Honestly, I stand by everything said in my original review, however in recent months for whatever reason staff has been so incredibly rude and uninterested in being helpful. Like to the tune of watching you struggle at self check out and just not doing anything to help. Not being able to answer any questions (even like basic product knowledge), and just unfriendliness in general. The dollar section often doesn't have what other locations are stocking and is typically sold out of what they do have. There has been an uptick in low stock, where I will place a pick up order and it gets canceled as well as a lot of broken or damaged merchandise including routinely broken glass, pottery, and mirrors. I had an incident recently, when I cut my hand on a broken piece of mirror that I was moving away from the edge (because kids touch thing they shouldn't and that's not safe) and the teenager who was the first person I found basically was like "not my problem" and actually directed me to where I could buy bandaids...I had to explain to her why it in fact was her and her manager's problem and asked for a first aid kit. She pulled a mashed up bandaid from her jeans pocket and rather than waiting for her to grab the manager, I left pretty pissed off by the interaction (still bleeding, but I keep a small first aid kit in my car that has pray peroxide and bandaids of all sizes) I get she was probably a kid doing a boring summer job but this seemed like a pretty common knowledge station that any retail location should be educating their staff on during training. If Target isn't, same on them. This was a minor issue but it would have been really bad (especially when broken glass and small children are involved) It's a shame because for general items this is my closest location by far and they had been steadily getting better but it seems to be tanking lately. So I am still driving into the city for most Target run's to avoid this location. Another note, Fitting rooms are closed on my last four visits and the lights are off...could we be getting new fitting room FINALLY? Probably not but it would be great if we did. read more

Located on East West Connector at the Austell Road intersection sharing a massive shopping center with Lowes, Office Max, Chili's and a few other spots sits what I can only assume, is one of the last standing Target's that has yet to be remodeled or updated. This location still has the neon lights lining the walls, the customer service desk is a separate space at the front entrance, their CD/DVD section is larger than the grocery section and the Target Café is still visible, but currently closed and being used as storage. So, basically...everything you know and love about updated and/or new Target's you will not find here, including that Starbuck's coffee you always get before you hit the aisles. Service has never been an issue at this location, as the associates are always helpful, and the cashiers are always friendly and expeditious. While the service is solid Target service, the products and stock are off from surrounding Target's. Since they still have so much focus on past times such as large electronic and jewelry sections, they don't have the room to fully stock the other areas of the store such as pantry, personal items and clothing. Overall, this Target needs some help. I audibly sigh if I must go to this Target and do so only as a last resort. I love Target and will shop at the good, bad and/or ugly ones before hitting up a Walmart, but this location makes me pause and think on occasion. is this store closing? The store is practically empty. Half the refrigerators don't work. Stuff marked clearance doesn't ring up at the register so they make you pay a different price, and the employees are ext rude. If it's not closing, it probably should. read more

This Target is located in the East West Commons shopping center off of Austell Road. Nearby businesses includes a Petsmart, Party city, Five Guys, TJ Maxx and Great Clips. Across the street there is a Walgreens, O'Charley's, Red Lobster, and a BP Gas Station. The store itself isn't too bad. It doesn't have a Starbucks or Pizza Hut as some of the Targets now have in them. This one does have a small eatery area where they sell street snacks such as popcorn, cookies, hot dogs and nachos. The aisles were clutter free and the shelves were well stocked. I didn't have any problems finding the items I was looking for...was able to get in, pay for item and check out was a breeze. Pretty good experience. The customer service is pretty good. The only person I noticed needs to be removed from customer service is a person who was in the electronics. He was on the phone and got angry because someone asked him if Target sold Iphones more than once. All around good experience so far. read more

