I had a drive up order I needed to pick up. When I arrived, I went onto the app, let them know I was there to pick up my order, put in my spot number and type of car. It took less than five minutes for someone to come to the car, ask for my code, and then hand me my items. A recommendation, due to this time of the year being when people are Christmas shopping, I'd recommend that Target double bag or put toy items in their red bags. Sometimes I have to bring me kiddo with me, and I don't want to give up the magic of Christmas because his item is visible (I will say, normally they do a better job of concealing toys during pickup trips). read more

I actually ran in and out just before work. I needed a shirt with pink in it in hobor of Breast cancer awareness month. My month died of breast cancer. While in Target, I got 2 blouses for my wife and an outfit for my grandson. I love, love, love running into Targee and not working up a sweat. No lines around 1:30 pm in the afternoon. Anyone else just stroll the clearance endcaps from time to time? That's me- when I am killing time or just wanting to shop for unknowns! You never know what you "need" that's on clearance! I also love Target for clothes, shoes & kitchen accessories! I recently grabbed a pair of boots and a couple shirts all on clearance! That are must visit spots. No, this is not a Super Target. However, it's quite large. Starbucks is at the main entrance of the premises. Restrooms, service desk. Gift Registration kiosk. For Baby Showers, and other events. You may need assistance. They will be glad to help you. The shopping carts are at the main entrance. Inside the store. *** FYI: Sanitary Wipe Dispenser. Is located away from the carts. I've noticed this at most Target Stores. (You Have To Look Around Before You Find These. NOT CONVENIENT) Keep in mind. How many little ones, sit on those cart seats w/the sniffles:-( Their is a wide variety of products. Very well organized and displayed. The Staff is friendly, eager to assist. I want to thank the cashier, James, specifically. I have been shopping at Target for a long time and this was the first time I heard about the savings on the app. I'm sure if I didn't have such a busy life I could have slowed down and figured that out myself, but I haven't. Very thankful to James for showing me the tricks on how to save on children's toys/books. He got my price dropped from $90 to $60 by the time I was done. Needless to say that I will be back to purchase a lot more books and toys within the next couple weeks to prep for Christmas. I pre-ordered a pickup from this Target a couple of weeks back thinking it would be convenient to just go in and pick up an item that my local Target didn't have. When I arrived I walked over to customer service and got in the line that was pickup and nobody was at the desk. By the time someone got to the desk there was a line in the returns aisle line for customer service. She helped the first person which was fine, but then 2nd, and then the 3rd, until I was finally like "excuse me... I'm here for a pickup.". I was after all spending money and not taking it back. Boy did the young lady give me a nasty look, but I was there before the returns line formed. IMO someone should have been at the desk all the time and not have left it unattended. The store itself is typical super Target fashion with all the stuff you expect; with slightly higher prices than Walmart. The cashier I had after I got a few more items was pretty nice, so I can't let the customer service employee reflect badly on the rest of the staff. read more

This is usually my favorite place to shop, it's close to home and right next to Aldi, therefore it's convenient. I was looking for particular hair product tonight so I went straight to the hair section but wasn't able to find it. I asked one of the employees to help me look for it, she looked on her little iPad and then to go to the back to find the item. Luckily there was only 1 left, so I got it even though the box was damaged. I browsed through the make up section like always and found some bathbombs on clearance along with other beauty products at a heavily discounted price, which were nice. Standing in line at the cashier, the lady was checking out the customer in front of me and wasn't being very nice or helpful. When it was my turn, she checked me out, then continued her personal conversation with the other cashier, which made me felt a little uncomfortable, oh well.. hopefully my next experience at Target will be better. read more

I do like this Target. It's set up differently than the one I'm used to, so I do get a bit turned around. The employees are usually polite, if you can find them. I've been here at different times of the year, holidays and regular, and have been impressed at how clean they can keep it. It always is well stocked and organized. I know if "my" Target doesn't have something, this one usually will. The parking lot is a nightmare, but that isn't their fault. read more

