Oof! I am a Target girlie to the core, but this specific Target definitely exudes Walmart behavior. The employees were all so rude and unaccommodating. The customer service attendants were talking back to customers and avoiding assisting them. Luckily for me, the one girl who helped me was the saving grace of this store. She was so nice and bubbly unlike her colleague next to her. The merchandise and selection for this store is also very limited and not organized. Not sure why this Target only has a 2.5 star average rating, but I've been here several times and have only had positive experiences. The first time I went here was at the beginning of Georgia's stay at home order, so barely anyone was out. I went in for snacks and groceries and found a lot of great items, including a cute llama bath towel. There were a few items I couldn't find, including a thermometer, but that was no surprise as I'm sure everyone swooped those up quickly. Of the items I could find, I was very pleased. Not only did they have great snack options, but this was one of the few grocery stores (not including gas stations here) that I could actually find paper goods at. Stores are slowly starting to return to "normal," although I doubt I'll see hand sanitizer or Clorox wipes any time soon. Despite the other stores being cleaned out though, this one consistently had paper towel and Kleenex, even toilet paper, baby wipes, and hand soap on more than one occasion. The staff are all great, and it's right next to Publix if you need certain grocery items that Target doesn't have. I really enjoy shopping here and appreciate the workers and their great job of stocking and sanitizing. read more

I love this location!! It's just something about being in Target that just makes you want to stay in longer. They always having something in stock if I need it. I'm starting to think they have a better selection in their inventory than the other locations nearby. They're so clean, organized and have great customer service. The $5 or less section in the front of the store gets me every-time. They always have the cutest things in that section that you can't resist. The beauty area is improving every year and it makes you want to buy your makeup from them. I like how they have bigger help center in certain parts of their store that give you more details about items in their store. The checker will let you know exactly if something is in-stock or not and if it's at another location. When walking in the store there will be someone at the front to greet you and offer you a mask if you don't have one. read more

For some idiotic reason I thought this location was a Super Target. It is not. I say that because if you are looking for a full scale market this is not it. They do have a grocery section location to the right as soon as you walk in the store but their refrigerated items are limited. I use this location a lot because it is a mile from my job.That's a plus. It is also located next to Publix. TJMaxx, Office Depot and a few other stores. The store is immaculate. Nothing and I do mean nothing is junky or out of place. The buggys are always plentiful. The handicap buggys are always ready to go. This the only location that has the faster newer style handicap buggys. People that use them will know what I mean. There is a Starbucks located to the left of the entrance along with clean restrooms. I never have an issue finding what I'm looking for in this location. There are a ton of employees working even at opening. They are super helpful. One thing I love about Target is every few rows has a price scanner on the end of the row in plain sight Walmart could easily learn that lesson from Target. read more

Worst Target I have been in...... the store was dirty and this was a morning visit. It is not that the store was unstaffed or needing merchandise, it was unkept. Stay away from this location. I bought a gaming headset that was defective, so I exchanged it and the new one was defective. Now I'm on to the third one. I spoke to a "manager" on the phone who was unprofessional and accusatory and ended up hanging up on me in the middle of a sentence. No one at the store has any idea who this "manager" is, so there is no way to hold anyone accountable. I'm currently at the store where another manager is claiming to search for this "manager" but is clearly just hiding in the office hoping I leave. They obviously don't hire based on merit or professionalism. Save yourself a headache and go to Walmart or another target location read more