This target needs a remodel...badly! Zero fresh produce and lacking in the entire grocery department. Even the cosmetic and self-care items are missing all the options. The clothing section was well stocked. Friendly staff.. Clean and organized but have absolutely nothing I need compared to the larger Target I use to live to. Today, during my trip to target, it started off, pleasant with one of the target employees at guest services. She provided impeccable customer service as she assisted me with a return purchase that was made via my baby registry. Although the return presented some challenges, she was able to assist me with a successful return. However the end of my shopping experience was not as pleasant. Once I was done with my shopping experience, I went to self check out. While waiting in the self checkout line, there was a skinny black lady with glasses, who noticed how long the line was and she stepped right into assist customers. I cannot say that about the lady that was in the self check out area. As I proceeded to the 2nd self check out, I parked my cart directly in front of one of your target employees. She was a heavier black lady with black and red curls. I really wish I would've caught her name so that I could further speak to her customer service or lack there of that she provided while I was checking out. I had planned on doing two separate transactions. She questioned me and asked "Are you doing two different transactions?" I replied, "yes." She stated that "well you can't put anything in the cart while you're still checking out." I honored whatever she said, however, I know that I have never experienced that before. I've been in many stores where I had to do two different transactions in the self checkout lane while the employee or the self checkout guide is there and they've never questioned me the way I was question today. I proceeded with my purchases. As I finished with my purchases, she said, "I'm not trying to be funny, but I need to check in this bag." The bag she was referring to was a cooler bag that I had just finished purchasing. I wish I would've requested for a manger right then. This experience made me feel very uncomfortable,and I felt harassed. This was very embarrassing, and I feel like I was racially profiled. Man! Target got it going on. I like this one because of the old school Kmart cafeteria that they have in there. Always friendly service. Convenient location, easily accessible, always has parking. Clean! Always has some great brands. I have used the app to pickup some items at the counter. Bagged and ready for me to go. I bought a TV from Target, not exactly this location, a couple of years ago. Very affordable. I know this has nothing to do with the store other than the name of the company, but I love their commercials. I have a minors in marketing and they always get my attention which is what a good marketing ad should do. read more

I love love love Target...this one is probably one of my least favorites and maybe because it's in close proximity to my house. It's not that its unclean or anything drastic, its the fact that they are always out of the items I want to buy. I find myself going to other Target stores further away...which essentially could mean trouble because this chick does not know what the word budget means. On this particular visit I actually found a couple of items on clearance so i thought I was doing something. I got two summer shirts that I can put either jeans or leggings with next year (of course) but I loved them so I thought..for $8 (she winning). Anyway, I moved on and I usually spend the most time in the book section. Yes, she is an undercover nerd. I was looking for the Gabrielle Union book in particular and what do you know...they were out. I opted to download the book instead. Not mad, still a great read. I digress, anyway, I took photos of other books I want to read in the near future and headed to the aisle with the laundry detergent (the real reason I came into the store, go figure). Anyway, I found what I was looking for...can I get a Hallelujah! Lol, I didn't do too much damage this visit but yeah, this visit was cool. Went to Target after a 10 hour shift to pick up two bottles of Nail polish. There were,only,two lanes open so I got into the closest one. The cashier was something like evaligene. I don't know. Blind fury affects my memory. Anyway, there was a couple in front of me trying to use an app for reward points or coupons or something and the cashier was trying to get it to work. She spent several minutes telling them how to do it once they got home and then coming back,to the store to redeem them? All the meanwhile I'm just standing in line with these two bottles of nail polish. I work retail so I know I have to be patient but it came to a point where it just became excessive and inconsiderate for the line building up behind me. She sees the line forming and calls for back up..awesome, maybe I can get home now, but alas. All the people behind me rushed the new line so I now make a decision to stay in my current line rather than move next door and have 4 people ahead of me (first world problems) I overhead the customer telling the cashier she didn't want to hold the line up. The cashier then looks at me and says. "Ma'am you can go ahead and move into that line." When I look to see which line she's talking about, it's the cashier that just opened with a queue of 4 in it. As I turned back she shut off her light and told her customer to take her time. Im angry. I'm livid. But I'm also tired. And on another day I would have stood up for myself but that day was not that day. I moved and just moped. After about 2 minutes the old cashier turned her light back on and started helping customers again. She didn't want to be rude to her current customers but felt it was ok to be rude to me. I mean...I can't even think of a situation, where I thought this obliviousness would be ok. Luckily a minute later another cashier opened up and rang me out. read more

