Parking can get tight, so you may want to drive up a level in the ramp and enter thru the second floor. They have cashiers on both levels and one of those cool escalators for your shopping cart. The staff is mostly friendly, and they keep the place clean. Like all Target's, they have decent prices on some items, but a lot of it is smoke and mirrors. Poor customer service... a lady with name plate was walking around (looks like checking on the stocks) and i asked her if she works there (because i was only going to ask if there are still womens clothes downstairs) and immediately she answered "i'm on a break!". Well I'm a fan of this Target.., why you ask? Only because it's close to my home and it's well kept and the people who work there are for the most part very helpful. Their produce/meat department is always well stocked and has fresh veggies fruits and meats available. I have to say their meat looks fresher than the meat I see at the Ralph's in woodland hills..., they just need more selections. maybe 3.5 stars This Target, as many have said, is large (2-story) and often well stocked. I do wish that there was a larger clothing selection. I hear about all these designers who have their low-budget Target line, but it's hard to find those things here. Tons of Merona and Mossimo though. I went inside for an online in-store pick up and grabbed a couple extra items on my way through (I know, cliché). Eddy at guest services gave perfect service. He was attentive, kind, quick, and personable. We ran into some technical difficulties, but he handled it like a pro. I like this Target, although I do see what some of the complaints from other reviewers are about. I like it for what it is: it's more of a show store, where they have very new products and a fancy layout. There aren't as many sales or variety of inventory. But, if you're looking more for a nice experience shopping and not as interested in finding one particular item, I think it's great! You can always go online and order what you want if you don't like this place. At first I thought the escalators for the carts were a little weird, but then I realized there were elevators, so no problem there anymore! 4/22 we are in the Covid 19 Pandemic and as Im getting on the escalator Alhemi a female Target clerk walk right about to bump into me and I turn and say, please lets respect the social distance and back up 6 feet. At which point, she decides to start an argument with me in retaliation for the embarrassment she felt for being a poor representation of Target Employees during the Pandemic, so she went and told the cashier that my mask needed to be pulled up higher ‍. I told the cashier please lets focus on the guest service part so you will continue to have Customers, also your employees should lead by example instead of bumping into guests on the escalator. Almost every employee here is so miserable. Everyone I go it's just bad lol. Impossible to get good service. I do understand that there is technology in the store to help the customers so the workers can complete their tasks. However,it doesn't mean that they shouldn't assist anybody at all. My boyfriend just needed to get shirts that were in the case. So he asked an employee if he could open it. He replied "well this better be quick" like bruh really? This is your job. That fact that not all target locations are not reserving the 1st hour of shopping for the vulnerable is not fair to valued shoppers. I was at the topanga mall location today 8am and I was turned away. All I wanted to do is return an item and leave. Note: there were not customers who where there at the time I arrived. I was the only customer that was there and I was turned away. I called the Santa Clarita location and was informed that they not reserving the 1st hour of shoppers to the vulnerable. I love Target stores. This one is two floors, which makes it harder to navigate. Unlike most target stores, this one is squeezed into a mall location, so you may end up schlepping your purchases across the entire mall to your car. Be aware of this as you start to shop. Customer Service desk is only on one floor which throws me off since I often find myself with a return to make. It's clean enough to suit, has plenty of cashiers (see - two floors worth!), escalators usually functioning, large food section. All satisfactory. read more

This location is well kept and stocked well (except for the toy department which seems really small. Even for a Target) so that's a perk. However, since it's part of a mall, I feel like the parking can be a bit of a mess. I've also come across some employees who I feel need to be retrained on certain things. But this review is mainly about a wonderful young lady that was helping me out in the women's department, on the morning of February 12. Her name is Sheena. Sheena helped me to locate what I was looking for with a smile in her eyes and in her voice, quickly and efficiently. She also was extremely patient with me while explaining how to download and use the Target app to find the discounts that were posted on the signs above my items. Worst Target I've ever visited. Every time I go I think my bad experience as a one time thing so I end up going back for more. Defective merchandise almost every single time. Sometimes multiple items. Little things like the sprayer on the bathroom cleaner is defective or all of the Pringles are destroyed inside the can. was tricked online into buying Target gift cards. There is a $4,000 daily limit to buying cards. The manager of the store showed me how to trick the system and purchase $16,000 in gift cards. It turned out to be a nightmare for me. Target disregarded my report and refused to share consequences for the crime. From 2013-2017 63,500 senior citizens have been tricked and hundreds of million$ have been swindled. The crime is at epidemic proportions and only the victim is punished. If Target and other retailers would simply track who cashes the card the criminal would be punished and we could end this crime against Americans - stop punishing the victim. I will never shop at Target again - and hopefully influence others. read more

Besides the fact that it is a convenient location for me, this place has everything, the aisles are always clean and their products are always in stock & neatly arranged in their shelves. Best times to come here is early morning (8am-10am) or an hour before closing to beat the crowd (9:30pm-10:00pm) -- that is also the time when they have almost all their staff around in case you need help. The cashiers are nice and friendly as well, they make sure they offer coupons at checkout to save you $$$ :). Starbucks & Pizza Hut are located at the lower level. 4 stars because of their bathrooms. There were a few times that I walked in there (with my child) and there would be a pile of paper towels inside the stalls or the toilet paper ran out (fortunately, I bring my own wipes). The workers are horrible. I was trying to buy two funkos because they had a really good for them but the deal wasn't working. The worker didn't know how to do anything or how to solve the problem that she even asked the security guard what to do. After that she tired asking for someone to comedown but they weren't picking up so it around 10 minutes just for another worker to come basically the whole situation was disorganized and the workers don't know what they are doing. Being the largest Target in west Valley means you have to deal with some very low information employees. I went in Monday night before Thanksgiving and the boy behind the electronics counter told me that I couldn't buy a PS4 that was on sale all week because they "sold the last one for the day". WTF? What retailer limits the number they can sell per day when an item is supposed to be on sale all week? Love Target overall but their receipts are contaminated with BPA. Apparently protecting their customers and employees from the well-documented dangers of BPA is not a priority for Target. My advice is to decline the receipt. A receipt is not needed for a return because Target can look up all purchases using your credit card. Target should contact Whole Foods or Trader Joe's if they need assistance with this initiative. Very disappointed. read more

(2.5 stars) This is a two-story Target and is located in the Westfield Topanga Mall. The store seemed very well stocked and clean. Because of the good selection, this Target is definitely better than some of the below average Targets out there (like the small Target on Jefferson in Culver City, which has a crowded parking lot and long lines). However, I have always been a fan of Targets where you can get in and get out quickly. Since this Target is spread over two floors and finding parking can be difficult when the mall is busy, this is definitely not the most convenient or quickest Target in the Los Angeles area. OK, had to seriously down grade. In the last three weeks, 2 times I have come home, only to find out that all my purchases were not in my bags. Many times, I don't unpack my non perishables for a day or two (which happened this week) I just called the store to complain, and I was told that not only have they been experiencing this a lot lately (they are doing an 'investigation' to determine which employees are the culprits), but I also found out that if you don't come back by the end of the day to reclaim your items, THEY ARE RESTOCKED, AND RESOLD! Not much to say, it's like any other location. The store is pretty clean and it's a great size however some of the departments were a little bit messy especially the shoe department. Most of the shoes were not even in boxes or shoes were mis-placed. I was trying to find a shoe to wear for my birthday this weekend and I had a lot of trouble. I ended up just leaving the store. There was a lot of employees but nobody asked if we needed help however at check out the lady was very nice. I love target so I'm sure I will be back at this location but I hope that it's a little more organized the next time I come in. read more
