Overall: I highly recommend this team! The best: they are amazing at communication and offer a text line to communicate with you regarding your prescription and any other questions you may have. Dr Michelle W. Wong, O.D. is the absolute nicest optometrist. She takes her time with her patients and is very patient in every aspect. We went through so many different contact lenses to try and find the best option for me. It took a long time to find a pair but she was willing to put in the effort to ensure my eye comfort. They have a smaller selection of glasses, but if you find one that you like online they can order it for you. So don't get discouraged by not seeing a whole wall of frames but instead work with the people there and they will help you find a frame that you will absolutely love. This place is VERY organized! When I booked to schedule they reached out to my insurance and kept me updated. They texted me my copay ahead of time and the paperwork I need to fill out. They had an earlier spot open up and notified me which is amazing as almost no other place I've gone to have done that. Karina is very helpful and fixed mr glasses for me. went there a year ago and got disposable contacts thru my insurance which paid for a lot; but i also paid out of my pocket quite a lot on top of what my insurance paid them. Wayyy too much as i found out looking at 1 800 CONTACTS. I was never able to use any of the contacts as they didn't fit right. This office contacted me months later, not to see if i had any issues or to follow up with how I was doing; they wanted to let me know that it was time for me to purchase a refill of contacts. Being as these contacts were unwearable, i responded that i didn't need a refill in the hopes that would prompt them to inquire about my happiness with the product. it didn't. A few days ago, on advice from friends at my new job, i called this office to try to get a new prescription for different contacts so that i could ditch my old glasses for work and i explained that the contacts they gave me never fit correctly and i still had all of them and i just wanted a prescription for a different brand. They quoted me some fee of over 200 dollars so i hung up on them. Don't say i didn't warn you!!!! read more

Hahaha I wasn't planning on ordering frames or lenses since my eye sight is about the same, and I still have my reading glasses. They informed me that through Culinary Insurance I can receive FREE FRAMES! Wooh! so I ordered me a cute cat eye! Also!!! I was late more then 15min because I confused myself of appointment times through out this week. I've been going to see Dr. Wong about 4 years now? When you walk in you feel like you are at the Cosmopolitan or something similar. It's that swanky, hip and cool inside! Dr. Wong is very attentive and if you ever been to the Optometrist you know when they ask you if 1 or 2 is better or 6 or 7....well you don't feel rushed with her. You actually can tell if 1 or 2 is clearer or the same. My husband came along with me and also got an exam done. Seeing as he has issues with his my$%)**@ (something) glands, Dr. Wong really took the time to explain how to remedy this problem. Her prices were reasonable seeing that we don't have vision insurance, but I am sure it's even better with insurance! Staff was friendly and her assistant who did the pre test for glaucoma was efficient and fast. I definitely recommend Dr. Wong to anyone who need their eyes checked and a couple of my friends have gone to see her and love her as well!!! Highly not satisfied!!!! They didn't tell us the truth about our glasses purchase. I would never recommend them to anyone. The manager with the purple hair did not tell us about a no refund policy or have us sign, it was attached to receipt after paid. Then when my wife could not get use to her glasses and we went back in to return them, we were told that they don't to refunds , so my wife has over pair of reading glasses. Completely disappointed with the level of service. My entire family visited this office but after my last experience I will be taking my business somewhere else. Kimberly does not know the insurance process, she made me use my insurance as "primary" and pay for my copay and contact lenses exam. Then after my exam they took my money said I would get a call in a week to pick up a special order of contacts and said thank you see you then. I then asked why I wasn't sat down and given glasses options and benefit options and such, and they seemed confused with my question. They wouldn't give me a copy of my rx because the doctor has now gone paperless and its in your portal. Also they will not give you your PD measurement because according to the girl checking me our the doctor thinks its a liability. WHAT! I was completely frustrated with the back and forth when I called to request my rx. I asked for them to refund my money to which they said they would have to call me back and make sure that it was policy to do so. I received a full refund, never received an apology for the lack of service from Kimberly and the unnecessary back and forth to get an rx I had already paid for. In addition to all of this I have now called eyemed and confirmed the information received from your office and you are misguiding your patients. Eyemed does not have primary insurance and I as the patient am able to decide which insurance I can use. (my employers or my husbands insurance). You have lost a loyal customer and I hope nobody else goes though this headache. read more