Truly the worst Target that I have EVER been too. This particular location is outdated to the max with equally horrible lighting and organization. I stopped here with my mother and sister to pick up some nursing bras for her after her recent delivery. While they did have what she was looking for, the selection was quite poor compared to other locations that I have been to. Since I don't live in the area, I am sure that I will never return this store. Quite simply, I choose to shop at Target for the lovely atmosphere that they have compared to Walmart. I hate the way this store is set up! If it's not cleaning supplies, pull ups, or food stuff that's on sale I don't come here. I prefer target in buckhead or Atlantic station. At least with Atlantic Station having a some what ghetto staff they give good customer service. This location is horrible. It is 10:30 on a Sunday morning. The store is very messy the bathroom looks like it hasn't been cleaned since yesterday with toilet paper on the floor in two stalls. I saw one employee as I walked through the entire store. Then I got to the register and there were 7 people in line with only self checkouts open. Two people had issues and nobody around to help. They had to go find someone to help!!! UGH i don't want to go to Walmart, but if this is how Target is now, I may have to read more

I used to love shopping at Target, but this place was depressing! First of all, there were no shopping carts, so right away I am mentally streamlining my purchase to fit into a small basket. Then, I had a hard time finding the toothpaste aisle - I don't know, maybe they moved the merchandise around. The lines are always long at this particular store, so I wasn't surprised by that. I did end up discovering a shorter line, but the kicker is that the cashier had her phone on the register and was checking it while I was using my debit card. Target have inadequate toddlers products. I went there and they don't even have those supper thick toddler potty training pants, plastic pants and nice toddler T shirts. This store is poorly organized you can't even find any toddler underwear like socks, thick panties and 2T-3T-shirt's. They only have baby's stuff organized. read more

I live 10 minutes from this Target, and it's the location that I frequently go to the most. I'm more of a Target girl than a Walmart shopaholic, and although Walmart can have lower prices at times, I'm still partial to Target, something about Walmart irks me... The employees are always friendly here and I've never had a bad customer service experience. The bathrooms are a whole lot cleaner than the Walmart I go to ( I'll hold my pee before I use another Walmart's bathroom again, especially at the East-West Connector location ) and for those who build up a hunger while shopping, the food court's selection is decent, and they have the best popcorn, hands down. FYI: for you makeup mavens like myself, check out the beauty section. Target sells the ELF cosmetics brand ( eyes.lips.face. ). ELF sells everything from makeup brushes, eyeshadows, and lip glosses, to blushes, blotting papers, and and lip sticks, all starting off at $1. The store is OK for an older Target, but the pharmacy staff is the absolute best.

The lady that worked at the register today sucked majorly. She first rung the most expensive item twice and didn't even know how to give the money back to me and I had to go to customer service. The lady then charged us for two items and didn't even put one in the bag. Do not even get me started on the people stocking the shelves because they do not check expiration dates on any of the ibuprofens or the almond milk that was up over two months ago. ok, i got mixed feelings about the target. on the one hand, they wiped out all the richways in this area, which were the best department stores (even better than there rivals at the time, the kmarts). on the other hand, they do sell some good stuff here. its gonna be more expensive than walmart, but sometimes its better stuff. i have mostly in mind the toilet paper and toothpaste isles, where walmart could use some work. target can be pretty expensive, though, so watch out. read more

The Austell E.W. Connector store...customer service is non-existent via phone. I called to make sure they have the refill canisters for soda stream. I'm 30 minutes in total of three phone calls. Also on another phone with the corporate office this is so ridiculous and I thought Walmart was bad. read more

We will no longer be going to this Target. My husband and I have been solicited for money in the parking lot as well as inside the store 4 of the last 5 times weve been there. There are frequently only one or two checkout lanes open and associates have been rude at checkout or absent in the store altogether. read more

