Felix was AMAZING! I came in looking for maternity jeans I had seen online and asked for help finding them. Felix explained that what I was seeing was returns, they don't actually keep maternity jeans in stock. I was really disappointed but then he offered to grab some choices for me to try on so I can find something I like!! I ended up trying on 8 pairs of pants and buying 2 from the store, then ordering one online. It was such a good feeling to wear jeans instead of leggings! I really hope H&M knows what a great employee they have in Felix. He was kind, courteous, and truly went above and beyond, digging through boxes in the back for me. I visited H&M today to return an item, and unfortunately the experience left me feeling very uncomfortable and anxious. The supervisors I interacted with were rude, dismissive, and lacked basic customer service skills. Instead of feeling helped, I felt judged and stressed during a simple return process. I understand retail can be busy and difficult at times, but kindness and professionalism go a long way. December 13, 2024 | Torrance: H&M is always a fun store to stop by when I'm at the Del Amo Mall! This location is huge, with an upstairs and a downstairs! I started downstairs and eventually went upstairs! The moment I went upstairs, stepped inside and locked eyes with a sweater set, both fuzzy and cozy looking, top and skirt, had to try it on! Dressing Room: Super friendly greeting from the dressing room attendant as she showed me to my room! The moment I tried on the outfit, knew I had to have it! The lighting is amazing in the dressing room, along with several mirrors to see all angles!! Checkout: The store was super busy, so there was a bit of a line, but it went quickly as there was a person at each three registered! I understand it's holiday season, but not one word spoken from the associate at check out is insane. Such a bad experience on today's visit with a female employee and female manager this morning at the main register trying to return some items. I had already gone previously to return them but you need the card you paid with and money doesn't automatically go back like any other store. The gentleman who helped me said I could use any card but I had left my wallet behind. Upon today's return she asked to see my card to make sure it was the same one I said to her it's not the same last 4 number because I used Apple Pay. She asked to see my wallets app on my phone! To which I replied it was my husbands phone I don't have it. I assured her it was the same account regardless. She said well I need to go get approval if it can even happen! She brings her manager who already has a negative look on her face due to the situation. I explained what happened and to make matters worse the card had been lost and recently replaced with the one I had. She asked to see proof of that replacement!!!! At this point I'm livid, I'm pregnant I have my two small children with me this was supposed to be a quick return and go. I said are you serious I don't carry proof around! She asked me to search in my emails for something. I did, I found an email and I showed it to her to which she asked can you show that the number of the card replaced match!!!! Omg really! Biggest H&M I have ever seen - 2 stories! I was shopping on the Saturday after thanksgiving and I was surprised to find the store very clean. Items were still organized. Clothes on tables were perfectly folded and they still had plenty of items in stock. I was able to find a few items I did not need but obviously purchased. In recent years, though I managed to find a few gems, I noticed the fabric of their shirts, dresses, etc. have become thinner barely lasting a couple of years & the sizes have become even smaller (e.g. size 12 seems like a 10 or even 8). :-O I like their multi-packs of joggers, Ts, jersey shirts, skinny jeans, 2-piece sets... they're a great value & offers layering ease, especially for my daughter. From its original outdoor space to its renovated indoor location, the store seems more organized & less disheveled, but there were more floor salespersons roaming more frequently at the former spot. Service is uneven... from attentive (helping me find a size from their back room or directing me to special sales racks) to lackadaisical (double charging errors or reminding the cashier of markdowns). With COVID-19, this fashion giant is planning global store closures so we've been shopping more online; I haven't been back since spring. H&M offers a decent selection of stylish clothes & accessories at fairly affordable prices for the whole family... I'm an irregular customer that randomly shops by whim for my LOs. read more

