The review is solely for the front office staff. When they called to tell me our glasses were ready for pick up I asked for them to be shipped to my home as I would not be able to make it back into the store anytime soon. I live 25 mins away so something mailed should only take 1-2 days maybe 3 max based on distance and experience. After waiting a week and not receiving them or even getting notification with any shipping service that we have accounts with. I called them at 2:54 pm to make sure they were sent out and they assured me it was and that maybe I would be getting them today as it's still early in the day. Once I got off the phone with them to my surprise 18 mins later at 3:12 pm I get a notification that a shipping label was just created with ups! They lied about sending it out. They could have let me know they didn't send them last week and apologized for the delay but to say it was sent already and maybe it'll arrive today is crazy work! read more

I had a good experience shopping for new sunglasses here at Target Optical Dublin. I bought a pair even if I had no plans of buying when I found the color and fit of frame that I really like. This location just opened so everything is new and very clean. I was helped by Juliana and Shernan. It took a bit longer to check out but I understand that because they just opened so it's not 100% set-up yet. Would definitely recommend this location if you need eyeglasses/sunglasses, then go shopping at the San Francisco (Livermore) Outlet which is just across the I-580 freeway. read more

We've switched the family here! Love the staff, love their resourcefulness, love the eyewear options, and even love this extra super all-in-one Target (even the mini in-house Ulta is located right outside their doorway!). A chance last second appointment brought me to the location soon after they opened, and I've interacted with them several times since. Dr. Kaneta and team are so cool and on it, my young adult daughter now goes here. The office is extra detailed, and they proactively troubleshooted my unusual contact prescription under a tight turnaround scenario: Dr. Kaneta introduced new-to-market brands to me, samples of slightly different power and astigmatism correction were ordered so I wouldn't be stuck without contacts on a business trip. I tried the different combos and we dialed in on my prescription. AND since I do have an unusual prescription, an alternative was also determined in case of inventory issues. Disregard the entitled negative reviews on here. The region attracts a lot of impatient folks expecting last-minute Amazon Prime rescue service...without paying for it. FOR THOSE WITH LITTLE KIDS -- They have more children options on hand to try on than all of our previous FAMILY optometrists combined! They get the area. read more

My eye exam went well. The doctor was thorough and patient. This review is specifically for the front office. To start, they seemed to be disorganized. Only one person knew how to use the machines and kept asking the other person who was helping someone else to help. The lady working was rude and ignored me for a few minutes talking on her cell phone after I had asked her about the price of eye exams.

Ordered a new pair of glasses here. I received a text message that my glasses were in and I could pick them i up. Their website said they are open until 8:00pm. I arrived at the store at 6:4pm to find the optical dept. was closed. There was a paper sign next to the gate that said they were open until 7:00pm and yet they were closed at 6:40pm. I went to customer service and asked if there was a manager I could speak to. The young man said "I don't know" and walked away. So I approached a front end employee who told me the manager was busy. She asked if she could help. I explained about the hours and all she could do was respond to what I said about the hours with a "yeah". Clearly this store doesn't care to give good customer service. I won't be back. Update: I just received a reminder call that my glasses were and was advised they are open until 6:00pm. Which is it - 8:00, 7:00, or 6:00? read more

