This had to be one of the nicest Target locations I have been to in a while, at least from the outside. I think it has to do with the area that it is in. It feels vibrant and from the outside it doesn't look like your typical Target. The biggest downfall to this location has to be the parking situation. Where you enter the garage to park at this location becomes a bottleneck instantly. Which that is a good indicator that it is well used, but it is just chaos when coming to park and leave this location. Once in the garage, good luck. Cars and people are everywhere and you need to be on your toes to make sure you are not in an accident or hit by a car. If you are lucky enough, you will find a spot near the a parking spot near the entrance. Once in the entrance take your pick to make it into the store, stairs, escalators, or elevator. Inside it is what you expect it to be. Typical set up of a Target. The way it was stocked though is not great. I was looking at items and was trying to figure out the prices, but with no item in the right spot I had to seek out a price check station. That's even if they had the items at all. Checking out was a bit of a nightmare. I opted for the self checkout. Honestly, I should have stood in line at a regular register. It went so slow because whoever was assigned to the area would disappear and anytime someone needed assistance, it took forever. read more

Not sure what's going on with the Markeplace. Watch the expiry dates! Brought home expired meat by accident, gross. I also witnessed the manager (Melissa?) speaking down to team members in the aisle. How awful the morale must be in the dumps. My Shipt shopper is awesome. She checks expiry dates. Unfortunately the bell peppers don't have one listed. So like the expired meat, I got moldy bell peppers. Mushrooms were also on my list, but they were expired, so those were a skip. Every other department is fine. However the Marketplace has gone downhill within the last few months. Too bad. read more

How, after I PAID for 2 items for pickup at 10:30am - that I get an email saying my items are "out of stock" two hours later?! Why do you charge people for nonexistent items? I'm advising people to be very careful with your payments using Target Circle Card. I think I experienced a scam where they didn't use the correct info I gave them for auto payment and then charged me late fees when the payment didn't go through . My bank told me they twice submitted my account info missing the first number for my checking account. I reported this to the Better Business Bureau and cancelled my Target Circle Card. I've used online payments frequently - and have never experienced a problem like this. When you call to complain, they purposely give you to someone who is difficult to hear with a noisy background. Since I was already in the area, I decided to stop in for a few items. From the outside, I thought this location was going to be exceptional. From the outside, this location appeared to have three levels, which seemed fascinating. However, once inside, it became apparent that two levels were nothing more than escalators leading to the third level, where Target was actually located. The service was good here. When I needed help finding something or had a question, there was always someone available to respond. Based on where this store is located, I expected it to be impeccable inside. I was astounded to observe such disarray in various aisles, as well as dirty floors in the main aisles. It was about 9:30 pm on a Friday, but I still expected more from Target and this location especially. read more

This is the messiest Target I've ever been to ... you can trash the Target experience because this is giving worst than Walmart ..... yes you will find targets products and layout but it's not a store you can spend hours in ..... stuff was everywhere .... On floors and not an employee in site cleaning up. I use the restroom they were clean. And my cashier who was deaf was awesome my daughter signs and he was very appreciative he could talk freely. read more

Was quite surprised at the condition of the Men's section early on a recent Sunday morning. I came here in search of new t-shirts, socks, and underwear. What I found was a lack of cleaning from the previous shift, let's hope. Merchandise was just literally thrown around everywhere. Shortstaffed or not, there is no excuse for this cluster...(see attached photos). The service at the checkout lines was and is always superb. I have searched high and low for the Ninja Slushi. Drove an hour to Annapolis at 6am. Couldn't find it but it said in stock. Saw Petra and asked for help. Bottom Line: Not the most convenient location but if you hit it when its not busy, you can have a productive shopping trip. I love Target. Who doesn't? But the location of this particular store isn't great. It is located in the Annapolis Towne Centre which has some funky traffic patterns and can get busy, especially on the weekends. Fortunately, there is a parking garage attached to Target so there is always plenty of covered parking but you may have to walk a bit and sometimes getting in and out of the garage can be trick. Since its a bit of an effort to get parked, my once-upon-a-time weekly visits to Target have been curtailed to once a month or less. Like most Targets, the Annapolis store is clean and bright and the layout seems to follow the general Target format. There is a Starbucks inside that always seems to be busy and right next to it is the classic Target snack bar. Service is usually adequate. The managers are super customer-friendly but other employees seem less enthusiastic. My go-to items are Target are Charles Wysocki puzzles, JR Watkins and Method liquid hand soap, Magnolia Home decor, pantry items, and various toiletries and cleaning supplies. read more

The different variety of the vinyls. I never seen this much in a target.This was one of the best targets I had visited ever in my life. When Im in Maryland again I would visit this first thing its a valuable target. They had so much Toys and a fruit section. I never something like this in a Target. Filthy dirty on 8.25.2024. Unacceptable. Looked like a tornado hit clothing, houseware, shoe department and office supplies. Bowie target is so much cleaner. There was trash cans overflowing, used baby diapers all over the ground, like a third world country and store. It unacceptable. Maybe they need signage in Spanish for the customers to understand you don't trash a store. People have to eventually clean it up! I couldn't find any store employees to ask what happened except a few cashiers which I said to my cashier how awful and she agreed. She said it's really getting bad! Guess with the open borders, merchants need bilateral instructions for a little shopping etiquette. People should not have to spend their money and endure filth! Hire more staff of put shopping directions up for bilingual customers. read more