The Target store is a complete mess. Clothes and merchandise are all over the floor and out of place. The dressing room area is a disaster. It is very unpleasant to go shopping in this messy environmnet. The clientele that visit this store are animals. Clothing is dropped all over the floor and nothing is returned to it's proper place by the customers. The staff are frustrated and unable to keep the store tidy because there is so much chaos with out of place items. The staff have voiced that they are unable to educate the customer on proper etiquette in the store and how to return items to the proper location. The customer will complain to Target Customer Service about the staff and their experience. Target will in turn, reward the customer with a gift card. There appears to be no management staff around so there is no leadership to help with this mess. Theft is a problem also, so the customers aren't honoring the capitalistic system in America. I went to this Target recently without any real goals in mind. This of course is an easy way to spend quite a bit of money. Target is fun to visit. This particular Target has Smart Sweets - one of the latest trends. Eat an entire bag of candy but only down 3g of sugar. Black magic! I'm a fan regardless. This isn't something you find at every Target. I have to give this store 5 stars in particular because of how hard they work to keep everybody safe in our current environment. All shopping carts are wiped down. Self checkout stations are sanitized in between customers. This is a level of commitment not found in every business. This store is fairly out of the way for me, but I'd happily stumble bumble my way back to support a place that tries to do things the right way. read more

This is not my favorite target because it's so small and sometimes stocks weird things. It is the closest though so when I need something quick this is where I got. I do have to brag on them(and up their rating) because of how well they handled the register outage this weekend. They were letting people know on the way in, figuring out how to work around the issues, and giving out Starbucks samples. read more

This has to be the worst store in the metro. They don't even bother to staff the store appropriately so there's usually no lines open aside from checkout. And then all of their self checkout kiosks aren't even functional so there's a long line of people waiting to cluelessly ring themselves up. Better off going to .......Walmart. Yeah. This is our closest Target, so we go pretty frequently. They never fail to deliver all of the ordinary things we may be looking for in a normal Target run. Their selection does not seem to be as ample as other Targets, and if I am looking something that I think may be hard to find, I usually opt for a larger store. Not impressed whatsoever. The store is kind of a mess in general with very limited options. It doesn't seem to be well-kept, and the staff members are not very welcoming. Several end caps and multiple items we were searching for were empty or near-empty. No fresh groceries at this location. Granted, it isn't a SuperTarget, but I was surprised at the lack of choice in even "regular" groceries. One plus is that they carry Hint water (and have several flavors that are difficult to find in stores)! The bathrooms at the front of the store (every single stall in the women's room as well as the family room) was the most disgusting I have EVER encountered ANYWHERE. Absolutely vile. It makes me cringe. I love Target, but this store is not one I will be returning to. I will recommend others avoid. read more

This Target is installing a Starbucks in place of their long lingering snack bar ... But I'm not sure if that's going to help. This location used to be one of the premier Targets in the area, you know, like when Target first expanded into the AtL and we all loved going to "Tar-ghay", but Target (the company) has moved into the 'super store' concept and those seem to be better kept, stocked and cleaned than these single stores like this one. This location does not even have some of the 'up and up' basic paper goods (and the like) that I would think should be found in every Target. I've been starting to consider this Target location to be sliding toward Wal-mart territory and that's not a complement. read more

I stopped here on the way home from lunch, hoping to get some organic peanut butter and baby body wash. I found neither, which sucked, as AT and I were with our little one and his patience had run out in the high chair as we were rapidly vacuuming our food. I swept the store as quickly as possible, thinking that maybe I wasn't searching in the right places. I even had employees help me look but we all came up empty-handed. Alas, the selection at this Target is inferior to what you find at most and it's likely because it's not Super Target. The store is very outdated and has bare minimums in the grocery department. The store kinda seemed disorganized and untidy. Even though I was dissatisfied by what I found (or couldn't find...), the checkout lines were pretty long. Please open more cash registers, as this would obviously solve the problem. For the socially inept (i.e., me), self-checkout would be massively welcome too. As far as I can tell, this is a Target, not a Super Target. Which means it's not going to have an extensive grocery and bakery selection like a Super Target would. As for what the others have said, yes, some of the layout is a bit problematic, but I found the staff to be more than accommodating. Which is saying a lot, considering it's the holidays, when people shop last minute in droves. I ordered a drink at the Starbucks, because I had forgotten to eat before I left home, and found the cashier very pleasant. We chatted as she made my drink, and she did not show any kind of bitterness about the job. Later on, when I was confused about a certain section in the store, a sales associate was very amicable and, once again, chatty in a friendly sort of way as she showed me to the area I was looking for. read more

