******PARENTS BE ON HIGH ALERT ****** Sharing a story from Nextdoor app::: I Went to the Target in Buena Park around 7pm with my daughter on Sunday. We were in the smaller area of the woman's department on the left side of the store and a man came in my direction very fast. I told myself not to over react. The man ended up circling my daughter and I for approx 10 mins and another man on his phone came into the area as well. I kept my eye on them the whole time, as my kid was w me looking around at clothes. These men did not pick up one item or look at 1 tag! My daughter walked up to me and gave me an expression I could read without her saying a word. We moved on and the men did not follow. I noticed there were 2 security guards at the front. I did not report anything cuz there wasn't much to report other than suspicion. I knew these men were looking for signs that I was not paying attention to my surroundings. My daughter and I were really shook up. It's come to the point where so many of us moms won't take our kids out on errands. It's awful. DON'T EVER LET YOUR KIDS OUT OF YOUR SITE! read more

This is my favorite store. Today one of the employee made me really dislike this store. I got charge a different price from what it said on the tag. I told Alyssa those candles are $2.50 she had me to go take a picture of the tag. Which I did then she said it didn't match. I checked my circle app and it said $$4.25. She seemed very confused. Then she said it was $3.48 because it gave me a discount from my circle points. It didn't made sense. My problem is the way Alyssa spoke to me which was not very profesional. I got to ride the motor cart when I walked in with crutches because I sprained my foot. I almost knocked over a rack in the men's section but I don't know if any staff noticed. Other customers were kind enough to stay out of my way and wait if I had to make a u-turn in an aisle because the scooter thing made wide turns. I went here today to buy storage bins printed with Liberty of London designs but I didn't find them the first time. Instead, I got several picture frames because they're sold out online. I mainly go to this location for DVDs or to look at power tools. I tried to look for the flower-decorated piggy banks but they only have plain oversized ones. I went back today for a few more picture frames. They don't have all the patterns but they have more than what's sold out at the website. My father used to work at this chain so he was impressed that they sell canned food now. The printed acrylic or glass topped containers aren't in stock. The storage boxes are smaller than I thought they'd be but the perfect size for the furniture I was going to put them in. They didn't have the Anna Sui Gossip Girl line even though its been out for a couple of days. This place really motivated me to do some Spring cleaning to make room for more stuff. Worth a visit if you're price shopping for accordion files, foam mattress pads, and paper shredders. read more

They wanted to give me just under $10 in coins for cashing out a gift card, I declined . After talking to manager he told me it was Target policy to only give coins for cash outs on gift cards. I've been to this Target three times now, and each time it's been a good experience. Never been too crowded on the days I've visited, aisles have been clean and well-stocked, checkout lines minimal, and Target Team Members have been helpful and friendly. This target is terrible in customer service. Today I had called them 7 times and no answer at all. I tried to contact two departments and still nothing. It's ridiculous. Is no one at their departments? Especially customer service area. So I had to drive all the way down to this target and when I get there I seen 4 employees in the customer service area just talking. I'm like really couldn't pick up the phone?! So what I went there for was the LPS toys that are coming back and when I went to the toy section there was no LPS so annoying cause if they could of just answered their phones I wouldn't have wasted my time going over there. Really annoyed with Target lately with their online orders. First, Target automatically adds on a bag fee to my online store pick-up orders! They say they will refund the bag fee if you don't use any at pickup but then I must remember to request the refund and the clerks are not sure how to process the bag refund fee so they give the refund back to you in change! Second, I am unable to find many items while ordering online when I have purchased these same items previously while shopping in the store. At first, I thought Target was really giving Amazon a run for their money with their online store pickup orders, however, lately I have been using Amazon again because of these issues. read more

Stopped by this location on the way back from Disneyland. This is located off the 91 freeway exiting Beach Blvd. This store is clean and pretty organized. I noticed as I was leaving they have a separate section for mobile I didn't get to check it out but it's away from the electronics section. Large signs for all the departments so easy to navigate around the store. Overall a nice Target. Also free Wifi like most all other Targets. Some if the workers I saw were all friendly as I was leaving the Men's clothing dept the gal folding up the clothes in the dept wished me a good night etc we were literally talking back and forth saying have a goodnight weekend etc as I was walking away it was funny. I like to shop, Target is my favorite store, always has been. If I see one while driving, I stop by even though I am usually stocked at home with all I need, each store is different and with different layouts/items, etc. I love browsing through the clearance areas at the end of each aisle. I always find very good items there, sometimes name brand perfumes and skin products at half price. This store is no exception, always good deals. The employees were friendly and helpful. One of my favorite locations is this one. It's huge, clean and we'll stocked. I do miss the Xhiliration brand :( read more

I went in from out of town to grab some stuff and was being pressured to change my phone line with the electronic people. They were being persistent that I give them my id so did, finally being able to get away from their pressure I left, not realizing they kept my id. I am from out of town I live 1.5 hours away I keep trying to call the store to confirm my ID card is there before making the drive. I have called the store 7x different departments just trying to speak with someone and I keep getting hung up on. This establishment should be run better since they are such a big cooperation, throughout that whole store there is not even 1 person to pick up a phone? mind you I've tried every department. I tried a pair of jeans on and they were way to big and the employee said I could order them in store and get shipped to my house. A red head male took my order which I bought two of the same pair just different sizes and he asked if I wanted them shipped to my house. I said yes and when I got home I checked my email and saw one was getting shipped to my house and the other to the store. I called guest service and had to place another order for the same pair and couldn't cancel the other pair till it gets to the store. This place is terrible if you need to buy everyday things. Everytime I go in the store is always empty and in desperate need to be restocked. And the funny thing is that if you ask an employee that actually cares they will more than likely have it in the back and not on the shelves why I don't know but it really is a drag to come here. People usually bash Walmart but I think Target is the one to be bashed everything is missing or out of place no one knows anything or whats going on it needs more employees you're lucky to find an employee let alone one that cares enough to actually help you. I've truly never been so disappointed by a retail experience like this. I bought some clippers today to finally shave my head after months of thinking about it. My bf and I had just gone to Knotts and figured we'd stop by a local target to pick up the clippers to finally do it. NOT ONLY WERE THE CLIPPERS USED, WITH HAIR STICKING OUT, BUT IT WASNT EVEN THE SAME BRAND AS THE ONES I BOUGHT! Someone had put their old, disgusting, used clippers in a new box and the incompetent employees at this location decided to just put it back on the shelf without inspection. That's disgusting at any time, but completely unacceptable given we are still in a pandemic. In the climate of COVID, hygienic tools SHOULD NOT be resold. I live in LA, but wasted my time & gas to go back to this location to attempt to correct the situation. While Sofia did offer to give me my money back, she told me she could give me $20 cash and approx $7 back to my card. I asked why it couldn't all be refunded to my card she told me it's because I used cash and card to make my initial purchase, which I did NOT. I just wanted to go home so I said whatever, just give me whatever money back so I can leave. On a separate issue though, I genuinely feel this entire staff should be retrained due to their lack of sympathy and accommodations for the handicap. An older woman was loudly complaining that all the electric carts were either dead or dying. An employee who's name I unfortunately did not catch, told her it was out of her control because other customers use the carts. The customer suggested maybe having a designated person to make sure the carts were charged and ready for use and the employee all but rolled her eyes at her. I later heard the employee making a comment to another employee that the customer was crazy and should understand that the situation was out of their hands. I think that is absolutely atrocious.
