Five Below is one of my favorite stores and I especially love the Aliso Viejo location. This location is bright, clean and very well stocked. There is always ample parking and the staff is always very nice and helpful. I love that everything in here is very affordable and you often find things that would easily be priced at $20 or more at big box retailers only priced at $5 here. I am the room parent for my son's class in elementary school and I am able to save a lot of money for our class budget buying basketball ball, soccer ball and playground equipment from here vs other places. It's also a great place to pick up gifts as they have beauty products, toys, novelty items, squishmallows, etc., for a very cheap price but not sacrificing on quality. read more

You can find a lot of Christmas gifts for kids and adults at affordable prices. Some sections of the store are well organized and themed by movie or cartoon. Some sections of the store are not organized. They are messy, but what can you expect during the Christmas season when everyone leaves everything everywhere. The service is excellent. Especially when this one is in the same center as a dollar tree and tj maxx, so I get most random items at those stores instead. Guadalupe helped me do self check out and she's so sweet. I browsed and then bought some candy. I love Haribo gummy bears and they are only $1.50'per bag Everything is $5 and under!! I love finding gems at Five Below! My favs are the t shirts, pool floaties (seriously so cute & great quality), and sunglasses. I like to think of it as the elevated dollar store - you can find seasonal items, party supplies, home decor, clothes, shoes, beauty products, tech things, fitness accessories, desk/school supplies, toys, snacks, pet stuff, and literally so much more. I just came in was checked out by an older blonde lady and she scanned one of my items 3 times and didn't scan another one of my items. I could have easily done it myself I don't know if she thought I was going to steal or something because everyone else was scanning their items by themselves BUT if you're going to ring me out at least do it right. i've been going here for years and as u may know there is a manger, she is a dirty fluffy blonde hair older lady. she isn't nice at all it's very sad that you can be the manger and be that mean you want people come into ur store not just loving the stuff but the customer service. not just me but many others agree. she follows many people around for no reason she's always accusing kids of stealing when there just shopping. she has something against e bikers, which i'm sure a lot of adults to but they just come in to look and leave and if they do cause something then yes that's a issue but there is no reason to threatened to call the cops or kick them out, or cuss at them because they are such known as a part of e "bikers" like no there kids yes they may act a fool sometimes but you have to understand as a manger/adult there kids and will act like a fool. yes they should have respect. but no you shouldn't go out of ur way to cuss them out and threaten them. this is sad because the whole entire Aliso Viejo could agree that she needs to be a better manger and stop threatening people and kicking them out for no reason! read more

Felt very unwelcomed and the blonde lady working wouldnt let me use the restroom because "its for customers only" when i was a customer.

I don't have to mention this but I will. Whatever you need for school, personal hygiene, or arts and crafts, they have it here. The snacks and candy isle alone will save you a ton of money. It's just also a great place for the kids to go shopping for little things they love. If you need anything for your phone, case or recharging cord, it's here. Sound base speakers or headphones? Wow! My new favorite store to buy stuff. Yes...a bunch of stuff! But the prices are so fun and the items are fun too. If you need cheap stuff come here. They have loads of T-shirt's, socks, workout clothes, craft supplies, makeup, kitchen supplies, etc. I'm not everything is the highest quality but it sure is fun. I got a fun emoji hat, a fun graphic T-shirt, and bought my daughter some yoga pants and an athletic bra. All for $5/ apiece. The hat is warm and the shirt is funny. When I was at check out, I was putting my card away and the cashier started selecting things for me. She choose for me to get a receipt which i didn't want one and she gave a full star rating for themselves. Also, the entire time she stood next to me. I pulled out my debit card and switched to my credit card because she also was writing something down on the clip board the entire time as well. I assume she was getting a description of me or assumed i was there to steal. Don't know. This is a fun store where everything is $5 and under. A lot of the items I would purchase were $5. I'm a huge fan of the dollar tree, so I'm kind of spoiled by being able to get so many things there for a dollar... but this will definitely be my second go to if I can't find something. They won't let any kids in and the experience is just horrible so don't come here because the place is dirty and they keep keep getting raided by E kids and this place is just not good. The quality isn't good There's dust everywhere and the service is really bad. I love this store. Every time I've been in here the clerks are so friendly and helpful. I needed to get some cheapie headphones for my teen niece and the clerk pointed me to the pair that he thought was the best. The stock turns over fast here so there is are always new items every time you come in. Most things are $5.00 or lower but they have started to carry some higher priced items. The last time I was here I stocked up on chargers for my phones, chargers for my iPad, portable power chargers, cables and all of those things you don't want to be out of when the one you you are using decides to go bad. They last a decent amount of time so I think the value is pretty good for the low price. Five Below also carries makeup, tee shirts, seasonal items like pool toys in the summer and Christmas items during the Christmas season, books, stationary items and other fun things. the manager or the cashier of the store was rude and incompetent, without even welcoming she just said we cant go with drinks. then she let us in but was watching us all the time after. when my friend tried to test a basketball, she immediately came and told us to leave?? how are we supposed to test the ball?? i think that she would not act like this if we werent teenagers, and we were not even goofing around or anything. the same lady with a heavy accent told us to "pay for our stuff and leave" and that "they are too busy for this" when the only thibg we did was just bounce the ball like 5 times. this is strabge vecause there were other adults and she wasnt as attentive. honestly, it makes such a bad impression we dont want to go there anywhere we also never had this problem before. none of the other employees said anything so it sound like she was the problem. read more

