I am at Target. I rarely come to this store....but needed to get a gift card. I went to pay and the cash register stopped working. Got no receipt....when they go to check on another register it shows gift card not purchased......I have to wait until they reboot and it can take a while. Manager and cashier very apologetic....but I am still pissed. I would give no stars today if I could. Wouldn't mind so much if I didn't have to be somewhere else. read more

I don't like this Target or shopping center... Granted one year I did find the Wii when it was sold out everywhere and scored on that! During this visit, I was looking for a wall clock for my Mom. I did find one and it was actually on sale when it rang up. COOL! (There was no sign at the display.) Otherwise, this location seems small for me. Despite its renovation, I feel that when I shop here I feel cramped. The employees are not as friendly or helpful either. The traffic is crazy here. Before the big new Target at the mall was built, this was Escondido's place to shop. It's always busy, even with the new Target and for the most part, I love shopping here. I'm a clearance shopper and spend way too much money on crap I don't need at Target because it's a good deal. When I need something I can usually find it at Target. I've been shopping here for ten years and I've only had one bad experience when I was referred to a virtual five year old "shift manager" when I had a problem with storage boxes I wanted to buy that had no lids. He was a smug, obnoxious child who assured me he would be happy to call me when more boxes came in... of course that call never came even though the boxes did. I loved this store more before they made it a semi-SuperTarget by adding groceries to it. I also very much miss the Garden Center that once lived here. But even with those things, I still love this store and shop here regularly... more than regularly. But, it's just another Target. Average parking lot. Mostly friendly and helpful staff. We came to Target because I was thirsty and my daughter needed a snack. As you enter, there's a snack place where you can get drinks, personal pizzas, pretzels, etc. I decided to get a pretzel with cheese dip and an icee for my daughter and I only got a large drink. I was so thirsty and dehydrated. So much shopping in this shopping center. Right next to the snack place was a Starbucks. I had to pass on Starbucks because my drink was refillable. I ended up getting a Diet Coke. My daughter is funny because she told me to refill my drink which I did a couple of times. I must have been really thirsty! Haha... Anyway, Target is pretty huge but they were going under construction which means the front had tape all over and entering was difficult since there's mobs of people going here. It was easy to find things since everything was labeled. That helps. I only bought two items, a toy for my daughter and a hand cream. I didn't really need anything. The plus side was the store was nice and clean. I even got to sample a couple of food items an older lady was handing out. read more

There are two Targets in Escondido and this is my favorite because it's easy to find things in a single floor. This location is the oldest and original location in Escondido off Auto Parkway. The newer Target at the Westfield North County mall has better groceries and selection, but I hate having to visit different floors. Also, the newer Target only has cashiers open on the first floor since Covid. On that note, I love you Target, but please stop pushing self-checkout so much and bring back cashiers. Self-checkout takes away jobs and many of us don't like it. read more

Pretty crappy target, I've been going to this location since I was old enough to know what a target is... Well this one is old and dirty. In there defense it seems to be going construction, with a ton of outhouse by the front entrance so even walking in is smelly. The parking lot is scary, and too many anxious people in this center. I shop at this target all the time. They have a good selection of products and the store is usually pretty clean. The staff is generally pretty nice. I ordered a drive up order tonight because I was tight on time and I was blown away at the efficiency of Kevin and Vanessa. I pulled up and my order was already in their basket waiting for me. Bonus: they both were kind and super helpful loading the order into the car. read more

They did a remodel a while back , often stocked well. However. The parking lot is the absolute worst! There are always far too many people inside, families just hanging out, blocking everything. Thought I would try drive up instead because I would be in the area. Placed order at 10am, got text 1.5 hours later that order was ready, apparently missed the part that said "part"... "part of your order is ready". Get there at 3pm ( 5 HOURS AFTER ORDER WAS PLACED!) ONE item is ready! Didn't get a notice the full order was ready until 5pm! 7 HOURS after initial order was placed. This store became apart of my morning routine, I work early until 8:45am and come back between 10-11am in that time I love to go to target yes we're all do lol. This store is nice and clean I normally do self checkout, but yes long time ago they have this cashier was a guy he's so mean don't even say hi or nothing, but he no longer work here so I still give this store a great reviews. Starbucks session is not my favorite the girl said we don't have espresso or coffee cause it's too early, most of the drink from Starbucks has caffeine how can she selling stuffs there. And only 1 employees. Wow that's why she mad. (She don't even bother customer question) Talking about this store I love it after the remodeling feel more roomy and space. I like it cause it's not too cold compared to the market. They have greats vitamins session which is nice. I took vitamins from here for over 3-4 years my body feel great. Coffee and creamer session was nice cause I'm vegan and they have plans base coffee cream instead of cow milk. Perfect, they have most of the products I need for the day not 100% everything but I love it. I went in the morning it's still nice and clean, they have a good amount of employees work there each session so you can ask. I don't like the fact some of another place ask u too much questions. Restroom is nice and clean as well. Big parking lot, if you come later in the day it's so busy. I don't really shop foods here but drink and coffee was my favorite. This place is so unbelievably messy and trashed that it's ridiculous. I worked at another target and I always avoid coming into this target specifically unless i absolutely have to. You straight up have to dig through piles of clothes in order to find something you want and all clothing is just everywhere to the point where you almost can't tell what clothing section it is. Baby clothes are in mens and mens are in kids etc. I wanted to come in today and find a pair of workout shorts and there was just a pile of clothing and I will not dig through it to find some shorts. It's so messy in this target it's crazy and makes me not want to shop here besides getting food. read more

