I wasn't even going to write a review but I think now i need to.. In Oct. of 2025 We decided to buy a new dining table and chairs.. Being the beautiful table I had was bar height we needed reg height.. I was looking on Sierra living Concepts and remembered Rustic home which we had been going to look there off and on for years.. So we went in. Ash was all to wonderful to us but as I described and showed pictures of what I had and what i wanted He said No problem we can do that I am and artist.. He was always so nice to deal with. Up until he got out CC which he seemed in a hurry to get. He knew the MAIN thing I wanted was caved skirting just like my other table which he said He could do no prob hand carved from India.. Everything went to shit after he received the CC. He delivered the table in Dec. and Not only did it have rough areas it had NO skirting .. Then came the excuses for almost 8 months! Finny after calls going down there threatening small claims, Ash finally had his guy pic up the table and one chair. he said 2 days LOL well 28 days later again my husband going down there he had the table delivered. My husband went and checked it out first.. I didn't want to go because I was so angry.. Well delivery guy was great. The table and new chair Excellent! fixed the right way.. However the skirting ? This was NOT what I asked for what so ever and they didn't put new on they scrolled the skirting that was already on it... Very sad we trusted Ash and honestly he jacked us around for 8 months.. If I had only known I would have ordered from Sierra living Concepts.. over $5K and something I wanted so bad screwed up and NOT done as Asked.. I unfortunately will NOT go back.. What a shame I really liked Ash too.. but typical sales man.. I wouldn't recommend if you want a custom piece .. Sadly the nice guy seems to be the one to screw you.. read more

Bought our living edge table back in Spring. It's now being repaired by another woodworker due to multiple cracking and the sapwood layer still containing rot. It was explained to us that our table we purchased from Rustic Homes was not done properly (removing rot, not sealed with commercial grade finish, etc). Also, we had to pay the people that moved our table into our home separately, when we thought the premium price we paid included delivery. All you'll receive is a handwritten sales slip and not a sales contract. Would recommend doing your research of reputable woodworker shops vs Rustic Homes for your living edge furniture. read more

I had been to the Rustic Furniture showroom several times. I spoke with Ash. He is so kind. I brought my husband in to look at a dining room set. It was made of Mango Tree. We wanted Acacia Wood. Ash, said we can custom make it just the way you want. We needed all water based products. My husband has allergies. Ash said, of course we can do that. We ordered it and 3 weeks later it was ready! This store has hundreds of great pieces. Many with the old world look and most are beautiful solid wood pieces. Not the usual particle board poor quality pieces seen at most furniture stores. I was remodeling a bathroom and was having a difficult time finding a floating vanity that would work in style, size, and color. I explained my requirements to Ash and he quoted a reasonable price and would do his best to meet my timetable for installation. Once I picked up the vanity, my contractor realized the vanity drawers were not shallow enough to bypass the plumbing, which had been installed before the vanity arrived. I have been dealing with Ash at Rustic home for the last few years. I have always been very happy with the service that I have received. I recently asked him to make some stuff for me. I had 2 end tables made and a wine rack they all turned out awesome. I just got done redoing my bathroom and I could not find a vanity that I liked so I asked Ash if he could build one for me. I gave him the dimensions and they got it done it fit the space great and looks fantastic. So far I have around 11 different pieces ( counting vanity I had it built in 3 pieces) only 4 were off the floor everything else they made. He also made the frames for the mirrors for over the vanity so that it would match the vanity. I would not hesitate to buy anything from Rustic Home again. If you don't see what you want on the floor they can build it for you. Ash is a great to deal with and the prices are good. read more

I searched high and low for a custom furniture builder in southern ca. I found Rustic Home. What a disaster !!. Ashawani gave me a quote and a 10-12 week lead time for the furniture as it is all made in India. After 6 months and countless false delivery dates it arrived. I was told I would have to come down and pick out the stain. When I arrived I was told it was already stained and varnished and that " I would love it". I did not. I wanted it to match my Dark walnut decor. I reluctantly took the Kitchen Table,Chairs,Beverage cart as well as three living room tables. All made of Mango. After a months I had broken two of the six chairs due to poor construction. I had told Ash i needed replacement chairs. He said he would fix it. A month later chair#3 broke. Ash told me he would have all 6 chairs built better than before. This was in january of 2023. I have still not heard back from Ash on the delivery date on the replacement chairs.