YELP 100 CHALLENGE 2018 - PART 2: 34/100 I rarely shop at the mall (not really my thing) but Godkid was in pursuit of a job interview outfit. She wanted to come here. Why not. Although it's been years, I remember the last time I was in one of these and I remember enjoying an impromptu stop because they were going through some mad sale - like they were liquidating their products to make room for more, that sort. I had no intentions of buying anything, but there were a couple of things I couldn't resist; 50% of $34.99 shoes, $10 sleeveless ruffled top, $1 choker...?!?! I couldn't NOT get 'em! The one disappointment, though: I saw a pair of shoes on a mannequin I really REALLY wanted. So, I asked a staff member where those were stashed at. Her response: "Oh... we don't carry those shoes at this store..." Well. That makes sense. Oh, no, wait... IT DOESN'T. It wasn't a busy day and there was only on person behind the cashier. I guess he was too busy to ring me up because I ended up waiting for someone else to handle the task. Otherwise, can't really comment on staff. I won't knock 'em out of my shopping go-to's, though. Or extremely skinny mature adult-unless you're middle aged & anorexic and like looking like a teenager with rips and extreme low waist lines, they're quality in jeans has gone down fast since they first came out here. (My daughter came back from London & said their H&Ms are bigger and quality waaay better) but their Jean quality and selection went down...to me. Granted I'm an old fart, what the hell happened? And size 14? Did it shrink to size 10? That's if you find anything in a size 14, I barely saw 12s. They have cute stuff for the young, I think Forever 21 has a little better quality, huge selection and sizes. But I don't like their jeans either. For what it is, H&M is the best. It's head above shoulders the best discount but fashionable chain. Zara provides some competition but doesn't have the wide range of subcategories H&M offers. Today was opening day of the new H&M location within the new wing of the renovated and highly anticipated Del Amo Mall. Very shiny, very hip. The store looks small from the outside but is deceivingly large once inside. This store is two levels high with ladies spanning both levels, kids on level 1 and men on level 2. Beauty (Shut up! I had no idea H&M sold makeup!) and accessories on level 2. Escalators and elevator (fits strollers) in store. There were opening day sales in each category. Like $5 flats, $20 sun dresses, $7 kids sweaters. And the best DJ spinning pop hits. It was a good day! read more

I am not a fan of this store at all but purchased my first piece of h&m clothing today. I have been searching for a new denim jacket for forever now and found the long lost one I have been looking for. The price tag was a little steep $34.95 but is still cheaper than other ones I have tried on. I just hope it lasts as long as my $9.99 denim jacket from the gap. I am a self-professed H&M addict. Even if the clothes are hideous and tacky, I will be like, "But it's H&M! It's Swedish! I LOVE YOU." Quite simply, H&M is the IKEA of clothing. The clothes and accessories are simple, stylish, and economical. What I love about this particular location is that there are separate stores (although connected and/or across from each other) for each family member, just as it is done in Sweden. In Sweden, you will often see multiple H&M stores along the same street - and that's because they carry different "styles." At this location, there's a men's store, a child/baby store, and a women's store. And there is actually a very decent selection in all of these stores, too. This H&M location is my go-to for buying baby clothes for my friends' children. The prices are very good for what you are getting. I recently spent $30 here for a complete outfit for my friend's baby. And I love this, because when I pick out baby clothes, I try to think of what I would want to wear. So the clothes are usually stylish (but also tacky at times, lol). The accessories are my favorite part of this store. They have such a good selection of earrings, necklaces, scarves, cheap bags, etc. I am constantly complimented on my earrings, and I always proudly say that they are from H&M. Only complaint (because I have to have at least one, even for a 5-star review), TURN ON THE A/C! I don't know what it is about H&M, but it's ALWAYS hot up in here. This store is a great one when it comes to selection and the amount they receive. HM has gotten a little big for being able to keep up image standards as well as finding staff that actually has a little care for the work environment they are in. This mall haven't even been open a year and they have let the cleanliness slip. See attached pictures of dust and trash being left all over he store. Hving gotten hooked on H&M while living in NY which has tons of huge H&M stores I was REALLY excited they were finally putting on near me. However i was really dissapointed with the selection at this particualr store and it's smaller then most others. I scored a set of cute bangles but that was about it. I've since been to the new H&M in Westifield shopping center in Cuvler City and while parking is more of a b!tch it is larger and better selection. read more