This target sucks. None of the employees like their job. They have no sense of urgency or initiative. Their cashiers are the slowest I've ever seen. There could be 100 people in line and they'll have two registers open. I haven't ever been impressed by the stocking in their clothing departments. They never seem to have mediums and are usually organized in a confusing manner -- regular sizes in the maternity section, teen stuff in the professional's section, and sales stuff on unmarked racks. I dare not even venture into the dressing rooms. They also seem to have gotten rid of most of their clearance sections. No more video game clearance and very few sporting goods on clearance. Lame. I'd rather go to Wal-Mart. read more

I absolutely love Target (see my other review on a different location), but this location is just not very good. Walking into this Target makes me feel like I've stepped back in time, back to circa 1999. It's still got sections of old carpet, the fluorescent squiggle design on the walls, and the old section signs in pre-redesign don't. Everything just looks very outdated. I'm not sure why this location has stayed this way when every other Target I've been to in recent years have all been "refreshed" to meet the new brand standards. This store also just doesn't feel very clean to me. I saw a house centipede crawling around during my most recent visit. There's something about seeing a nasty insect that leaves a lasting negative impression. On the positive side, the inventory is just as good as any other Target. I MUCH prefer the Target about 3 miles in the opposite direction on Medlock. read more

Holy heck, this is a depressing target. The place is dirty, dimly lit and outdated. They are usually out of stock on a number of items, no matter when I come to shop. I've had the unfortunate pleasure of the one older cashier, who lacks a smile, pleasant demeanor and really any customer service skill. This is by far, the worst target I've ever gone to shop at. I didn't find that in FLA, but I came to GA and found just what I was looking for. I also found a saloon girl costume and got it for $5. It was one you could only get on line. I love Target. I remember when Target first started cropping up where I'm from in Illinois, and being awed by a place with low prices, tons of selection, fun advertising, and not Walmart. Suffice to say, I'm a huge Target fan. When I stepped into this Target, I felt like I was stepping back in time. It's organized just like the Targets were when they first cropped up. The old enormous signage hanging from the ceiling, the two or three aisles of a sad, strange array of groceries, the empty jewelry and accessories section because they hadn't become awesome at it yet. HOW does this Target still look this way?! I was able to find what I needed (laundry detergent and greeting cards) but there was no fun unnecessary spending, no cool discoveries, no combing through endless $1 finds... the store is bare! Dimly lit! Minimalistic! I hope there's a better, more modern Super Target somewhere nearby, or else residents of this area are sorely missing out. I wouldn't come back unless I had to. There was only one line open after 9pm. I inquired if the self service were all down. Woman in a black jacket said yes and walked away rudely. I found out through the clerk this was the assistant manager. Your joking? So, I inquired of the STORE manager; the clerks could not give me a name. I inquired if I can pay at customer service, the young clerk woman said she just started at this store and kept walking after exiting the counter a few seconds earlier. The next clerk attending to a customer ahead of me said "no you can't pay at the CS counter." I stated you can as I have done so in the past. To that particular moment, the assistant manager did not intervene, but was speaking to a male associate a few feet away. Of course, the next day, I called this location to inquire of the manager, the attendant did not know the name' and placed me on hold for 12 minutes too long. The store manager finally was located and apologized that this occurred. She then took back the apology by stating she was the only manager on duty. I am appalled! How conflicting as the night before no employee was able to confirm a manager's name. I wanted to know the process, so I know NOT to shop before 9 PM at this location again since being inconvenienced that night. The store manager Melissa (or so she claimed) stated they shut down the self-service after 9PM. This should be noted to all customers who may need to access this POS. So chaotic and unbelievable! This location need immediate retraining of their SOP. I watched this establishment dwindle down in the past three years. Shame on the response time, shame on the high attitudes, and shame on management for apologizing about customer dissatisfaction without no recourse. Target is no target! They need to measure their performances to remain competitive in the marketplace. Also, remind their managers of "getting things done" and assisting their low-level workers to they can care more about their positions. Strategic leaders for Target need to remember that goals are not reached without customers.
