There are many reasons why more and more people are choosing to shop online - Target in Edgewater is one of them. THE WORST. Terrible selection, dimly lit, run down, lots of checkout stations but few cashiers. On a recent visit (surely this will be my last) I waited in line for almost twenty minutes to check out. Only two of the multiple check out lines was open and both lines had three to five customers waiting. The woman at the front of my line accepted the cashier's offer to open a Target "Red" card for her so that she could save 5% on her purchase. (My experience is that cashiers alway ask customers if they want to apply for this card.) That's fine, but if they are going to do that, the need to make sure that the application/approval process is fast, if not immediate. It literally took almost fifteen minutes for her card to be approved. There were two other customers in line ahead of me who were also annoyed at the whole situation. When asked if they wanted to apply for the Target card, I overheard one saying "Ah, no thanks, I just want to get out of here." The fact that it takes so long to issue the card is one thing, the fact that no other Target employee noticed that another checkout stand needed to be open is another. Lastly, I had a return from a purchase made a few days ago at the Glendale store and the cashier informed me that he could not process a return, I would have to go to the Returns Desk for that. Yes, I got to wait in line again. Really?? They can't implement a system so that returns/exchanges can be done at the same time and same place where you check out? This system is cumbersome, antiquated and customer "unfriendly." Amazon-Prime, more business coming your way. read more

I have been to this location quite the last few years as it is the closest to my home. I have not had too many issues when I come here! The staff is pretty good, the online pick up today was easy as well! The store has a good selection and rarely is out of items, so it's pretty well stocked. This Target also has excellent parking since the lot is quite large! It's never too busy either! Which is great when you are looking for a quick shopping trip. read more

Agree with a previous comment on here about better to just shop online or use an automated check out. First I was looking for clothes washer machine cleaner. Asked 2 associates. They had no idea what this is. "I'll google it for you" one says. Really? I look too old to know how to google for myself? I found it on the shelves and showed them myself. Then checking out. The a-hole checker was more worried about getting to the person behind me, I have realized now that I'm home I must have left a bag in that stupid bag spin thing they have because I'm missing about $40 worth of products that I have paid for on my receipt. I feel like this target location has a great stock of newly added items when it comes to clothing. They aren't all picked through, and they are pretty organized. They always have a great shoes selection too, and it is cleaner than most. The toys seem to be the same, when I can't find something somewhere else, this target has it. Also, they have a huge parking lot, so you don't have to worry about walking forever to get into the store. read more

We're thrilled to have our very own Target store to serve Highlands, Sloan Lake etc. It's shiny and new and has all the good stuff -- *except* it's not a SuperTarget, so not much in the way of groceries. (Although they do have soda, boxes of cereal, etc.) Everything else about this store, however, is as good as the Glendale Target. read more

I like this target. The prices cant be beat. The food section is actually pretty good and has alot of 2 for 1 items or items on sell. Friendly employees who actually know how to actually answer your questions and point you in the right direction. read more

I had enough. They have real problems managing their food inventory: on a regular basis you will find molded bread, empty shelves for frozen food (7 days without the most common frozen breakfast options), expired meat, expired sour cream...the list goes on! Who is in charge of that section? It is a shame. For all your groceries, I suggest ACME (same parking lot) or Trader Joe's (5 min away). read more

This is the best pharmacy. They are very courteous, always friendly, and most importantly, they are prompt. You never have to wait long and staff acknowleges you immediately. They have a consistent staff, and they really know who you are. I wish all pharmacies where this efficient. Great job! read more

Horrible selection for baby stuff. One color of changing pad cover (pink and I have a boy), no crib bedding??! Go to a bigger target or shop online, or better yet, support local businesses in the Highlands. read more

Regular old Target store. Nothing special about it. The staff are always friendly. Its better than Walmart, but that's not saying a whole lot. You know what they're gonna sell here and there's no reason to go looking for more. It is what it is, just a regular Target store. read more

This Target would have 5 stars if it weren't for the layout (I know it's kind of silly, but I prefer my superstores to have more than one entrance...it just feels unbalanced to have to walk in on one side of a massive store rather than being able to choose which door to enter so that you will be closer to your desired stuff). For my first trip to the Edgewater Target I had a list and 2 very specific things I needed (a popular double electric breast pump and a stroller/car-seat travel system)...I even checked online to find the availability of the items in the store and called to find out if they could set them aside. There was only ONE of the pumps left, and they set it aside for me at customer service and I was able to pick it up on my way out! Thank goodness I called ahead :) There were 2 of the travel systems, but they didn't set one aside...but I still got one. I love their baby section because they always have cute affordable clothes and great sale items. They also have a pretty good selection of arts and craft supplies. read more

They price match amazon and there employees everywhere to help huge parking lot never full except for Black Friday I've been shopping in this target for 4 years and I never had problems they also except returns without causing any problems read more

Not to bad of a target. Very busy though. Pretty clean and organized. Lots of clearance on end of summer stuff. Starbucks conveniently inside. I'll come back if I'm in the neighborhood again. read more

