Today, I drove a long distance to this store because they carry the Vital Pursuit frozen meals I wanted, and I also picked up some chicken. When I got home and started dividing the chicken into portions, I immediately realized it was completely rotten. Having this happen a second time is unacceptable. I'll be returning the chicken tomorrow, and after two experiences with spoiled meat, I won't be shopping at this location again.

When I arrived parking was convenient. There are a ton of spaces available. I was a little bummed about their Christmas stock. There weren't a ton of items there. It's still not December, so maybe they'll have a chance to add some items to this section. I will say, Dollar Tree is no longer the $1.00 tree, or the $1.25 tree, it's not the multiple dollars tree. Items range from $1.25 to at least $7. Which is a bummer. I did go over to their birthday section and was able to get some birthday candles, balloons, and streamers for an upcoming birthday. It is a home away from home as we're warmly greeted when entering and provided a clean sanitized cart. Publix store is clean, well-organized, with great prices, Buy One Get One Free (BOGOs), large spacious aisles, plenty of competent and friendly cashiers, lots of parking, great location, and best of Associates who go out of their way to help you, the customer. Customers get the best of best quality service and product. Very much a team effort from top to bottom. A great book called A Piece of the Pie: The Story of Customer Service at Publix explains what that premier service is and how the company's associates make it happen. Wide selection of bakery items, produce, goods, etc. I love getting the sushi there as it's always fresh and they do $5 sushi Wednesdays too. My favorite sushi is the crunchy roll! I l also love their pastries and my all time favorite is the guava cream cheese one. The store has a pharmacy too (I occasionally fill my medications and get my vaccines here) and a deli. I love Publix's fried chicken and subs! My favorite sub is the holiday one (it has bacon, cranberry sauce, turkey, etc.) and it's divine! The customer service is usually really great, happy, fast, attentive, and above and beyond. However, if you go in the evenings, the customer service can be a bit rude and inattentive. There were multiple instances, where I've went between the hours of 8-8:30pm and the employees definitely acted like they did not want to be there. One time, the cashier didn't even greet me and when I politely said "thank you" to him after he rang up my items and gave my receipt, he just proceeded to ignore me and talk to his other co-worker. I've noticed that at night, some of the employees like to hang around and gossip. Only reason I'm knocking off one star. If you go throughout the day though, everything is great! Plenty of parking available. It's located in a small shopping center. I love how conveniently close it is to our house, but I will say, prices are pricier than other grocery chains like Aldi or Walmart. I would say Publix prices are on par with Target. But they do BOGO deals often here.

I've been frustrated for a while with the wrapping paper rolls at Target. They look like normal…read morerolls at first glance, but many of them barely have enough paper for one or two presents while still being priced like a regular roll. Today's purchase was especially disappointing. The roll was already small, but the packaging made the first several inches completely unusable. The edges of the paper were glued together, and there was a large sticker attached directly to the wrapping paper. When I removed the sticker, it tore the paper and ruined even more of the roll. For something as basic as wrapping paper, this feels wasteful and overpriced. Customers should not have to lose a noticeable portion of an already small roll because of poor packaging. I took photos showing the glued edges and torn paper, because this was not just a minor inconvenience. I would not buy Target wrapping paper again unless the packaging and amount of usable paper improve.
