since the renovations have been completed because I have since moved out of the area and now live within a 5-minute drive from a much nicer and newer branch. I have always been a big fan of Target. Target sells practically everything! They've got outdoor barbecue and garden supplies, furniture, home goods such as lighting fixtures, fans and organizational items, clothing for the whole family, kitchen, bath, bedding, electronics, baby supplies, groceries, and a huge toy department to name a few. I love how they tend to carry a lot of the better quality brands than Walmart. Plus they are always pretty well stocked and organized. I've also had much better customer service experiences with the Target staff vs Kmart or Walmart. Then why such low stars? This branch felt old to me and had definitely seen better days. Plus the parking lot is always a nightmare, especially during it's renovations. We always had to park by Stater Bros and walk over. There were times that we circled and saw how crazy the parking lot looked and just left to go to the other Target further down the road in Mission Viejo. If they somehow figure out how to reconfigure their parking lot and add more stalls, then we'll definitely consider coming back whenever we're in the area. read more

I went in today intending to buy a couple of binders and divider tabs. I figured I would spend $20 and some change. It turned out they had so many great discounts and special offers that I ended up spending $65 on the binders and some beauty products and cute tops. How do they do that? You walking in prepared to buy 4 items and then you buy 10. No wonder Target makes so much money. Here are some tips for shopping at Target: 1) Write a list of what you intend to buy before visiting. 2) Take a look at their in-store circular when you get there. 3) Decide which offers and sales are good values. 4) Ascertain whether you really need the sale items or if the purchases are just impulse buys. Act accordingly. 5) Unless you're in the position to spend lots of money, decline their credit card and debit card offers. Remember that Target was hacked severely last year and important information was stolen. I don't have a Target credit card or debit card. It just isn't worth it to me. It seems best to pay in cash here. After all, do you really want them to get your information? It looks like there's going to be a return visit to this location. 2016 Yelp 100 Challenge 34/100 This Target is conveniently located and always clean and not as packed as some of the other locations. I had a return of an iPad after Christmas and the line was short and quick. I always feel bad returning an electronics item because they have to open it up, even it had never been opened. I guess the do it to make sure the expensive item is really in the box. The workers there are always nice and helpful. I remember asking for a specific artificial Christmas tree and an associate went in the back to check if they had a newer one. They gave me a nice discount since they only had the floor model and it looked great to me. They offered to help take it apart and box it, but I said I'd do it. The other great thing about this location is that they have self checkout registers. They're great when you're only picking up a few items, which I often do. It saves me a ton of time and is very convenient. read more

I enjoy this target! I sometimes have work meetings in the area so will stop by if I need anything. It's clean every time I've been here. The employees are never really seen. Not that I've ever needed help but I never see any walking around the store so not sure what that's all about. Also, this location does not sell alchie!!! Weird!!!! I'm not sure why but it's super inconvenient if that's what you're looking for. It is in a shopping center with a Stater Bros but who has time to store hop if you're in a rush?! So just FYI everyone! This is a Target that has seen better days. The parking is tiny and busy on the weekends. But I still go here for most home essentials and toiletries. It's easy to get lost in Target. There are so many aisles of products to wade through to justify whether or not you can really live without it. If you bring your own shopping bag in (yay for Yelp bags!) then you will get $0.05 off your purchase. If you have a Target credit card, then you'll get 5% off your purchase. See how that works? It's a little on the older end compared to other locations but I still like it enough to go when I'm in the area and need something. They have the pretty standard offering for a Target location. The building itself is set-up oddly as far as parking and getting into / out of the store. All of the foot traffic has to cross the street right at the busiest area and the entrance crosses in front of the exit, so it's always a little awkward at this area. Inside, the store is pretty decently organized. It has the regular stuff you'd expect to find. Grocery section is decent, but it definitely doesn't offer the variety of Super Targets...need to find one of those here still. Well... Came back for the holiday ornaments. I had my card full and walked down one isle to look for something and when I returned in less that 3 minutes, my cart was gone. As I went to look for my cart, I noticed an employee putting things I had picked back in their locations. This was irritating since half my chosen things were put back. It took me another 20-30 minutes to locate half the things. I guess I ended up saving because there was a sale and the guy had returned some items that I wasn't able to find again. Moving to RSM, this is the closest Target in my area and it really sucks! This Target needs some remodeling, it's not like the new remodeled Target that has produce. Had a particularly frustrating experience with this store. In looking for a specific type of stationery, I saw on Target's website that this location had that product in stock. I then went to the store, searched the office supplies aisles, and couldn't find it. After going to the information area, the worker (who was very sweet and helpful) saw that three boxes of the paper I needed were in stock and stated the aisle. Another employee said that that aisle was actually at the back of the store near the electronics. Upon walking back there, I found that the aisle she referred to was exactly in the area I had already searched, and after going back once more to make sure I wasn't crazy, I gave up and just left. I get that they're super busy, but customer-service wise, I would have appreciated someone just checking that aisle or the stockroom instead of sending me on a wild goose chase. read more

I don't think there's every been a time that I walked into Target and ONLY purchased what I came there for. They suck you in with all of their amazing goodies. One of the best perks of Target is their $1 bins in the front of the store. You can find some really fun and festive items in there. Target has higher prices for most of their items that you can find cheaper at Walmart, but I really enjoy the price and quality of the clothes that you can find at Target. If you have time beforehand you can save a lot of money by using the Target app and checking out the weekly ad and coupons. read more

I just want to warn everyone that I have been buying Target gift cards from Target in the past month. None of the cards that I purchased had any money on them. I bought a few for my family members and when they went to spend it there was no money on them. I contacted target and they blew me off so I am going to report them to BBB and open a claim. This is not acceptable. They expect you to just sit back and say no problem. Shame on them because they sell it so they should stand behind it. On two different occasions he wouldn't fill prescriptions I had for odd reasons. I've never had an interaction with a pharmacist like this. Very strange.
