We came here for a quick walk after celebrating a BIRTHDAY LUNCH next door at Shabuworks! And unexpectedly, we also had to use the RESTROOMS which were pretty clean by the way... After using the restrooms, we started BROWSING. The walkways were a bit narrow so if you see incoming traffic by pedestrians you will have to squeeze by each other quite UNCOMFORTABLY!... SERVICE: There's no greeting and I didn't see any staff in sight except at the cashier. It looks like everyone is focused on getting the job done and DONE on out of here! SELECTIONS: 5/10 I was shocked to see sofas that are slightly damaged and/or have STAINS on them still going for almost $1,000! And that is a RED FLAG for get the hell out of here! This place is a great place for get larger furniture, such as couches and tables for a discounted price. It's a warehouse atmosphere with large furniture items that are not sellable at full price. Items are sold AS IS and there are multiples sales here and there. It's worth checking out and I love coming here when I am in the area. Customer service has been great in my opinion. If you're looking for a particularly pricey item is a good place to shop. The smaller kitchen items though aren't as much at a discount and frankly many of the smaller items are at regular price which is disappointing. Great for larger pricey pieces, not worth it for other kitchenware and home decor. read more

I didn't realize the Carlsbad location moved here; I would regularly pop into that one for glassware, food storage containers, and dishes. I have not broken anything and I've owned the pieces for years, so I thought to see what sorts of cool things they have today. I did find pretty, wavy bowls, and a set of four was a bit less expensive than the individual prices. I saw some awesome Pyrex containers with wood lids (SO my vibe!), but I didn't get them as I need to figure out if I really need them first (the lids aren't very secure). We went in to the outlet and were happy to see the great quality for the attractive prices. Crate & Barrel has a good reputation for quality items but we had considered it to be out of our price range so the outlet was a wonderful option that thankfully was close to us. Brad walked us through the various couches and shared the differences between them. We had a bit of indecision and kept going back and forth between the couches but Brad was always happy to help as questions came up. They closed down their tiny location at the outlets and moved here. It's a much much larger location separated into two sides. One side is where the furniture sits while the other side is mostly their plates, cups, cooking utensils, towels, accessories etc. To be honest these furniture outlets are always a dice roll. 1 out of 10 times you'll walk out with an awesome deal on a piece of furniture you want. 9 out of 10 times you don't buy anything. This place has great steals on Crate and Barrel items. Yes, a lot of their furniture is there because it's a floor model, return, or damaged. But the heavily discounted prices make up for it. Just go with an open mind -- we ended up impulse buying a chaise that retailed for $2000 for less than $200. Also, they will refer you to coordinate the delivery through Lugg, etc, but the employees were super helpful about holding our furniture until the delivery slot that worked for us and we did not have to physically be at the store - just scanned the receipt and uploaded a photo of the furniture we bought for the movers and store employees to identify. read more

Most of the items here are in poor condition. I honestly can't believe the prices that they are asking with the damage that the items have. This applies mostly to the furniture, the home where and decor items are in good shape. Service was fine and they had a great selection, plenty of easy parking out front. Hit or miss with the finds depending on what you're looking for but overall worth the visit. Staff are helpful and friendly and there are so many great deals on items that are normally $$$$. One side is dining, coffee tables, sofas, dishes, linens and the restroom. The other side cabinets, media consoles, rugs, bed frames, desk, art work, lamps and patio furniture. Starts out around 30% off retails and drops in price from there 10% almost every 2 weeks. Some have damage and some do not. Pick up is in the back. On our quest to furnish our house we decided to check out this outlet on our trip down to SD. The warehouse is large and expansive with a good inventory of both large ticket items such as couches, dining tables, outdoor furniture as well as small knick knacks. As with any outlet you can't preview current inventory from a website you just have to frequent and get lucky. Most sales are final and items are "as-is". I highly suggest that prior to any outlet visit you have your measurements with you and proper transportation in case you buy something on the spot. A majority of the merchandise was discounted from 30% to 70% but note some items displayed cosmetic imperfections and blemishes. read more

This place is a rip off... they sell damaged/broken furniture under the disguise it is an outlet... we gave this place 3 visits to give it the chance of the doubt. 3 times were a disappointment, and my last visit a cockroach literally crawled on my leg while sitting on a chair. I understand it's an outlet and usually you expect items to be a little scratched or maybe have little stains that you can probably clean at home but they can't sell at the regular store...however, the items at this location are LITERALLY broken, every item is either visible damaged or has a missing leg, broken drawer, broken wood pieces and they still want 500$+ and their validation for this scam is that the OG price is $2,000+... with $500 you can just go to a the regular crate and barrel or cb2 and buy something else or use your money better... CB outlet needs to do better or just open a regular CB... is absurd to sell damaged things and more absurd to buy them at the price they are asking... most of the furniture here would go for 60$ on Craigslist... The only reason I gave an extra star to this place is because they also sell regular stuff like decor/kitchenware and that might be something ppl in the are might actually go there for. The staff is super sweet and nice! If you are not from the area, is not worth the drive. I came to the store yesterday, it was quite a few people there, came to the register and all 4 of them were assisting customers. I stood for about 5 minutes while someone was purchasing 50 dishes and the cashier was slowly wrapping them up, the other one was telling her life story to the customer while checking out. The gentlemen that came after me was assisted first. I had to pick up my kids on time so after standing there waiting for assistance I approached an employee that was working at the other terminal but was not a checkout counter. I politely asked if I could possibly check out with her, tall blonde lady with the glasses, she lifted her head and in a loud manner answered; "NO". She acted like I was an huge inconvenience and almost like I asked her for money. I was in shock, left the items was going to purchase behind and left the store. I was extremely disturbed by the treatment of that particular employee. If the store has more then the usual few customers their lines are extremely slow. Rude and not approachable staff. read more