This Target is incredibly disappointing. I wish I could say it's been just once, twice, even three or four times that I have been there and they have been completely out of an item I was looking for (whether it's baby formula, lotion, bottle liners, etc, etc). What is worse is that it ALWAYS tells me the item is available in store at this location when I check on line, and time after time I arrive and it's "missing". I had one clerk tell me after looking and item up herself "huh, it says we have 8...guess they just got messed up and never put onto the shelves...or maybe they were stolen." So sad! I have also been disgusted on more than 1 occasion at employee behavior at this location. Last time I was in (and I am KICKING myself for not going straight to customer service with this), there was an elderly lady trying to get in line to check out. Three...THREE clerks were gathered together talking in the self checkout line and when the elderly lady approached one girl (completely irritated that her conversation was interrupted), loudly barked "MA'AM...there is NO other line open, only the self checkout line". When the lady asked if someone could please help her because (even though it was completely obvious) she was elderly and handicapped, the girl said "MA'AM it's SELF checkout." The lady then stated "But I don't know how to use these computers and don't feel comfortable..." at which point the clerk then HELD UP HER HAND...LAUGHED and said "FINE...but you are going to have to wait a few minutes before I can help" and RETURNED TO HER CONVERSATION! The elderly lady left her cart there and said "I just needed a little help" and walked out. I stood there in disbelief. I was mid order and tried to holler after the elderly lady and tell her I would help her but she kept walking (probably mortified at the way she was treated!). When I turned around and looked at the clerk she was still laughing and said "Some people just don't even understand..." I took all of my self control not to say "...you clearly do not understand customer service OR human decency!" Instead I shook my head and left. I called corporate from my car...but ended up connected with someone in another country. I am not sure I will EVER be back to this location. Disgusting behavior by the staff and time after time I visit...they are poorly stocked and out of what I need. So sad. read more

Very convenient Target location! it's in the middle of a pretty good shopping center. The store is clean and organized. The staff was for the most part helpful and nice. I use to love Target, however my most recent experience was a bad one. I just moved into a new home and was not familiar with the area completely however I need lots of things for my home. A patio set, curtains, bed spreads, you understand right? New home new items. So after i googled Walmart it was about 2 miles further then Target so I choose Target. I went there Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I spent $450 on Friday and another $950 on Saturday then $600 on Sunday. I bought a new 60 inch TV, a couple of smaller TV's, cleaning supplies, accent items to name a few. Well the first two days went well however the Sunday was not great. I went in looking for curtains and mirrors but ended up also buying patio furniture . I was excited because I really liked what I had gotten. I need 3 mirrors but I the Target I was going to only had 2 so they sent me to the next close Target to get the other mirror. I figured I would see if all prices were the same and maybe buy other items. So I get to the other Target after I just spent the $600 at the first one and yes they had items that the other target did not have. So I wanted to return the items I just bought from the other location and buy them from this one. Well this is where the trouble starts. I went to my car and grab the curtains and chairs that I just bought so that I can return the and get re-buy them at this location. After standing in the line and finally getting the counter the lady starts the return process. It was over $400 in items because I bought a lot of curtains, however she placed all items in the system and told me that the money would have to be returned to my debt card. I agreed that was fine. She then says give my one second and walks away. There are several people behind me waiting to return items so we all wondered why she walked away. She had returned everything we just needed to sign and have the money returned. In walks another employee who says they cannot provide me the money for my items because (their store would take the hit). I did not understand what that meant seeing as though Target is a company owned by Target. Of course I asked them to explain to me what they meant. She could not. So I asked for cooperates number and they both said they do not know the number. Ha........... You do not know the number????? That is fine. I found the number online before I had to put all the items back in my cart and take them to my car. I called cooperate who was not any help. I drove back to the other Target and returned ALL the items I just bought. I felt embarrassed and not valued as a customer. Even the other customers could not understand what the problem was. I showed them my card (Banking card) that I used and my ID. I explained that I was going to buy more item and yet I was not treated fairly. I decided that I will go the extra 2 miles to Walmart.
