This 1 star goes to the horrible wifi and cell signal that's universally found in every target. I have AT&T so I know I should have decent coverage and yet every target trip I deal with slow app speeds (I use the app to make my purchases) this target is up there with the worst app speed usually leading to screen freezing while I'm trying to pull up the pay barcode and today was especially bad waiting for the app to open just for it to freeze read more

I came into target to shop and use my team members discount. But the dumb blonde girl on self checkout said " you need to have to have the red card to use the team discount ". Like wtf I can use my discount with cash . Just because your teams leads probably lied to you about needing the red card to use your discount. Relatively new store that's big, bright and beautiful. Sundry section particularly noteworthy for their impressive stock of deodorants, shampoos, laundry detergents. Across the street from Stater Brothers market. Have found lower prices on canned soup, bottled spaghetti sauce and packaged noodles than at the market. read more

Awful Experience! No store manager... as she's on her way out of the company, so they have inexperienced "pseudo" managers ... forget about any compassion and understanding for having your wallet stolen... even with copy of drivers License and all new credit cards, company policy forbids them from issuing store credit unless they physically have it. Called their corporate number while in line dealing with them. Corporate was more than willing to allow return until they spoke to the pseudo inexperienced manGer on a power trip, Nicole And her assistant Lester.... awful. After thousands spent in their store for so many years, they got hung up on $11.88 pillows... Stay away unless you want the hassle! read more

Was looking at purchasing some trading cards and this target said they were available and also says on the app 20+ available in store. Get to the store that is 28 miles away and they don't have anything in stock. Ask a worker why it has said available in stock for more than a week that I had been looking at it. She said the store doesn't update the inventory. I let her know the store should try and do something about it and she ignored me and walked off to help another customer. Seems like target here needs some more training. This happened less than 10 min ago too. Smh read more

We shop at target often. Went to buy a gift card, and there were none. Target did not have target gift cards. Two employees led me to the gift card racks,no cards. There are racks near every register, all empty. What is going on. Also most of the sale price Tags were not honored at the register. It took extra time to have the cashier look them up. I'm a former Target employee and what my friend told me, I'm totally outraged. So this target had a fire and my friend had to leave all her stuff behind for her safety. When the store opened up, she was busy with school and work to check and pick your her left items. She goes today and was told that they threw everything away. And one of Target policies when it comes to lost and found is typically hold it for a week before donating or throwing away. I thought they would have been considerate and hold it a week and a half when the store opened up again. They told her with no emotion that her MacBook, her Apple Watch that her boyfriend gave her before going over seas, her emergency cash, her ID l, cards, and her Marc Jacob's The Tote Bag was thrown away. If this store were to ever caught one fire again (i hope it doesn't) risk it and take your stuff with you, cause these employees will throw it away. read more

