The Target is convenient with a large parking lot. However, it's ridiculous that the they sell food expired long time ago. I should have checked the best by date before making the purchase, but still it's shockingly surprising to find out the food bought in September 2025 had already expired in September 2024. I do a lot of drive up orders with this Target but I think I'm about to stop this. They do not care about your stuff. There were two young ladies doing the drive up orders this evening. I greeted them showed my phone with the code and they preceded to place my belongings in the backseat. I get home and grab the items out of my car and start feeling dripping down my leg I'm like what is that? I open the bag all of my blueberries all flipped over open smashed inside the bag. Not the cleanest but there are worse Targets I've been to... customer service is okay. The only good customer service I've gotten from here would be whenever I'm in the electronic section, they are attentive and do ask if you need anything, looking for anything specific. They could be consistent about the price matching though. I asked to price match an album in the electronic section, they told me to go to the front to ask.. where all the registers were; and there was a rude blonde old lady who said that they could not price match. Poor customer experience! Cashier didn't even greet me or acknowledge me. Didn't even want to bag my groceries until I asked... Um, Sir, this is your job Would have gone to self checkout, but they had that closed. Only two registers open for the whole store. They also had the disinfecting wipes dispenser empty. Picking up anything from this store is a gamble. You would think after the first few issues I'd stop going but I think after my most recent experience I may have to avoid this target all together. I have done mostly curb side pick up's and I get half bottles of hair product, used makeup, used superglue, broken storage bins, or missing items all together. Went in to quickly grab a drink and snack and use the restroom however there were NO toilet paper in many of the stalls in the women's restroom midday about 3pm, one toilet in particular stopped up and gross. If it wasn't for a kind customer who took the liberty of opening her own toilet paper she purchased and giving out a few rolls, most of us would have been up Schitt's Creek. On the bright side, I like the quick self service station next to Starbucks w the hot foods and drinks. Bit of a burn hazard though for the hot aluminum shelf when grabbing food. I'm only here for the drive up pick up. I have been inside this Target numerous times and I definitely prefer it to the one in Hawthorne on 120th and Crenshaw. This location is always much more stocked and has a nicer collection of clothes and home foods read more

I like this Target as I have seen it cleaner, better organized and better service than the Target at Hawthorne near SpaceX. The price is lower by a couple of cents as well. I've noticed it on yogurts that I buy. read more

There is a lot that needs to improve. The first thing is the cleanliness of the bathrooms. I have yet to find the woman's bathroom clean. Even when you get there in the morning it's filthy and half the stalls are non functional. This store is very poorly stocked on staple items people need on a daily basis. They can't claim it's a supply chain issue because if you go a few miles down the street to Torrance they have it all in stock. These are my main issues. This store is close to home so that's why I hope it gets better but I doubt it will read more

This Target is big, and we'll stocked,but they have the worst customer service. Please do not order something for pick in store, or drive in. You will be waiting in line standing without being acknowledged. If you need to return something, expect to wait while one cashier "fixes" an unfinished order. They talk more than what they actually do. Usually one employee in customer service, or no employee helping. You will have to request someone to help you. Shopping in store, and self checkout is the way to go at this Target. read more

I thought this was a decent target. It's in a bit of a sketchy area it seems, but the store was clean and the employees were friendly. They have electrify America charging stations outside and they were actually working. There did not seem to be any vagrants living outside and I didn't catch anyone shoplifting. Do not, I repeat do not go to this target to pickup a drive up order if your in a hurry. Insanely slow service even when your the only there picking stuff up. I'm also not a big fan of why they let employees park in there drive up spots all day long? These same two ugly cars are parked in the drive up spots ever time in come here? As has been mentioned in several other recent reviews, this is the worst Target in the South Bay area (the one by the Galleria is a close second). Customer service is non existent, the shelves are poorly stocked, and the front check out area is an absolute mess. Recently stopped in here to get some storage bins. Of course there were no lids. Shelf literally says to ask for an associate. No one in the general area (of course) so I walked down to the electronics area where 4 associates were chatting. Asked if someone could check in the back and go hit with shoulder shrugs and the "if it's not on the shelf, then we're out of stock," line. No one bothered to go to the back to actually check or look up to see if a nearby store had them in stock. Then there's the parking lot. An absolute obstacle course with dips and speed bumps and three way stop signs. Nearly half of the front parking area is dedicated to Drive Up pickup and the Raising Canes built in the middle of the lot further adds to the congestion. If you're in the area and need to go to a Target, drive up Van Ness to 120th and go to the Target there. Ample parking, slightly better stocked shelves, and, well, the front end is still a mess. read more