I was I in the Annapolis Target on Sunday 12/15/24 @ 3:15 pm I went to the electronic department to purchase Beats Headphone I left Glen Burnie Location and they stated that I Headphones was at this location, so Theresa in the electronic department helped she said take the headphones off the counter because she was walking away, and she didn't want anyone to take them I was sitting next to the electronic department due to my illness I was unable to walk for a long period of time my husband went the restroom and was going to continue shopping. I heard Theresa pick up the phone and call security and said two AA male and female she stole the headphones, and he has a bunch of toys gave a full description of me and my husband she hung up the phone I stood up and said did you just call security on us when I'm sitting right here, and she proceeded walked away. I spoke with the manager who offered us a $20.00 gift card when I was in target with over $800.00 worth of stuff for my family, I left everything in the store. I shop at Target all the time and I never in my life been so humiliated. The manager never brought Theresa back over to us to apologize to me and husband. read more

This store used to be great, but is now a complete dump. The store floor is always strewn with trash and unshelved items. The stickers on the shelves never correspond to the items placed above them. The carts are filthy and often full of discarded trash; many are broken. I usually have to go through a couple before finding one that works. The Starbucks cafe has two tables with two chairs each, all of which need a good wipe down. The snack bar has been closed for forever according to staff, yet there is no sign indicating this. I waited for five minutes to buy a fountain drink. The cashiers nearest me both glanced over but neither said anything. I finally asked a cashier if anyone were working the counter and was told it is essentially abandoned despite the soda machines and lights being on. The only two positives are the location and covered parking. read more

Wow... this Target used to be decent but tonight was absolutely deplorable. Honestly felt unsafe for various reasons including shelves that looked ransacked with items haphazardly thrown everywhere, nauseous chemical odor throughout the store, zero staff on the floor - it felt like customers were practically left to run things themselves. Since this is our local Target I'd say I'm here once a week. The place is fine for a target, its a nice big store with all the usual stuff including grocery. The staff is nice enough and returns/exchanges are always smooth. However, it completely fails on stocking. There are only a few things a store needs to do to be a good version of a chain, and one of the big things is having what you're supposed to. We noticed this last year when we moved - we would find something on the app that says in stock in this store, then we would go there and it's not on the shelf. First times we thought it was a coincidence. Then we started asking employees and they didn't know either. Since then I've noticed shelves and products be completely out of stock for MONTHS. Products that show on the app as "in stock." It's to the point where we can't rely on the app being right anymore so we just hope for the best when we get there (which is often so we might as well check if they have things). If you're coming here explicitly for something that shows in stock on the app and you're making a special trip, I'd call ahead! read more

This is a pretty standard target. It's pretty large, there's a lot of home goods, clothes, and groceries. It is in a convenient location and there is really good parking with an entire deck devoted to target. This is the standard target for midshipmen from the naval Academy to come shop at! I've enjoyed my shopping experience here and would recommend it to target shoppers. read more

Man, I love Target, there isn't a week that goes by that I don't frequent this location. The big takeaways: -Ample covered parking -Awesome location -Friendly staff -In-store Starbucks The big distractors: -Traffic around Annapolis -Smaller store format -Limited stock All in all, this Target has everything you could possibly need or want in the store. There is ample parking awesome, awesome restaurants within walking distance, other stores nearby, and most importantly, it is Annapolis. read more

Store was beyond filthy. Trash cans were overflowing with trash all around them. Lines for both self and person check out were long. Took 20 minutes to check out. One person (stocking groceries) was the only helpful person. When trying to compliment the one person "front end manager" was less than appreciative. Main evening manager was at dinner. Shelves were not stocked. Hopefully Target will clean. read more

My second issue with target in the last two days. On day one, I put in a return and went to customer service. I waited at customer service for 20 minutes while the one person that was there was on the phone. Rather ironic considering the second issue. She very clearly saw me there and the line that started to build, but did not call for help until the phone conversation was done. On day two, I put in a drive up order and waited over 30 minutes. No one ever brought the order out even though I had put the notification through the app and put in my space number. After 40 minutes, I proceeded towards the doors to the store to discover the items that I paid for in a cart unattended. I tried calling the store as well and no one ever picked up. read more

We were in the area and needed a specific item which we knew costs $13 at our local Target, about 40 miles from this Target. Parked in a garage about 1/4 away. Found the item and it was $24. I'm not kidding. Same item, almost twice as expensive. We won't be back. read more

I'm giving this store location a one star since I didn't receive a decent customer service. ( I wouldn't even call it that) I went to self-checkout and had issues with my gift card. Antonio ( name of the clerk) answered my question. So why am I giving them a one star? The "customer service" I received was below standard. Poster Frame Search ^_^ My boyfriend and I came here looking for poster frames to put on his wall. They only had a few poster frames left, which was disappointing and over priced in my opinion. We did not get the poster frame unfortunately due to low inventory. We went to the electronic section to find my mother a portable USB to take to work. They had one left that was in my price range 8.99 for a 8GB. I guess that's reasonable but I could have found a cheaper one on Amazon lol however, I was in a hurry. This location is very different from other locations, they have a garage underneath the Target which is free, you have to go up two escalators if your feeling lazy, they also have steps as well. I can't speak on the customer service inside of target thus, using the self checkout. I can speak on the customer service at Starbucks which was excellent, I love Starbucks it keeps me going man :) read more

I went in to buy a mop and vacuum and was followed thru the store by security. Went to self checkout as the regular lines were long and security told self checkout lady to watch me loudly as I was quote on quote "a theft". The whole experience disgusted me as I worked at target for years prior and actually like the store. They then stared at my screen as I paid and then told other employees as I was leaving " he ain't steal cause I was there". The whole experience seemed as racial profiling because a young black man was buying a mildly expensive vacuum. I'll rather just go to the target by my house then ever stop by this target. Heaven. Everything you could ever need is to be found inside and at a reasonable price. Aaaand, just when it couldn't get any better, there's a Starbucks inside. Give me a choice between Target and Walmart and I'll choose Target any day. Guess that's why we don't have a Walmart in our town. They have everything I needed to first stock the basics in my home.