This rating is specifically for Mario in the Tech department. I came to Target on Thanksgiving day for their iPhone deal. They were giving $250 gift cards if you got a iPhone 8/8+ from them. I really needed a new phone so I came in a few days before and asked the tech people what's the best way I can make sure I get a phone on thanksgiving day/black friday. They said come early, get your name on the list, and talk to a tech person, etc. All good, I did all of that. What they didn't tell me is the detailed information I needed about my account. Minor hiccup, it's okay but the tech person I was working with the day I was buying my phone, Mario, was extremely rude. Mario, somehow, is a tech lead... He is so completely rude to both customers and his coworkers. He was helping me for about 20 minutes the first time and repeatedly rushed me and told me he would only try one more time before he has to take the next customer (mind you, he only tried to enter my information two times.) The whole time he was helping me, he was talking to his coworker and other customers with a rude tone. He kept repeating "I don't mean to be rude or anything but..." Mario, look, you were being rude and there's no need to constantly repeat that you weren't trying to be rude... You were. You have terrible customer service. After him kicking me out of the line and helping the next customer, I stuck around and tried to get more information and called his manager, whom I spoke to earlier in the week. His manager agreed to tell Mario to try my information one more time. I was standing around while he helped the next customer and he was being rude to her as well! All he cares about is sales. He kept repeating that he was supposed to make a sale every 20 minutes. Okay, we get that you may have quotas or whatever but there is no need to be that rushy/rude with people, especially your coworkers. Fast forward, the lady he was helping me with afterwards ended up leaving and not even buying a phone. Definitely partly due to his attitude. He came back to helping me, after his manager told him to, and spent another 40-45 minutes with me. 1 hour helping me in total. There were problems with the system and it told him to call a 1-800 number. The entire time he was irritated with it and just wanted to move onto a different customer. I saw him texting someone, probably his boss or manager, asking if he should just hang up and send me away, again. His boss/manager/whomever he was texting, was saying do not hang up on the 1-800 number and wait until they answer. It took the 1-800 number 20 minutes or so to answer. All in all, I was able to purchase the phone after the technical difficulties. Once we got to the register when I needed to pay for the taxes of the phone, he was rushing and rude to his coworker that was at the register. I really couldn't believe this guy at this point, what a f**king a**hole. Seriously. I paid, and then I tried to set up my phone with him. While he was doing some last minute things and printing my receipt, I did the first part of the set up. Once he got the phone back from he said "why did you put your settings in here" "i'm supposed to do it." Ended up NOT helping me whatsoever and told me to go home and set it up. I realized that he didn't set up my phone correctly and that I was unable to do anything with it. He's so incompetent... He told me if I was having issues that I could come back on Sunday when their sales are over (3 days later). He expected me to be without a phone for 3 days. Are you kidding? He was absolutely no help and I had to ask other people in the tech department to help me. A nice young man in the tech department let me borrow his phone to call my home to get an access code off my iPad so I can set up my phone with iCloud... It was another hour-1.5 hour ordeal before I could set up my phone. It was about 8pm and I noticed that there wasn't anyone in the tech line trying to buy a phone any longer. At this point, Mario tried to help me again but all he did was bash me and tell me I was doing everything wrong and that he can't help me. Just go away. Overall, Mario has the absolutely worst customer service that I've ever experienced in my entire life. This guy should be suspended, demoted, or fired. read more

I used to go to this Target a lot, but stopped a few weeks ago because my daughters' dance studio is across the street and they dance up to 7 times a week. I gave 2 stars because they allow solicitors to harass their customers. I sometimes go to the Targets at Westminster Mall and Cerritos and I usually don't get approached by solicitors. When I have been approached, a Target employee will come out and ask them to leave. At this Target, I have been followed to my car and cat called. There's a security guard inside right by the entrance, but they don't seem to care. They sometimes solicit you as you're entering the store and always when you're exiting. Really annoying. read more

Underwhelming Target and smaller than my regulars. There is a high amount of foot traffic due to being located in the heart of Buena Park. Many locals and tourists stop by before/after visiting the theme parks in the area, especially during summer. Much smaller selection of clothing than I am used to so I don't arrive with very high hopes. Even when I am not here for clothes, I leave with nothing or only a fraction of what I needed. At times they don't have enough cashiers to handle the lines but for the most part they move quickly. Plenty of parking outside but beware of the cop on the side waiting to ticket cars who don't come to a complete stop at the stop sign. Consider that your warning cuz he ain't playing :) read more

Just witnessed an irate customer being extremely rude to sales associates who otherwise were trying to help him find a product in a department other than what they were assigned to. Despite his ever increasing level of aggravation and rudeness, the entire staff kept their composure. The manager even went back to check on his employees after the situation had deescalated. While this isn't a review of the store directly, it's important to note that the individuals that work there try hard to be helpful - the least we can do is try to be human in return. read more

