The doctor, Dr. Patel was really not nice. Didn't even say hello and was very negative and rude. I asked her if I could switch to daily wear contacts because my two week pair is really bothering me eyes. Her comment was - "They're like $700 a year." Ummm okay? Let me make that decision, instead of immediately assuming that's not something I'm interested in. Second, it took FOREVER. Between the wait for the appointment, the wait to try on glasses, and the wait to place my order for the glasses - I was here like over two hours. Another thing - they try and upsell you for everything. Thinner lenses, coating, protection plan - all up sells. Kinda pricey too, even with insurance. Good thing though, they do price match on contacts. Just bring them an ad and they will honor it! Lastly, I came today to pick my glasses up (they took about 12 days to arrive - which was a little quicker than they estimated). I had to wait for a pretty long time just to get someone to help me. Once they did though, he was very nice!

The lady told me 3-4 days because I had a specialty prescription. After 5 days passed, I called to see if my contacts came in. The lady on the phone said oh no it's going to take 3-4 weeks because they were a special prescription. After the 4th week, a very nice woman, I believe her name was Stephanie was helpful. She apologized but said it my new contacts would take 4-6 weeks from what the company said. I asked for a new pair of trial lenses and they gave it to me without costs. It's July 27, 2025 and approaching 8 weeks and I still have not received my new prescription. I've never heard of waiting two months for a contact lens prescription.

My wife and I were blown away from the customer service provided and the confidence we had in them to get exactly what we were looking for. Deanna G. was AMAZING. We have a VERY good eye insurance plan. It was very reasonable for prices. Give them a chance and check out this location.

Frutchey Eye Care has been one of my best finds this year. The entire office staff, from the front desk, to the optician to the optometrist were all incredibly friendly and helpful. I was able to get in quickly for an appointment (no waiting for weeks!), and I saw Dr. Mark. He was very thorough in his explanations, and I didn't spend too much time waiting for him. The whole process was pretty easy, and he made sure to demonstrate why I might benefit from new glasses (I knew it was long past time though, he didn't need to convince me- I was having a hard time reading street signs at night and knew I needed to get that taken care of ASAP). The selection of glasses is a tad pricy but there are loads of them, and my coverage is decent. The co-pay for the actual office visit wasn't much at all, and they answered all my questions happily. I would definitely recommend them. The day my glasses came in, I got a call late in the evening, and rushed to get there before they closed at 7. I made it at about 6:58 and they were happy to take care of me regardless of the time, which was greatly appreciated. Just to note, the optician isn't available on Wednesdays. I would definitely recommend Frutchey Eye Care for all your optometry needs!

There are 2 doctors in here and at least 7-8 patients in the office at once. They overbook. I wasn't asked if the appointment was for contacts or eye glasses. I was told it would be an additional $94 and another appointment which would cost me another 2 hours (probably more with these wait times) for a contact lens exam. No. Just no.

Thankfully I don't have any major issues with my eyes; regardless, I am overdue for a full checkup. Scheduling a visit with Dr. Hunt was a breeze. When you call the office a real person picks up on the other end. After a brief conversation and providing my insurance details I had an appointment for the following week, sweet! The representatives at the office call ahead to remind you of your appointment and also send a email if you choose to provide one. The office is tucked away off the main road and is in it's own building; one of several in this medical complex. The staff greet you when you enter and they do a great job keeping everything clean and organized. I was impressed with the layout, fitting areas, and variety of glasses frames they have available. Dr. Hunt was friendly and informative. I asked for the comprehensive vision and eye exam which includes dilation, several visual and ocular tests, and scans of both eyes. Note that dilation and other tests cost about $20 more, each. Dr. Hunt was very knowledgeable and provided valuable feedback while answering all my questions. Dr. Hunt also provided a prescription for glasses that would help reduce strain when reading or driving at night; however, he stated that I have better than 20/20 vision so It's not necessary at this time. All and all I had a great experience at Hunt Eyecare and definitely recommend them. If you are in need of a great optometrist, Dr. Hunt is the one.

Apparently, some of her patients are opting not to have their pupils dilated; they'd say they need to have their full sight for work or something, say they'll come back, but, too often, do not. I got the sense that she took a chance leasing this expensive machine primarily to improve the care that she could offer her patients. I think that's very admirable. Let's hope more of them with take her up on the offer. I sure wouldn't want to mess with my eyes over $25.