Very Frustrating experience as the front office staff is not knowledgable. They couldn't find my VSP insurance. Weird! Provided them member ID, Authorization number, Name, last 4, DOB MULTIPLE times and had to repeat myself 7-8 time for 7-8 call around the same topic. Sorry that I got scared and left lol so I went to get an eye exam here it was $89 for the eye exam plus an additional $40 to look behind my eyes because it had been sometime since my last exam is what they said for the total of $130 for my eye exam. Additionally, I was told that my glasses would be $380 but that I could get the second pair for %40 off.. Good deal so I thought.. so I chose a second pair of glasses for the same price as the first one. Tell me why they did the fitting of the two eye glasses and put all my information in so that they could tell me it would be $780 for two pairs of glasses. How is that %40 off? I was too shy to say anything because there was two people helping me one was in training and the other person was training her so how could they make a mistake right. I convinced myself I needed the glasses. I tried to pay but my card was not going through. So I took the opportunity to say that I was going to call the bank or go to the atm. I ran and never went back lol I just felt so stupid. I went trying to get a deal on glasses to almost spending $1,000. Crazy. Now I'm shopping around to see if I can get a better deal somewhere else. When I first wanted to replace my glasses bc mine had broke I called around 10 something when they first open to see if I could get help bc I'm use to getting them in LA and was asked for my phone number so she could call me back bc she was with patient. At around 12 I called again and was told the same thing that she would call me back bc she was with patient. So I waited and nothing. About 3 hours had gone by and so I called again and when I called she was still trying to say that she ed had a patient again but someone walked in and she welcomed them and asked How she could help them whiles telling me to hold on hold on. As I waited patiently she was helping whoever was in store whiles I could hear everything I decided to hang up bc my partner would be getting home from work do he could take me in person. I never received a call back at all not once. So I ended up going in store bc I was tired of not being prioritized and to went in store and see no one except one male who was being helped by another gentleman in the center and an older lady sitting behind a desk to the side. She greeted me and told me to sit Down. I won't lie and say that I wasn't bothered to see that the same lady answering phone had no patient in front of her or on the phone bc it did bother me but I tried to be respectful bc she was older. So I sat, she proceeded to ask me to give her a minute bc she was finishing something on her tablet or whatever it is. She was struggling or whatever and took a while proceeded to tell me "we got disconnected" and that "she tried calling me back" but yet I had no miss calls no nothing. She then says to give her another minute and calls another client whiles I'm right in front of her. It was to confirm something for their glasses and I think to set an appointment if I'm not mistaken. I don't recall as it has been almost 2 and a half weeks but yea. So she gets off the phone continued to type in her tablet thing. Whiles telling me how it's a bit complicated or something idk. Well anyways finally she starts asking for my info and I give it to her but we are struggling bc I have to keep repeating myself a over and over I kept saying 4 and she kept putting/saying 5. Anyways we finally get through and she is asking about my insurance and mind you I'm 22 still learning how to set myself up and at my target optical in Inglewood just pulls up my info so I was quite sure she'd be able to do the same. So she attempts to look and she saying how mine is hard to find and then was Looking at my file whiles asking me info that she seemed to be looking at on my file but I'm guessing she just didn't know how to find specific info even though I could clearly see it. After this and repeating myself I chose out a new frame. Whiles I was picking it out she went to the restroom, which I mean isn't a problem we all go but in the middle of helping someone out? Anyways she's coming back and her phone is ringing she didn't get to it on time then the store phone rings but stops then her personal cell rings again and so she answers right in front of me right in the middle of helping me and is talking to a coworker about I'm assuming the work schedule and something about Saturdays and so after talking she ends up passing her personal phone to the gentleman who was done helping the guy. Anyways after all that we got set up or whatever. So a week goes by and I thought that was strange bc at that the Inglewood location by the end of the week they are calling to let me know they are ready. So I gave them a call was told something didn't pass quality control and that the estimated date was the 16. Okay come the 16 I'm calling and am told they should be arriving that day(16) or tomorrow the (17) so I let it go by. come today the 18th I call a little after 11:30 , the first time I am answered but nothing is said so I hang up and call again. The second time on the first ring I am answered but the person sounds strange like if they are using a voice changer. What's going on at this target optical? Anyways I am starting to say I wanted an update on my glasses bc it's been two 2 weeks but was cut off and asked for a last name and am told they were shipped and should be coming in soon and I will get a text/call. I've never had problems with Inglewood location and am very disappointed by this location bc I left with more question then answers. The lady's at the Inglewood location are nice and sweet, they help out and answer all your question they know how to pull up my info and made it easier for someone like me who's barely getting set up. This location was terrible, let's just say without the glasses I'm useless so imagine the terror of having to wait over 2 weeks for a new pair to come in and having to forcefully make myself a priority to them.