I ran into buy a few simple things before a trip to Disneyland. They had everything that I needed. I was picking up a few snacks for the kiddo: goldfish crackers, juice boxes, water, and some pocket packs of tissue. After several hours at the park, I ended up coming back here to pick up some things for a BBQ we'd been invited to. Again, they had everything that I needed. This was our one stop shop for both occasions. The store associates were kind and helpful. One of them wasn't quite sure where we might be able to find charcoal for our bbq but because they didn't know, they said that they'd walk with us so that we would both be in the know. I liked that. I like someone who may not know the answer but is willing to help you solve the problem and learn for themselves in the process. That was nice. I had NO issues checking out and everyone was able to go about their day without any hiccups. I made a quick stop to the restroom and to my shock absolutely everything was clean. I went in there to change my lil one and eve that was clean! I was so pleased. If I'm ever in the area and need to find another target, you better believe I'll stop in to this location again. read more

Always nice staff, clean place, and has everything you need here and so much more. I like that they keep changing the layouts of the merchandise to freshen up the look. And of course, Redcard! It is such a nice bonus to get 5% off every purchase even when you buy the Starbucks in the store. Dont forget to check Cartwheel in the app for some extra discount on certain items. This Target is our go to location and used to be the ideal shopping place. I feel like something has changed in their infrastructure or operations but this year and last the stores have no looked great. I feel like the toy section experinces a natural disaster everyday. But there are always large carts all over the store as if they now stock the store during the day rather than the evening. Maybe the minimum wage increase is negatively affecting this large business. read more

They just went through a renovation which is sad because no one seems to take care of this location anyway. The bathroom is in constant disarray. I've literally never seen it clean. Paper towel/toilet paper thrown everywhere and multiple stalls clogged is commonplace. The Starbucks inside is also always a mess. Floors are sticky, wrappers on the floors, 3/4ths of the tables as I look around are empty and dirty. The two stars are for the few people I've interacted with being friendly. read more

A really nice Target store. Yes, it's not massive, but honestly do these stores need to be? They've got a really nice layout, and Guest Services recently moved to be checkouts 1-4 (also doubles as online order pickup) which opened space for a bit more clothing/sale of the week space. It does tend to be busier being near Knott's, but that's not their fault...tho they don't always have a lot of checkouts open and the self-checkout will be closed randomly as it gets later (I've been there at 9 PM and it'll be closed for the night when the store closes at 11 or 12) They have Starbucks and Target Cafe, but the cafe part is closed most of the times I've been there. Separately from that, Guest Services has always been super helpful, they've done price adjustments without much concern if the POS didn't ring up a sale correctly or if Cartwheel or such isn't working. They've also been really helpful if I can't find an item - turns out the store was sold out but they told me which other Targets have it and even called to confirm it for me, which was really nice. It's hard to say much else, I guess. It's a pretty nice Target that is squished by other vendors and rent probably, and gets a ton of Knott's traffic. read more

A Target is a Target. A bit more expensive than Walmart, but the cuteness and parking more than makes up for it. Where else can you get Converse, a steering wheel cover, and Lean Cuisines and not spend 20 minutes finding a parking spot in BFE? I frequent this location since it's close to my house and work. The staff has ALWAYS been friendly and helpful and I usually see quite a few on the floor doing go-backs and straightening things up. It's always clean, even the clearance clothing! Well stocked, also. And a Starbucks! My only issues with Target is that the bathrooms are rarely clean, but I've had better luck here than anywhere else. A personal downside: Since it's close to my workplace, I often see my students while my cart is full of tampons, bras, and the like. Awkward! read more

Location is perfect and close to my house. It doesn't get overly crowded in the parking lot, and it is easy to get in and out of. The staff is generally friendly and helpful - I've asked for their assistance a few times and they have no problem dropping what they're doing or finding someone who knows where to go. One thing I love about this location is that it is always fully stocked. I haven't really had a problem with finding something I needed at this store, and that can be an issue elsewhere. It is convenient and easy for me to come here. Sometimes I come and forget what I had been looking for. There's so much to look at and do! This is my favorite store set-up wise. It was a nice and clean Target with a huge parking lot. I was able to easily find what I needed as their layout was basically on par with most Targets. Per the usual, they had a lot of good deals on their end cap displays. So hard to resist! I was only buying a few items and was going to use one of their self checkout registers, but they were occupied by slow customers that obviously would not be able to hold a job as a cashier. So I went to an open cashier line, paid for my stuff, and was out of there in no time. read more

