They back their product for a full 90 days of adjustment, which I deeply appreciate and needed, for a change in my lenses. The Optometrist Mai is warm and delightful! I have no eye insurance so finding a place that was affordable and had a good selection was truly hard to find. It's one of the reasons why I took so long to finally change my glasses. The price and quickness of it all was it for me. Called in on a Friday, got an appt. set on the following Monday. Got my prescription, picked out a frame, and one week later got my new glasses. They were kind in understanding my needs for the cheapest frames because I can't fathom spending a ton of money on frames just because of the brand (plus I have no insurance). I have a small face so I really can't be picky anyways. There's only so many frames that fit my face well. $250 for eye exam, frames, lens, and 1 year insurance. The lady Doctor was also nice enough to let them know my situation in needing the glasses ASAP since driving at night was getting bad and I had 3 kids with me. Everyone was kind, patient, and understanding.Thank you. I'm glad I went with you guys after my SIL told me about her great experience as well. read more

I called this associate asking for help with a contact order. It seems to be be my bad luck with ordering contacts and dealing with actual people, because I have been deboned basics services just for trying to use a product. I was coordinating with a man named Juan, and he denied me contacts because he thought I was going to sleep in them. I picked the total 30s from the air optic night and day because my doctor DO Toan Toach from the Sierrmonte Target Optical gave me these for the sole purpose durable 30 days to sleep in and replace after 30 days. This associate zjuan was obstinate and unmoving on want me to go against my doctors instruction and didn't care that I had nothing to see with and denied new service even after I said "Ok. Please and I will wear them according". It was just outright very unnatural to deny me service w when we had email communications and he told me to try against when someone else was running the store, which made it seem like he was just discrimination against me and just didn't want to help me. I feel super unlucky with contacts and stores because it seems like the associates are always putting their pride over the doctors instructions and servicing the customer. I just wish someone would help me and not fight with me. read more

Came here for my first time Saturday 11/23/19 to look at some glasses the ladies there were really nice in helping me, I ended up making an eye appointment next door for the Tuesday coming up, When I went back that Tuesday on 11/26/19 the same ladies were working, I chose the pair of glasses that I wanted. She was very thorough on what my insurance would cover and what I would have to come out of pocket, she explained the different types of lenses and what would be the best option, I ordered the glasses and was told that that would be ready In 8 to 10 businesses days, well my glasses were ready on 12/4/19! They told me over the phone they took my insurance but neglected to tell me they took it only for the eye exam and not the lenses which my insurance covers up to 100 dollars. Felt like a little bait and switch. And they never even ran my insurance to see. They just told me it wasn't covered. People don't understand there are two UMR plans this year and the low deductible plan covers exam, lenses and frames. But I guess it was too hard for them to figure out but I found somewhere who knew what they were doing and took my exam results elsewhere and got my lenses paid for by my insurance. No one is going to pay out of pocket when they're paying for insurance. And what I don't understand is why you would accept insurance for the eye exam, and not accept the exact same insurance for the lenses. Doesn't common sense tell you that people who get eye exams are getting glasses and want to use the insurance they are already paying for to pay for them. It's just bad business whether it was a mistake on the employees end or whether they truly do only cover the eye exam and don't honor the other benefits of the lenses on the same insurance plan. Pure stupidity. I have included a screenshot of my vision coverage. I have the low deductible which clearly states lenses and frame coverage. I suggest you tell your customers next time if their insurance is only going to cover the exam, instead of being dishonest and shady and trying to make them pay full price when they have insurance. read more

They mis-scheduled the appointment and then told me that there's nothing they could do to help. they don't have contact information for any kind of management or higher up. When I went there for annual check up for my contact lenses the receptionist asked to sign papers and I realized one of paper asking if I would like to do optional exam so after I signed I told her that I didn't need that then she said " Don't waste trees if you don't need option no need to sign" She could have explained me before she gave me a bunch of papers! Werner was amazing! As my mother and I walked into the store he came up to us and assisted us promptly. I expressed my concerns of needing more contact lenses due to me purchasing a 6 month supply previously. I have a 2 month supply left, but I was worried I would run out before I had my next shipment. Werner looked to see if I still had any benefits from my insurance to see if I could save up on additional discounts. Turned out I still had benefits so he applied that to my purchase. He also noticed that I was eyeing a pair of sunglasses and I expressed to him that I do not have a pair that I can wear when I wear my contact lenses. He showed me the different types of sunglasses without being pushy to make the purchase. I decided I would get a pair but expressed I would want the polarized lenses to remove the glare from the sun. He was so kind to order the polarized lenses in the color I desired as well as my 6 month supply of contacts. I love target and I am so happy that they have a optical office that truly cares for their customers in seeing much more clearly. Update: my prescription glasses were taking longer than usual so I called after 10 days to check on my status. They said they had received my glasses from the lab but they "didn't meet standards". She said I apologize "we had to send them back because we can't give you anything less than perfect." I said of course but hat bothers me is that I didn't get a notice. Also, how am I not supposed to be annoyed that their lab messed up my order? Anyways what a waste of time! Honestly at this point I wanted to be reimbursed but I just wanted it all to end.
