Located on the NE corner of Tenaya & Cheyenne, a sometimes very busy and heavily trafficked area due to the hospital next door, this spot is right off the I-11/former US 95 Cheyenne exit. The store is clean-ish, but their stock is sparse. Yes, it's the holidays, but fuzzy socks & holiday goodies are difficult to find. We had to go to a different store to find a better selection. Self check is set up weirdly & it's easier to just go to the register some days. This is the closest location to work, so we visit when we need something asap vs the weekend. read more

I guess I have been here once before but never gave a review. So I noticed that they have a SQUAD of employees which is great at this store. They all worked as a smooth operating team. Customer service was excellent (I had a return). Which went smoothly cause I had the Target app, and all I had to do was open up the wallet, and the employee scanned my barcode and the funds went back to my card. Or maybe I was given cash lol. Once again the worst retail experience. They really hate their customers and prove it every day. I bought 3 items with security tags, rang them up at self checkout, didn't even notice the tags. Obviously because I don't work in retail. Walked out and there was a brief buzzer but no security at the door and no employees said anything. Same happened to the man that walked out before me. Get home and find the security tags. 2 of them were on 8 dollar shirts. If they're going to tag everything now why don't they have people at self checkout to take care of this? I get the feeling of vintage Target here. Like, maybe this location isn't the most up to date, which is not a bad thing! The parking lot is rundown, and the store is on the smaller side. At first I also thought it was so old school there wouldn't be a Starbucks inside but I was wrong--There is a Starbucks! The restroom was decent. I waited in a short self checkout line and the young man at the returns counter invited me up and was very welcoming and pleasant (his name is Anthony). Typically don't leave reviews but this is absolutely unacceptable. I was attempting to pick up my prescription when I see something on the side. When I was picking up a prescription, the photo is blurry as the pharmacist was on the side. A bug in the pharmacy is insane...switching locations and have reported to the board. I would've let it slide if it was just target but inside a pharmacy meant for cleanliness?...aside from the bug I came to pickup my prescription the day they let me know just to find out they took it off even though my pickup window hadn't passed. read more

Now I know why it is that I never go to target and specifically the target on Tenaya and Cheyenne. It took me 10 minutes in the store with two associates to find one item that I was looking for and in the end I had to figure out where it was because they were both confused. To only get up to the line that was 10 people deep and all of the self pay registers were turned off and multiple associates just standing around. So needless to say that was a wasted trip, and the item got left exactly where I walked out of the store and left it. read more

This Target isn't as big or fancy as some others in Vegas but they usually always have what I need. If I don't find it and another Target, I know I'll find it at this location. It's also close to home making it very convenient. Employees are always nice & helpful. Inside is fairly organized. Parking lot can get crazy but there's still a lot of parking. read more

I always come to this target because the area is new and it feels nice. I like the way the store is organized. They have a Starbucks and an Ulta inside as well as a little grocery section. Their electronics section is being remodeled right now, and it gives me Best Buy vibes. I like it. The only thing I dislike is that the self check out is for 10 items or less only. I get that it helps that line go faster for people with less things, but they usually only have 2 cashiers available for everyone else. Sometimes that makes the wait pretty long. Regardless of this, I do like this location in particular. Beware that it gets busy after the high school lets out. Kids come in packs and hang out at the Starbucks... so the line is too long to bother with. read more

I love Target. Always have and always will. And thus Target is my favorite in the Valley. They're open until 10pm which is great for those late night runs. Parking is ample and for those of us who don't want to actually go into the store they even offer the option of using their app, or I'm assuming website, and getting your items delivered to your car. But I like actually walking in. Nothing better than going to Target for 3 items and coming out with $280 worth of stuff. The store itself is clean, bright, well stocked and inviting. It's why I prefer this place to the Walmart on Centennial. This place just seems like they want you to stop in instead of being all dreary. Sorry Walmart. Lots of items that I can find here with ease that are not stocked, or easily found, at other stores. Toiletries for example: you can find the more mainstream options but also options that might be vegan or plant based and aren't tested on animals. There are self service checkout stands which can be convenient but the cashiers, my personal preference, have always been very nice and pleasant. Also, you can save money by signing up for their red card and now their 'target circle.' So make sure you sign up and get those savings. read more

