Urban Outfitters is a great fit for the Town Center Mall. It think it's pretty cool with the majestic entrance that towers above you when you walk in. It nicely stands out as a place you WANT to visit. I've been here a few times. Didn't purchase anything on this day since the men's section is so limited. But I hope to go pick up that awesome John Denver t-shirt that's seen in the display window in one of my photos! But I do like what they have to offer men. The shirts and jeans they offer are truly set for solid street wear. I may adjust from some of my 511 wear and pick up some of these! But in reality, Urban Outfitters is really more focused on appealing to females, with a very large selection for them. I'd say about nearly three quarters of the store is devoted to them. My dearest likes to check things out here on occasion and found something she liked a few months back. Overall, there are jeans, dresses, various accessories of all kinds, belts, hats, all waiting for customers to purchase. I've experienced chatting with the crew who run the shop on occasion and they're generally enthusiastic and willing to assist and see that you get a good deal if one's available. I think the value of the clothing, accessories -- all that Urban Outfitters offers falls into similar value in quality of pricing as many other shops of its kind at Town Center. It seems to fall into a $50-$150 range, and for a mall and with the pretty high quality and appearance of the the street clothing that's offered here, I'd say that's pretty fair overall. My daughter was shopping and had a few items she wanted to try on. It was 8pm. They said they were closed and that she couldn't. The sign on the door posted 9pm. Google also says 9pm as well as Apple Maps. When I brought this to the employees attention they said "they are aware of it and don't know how to get it changed". I said if you are closing before your posted time and you are aware of it when you have customers still in the store holding clothes, you should announce it, maybe ask if they want to try clothes on before they close before the posted advertised time. The best was the reply. "She can come back tomorrow". If I had my way never again, but I know my daughter will be back because she loves shopping there. We left without causing a scene. My daughter didn't want me to as she would get embarrassed. Still not right in my book. read more

If I'm at The Town Centre, I never fail to stop in Urban Outfitters. Even if I have no intention of making a purchase, I still have to stop in here just to look around and see what new things they have for me to check out. Yes, they have clothes, but they don't have the in my size, so I don't really pay attention to those at all. I come to look at all the odd, goofy goodies they have. It's like Spencers on crack! They just have some really hilarious items in here. I'm not even going to try to mention everything I can think of, so instead, go take a look at all the photos that have been uploaded for this business and that will give you an idea. They also sell albums here. Yes, you kiddos probably don't know what those are. Vinyl. Ooooooooo! Ahhhhhhhhhhh! It kills me to see how ridiculous the prices are on the vinyl, but it's still neat to flip through all the albums like I did back in the 80s. This store almost makes me feel like a teenagers again. I also found a really bad a$$ painting in here one time that was only like $40 and I'm still kicking myself because I didn't buy it! I thought I was having one of those "I just gotta have it moments" but it turned out I really did want it. It would have went lovely with the decor of my home. Oh well. Darnit! I'll keep coming in here and browsing the art too, maybe I'll one day find something equally as good! How have I not reviewed UO?! It's my absolute FAVE clothing store. Like, favorite in the entire world! UO kills it with the grungy, yet modern boho/hipster vibe, being consistently on-trend and casual-chic, carrying awesome accessories, and quirky artwork and home-decor items. Also UO covers the spectrum by also offering more minimalist and sophisticated pieces. They have it all, and I want it! I can always find something great, funny, novelty, and/or offensive in this store. (Sometimes in tandem!) When I'm visiting any major city I've gotta' take a peek inside the local Urban Outfitters! Yes, they're a bit pricey but I love that you can always find uncommon, quality pieces. That's worth the price to me. They have a killer sale section with great selection to boot! I liken UO to shopping a huge boutique that just so happens to be a chain. If you're up for a dependable mix of trendy, basic, and sometimes "a little out-there" offerings (like myself), then Urban's your store! What can I say... It's a love affair! read more

Every Time I'm at the Town Center I have to stop by and look around in Urban Outfitters, love looking at all the small gifts they have and always tend to purchase something when I just go in to look lol. There is parking right behind the store so you don't have to walk far, I ways used to park in the Target parking lot and finally realized there was a parking lot nearby. read more