You lost 2 stars! Yes, this location in particular! I was out of my car freshener and after I bring food in and out of that car, it was starting to smell like a deli, so I went here yesterday on my lunch break to grab some as well as some body wash, soaps, etc. I went in there, there's this lonnnng line, people wouldn't get out of my way, and I have to watch where I'm going, because no one is moving out of the way. One guy even knocked the stuff out of my hands and didn't even excuse himself or help me with the stuff he made me drop. I was already irritated, so checked out and went to my car, I was standing in front of my trunk to load bags into it, when I felt someone squeezing my behind, I turned around and some random guy winked at me, I was furious and punched him twice in the face. Then called him a few bad names, then got in my car as fast as I could so maybe I can run him over, lol, no, I didn't run him over, but I wanted to! I was still shaking after hitting him, I should have hit him a few more times to calm down, but I didn't want to deal with him. What moron does that? read more

I have not been to this Target location in over a year. Recently, I was in the neighborhood and needed to grab a couple of things. From the looks of things, there has been some recent changes. It is now a Super Target (has a grocery section). The new grocery section is huge with a good variety of fresh looking fruits, vegetables, refrigerated and frozen items. With the renovation, the store has a better layout. It is so much cleaner and more organized. Based on my past experience, this Target location can get extremely busy; especially during the holidays and weekends. With that said, parking can be ridiculously crazy!!! This location is amongst a few popular stores: World Market, Toys R Us, Tilly's, Panera Bread, Party City, Jamba Juice and Starbucks. read more

I ordered 2 times curbside pick up the wait time is two hours when you place an order on the mobile app . Tell me why I still have to wait over those two hours to get my pick up notification that my order is ready? I go to other locations such as Vista my order is ready within an hour or so sometimes less. When you call the number to try to speak to someone NO ANSWER! A bunch of teens working at this location who clearly can care less about their job . I get that they are busy but so is MANY other Targets and they get the orders within the two hour window . It's used to be my fav Target back in the day, because I can come in and get the price match with Toys R Us next door, and you can't beat the good deal on that. Lately it has been given some doubts, about 3 months ago I was doing toys hunting, specifically I was looking for an exclusive NECA 4 packs Ninja Turtles (Turtles in Disguise), came in and talked with someone from electronic department. She seems nice and told me "Oh sorry but it has been sold out, we got 2 of them this morning and they're no longer here". Ok very typical response right? No problem. 3 months later, my friend sent me a picture from a group spotted the item I was looking for at Target Escondido, I jumped the gun and though it would be this location, so to save time I made a call to Target store. I wouldn't even recognize who was on the phone until the person started talking and using the same script she told me 3 months ago, then I realized she just sounded like a broken record for no reasons, if she didn't know, she should at least be honest and not made up something like that, because the fact that she did it proving she didn't care, maybe her job but not the customers who asking for help like me. This is normally the target I go to. Despite the renovations it is very aesthetically pleasing. Specifically the home decor isle. My only complaints would be how small the isles are in the beauty section. This might be because of the renovations. Another thing, the store is abnormally hot upon first entry. Yo this target be LIT. 5 stars. Nothing is in stock but the boxed water is, helps me look cool and edgy as I preach about being vegan and then pig out on some pork and beef. Ask for an employee and tell them they look good, I don't tell you how to do your job. Don't yell at the employees, if you think it could be done better. Target Escondido is a convenient location. I usually do drive up or walk in. They always have what I need and if they don't, I can always ship it or pick it up at the other Escondido location in the North County Mall. Employees are friendly and the place is kept pretty clean. read more

Adam and I came here to do our weekly shopping when we were exploring in the area. The store itself was pretty nice. They were missing some of the things we needed but we were able to put it off until the next week to get them at our normal Target. The staff was kind when we cashed out but there were such long lines to check out. Thankfully the staff was efficient and we got through the line pretty quickly. Overall, a pretty good store.