DO NOT COME TO THIS TARGET!! Homeless and theft run rampant here to the point you can't even shop comfortably. People will come in and steal CARTS FULL OF MERCHENDISE AND RUN OUT. It's happened to me 2 times before while shopping here in the last 2 weeks. . Security literally looks the other way when it comes to theft but if they deny you a refund and you ask why they'll be quick to be behind your back. I know the new trend is in customer pick up but your employees racing around the store are OUT OF CONTROL! Yesterday, one member was pushing the cart and looking at the order and ran smack into my cart! A few minutes later, I was attempting to go down an aisle when another employee with cart was already in. No attempt to move over; I had to wait for her to find the item. As I walked through the back area, one member darted out pushing the cart as if there were a fire! I couldn't get out of the way fast enough! Btw, they were not looking forward, talking to someone in the back. A few minutes later, a male member cut the turn too close and ran into an unattended cart! Not only did everyone jump, but what if a kid was in the cart? Btw, he thought it was funny. Take a minute to review with your employees... what if it was a special needs person in a "Caraline's Cart?" I'm 0 for 2 trying to order online and pick up at store. The first time, it was well beyond the two hours they said it would take. I just went and bought the dang thing myself, but then had to cancel the online order and wait for my money back. Second time, it said the item was in stock and processing, then when I was at the store, it changed to out of stock and canceled. In this day and age, it can be hard to please everyone. And often times with reviews, it seems sometimes good customer service can be hard to find...I'm here to share about my awesome experience with the angel you have working here at this Target location on Cheyenne/Tenaya. I've been here often this past year, more recently utilizing their online order pickup option. Unlike other targets they have changed their customer service, the pickups are done right as you walk in with whomever is by the shopping carts with their handheld scannable computer, and customer service is by the self checkout registers. So as I walk up from the cold and rain, I'm immediately greeted by this ray of sunshine, Marjorie. I came in all bundled and wearing a green top and Marjorie was just overjoyed and said I looked like it the perfect example of in the Christmas spirit. I mean seriously, the sweetness of this angel of a lady just took me a back! She pulled up my order and very kindly excused herself but not before she gave me several more heartfelt compliments. When she returned with my items, she noticed my baby bump and with genuine concern suggested I please take a cart with me to hold onto, as it's so rainy and slick out, she wanted me to be extra careful. Seriously? She made me feel SO cared for, and as though my small order was the most important. She is a gem, not only as an employee but as a human being. Target you really did a smart move by putting this amazing woman right up front to be the first one to greet everyone! If I could give her service 10 stars I would!! We all could use a little extra love and care, what a special thing to be the one to give and receive it especially during the holiday season. I have been here plenty of times since I have moved to Vegas a little over two months ago, and each time I have been here, I have had no negative experiences. This review is specific to the cafe. The food could be great, I wouldn't know because I've gone three times and never actually been able to eat. It's 1:00pm on a Saturday and I spent ten minutes at the counter waiting for someone to come to the register. There were people finishing up their food in the dark because no one bothered to keep the lights in the cafe on. After I hunted down another employee, he told me the person there was on break. He had no idea where they were. I'm not sure who thinks lunchtime on a Saturday is a good time to take a break. There were two other families waiting around to eat too, who left also and two people eating there, were waiting for help as well and eventually just gave up. I have three young kids and I go out of my way to bring them to stores that can double as lunch time stops, so I guess I'll just avoid Target in the future. There were also no carts inside the store, all the carts were all over the parking lot baking in the sun. read more

No qualms with this Target! The store is always well kept, employees are friendly, and roughly 95% of the time they have what I need. The bathrooms aren't always in great condition... which they should definitely strive to improve their cleanliness standards in that department... but all in all I don't mind going to this Target location to get my Target fix! read more

I wanted to leave a review about this past weekend. This location is actually the only target location I shop at since it's close to my home. I went in on Saturday to use a gift card my son got for his 2nd birthday from his uncle. I grabbed my items and proceeded to go to self check out as I was trying to scan the gift card it scanned but I could not scratch off where the code was. I ended up paying with my card and proceeded to the service desk to see if maybe they could scratch it off for me ...... come to find out it was a scam card we weren't able to scratch it off because it was glued down !!!! The were awesome about the situation they actually ended up giving me a target gift card to replace it when they didn't have to because technically it wasn't their fault. Unfortunately I didn't get their names but it was 2 ladies and a gentleman that were able to help me out. Thank you very much for your customer service! This is the worst target around. Every single time, the return desk never knows what they're doing, my TARGET card purchases are never on my card (though it shows, was charged, and I can look up each and every item one by one up on my app) and all they are is "sorry" every time. They didn't know you can look up returns by just the barcode, told me I had to have my card present. There's always issues. read more

Since the The Better Half had to work today, she made me come here to look for Christmas decorations that were on Sale for 75% off. It's been a while since I've been to this Target location and wasn't looking forward to dealing with the madness of these types of sales.....however, since I love my Wife I went along with it. She gave me a list of things to buy. The store was clean and well kept. I beat the rush and there were only a handful of people in the clearance aisles. I found some ornaments, stockings, and other random Christmas decorations that Wifey had on her Honey-Do list to pick up. I'm glad I came early because after 15 minutes the aisles were packed with maniacs grabbing everything and shoving it into the carts. It was like a swarm of locusts....nothing was left in their wake! Luckily for me I had already found everything she wanted and took off for the registers. The registers were full of the Holiday sales herd with hundreds of items in their carts. Because of this situation It was a longer than usual wait at the line for the cashier. The employees took it in stride and were very pleasant and efficient. Overall, it wasn't too bad. Will I return? So they changed their coupon policy. I didn't see it posted anywhere and it's not online. But the cashier said they just had a meeting today 4/19/12. Allowing 1 person, 1 transaction. I normally do a few different transactions because I have a lot of coupons. So this is very upsetting & annoying for people who coupons. I guess I'll be taking my money & business to another Target that doesn't have this crazy policy that is no where to be seen. Update 4/20/12 So called Target Corporation and they said no that they didn't change the coupon guild line, it is the same online for all Target stores and that next I'm at this store to call them so they can speak with them to fix the problem. read more
