Unfortunately, what has consistently taken away from that experience over the years is the front office staff--specifically, Joanne. Joanne has a long history of being dismissive, unhelpful, and at times, openly rude. Years ago, she refused to release my prescription for a snorkeling mask until I spoke to the doctor, which felt unnecessarily difficult. Last year, when I got glasses from their office, no one explained they were progressives--and when I had trouble adjusting, the process to fix it took multiple visits. There was no guidance or accountability on her part. Most recently, as I waited for my appointment, she loudly said to another staff member, "There's the girl who was a problem." I hadn't even spoken yet. When I asked to set up a time to look at frames, she said there was nothing available, despite it being well before closing. It was very clear I was being intentionally pushed away. What really stood out was how familiar this behavior seems to be. When I casually mentioned my experience to a coworker, my boss overheard and said, without hesitation, "That sounds like Joanne from Casey Vision--that's why I don't go there anymore." I've also noticed several other reviews here mentioning her by name, which unfortunately lines up with what I experienced. The doctors are great, but Joanne makes the overall environment uncomfortable. I hope the practice takes this feedback seriously, because no matter how good the care is, the experience at the front desk sets the tone--and she's driving patients away.

I have had some not so great encounters over the years and when it came time for me to consider getting glasses again I was not looking forward to the experience. Honestly, I chose CJ Sabatini because of their proximity to where I live. I very much like to support local business. So, I make the appointment to get my exam and glasses and upon arrival the first person I encounter is Chris - the owner. From the minute I met him I knew I was in good hands. He was very friendly and treated me respectfully and it was obvious he appreciated my business. He was not being governed by some franchise pressures to meet sales quotas and up sell. Chris was genuinely interested in me, as a person. So much so that there would have been a small balance over and above what my insurance would allow and Chris just said "forget it" and only charged me the insurance reimbursement amount. How many places would have turned down the opportunity to make addition money - regardless of how small that amount might have been? In short, Chris is a star. His pricing is very competitive. He delivered my glasses exactly when he said he would. He is an honest, reliable, businessman and he is the only one I will purchases glasses from when I need them again. his staff is also wonderful. I, unfortunately, cannot remember the name of the young woman who is at his front desk but she is all personality, super friendly, and a pleasure to work with.

They timeline they give is useless, you're lucky if they do arrive within the time window. Also one big gripe I had was I had gotten prescription sunglasses and the frames didn't fit right at all, had them adjust them and they still aren't right. And my Oakley regular glasses I had purchased the lenses do not sit in the frames right at all. They aren't the worst but they aren't the best.

I asked her if I had to bring my old glasses in (because in the email at the time said if I didn't have any documents of my last exam I should bring in my old prescription) and she answered in a snarky tone and said "You don't need to" in a tone that made me feel like I was dumb for even asking it. And today 7/3/26 I called because I got a text message saying that my glasses were ready, but I had stuff happening today so I wasn't able to pick them up right away, so I called to let them know I would pick them up tomorrow not remember that tomorrow is July 4th because I was excited to finally have my new glasses. She picked up and with the same tone "Hello?" As if I had just bothered her. And when I started talking letting her know I was a previous customer she cut me off with another "Hello?!" And so I said "Um...I was here previously and I got a text message-" "are you picking up or scheduling an appointment?!" When someone talks to me like this I do freeze up and take a minute so when I told her I was planning on picking them up tomorrow she said in a snarky tone that the store was closed tomorrow and I said "Ok...Wh-" and before I could even say anything else she said in another snarky tone, "They'll be available anytime you can get them next week." And so I said "Ok..." then she loudly said "Hello?!!" And I said that I was still there and she hung up. Now...I get working in customer service is demanding but you're a receptionist and all you do is sit there and take calls and schedule appointments it's not THAT hard now I don't want to discredit well meaning receptionists in this type of work but this lady doesn't deserve to even be credited for anything for the abysmal service she gave if I could rate my experience lower than a one I'd put this in the negatives and if I ever remember her name I will make sure she gets mentioned to her boss and corporate.

For years I went to discount and mall optometrists but never again. It wasn't until I had a really well-made pair of glasses from Casey's that I realized what I was missing. They are definitely on the pricier side but you get what you pay for. After a thorough exam a different person helps you select the right pair of frames. The folks who work there have a good eye for style and know what frames will work well with your prescription and your face shape. If you have a tricky script, are looking for high quality or are just plain fashionable, Casey Vision is a great choice for glasses.

Tried the virtual site again as I was on hold over a half hour on the phone. Then it tells me "we have no record with that name, phone number or birth date". So I'm here now and there is ONE person working, fitting glasses on someone. Two people ahead of me. Been here at least 10 minutes now. I'll probably have to come back because I don't have all day. Grrrr I ended up waiting for about a half hour and it took her all of two minutes to get my purchase. She asked for my phone number because I should've gotten a text when they came in. Yup, it was correct. So no text, when you call you won't get through and they can't multitask. I don't even think they have a phone there because I was still on hold when I walked into the place. No phone beeping or ringing. Oh, and their optometrists are all virtual. They don't tell you that prior to the appointment. It was different but they are pretty thorough in their exams. I gotta give them that. That is if their equipment is working properly and they don't have to redo the test as they had to do with me at least twice. When I initially made my appointment online I had to call because there was no option to add a contact lens exam and it took me a really long time to get through on the phone to fix my appointment. I got through to a call center that kept telling me that the place was by BJ's bakery. It is nowhere near BJ's! I just don't think it should be this difficult to get an eye exam and to pick up your prescription. My initial eye appointment took almost 2 hours! Between being on hold, trying to get through on the website, trying to call repeatedly, waiting during my initial exam, waiting during my fitting a week later and then waiting to pick up my contact lenses was probably a total of six hours or more which is outrageous. Not going back there!

I spent nearly two hours there a few weeks ago and was told they couldn't get a doctor to call in for the virtual exam... which WHAT? I rescheduled and was promised I would be fast tracked when I came in this morning and skip the pre-exam but instead was told I would need to wait and go through the whole thing again. After 15 mins I walked out bc they do not respect people's time. I feel like they owe me for the time I took off work TWICE and also gas money to drive there and back (nearly 30 mins each way) also TWICE.
