This Five Below is located in a large plaza with plenty of parking. It was an extremely tidy and quiet area, even on a Saturday afternoon. When I walked up to the door, I was surprised to see that they were actually noted as the 1,500th store and only recently opened - how cool! All Five Below locations have the same flow and I'm not mad at it. This one was stocked quite well, especially for the holiday season. As well as being quite tidy. They had a great selection of seasonal decor, candies, stocking stuffers and anything else I feel like one could ask for. Beyond their holiday options, the other departments were also stocked to the brim. I love how Five Below has upgraded some of their departments like their home decor, although I don't love that they aren't well, $5 or below, lol. Since I didn't really go into the store with a list or plan in mind, I didn't go crazy but walked out with a shiny gold plastic tree that goes along with my Christmas decor and a few of their cute screen printed tees that are always my favorites. There weren't many sales associates on the floor but I don't think they need them as the store kinda speaks for itself, smart way to save on costs. I questioned her, she once again barked at me and told me to complain to the manager. I asked clearly "what's the point of online purchase advertising that literally advertises skip the line?" The manager came over and also told me I had to go wait in the line. I walked out and called kohls and cancelled my order. I received an email that my order was cancelled. The following day I received an email "order was picked up". And I never got a refund. I had to once again call. I have a hunch employees often mark items as "picked up" when they have been there too long. And help themselves. Everything about this experience was dirty.

This Walmart is located at the corner of East West Connector and Floyd Road. It is the anchor of a small shopping complex that also features a Dollar Tree, shoe store, battery/bulbs store and a wing spot. Given the shopping center, parking is decent. The lot is not as large as other Walmart's but it gets it done. I have popped in here for several things over the years and have learned that this location is best to visit before 12:00 PM on Weekdays. Anytime after noon on weekdays and legit anytime on the weekends, this place is insane...so, I recommend you plan your trips here accordingly! Inventory has never been an issue at this location, as for the most part I always find what I am after. Service is hit and miss, just like any Walmart, however I usually receive better service during the AM hours...so just another reason to plan that trip at the right time. Overall, this is your standard Walmart. There is nothing that makes this location stand out in a good or bad way. When in need, I will pop by.

Given its location in the shopping center, parking is never an issue. The condition of their stores, including this location could definitely be better. I do not think they have invested any capital in this store in years. From the floors to the ceilings and all the way to the registers and carts...it's all in need of a good refresh/update! If you can get past the appearance you can really find some good deals at Big Lots. They have a decent grocery section that I use for snacks mostly. They also have a great kitchen/housewares section where I have scooped up several sets of silverware and cups from over the years. During the holidays I also swing in here as they always have a solid holiday section with a lot of items from small to large! In addition to everything above, they surprisingly have a good furniture section. I am not too ashamed to admit that in my younger days I got a couch and a bed from Big Lots. The couch has since moved on, but the bed still sits in our guestroom right now!
