I just moved into my new home & I went into Home Zone a few times last month, just looking to find the best couch for me. Nic was 10/10. He offered great assistance, it was the perfect balance of being there when I had a question, but also giving me the space to be able to explore. Nic was very attentive and was able to answer my questions and anything that he was unsure about. He went to get me the answer instead of just guessing. I'm very pleased with my experience at Home Zone in Allen and I'm enjoying my couch as well. I should have gotten the 5 piece . We were looking for a fabric sofa recliner sectional in an L. They had multiple that could fit our room and for a slight upgrade you can change fabric material which can be waterproof. The couch took about a month to deliver but we really like it. Great experience and the sales people were easy to deal with. Didn't follow us around. read more

I was originally ok with the process of purchasing a bed. It has to be done on line and pre-approved if you want the financing. An irritating fact of life nowadays. Boo! They use Synchrony for their credit card application process. Synchrony will hassle you via phone, email, and US mail if you don't send in a payment the day it is due. Omg! They are annoying as hell!!! Lots of variety in beds to choose from. The prices are hidden at the end of the bed. Confusing at first till I figured out where to look. I was pretty specific about what I wanted. Just like the 3 bears from Goldilocks. I was Goldilocks of course! I ended up with their top of the line bed. I was glad I was able to buy in peices since I didn't need everything offered in their full package. All the bells and whistles was not what I needed. I only wanted the mattress. The mattress I bought was 17 inch's tall. That's a big bed! It was expensive, but, what isn't nowadays? I bought the bed on a Friday and it was delivered the next day. The guys that brought me the bed were surprised at how well my old bed was kept. They both said "they don't make em like this anymore". I was sad hearing that. I almost didn't want them to take it away. It's done and the old bed is gone to bed heaven. I highly suggest you try the beds out before buying on line. So many beds were either too hard or too soft. (I bought their celestial bed). Some are foam and I sunk into those. Not good for an old back/body. This is the best bed for side or back sleepers. They offer 36 months free financing if you get approval. I'll have mine paid off way before that. What HomeZone does not tell you is that you MUST make monthly payments, or YOU WILL incur late fees! That is an additional 30$ a month! Additionally, this late fee is reported to the credit bureau! Per the contract: You can only exchange the bed ONE time after sleeping on the bed for 30 days. Plus if you get a cheaper bed, or want a total refund, your refund money will be issued to spend such money only at one of their stores. Pfffft. They DO NOT tell you this upfront! Plus, you have to pay for another pickup and exchange. As a customer you will be out another 110$ charge. Not sure if you have to buy another cheap bed pad that is required per their policy. (I use my own, personal preference, and much better than what they want me to cover my bed with.) They don't tell you ANY of this. This was all a learning experience, I thought this information would have been important to know upfront. They do offer a military discount, BUT it does not kick in till you spend over $3000. It's $100 dollars. :( Grateful for every penny saved!) Eventually, I'll be shopping for additional furniture. Nice to know how Homezone works with their financing. We saw the "now open" sign and stopped in on a whim. We're starting to look for some new den furniture. A kind saleswoman, Jeovanna, greeted us when we entered and told us that everything with the red Texas sign means it's in stock. Delivery is only $109 per transaction. You can buy an entire houseful of furniture and only pay $109 if you ordered everything at the same time! Most orders are delivered within 5 days or so. We found some chairs and a sofa that we really liked but I need to measure my space before we order anything. Their name tags say there is no commission paid to the sales staff so they didn't circle around like vultures. They stayed nearby in case you had a question, then you ask them. They didn't hover over you. I really liked the no pressure approach - so refreshing! There is a fun little game/play area where the young and young-at-heart can chill out. The furniture selection and prices (many things on sale) seemed reasonable. I'll be back after I measure my space! read more

Too bad I have to leave any stars. I bought a couch from Home Zone in July. In early Sept there was a wear spot already. I filed a claim and they refused to stand by their product. They said it was not a "product defect"...sure looks like one to me! Still.paying on a damaged sofa, and all they offered was to give me a quote to have it reupholster. Never will.I buy from.them and I am ashamed they are from Texas. Sure do not act like a Texas company. If you want your money's worth, do not go near Home Zone! read more

I purchased 15 pieces of furniture from here. I got warranty on everything. The couches I bought have terrible quality. I called today to see if they can send me new covers as the ones I have changed colors. I barely sit on these couches and cannot believe how bad they look. I purchased the 2 year extended warranty and was still told that would not cover it for new couches. The covers alone cost $69 which I would be fine with purchasing had I not paid for warranty. I was offered a full refund for my extended warranty on a the furniture, instead of getting two new covers. I will gladly go in store to get my refund of over $400 since customer service is such a fail with this company. I will never purchase anything from them again. read more

I wasn't pressured upon entry, I was allowed to look at my own pace the entire time. They dug out a rug from the back I wanted and were very quick with my financing for the living room furniture . Went to purchase a few nic-nac decorations and the service I had here was great. I have shopped at a few HomeZone locations in previous times but the consistency you get when coming to the Allen location is unmatched. I was greeted as soon as I walk into the location. The store was exceptionally clean! As I was shopping , I did not feel pressured hovered over when assisted by several individuals. They answered all my questions and even told me about their amazing financing options for their valuable products. My husband and I went here and the customer service was subpar, everywhere I looked somebody was on their phone, or sitting down, or on their little watch. I was honestly upset that I had to track somebody down in a section, I was hoping to find a really nice 100% cotton rocking chair as I'm pregnant, with our first child. I was shown a stationary accent chair that was $500, how am I supposed to rock my baby to sleep when she arrives. I purchased a leather sofa and love seat from Home Zone in February. Since then, I have had nothing but trouble with it. It started with the button on the recliner getting stuck in a reclining position. They picked it up, fixed the button, but brought it back with several scratches. They sent a guy out to "fix" the scratches, but he said he was there to "clean" the sofa, but could not because of the scratches. Customer Svc said they had to order a replacement leather kit and apologized. I asked for a replacement. They claimed they no longer had the brown sofa; only the black, but would repair it. They picked up the sofa, brought it back with scars this time and a tick when the button is pressed to recline. Customer Svc wants to claim it is the leather, but the other three pieces are smooth. Asked for a mgr. Spoke with five different people who said I could not return the items, but they could "address" the tick. Sofa & love seat costs over $5000 and now I am stuck with a lemon because Home Zone refuses to return the items, nor offer any compensation. read more