Five Below? What is this place! At first I thought it was another ice cream nitro infused place! Nope! It's a cool store where everything is 5 bucks or under!!! Located at the Aliso Town Center where most of the locals shop. So it's located in a shopping center in the heart of Aliso Viejo. There are markets here like Trader Joe's and Ralphs, Stadium Brewing Company, and other big chain fast foods places too and Movie Theater! Also known for their Grand Park where the city will hold events for the kids on Halloween, Spring Egg Hunting, 4th of July Concerts/fireworks, Winter Snow Events etc etc. The addition of this store is great! Especially for the school age kids for fun school supplies, board games, seasonal toys (hula hoops, bubbles, pool toys, beach chairs). What about the adults! Well you might just find your favorite team mugs here! I got my husband a replacement​ coffee mug, his favorite hockey team LA Kings! Oh and the 5buck shirts! Oh you know those fun shirts? They have them here! Oh and they also have StarWars Shirts! Great place for the college students as well! Fun finds for decorating their dorms too! So I've heard the rumors that it's like a fancy Dollar tree, 99cents store, or Daiso. Not really... It's a different set up. You will find more Disney characters, icons, and other fun things. Customer service is way better here! Helpful, kind, and you can tell they are trained to interact with their customers. Looks like they are happy to be here. Even the tall guy in charge was very interactive. Just be aware, if you are like me... It's very easy to fill that rolling baskets in there. Put a budget on yourself before entering. It would have been a perfect 5/5 stars, but be a smart shopper. Know your prices before thinking your are getting a good deal here. Cliff Organic Kids Bar were being sold for $1.99 when you can get it at Trader Joe's for 79cents. Another points off... Most of the clothes for the ladies are for extra small jr. petite ladies.... :( The size run small for the ladies! Five below!! store looks inviting. I just wanted to scan through the stuff they got. I like the stationary sections and the toy section the most. Cosmetics I really haven't tried any from Dollar stores. I bought badminton rackets so we can have some fun when my cousin are down. One storage bin, white board for my monthly bil chart. volleyball to have some beach fun and a hat. I found flip flops for $3 you can buy the same at Walmart for 99c. Service was good too. Really cool store full of useful and novelty items. It's like the all American version of Daiso...but more for novelty items versus home goods. I purchased two 6' beach umbrellas that were an absolute STEAL for $5. The same ones run for $20 at Target. You can also peruse their items online beforehand as well. I've been shopping at this store for years and I've never had any problems up until this employee started following me into every aisle, quite literally breathing down the side of my neck. I'd turn around and see her right there behind ne just glaring!! As someone who works in retail I could tell she was following me so closely because she thought I was Stealing so I tell my boyfriend, "I think this employee is following us because she thinks we're stealing" then she yells at me "IF YOU GUYS ARE GOING TO BE OPENING THE BOXES I AM GOING TO HAVE TO ASK YOU TO LEAVE" so I say "excuse me, the box my boyfriend is currently holding is closed?" And she just continued to yell at me "I KNOW YOU GUYS ARE STEALING I CAN GET YOU BANNED" I was completely shocked because I hadn't done anything wrong. She then proceeded to get her manager who seemed apologetic and told me "hey look I don't know what is going on but I am going to have to ask you to leave my employee told me you were taking back to her" I replied "how is standing up for myself talking back? I beg you please check your cameras because it's wrong to falsely accuse customers!!!" I filed a report and will most likely have to pursue legal action if I am fling to wrongfully banned for something I did not do. read more

Five Below rocks!!!! It's great to see they finally opened up locations here in California. When I lived on the east coast/ Midwest I always went to Five below. Everything priced $1-$5. The stuff is good quality. I usually purchase aux cords and fitness items. All pretty neat to have. The auxiliary cords from here last a long time as long as you don't beat it up. It seems to last longer than any cord I've owned in the past. I highly recommend this checking this place out. They have heaps of items. You can also find random T shirts. And they also have a candy section. A few Candies from the Millennials childhood. read more