Surprised. Coming from the crazy crowded three story UO I frequent in Union Square in San Francisco... this sparsely filled one level locale was a little odd to say the least. Mainly due to the fact that on a Friday night at 8 PM, I was the ONLY SHOPPER. (Cue Twilight Zone theme music). But emptiness aside... the sales staff was among the friendliest and most down to earth I've ever dealt with in a UO. No attitudes here, more like a little boredom. The store seems to only house about a quarter of most UO's inventory... but the inventory they do have is displayed attractively (albeit a little randomly) and I didn't have any problem finding several items I wanted to try on. Speaking of the dressing rooms, they're great! Really spacious and comfortable with good lighting and a good sized mirror- I was impressed. Overall, by the looks of it, Jacksonville may not have been quite ready for an Urban Outfitters. But I sure am glad it's here, even if it is a little dinky. Awe... the comforts of home! read more

I hate to lower my review because of one staff member, but I am going to just because of how negative the experience was. I will not go into details, but the lady who was working the fitting room the last time I went in was extremely disrespectful. She seemed like she was trying to act clever and out to prove something to the customers, as well as assumed personal things about myself that affected the way she treated me. It ruined my whole day and I will only ever shop at UO online now (or in-person at other stores, never this one again). It's such a shame because the store typically is clean and well-maintained, and I had good experiences with every other staff member I came across. I can handle when someone has a bad day or a little bit of an attitude, but the way that person treated me was unlike anything else I've come across before. read more

Apparently some time ago, Urban Outfitters started selling some Korean beauty products. I recently learned of this when my friend dragged me into the store so she could stock up on her face masks. This store sells a limited variety of Tony Moly products and for cheaper than Sephora. I used to stop by every once in a blue moon to see what cute/funny/bizarre things they had in the store, but I will be stopping by a little more often now, esp now that I know they have Korean beauty products and for cheap! read more

I feel like Urban Outfitters is the younger twin siblings to Anthropologie. I say twins, because they have both men's & women's clothing, while Anthro caters specifically to the female gender. I fell in love with UBOF long before it landed in Jacksonville and was very happy when it decided to open here. I love their t-shirts - mainly their mens selection - because who doesn't want a TMNT tshirt? I know I do. When I'm shopping at UBOF, I'll admit I do a lot of it online because I like some of the home furnishings they have that you typically can't find in the store. I've had two different sets of window panels from UBOF and they matched my house/taste./preference perfectly. When I need a fun gift for a friend with a sense of humor, UBOF can usually cover me. From books, to tshirts, to shot glasses, to drink ware, to gadgets. You can find it all. read more

This is a fun shop with moderate to high priced clothing. For the edgy guy or gal this is a sure spot to look. Sweaters of all types and styles, newest look in jeans , dresses, skirts and some of the sexiest undies outside Victoria's Secret. Shoes, all types of accessories for the hair and just stuff for your personal space and for true audiophiles vinyl album. Just a fun spot to look at. This store is so much fun not only to shop in, but just to browse around as well. There are so many things that you'd never expect to find all under the same roof, it makes you just laugh at some of the items you happen to come across while you are looking around this odd mix of a store. It has clothing for both men and women, jewelry, accessories, beauty items(such as hair products, nail polish, makeup, etc.), as well as books, journals, drinking items(no liquor though), snow in a can(yep I said it snow in a can really exists!..although it is seasonal), cd's, party supplies, and the list goes on. I could probably spend a few hours just browsing around this place, and if not careful end up spending a lot of money here to, thankfully if you come here on a good day chances are you will have a great shot at getting stuff on sale or on clearance which is always a plus! I ordered a banana neon light online... I ordered a banana neon light online from here. Upon arrival the box was damage the light had discoloration and although it lights up when plugged in the wiring is exposed. I called customer service and explained to them and they said they no longer carry this item so I requested a return label. They did refund me the money. I couldn't find this light anywhere else so my son in law said he could repair it to be safe so I contacted them again and told them I would like to keep it but at a discount being that it was clearly something returned once and damaged. They said they would contact me back but instead they charged my credit card right back with a $10 discount. Without EVER eraching our to me first to see if this was agreeable. Once again I called back to dispute the charge which in turn they said that's the best they can do. The reps were always polite but the way of handling this was so poor. It was an unauthorized charge I didn't agree with at all.so now I have the option of returning or keeping it. POOR QUALITY CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. Will never allow my daughter to shop here again and will make sure to share my experience any chance I get with friends,family and or websites. This place always has great things that are fashionable for all type of people but focus on the trendy more Indy look. They had a great deal on new balance shoes for 39.99 usually they are 80.00. They also have a great sales section if you are looking for a deal, and the people working there are more than willing to help you if you need any plus they will ask you if you would like help if you are really starting to like something.