Came here while I was waiting for a table at Lomeli's nearby. Parking was easy to find and there was a champurrado and elote guy in the lot so I knew this Target was going to be good and it was! They had a Starbucks inside so I got an iced coffee then I saw they had an Ulta and was on cloud nine. I shop at this Target pretty often and this was the first time I used a basket this dirty. I held back on buying groceries because I didn't want my groceries touching the filth. I asked the cashier how often do the baskets get cleaned and she said never. It's the customer's responsibility to wipe down the carts with the provided wipes at the door. I had no idea. 3 stars because everyone loves the variety of items they have at Target. Hence the "Target effect" where you always end up buying more things than you need. This store has a lot of space for parking, the lot is very long but recently it looks like they started construction to add another store at the east side of the lot. There are occasionally a few homeless or Big rig trucks that park deep in the lot because it's so spacious. Bordering Gardena and Torrance this place can feel a little ghetto at times, but it gets the job done. Staff isn't super friendly just get your stuff and pray the line isn't too long. Recently did pick up which worked well! Except the dude dropped my bag as he was walking out--be careful if you order glass items. Other than that the pick up was swift and convenient. read more

Although this target is decently stocked and clean, the employees are pretty darn lazy and don't care. I asked four times to have a case opened so I could buy an expensive item. I patiently waited each time after I asked, but after about 20-30 minutes of waiting, I was fed up. Parking lot is the worst thing about this place! Half of it is dedicated to Curbside Pickup, but every time I come here, there's less than 5 cars doing curbside. So inefficient! Sometimes you have to park way across the street at the Raising Canes, which gets congested on weekends. This store is also not well stocked. I see lots of empty shelves and the shopping experience is just overall sad. read more

I was so impressed when I walked into this Target. It's open, clean, organized, stocked up. I happened to be in the area for a doctor's appt and stopped in, and now I'll go the extra distance just to go to this Target. I normally go to Manhattan or Redondo, which are nice but not as well organized and stocked as Gardena. The staff is friendly too. read more

They really have stepped up the service at the drive-up here! Kudos to management who created a whole row of drive-up spots directly in front of the drive-up delivery area. Right now they are tearing up this parking lot, not sure why, assuming they are making either more drive-up or doing something about the drainage problem that occurs whenever it rains. This is the Target closest to my home, so it's convenient when I need to buy things. They are organized, clean, and the staff is friendly and efficient in getting customers checked out. I will say, they do take a little longer than other stores to restock items. I wish they would fix that. The parking lot is always busy, but it doesn't correlate to the amount of people in the store, so I always found that strange. Worst target. Everything is always out of stock even though it says available in store online, shelves are always empty and never restocked. If you want the item, you have to do a pickup in store option online and it will be magically available but if you try to go to shelf, nothing will be there. So it's like they force you to do pickup if you want anything or they have bad management that doesn't care to stock shelves. In addition, all the cashiers are so slow that you are always waiting in line for 20+ mins even at the self-checkout. There's only like 4 self checkout machines whereas other targets have more than double this amount. I've tried to go all different days of the week and hour and it's always the same. There can be 3 cashiers and a self-checkout and you will still be waiting for over 20 mins to checkout. You will never be able to do anything here quickly and get in and out. Even down to the pharmacy service is slow. There's always only two people at the pharmacy. One that's working in the back and one in the front. You're better off going to a real CVS if you can because these guys don't even know their own aisles of what they have there as if anything behind their counter is Target and not CVS so they don't know anything. They directed me to the wrong aisle and the pickup line was slow and all the over the counter medicine on the shelves have to be pulled out in such a way that you have to smash the box to get them off the shelf. I've never wanted to comment on a big chain store before, but this is the absolute worst and I really wish they'd do something about it here. The ONLY good thing is the pickup/return area. I don't mean to compliment that area on being quick or anything. I only want to compliment ONE woman in particular there that is always cheery no matter how many people she is dealing with a day and has to walk all the way to the back of the store herself to get your pickup because there's no one else to help her. This area is always a one person job. Someone needs to give her a raise because of how positive she always is whenever I see her and how great she is to each and every customer. read more

Chess and his pickup team are wholly incompetent. They gave our order to the wrong car. They insisted they did not. They then spent several minutes trying to retrieve it, which didn't work because they gave it to the wrong car. Chess the manager says he put it in the trunk. Trunk is opened and what do you know. The order is not there because they gave it to another car. Chess is dumbfounded because there was another car that looked like ours. No kidding. More than one white SUV? You don't say. That's why he is supposed to check the confirmation code and the sign number. 30 minutes after arrival and all this goes down until they finally admit they gave it to the wrong order and start assembling the order. Just decided to leave because these people can't be trusted to deliver a bag to the car in front of the correct sign so how could they take on a task as complicated as locating several items? I only used this store for drive-up because the store is such a headache and the parking lot is always so crowded but I'll just use Redondo Beach Target forever. read more