The prices are reasonable and the fashions are up to date and trendy. The quality of the clothes is not as high but you get what you pay for. Rude Associate! We were appalled by the cashier's behavior at the register. We were told that we could not donate clothes unless we were members and we could only donate up to 4 bags. She threw the bags as if they were disgusting. I called customer service to ask if there was a limit of donations. Another stop during our mammoth Del Amo walking tour. I was told Filipinos went crazy and completely mobbed the H&M store when it opened in Manila. My other half never made it to the store in Manila, so was quite excited to explore this one. This is a large two story store which has tons of clothing and accessories for kids, teens and adults of both genders. There was helpful staff not too far away when I had any questions. The store was well organized and from what I saw, pretty clean, which is always a plus. After looking around the majority of the items in the store, we ended up buying a pair of jeans and 2 dress shirts. The jeans were $20 and fortunately the shirts were 50% off. First time shopping here and definitely will not be my last. They have great selections and better prices. It's pretty big two stories, it's just a little too overcrowded with stuff, and when you add the mass of people and their kids AND their strollers it's straight up anxiety. Next time I will shop during the weekday, the weekend is out the question. Customer service was great and I also learned if you bring in a bag of donated clothes you get a 15% coupon for your next visit. If I would have known this long time ago I would have been shopping here, I think it's a really great concept. read more

I really don't like that the store is separated. Having the girls' side and the guys' side across the hall from each other makes it a hassle for me to shop... especially when my Husband is in the guys' side. This makes it difficult for me to make my Husband pay for all of my findings when he is across the hall looking for his clothes. Sure, I can just pay for it myself, but there is no fun in that!! I haven't been back to Del Amo for a while because I never really like shopping anywhere else but at XXI, but my best friend & I (plus my baby) went today & we walked in from the promenade to see that H&M was finally open! I almost fainted. I seriously fell in love with all their baby boy clothes that I just started picking up everything. I'm so happy they've opened! Gosh, this place is going to empty my wallet. The store is separated in half (into two stores); if you're walking in from the outdoor promenade, the women's section is on your right, and the men's / kids' / babies section will be on your left. H&M allows me to feel like a total baller for some pretty lowball prices. I wasn't always the biggest fan of H&M's emphasis on the slim, fashion-forward silhouette, but then again, I used to be a pretty husky fella. I suppose that dieting and exercise have allowed me to develop a newfound appreciation for all things Euro-skinny - H&M included. I've found more than my fair share of outrageous deals at this particular H&M, including a slim-fitting blazer that was priced at $20 - a fraction of its original cost of $150! The build quality and materials of H&M products are pretty reasonable, especially when factoring in the prices - which are often obscenely cheap. Other highlights of past visits include some $25 collared dress shirts and the store's unexpectedly schnazzy selection of suspenders - a nostalgic touch of class to any formal/dressy outfit! I've scrolled through some of the reviews of this particular H&M location, and many people seem to have issues with the level of service offered here. From my experience, the staff members here have been friendly, gracious, and pretty down for striking up conversation. Of course, some of these visits have been during total downtime - in the middle of the afternoon on weekdays, so these circumstances may have factored in to the overall experience, as well. In closing, when I don't feel like rocking my python-trimmed Balmain jacket and calfskin Louis V sneakers out to da club, the Torrance H&M offers me a more-than-capable substitute (at least when it comes to dress wear!). read more

Decent sized H&M. The women's section is a separate store than the men's and kid's sections across the way. This store is messier than others like the one at Third Street Promenade. However, it has more variety than the newly opened H&M at Plaza El Segundo. Store hours listed say that they close at 9pm, but the other time I was here, they were closing at 8:05pm.