I've only been in this location a few times, but I've always had a good experience. It's Target; therefore, most of the time it's going to be good. There's only one bad one in town that I'm aware of (I'm looking at you Regency). Clean, friendly employees, and most importantly, it's not Walmart. On my last visit here, I was looking for a limited edition item and there was an employee who went way above and beyond helping me look for it. Let me start by saying that I am a frequent flyer here LOL. I typically switch off from this one and another location, both equally as close to my home. I love this location because I have always had great luck with finding items in stock compared to other locations. This time in particular I was shocked at how many registers they had open and how quickly I got through. I am not generally asked by many employees if I need any help though. While generally I know exactly what I'm looking for, I do feel that it's great customer service to have employees acknowledge me and say hello even if I don't look like I need help. Today while in the Girls dept looking for a jacket I did have multiple employees pass me or attend to racks nearby and not really acknowledge I was even there. I will continue to shop at this location because my experiences are generally great! read more

I frequent this location and it is by far one of my favourites. I think the thing about the place is the convenience near my home. Oddly enough, this is the place there I am greeted the most. Maybe because the staff recognize me? Everything is easy to find and right where you would expect it. The layout is similar to others so it's no strange place. One of the main reasons why I wanted to right this is the amount of customer service to not only the customers but service to one another. I've witnessed some newer staff members struggle when it was busy, but the tenured people are always there to help if they fall. In all target will always have me as a customer, til the end. I even wander around if I don't need anything since something will always catch my eye! read more

Its under construction so who knows what it'll look like in the coming weeks. This is a Super Target location so theres the usual stuff. There's also the usual stuff in case you run out of socks, toothpaste or dish soap. There's a private lot so parking is a breeze. The footprint is a little on the sm. side but works. read more

This is actually a nice smaller target on the southside. It is on Southside Ave not far from the Avenues Mall. This is a regular target with some fresh groceries. The store is a nice size and has pretty much everything you would expect from Target. The employees are fairly friendly and they are readily available. The lines can get a bit long, especially on weeknights. Use the cartwheel app on your phone to save on items you may buy anyway. It is also a great way to find a good deal. There is a Target Café inside. There is also a photo area where you can print your pictures. read more

(Continued from last Review) We then call a different Target store [San Jose Blvd.], to see if a different Target Optical would know how to reach Management. Customer Service rep, had difficulty getting us connected to Optical, and they transferred us to CVS, because they thought CVS was in charge of Optical. We then asked for Store Manager, who stated they don't know who manages Optical department. The next day, we drove to this San Jose store, and talk to 2 different Optical employees, who gave us history of every employee, but they weren't sure how to reach the right person. They do advise us that the Doctor[???] Nguyen lost her Contract, that it would not be renewed, and no longer would be leaving the end of July. One of the employees wrote our contact info on a piece of tissue, and advised she would have someone call us the following day. We were also advised an employee or two were on vacation! After months of Covid-19 closures, and company excuses for poor customer service due to Covid-19, how can they let management employee go on Vacation. Exactly where do you vacation with Covid-19? As we never heard back, we tried 2 days later to reach someone. The Target store we first went to, advised us the only info they can reach someone at Target Optical is by email. I wrote to the address they had for a District Manager - a Vanessa Rivera [one of the vacationing employees], but unfortunately they didn't have correct email and it was sent back. After calling back to San Jose store, we get in touch with a gentleman named Val - he couldn't do anything to help us, but he advised as his manage Vanessa was in vacation, he would reach out to her boss to calm us. At 5pm Friday, we hear back from a Gregg, who totally wastes our time, because at the end of the call, he advised us Vanessa has to call us on Monday - he explains he doesn't work for Vanessa and is not her boss either. So apparently, a customer is supposed to know Target Optical company structure, when their own employees don't know. Greggs solution was to go to a different Doctor[???] for free. What part of "free" is it, as we were already charged $69 for torture, and abuse! Greggs only concern was that he be able to reimburse Doctor[???] at a different store, not give us customer service. We requested Greg to give us a refund on the $69, as we would not trust another Doctor[???] at Target Optical! Doctor[???] now claims she has no info on our visit! Doctor[???] has no idea how to void out a transaction, and won't call credit card company to learn! By the way, no promised callback from Vanessa Rivera on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday! No return call from Greggs manager, and no credit issued. Target has always caught my eye as a better superstore: great customer service, more organized, nicer people, great items and deals! Even though the prices are slightly more expensive, sometimes they have good deals along with it. I came here to shop some last minute baby shower gifts and supplies for the party. Very easy to move around the vicinity and spacious (during slow peak). The bathrooms were clean and easy to find, plus having a nice snack area where you can buy some food & popcorn. My fiancé and I went to the baby section and here are plenty of diaper brands you can choose from. Usually they always have deals on these. This time it was Buy 2 get $10 target giftcard for the mega big boxes. The other items such as name brand nipplers are a little difficult to determine what is what. I had the baby registry with me and sometimes the description doesn't match and the prices are different than the items online. We only got 2 other items besides diapers and that's it: diaper genie and bottle sponges. After that, we went to find gift cards for game prizes and there were some good selections. I had a hard time deciding what to get as I didn't want to spend too much time or money on them (because I already spent a lot on other supplies and cake). Luckily, a staff overheard us and suggested there were more giftcards near the DVD aisle. We were delighted and said thank you and walked over. A lot more options to choose from and I was done with the gift cards. Walked towards the food area and passed by the produce section which was very nice. We were done, paid and checked out. The good thing about target is that they have a Loss Prevention associate at the door to check your items and receipts. It was the first time I saw them, but I believe from my business class (long ago) is that they do it on random days or training new associates (unless Target changed their policy to be there everyday now). I recently moved into the area and have been visiting this Target more often. The location is very convenient. There is an Aldi's right next door and if you need something for your home there is also a Home Depot AND a Home Goods just steps away. This Target recently renovated almost everything in their store. It certainly feels like a slightly more luxe shopping experience here compared to other Target's. The shopping experience is always great and the staff is very friendly. The only downside is that parking can get a little wild sometimes but that's usually expected at a great shopping location. Other people usually find out about the secret which makes it more crowded. read more