This is my fave target!! It's small but always has what I'm looking for! I've done the "pick up in store" option during my lunch breaks and there has been I'd say 2/10 occasions where my items weren't ready by the stated time but both were still good experiences first one I got a free Starbucks while I waited for them to locate it and the second time the lady that helped me got a couple of employees to track my item down at such a rapid paste I didn't have to wait much time. I've also came in and browsed around and purchased stuff for the house and the young male manager always opens registers before the lines even get a chance to pile up. He's on the floor working and being hands on he makes these visits pleasant because he's always near by to resolve any issue. Three days before Easter and I finally get around to looking for plastic Easter eggs for Sunday. But.. how many stores carry those damn things at this time of year? Dollar Tree: No. 99 Cent Store: Nope. WalMart: Nooope. The brand new two story monster Target in Brea: NOPE. After calling SEVERAL of those stores I listed and even GOING to one other WalMar and Target, I thought my search was hopeless. NO ONE had those stupid eggs - or the grass filling stuff or decent candy. Then I remembered this little guy. Not only did they have LOADS of eggs, they had different types (Hello Kitty Easter eggs for crying out loud), different colored grass stuffing and shelves of Easter candy. I couldn't believe it! Every other store had told me they were completely sold out and were unaware of other locations that had eggs. I know they're just silly plastic eggs. But it really pays to go to a Target apparently NOBODY goes to because they will be stocked full with everything you need. PHEW. Thank you BP Target for saving me from making boiled Easter eggs instead. read more

I live right by this Target. Just like everyone else, I shop at Target for almost everything and anything. I work at a different Target location a little further away, and I just really prefer this one to any other. Aside from it being extremely close to my house, it's also really big and clean! There's always a great selection. I'm in this store every week, buying things. The parking lot is huge, and it's never hard to find a spot. This Target also has many check lanes and cashiers available all the time. Starbucks and Pizza Hut are here! The Target I work at doesn't have those two amazing things unfortunately. Everyone local comes to this Target, because it is just an easy one-stop-shop. I can't help but love this store more than other Targets though and I would recommend anyone to come here. The only time I choose to shop at the Target I work at is if I'm already there, working. That says a lot! Oh and to make things better: This Target has WiFi now! This is my usual Target, but definitely thinking of going to a different location. The store is usually always kept clean and they usually have everything I need. Customers service is always a struggle. I understand customers can be difficult, I worked in retail myself, but you do not talk crap about other customers in front of customers. Four out of my five last visits to this Target, I heard employees talk crap about the customers they previously helped. There is this one girl in particular who always does this, I forget her name. Pretty unprofessional. You should definitely come to this Target location. Not only can you get what you need, but you get an added bonus cashiers talking shit about you to other customers and employees. read more

The difference between Target and Wal-Mart is environment, quality, brands, and service. With that being said, let's go over each element. When you walk into Wal-Mart it is like a schlock shop. There are piles of items up, down, and all around. There are no employees to help you with questions, locations, and needs. When you enter Target their merchandise are placed in a very clean, clear, and concise manner. Every aisle is focused on the categorical products at hand. The products at Wal-Mart are often lacking name brands. They hardly reap of quality. At Target, from art to sundries and clothes to food, you will find items that meet your needs, standards and prices. Finally, the brands at Wal-Mart (as I stated earlier) often are unheard of. When I looked at many of them, it was apparent that most of us would not have known their names. Again, Target has name brands in each of their areas. I feel comfortable knowing a brand that I deem to be legitimate. At Target, you can find service providers who answer your questions and point you to the aisles of need. The check-out clerks are always nice and courteous. You can turn your debit card into a Target five percent discount one with relative ease. All-in-all, Target is my target for prices, items, quality and service. read more

Do you know when you can't find what it is you're looking for so you ask a sales associate to help you and most will come up with the excuse of whatever is on the floor that's all we have without checking their scanners inventory anything other stores etc. Not only did Flor, who doesn't even work in that department, check her scanner, inventory and other stores for what I want, she actually went to the back and found it!!