TERRIBLE STORE. I had an experience at the checkout where the hispanic checkout person made racial comments towards me after I questioned an issue with the credit card chip reader. He was very rude and when I asked to speak to a manager he told me to go 'find one' and when I refused, he called for one but then spoke in code on the phone with the so called manager who never appeared. I waited for the manager to arrive and he/she never did. The offensive employee then walked by me and called me a 'white bitch' under his breath. I left the store and tried calling Target to get the store manager's name and the district manager's name and phone numbers to report it. Target's customer relations is a JOKE. They want all of my personal information but won't supply a full name and phone number for a manager to address the matter . They say this is for "security reasons" but it's just a way of NOT being transparent and NOT holding their employees accountable. It turns out that when I called CR again and spoke to a person named Malcom - some sort of supervisor, I was lied to by the local store when I had originally called for the manager information. Steven - is not the General Manager, he is a low level 'asset manager' on duty. The general manager is someone called Melissa - again no last names or contact # disclosed and the district manager is someone called Sarah. So down the rabbit hole of hiding behind 'security' for not providing a customer with direct contact information to someone who should be available to address this horrible situation. Instead Target's structure is one in which they hide information and create a horrible black of hole of ZERO accountability to the customer. Provide us with YOUR personal information and we'll ASSURE you that we'll do something about it and give you a case number in exchange. 'Trust' us to 'investigate". Really? You've demonstrated you're so trustworthy already. What a joke. The Edgewater store is a low rent store. It's not like other Target stores. I used to think it was lower class because it's located in a lower middle income area (near Colfax, not commenting on Edgewater which is a nice community). But now I know it's a true reflection of Target's actual values. Target can say all it wants but until its actions match its words, it is nothing less than another lying, scummy corporation putting on a false face for the public. I've gotten a look behind the curtain and Target is horrible. They need to fire both Giovanni, the cashier who is a racist and Steven, the 'asset manager' on duty this morning - he's a child coward, and they need to call me and state they took this action - other wise, none of their "I'm sorry's" matter. Racism is racism. I don't treat people of color disrespectfully and I damn well don't expect to be treated that way, especially in a Target store by one of their employees. read more

this is the last time i go to this place. they didn't have what i was looking for even though there was a tag on the shelf and online it said they had it in stock. ugh! i used the phone to ask why none were on the shelf but there was no answer. i finally found someone in an aisle and asked them if they can check stock for me. she said i'm leaving for lunch. ugh again. found someone else who called in the back to pull what i needed but this took forever. this long ordeal made me hungry so i went to the food counter and ordered a hot dog and icee. the big guy behind the counter made me wait so he can spray pans before baking then he was super rude. ugh a third time. unfriendly guy that really didn't want to be there. never again! read more

There aren't many targets in Denver but I will not be coming back to this one. As I was looking for clothes. There was loud conversations, screaming, joking around and playing with carts. I thought to myself that college kids or high school girls sure had an interesting way of having fun. Then I realize this was three employees screwing around around the fitting room. Then, as I was in beauty I witnessed an older lady asking for help out of the fragrance case and all the worker told her was that he didn't have the key sorry. Then when she asked him if anyone else did: he told her yeah I think so, I guess I can go find out. After checking out I went to get a mini pizza. It's 2 o'clock in the afternoon on a Saturday and the worker told me they were completely out of pizzas. But there were three workers behind the counter? Just horrible customer service absolutely all around. I love target and shop there at least three or four times a month but I will not be coming back to this one. read more

This is a perfectly fine Target but just not that exciting with regards to clearance racks, extreme bargains or any other neato stock. Mostly I come here to return things I buy online as well as browse the dollar bins at the front. Oh how I love the dollar bins, in spite of the fact that more than half the merchandise is intended for infants or animals. There is always a lime green chip bowl or beer tub or doggy reindeer antlers with my name on it! I rarely find the housewares stuff on sale and when I do see things marked down, they are never large in quantity or discount. It's pretty clean but not the best organized. I've never even attempted to look through the shoe section and rarely the clothing either because it always looks like a mess. The designer capsules get picked through quickly. It IS worth checking here after the holidays because one year they had massive holiday stock 75% off, but it didn't happen the next year - or at least not on my dang pre-lit tree I had my eye on all winter! There is always a huge selection of inexpensive (under $10) men's corny and faux vintage t-shirts for the faux hipster dudes in your life. And I do love the "Giada row" with her smiling face staring down at me from above her shiny, pretty cooking and kitchen products. P.S. if you look at her goods online, most of the pots and pans include a free recipe from her cookbooks in the Details section. Copy and paste those suckers! read more

Worst Target store on Earth! Nothing is in stock, shelves are all messy, aisles full of boxes and display items thrown on floors. Also, most employees only speak Spanish so if you have a question and don't speak Espanol, you are out of luck. This place should be closed or moved south of the border! read more

I was unhappy with my insurance company for not only making me switch to this pharmacy, but also for refusing to pay for the medication I needed. I explained the medication situation to the pharmacist on the phone and told her I would pay for it out of pocket $300+. An hour later I got there and she had it waiting for me...for free! She went out of her way to find me a free trial. Above and beyond her duty! Target pharmacies for the world! read more