I have not been to an optometrist since I was a kid, but I have been blessed with eye insurance so I made an appointment. Also I noticed my eyes were changing and that worried me. I found Bright Eyes on yelp and read through the reviews, so I decided to make an appointment! Conveniently they are open until 2pm on Saturdays which worked with my schedule. My first impression was that the office was really clean and beautifully decorated. Staff was extremely nice and welcoming. I saw the Doctor for an eye exam and she went over everything with me. She explained in great detail, which I truly appreciate because I was not educated in the eye world. Lol. Turns out I don't need eyeglasses but they'll help enhance my vision. Doctor put a prescription together right there and I put them on and I was shocked! My vision was so clear.. I couldn't believe it. Although I decided to leave without purchasing glasses, the staff went over what my insurance would cover and showed me a few options. I didn't end up purchasing glasses during that visit but I may come back once I think about my options more. I appreciate everyone's time and patience. My fiancé and I have been coming here for a few years now. Since then, no issues whatsoever. And even if we did have any, I know this practice would make it right. Anyway, I found Dr. Wong's practice since I used to get my nails done in the same shopping center. I saw the good reviews and wanted to give it a try, especially since I moved to the area and it was near my house. As a new patient a few years ago, I remember having to wait a month or so before getting an appointment. Idk how it is now. They are a very organized bunch of staff! They always send a reminder text for your appointment, they send the paperwork ahead of time that way you can fill it out and send it right back. Straight to the point and clear instructions. Since I've been coming with my fiancé, they normally take us in together and doing us back to back. I love that we finish pretty much at the same time and don't have to wait for one another. I cannot, however, comment on glasses. I don't get my glasses from here nor does my fiancé (he has perfect vision lol). But there are opticians here to assist your needs! I normally just get contacts all the time. They order through a system called Marlo. Whenever I run out and need more, I just log on myself and order contacts. Very easy and convenient. Even after I get my contacts, Dr. Wong's office staff texts me to ensure I did get my package! Not to mention, Dr. Wong is awesome! Very knowledgeable and friendly. The office accommodated me and saw me right away, even though it was an administrative day where they typically do not see patients. Reception was warm and friendly, and Dr. Wong was able to get me promptly on my way with some medicine. I felt better in a matter of days. I have since scheduled another appointment, this time for my annual exam for contact lenses. I have to say, this office is one of the friendliest and most polite that I have ever encountered in any medical setting. All the girls are pleasant, the atmosphere is calm, and I would give 5 stars just for the fact that they are punctual. My husband and I have been patients since 2014. We kept coming back because the staff and Dr. Wong have always been very kind and professional. However we decided to no longer get our prescription contacts and eyeglasses here. I've been purchasing my contacts here and every box for my right eye, each lens had a scratch. They were kind enough to replace the box but even the replacement had a scratch in each lens. It must be a manufacturer problem. The following order 2 years later, same problem. I complained and they replaced it. The replacements have the same problem. I purchased my eyeglasses in October 2016. Even with 2 insurance plans, i paid $375 out of pocket. I thought it would be worth it, but in only a 1.5 year span, I already needed to get the frames replaced/repaired twice. I've also had to come in about 2 separate times to get the frames adjusted because they would be lopsided. Note that I only use my glasses in the evenings before bed because I use contacts through out the day. On the third snap.. i called and they said it is no longer in warranty and if I wanted to get the frames replaced, its another $300. Their staff is great, but products are terrible quality. I have never had such an in-depth eye exam until Dr Wang. Everyone working here is so polite and nice. I started having issues with my eyes and I have been to couple Optometrists already before Dr Wang but they all got my prescription wrong. Dr Wang told me my eye sight are still perfect, they are just really slow adjusting short distance to long distance. She suggested me a lense that could relax my eyes while I am reading or on my computer. I am so glad I found her on Yelp. read more

My son been coming here forever hes now 16 because we like Michelle but her worker it's terrible....my son broke his glasses in half and it's under insurance we took it in to have them send it in and replace it but she look at my son glasses and automatically said I cant fix it without trying to hear us out because she think theres a little glue on top but it wasnt even glue.she wasnt sincere I told her my son 16 need his glasses cant see and she still refuse to even trying to help us out a little at least make us feel like we are important as customer so for that it sucks to say but she lose me my son and my husband as customers for sure....... read more

I've been her patients for 3-4 years now. Dr. Wong and her staff are super nice. They don't try to sell you something that you don't need as other places. One particular thing I like about this practice is that I can schedule my appointment online, see my history, access my information (including my prescription online). My optometrist was not only friendly but she took the time to listen to my concerns and thoroughly examined my vision.