Cheap chic and the one place where you can try to remain focused and spend less but come out with more and and spent just the same. Staff is always pleasant and the aisles are free from clutter and items waiting to be put away by the staff on payroll (a la Walmart). There's a new re-merchandised floor in men's where the positioning of the product and how you maneuver and view things is better. I noticed that effective change immediately. The staff appear well trained to welcome you and offer assistance. Scan checkers throughout for the curious accurately functioning, and aisles kept clutter free. It doesn't matter whether I'm in the 17 South, Southside or Town Center Store, they are well maintained and someone will assist if they're in the vicinity of your shopping. With that being a positive and the norm, I didn't receive the warmest of welcome or acknowledgment from one of the Southside location associates. From the moment I parked my vehicle as he was cart corralling, I got the "stink face" as I met his eyes and said good afternoon and was met with a semi eye roll. I admit it made me smirk and chuckle and mutter under my breath that he obviously doesn't dig this cart coral. Our next in passing meeting was my going from and his coming into electronics. Eyes met, I smiled again and again Mt. Rushmore in a red vest shifted his eyes away. Maybe I'm way to cordial for his taste as he chose a customer service based job/career. Whatever, I chuckled at the 2nd diss. Our last and thankfully final sharing of the same space was at checkout. His luck that as the two open registers filled up he and a lovely young lady were summoned to open up the two customer service (lol, yes irony he was sent to the customer service counter) registers to summon and check out the overflow guest standing in line. Two guests in front of me rushed to their counter. I was next and I and Mr. Sunshine locked eyes for the third time. We both had a 50/50 chance of interacting with his scanning my goods and me making pleasantries just to make him connect in a customer service way or call him on the " " carpet for the eye roll and silent treatment. Just his luck the lovely lady finished first and she was the epitome of great service. When she finished, I paid and took my reusable bag of goodies, I walked past Mr. Congeniality and handed him my basket as he had a ? On his face as he held it in his hand. I helped him understand why he has my basket as I said, "you did such a fine job of corralling the s I figured you'd rather take my basket to its home than service me " I didn't wait for the eye roll as I kept trucking to the exit. Went in today to purchase some shower curtains and miscellaneous stuff for the house. Its like any other target i went into before when it comes to pricing and marketing. Dont really like the smell of the carmel popcorn when i walk in though. The store was organized and neat. The staff was very friendly and helpful when asked for certain bathroom items. The staff also ensured to keep the cash lanes moving and not have them get backed up. Pretty much the standard Target store. I guess all Targets have closed the garden department (all that I've visited in the past several months, anyway.) The store is clean, and bright, and they have a handle on how many checkout lanes should be open at any time (I'm looking at you, WalMart!) I do love Target. This is the location that is closest to home and me and my wife love it. Clean, organized and the staff are always good to us if we need anything. Good prices on many products that are more expensive than Publix and some stuff that is more of a convenience buy since you are already there and don't want to make the extra trip.
