After posting a Yelp review for another Target, I realized that I hadn't ever posted a review for the Target near me which my wife and/or I frequent on a regular basis. In fact, to be honest, Target is probably my wife's favorite store, and it's where she goes to just go for a walk, occasionally picking up groceries, finding gifts for people, and even picking up something for herself every now and then. It's sometimes scary to see what she comes up with. Even so, this Target store is easy to maneuver, has a great selection and sales, usually has items in stock, and has helpful associates. Besides the store itself, it is easy to use the app to see what promotions there are, to earn Target Circle rewards, and to keep track of what we purchase. The outcome was resolved by Apple After They received a receipt from the store, in 10 days my bank reversed a $100 Charge. Yesterday I shared my good fortune! My husband and I went to this location on January 10th, 2026, a little after 6 p.m. We were in the area for dinner and decided to stop by to grab a few items. There was plenty of parking available, the associates were friendly, and the store was clean and spacious. There are also several other stores and restaurants nearby, which adds to the convenience of the location. read more

Awful customer service. I came in to return an item and told the cashier to please issue me a gift card for my refund. He said absolutely nothing to acknowledge what I said and then proceeded to refund my Target card and then said - "Oh, you wanted a gift card, sorry." Worst Target ever!! Was pulled into assets office recently to be questioned about items that were supposedly being shoplifted?? Then supposedly they gave me a 1year trespass notice?? What happened?? I ordered on line target plus items and was over the time frame by 5 days by not knowing and was still out of town because it was my first time ordering on line with them. They refused to resolve my issue by offering a return with a store gift card instead of back to my credit card. Not good . Poor return policy especially if their items are up to a year return. read more

In and out is the way to go!!! Stopped here to grab a few items and as always, the prices were comparable to today's prices on pretty much everything. Never opens on time. Not to mention how incredibly incorrect their app information is. Half the things I went in for said they were in stock, absolutely nothing in shelf and no employees willing to look in the back for the products. I get working in customer service/retail is annoying(I work in that area as well) but it is not hard to just simply help someone. Especially when you're getting paid to do so. read more

I was actually en route via foot (short walking distance from my hotel) to Dollar Tree to get a few travel size toiletries that I forgot to pack; however, Dollar Tree was closed so I hopped on over here. Store was not busy at all for the time of morning (8ish) and very clean you could eat right off the floor! Asked a cashier where the travel sized items were and she directed me to where they were located (found what I needed & they were priced in line with Dollar Tree}. Will definitely be back if needing other items! read more

I love Target it is my happy place for sure! I'm always fascinated going into different locations to checkout how they're doing. I was pleasantly surprised when I came into this location and saw the big Ulta sign. Oh my goodness. So happy!! It was a nice little set up with a fair selection of products. It was also very well stocked. There was, I think, an Ulta employee there. She was dressed in the standard issue black Ulta uniform. Either way, she was friendly & offered to assist but wasn't over bearing which I really appreciated. It seems like the store might still be undergoing some renovations but if not, then there really is no excuse for the floors to look as scuffed and rough as they did. The store seemed well stocked generally and had a good selection of items across the board. I would definitely come back to this location. read more

I don't shop at Target much and not a major fan but I liked this one. The electronics dept. did an excellent job(I think the sales clerks name is Brandon but could be wrong). I was in a rush and the young man got me the trac phone I wanted, extra storage battery(that has been working well unlike others I've bought)and 30 days of phone time all for just under $100 which is a great deal in my opinion. I was able to get in and out with my purchases(exactly what I wanted)in under 30 minutes. I subtract one star for a hard to find location(confusing road circle with alot of stores)and they were out of alot of items but I was lucky not the items I wanted. Recommended. read more

Yesterday, I stopped in Target needing a case of water, dog chews, long fluffy socks for a rice sock project I'm doing. I found all three plus a humidifier w: aromatherapy for $19! The best part of my trip was meeting Cat in cosmetics. Cat runs the Ulta store in Target and works the other side of Target beauty. Cat was friendly- knowledgeable and explained that although I couldn't use my Ulta Credit Card in the Target Ulta- I could link my Target account to my Ulta account and still get the points from any Ulta purchase. Cat scanned a bar code in Ulta via my camera on I phone. I entered my account info for Ulta and in less than 5 min. Success! The Ulta account was linked. If you are looking for a non pushy but, valuable consultant in beauty- please ask for Cat. Cat was sweet enough to send me with a few samples of product and a hug. Target is a great shopping store. Clothes could be a little more organized, but you can still find stuff. Target is great with exchanges and returns. Their food is not expired and very tidy. They have pick-up orders that only take about 2 hours and fast delivery, shipping. When I go to target, I can find every thing I need. Staff are friendly and kind. The only thing good about this location is the men's toiletries section. Otherwise, the store is a mess. Much of the inventory on shelves is in complete disarray, often spilling over onto the floor. It's as if the employees have given up trying to keep anything in order. It's difficult to imagine anyone from management walking around this store and thinking it was up to Target standards. This place is horrible! Went there for a sports bra and underwear. None to be found....racks where bras were are unorganized and disarray....same with underwear. Some areas there were none to be found at all. I also shopped for kitchen containers to put my kefir and there were none I needed for my size and again the area was no organized at all. read more

I like this store, and the employees. However, I do not like the companies push for customers to use the self-check-out machines. I know all the target stores seem to be doing this lately, but it is not good customer service to push customers to ring up their own items. Customers are not trained to use these machines therefor they should not be pushed to use them. Not only that, but it takes away the human interaction, and jobs for humans, so I just do not support the push for self-check-out machines. If they want to push for the self-check-out, they should at least always offer, at least one lane of real check-out so that customers can make the choice. read more

I came into target to find a bar set for my boyfriend that I have seen in silver before it but couldn't find in that color. I only found it in gold in store and approached Quazilaon for assistance. He didn't hesitate to give me his BUSINESS CARD!! and radio to guest services to make sure they took care of me - specifically telling them my name and asking them to let everyone know I'll be heading over soon- and made sure I could get it shipped straight to my home. Phenomenal customer service and he was super helpful and polite. Best target experience Ive had out of many. 10/10 xx Also if he was the CEO of target everyone else would be out of business. Recently, I've been treated less than a good customer at this Target lately. I'm not sure why there has been a shift in customer service at this particular store. I made arrangements with one manager over the phone to pick up an item that wasn't correct in my pick-up order. She explained that you can stop by to pick it up at guest services. When I stopped by to get it at the agreed upon time, it wasn't on hold, so the guest services supervisor said I can go get them myself in the store. I get the item and as I was leaving I let the self-check out supervisor know that it was cleared by a manager, and the supervisor at guest services. She asked, in a loud enough voice where the people around us could hear, did you bring the other item back, or are you paying for this item. I had the money to buy more, but was told by the manager on the phone that I could just pick them up as a result of my order not being correct initially. It was an embarrassing and time consuming experience that could have been handled better. Also, a grocery store drive-up attendant felt the need to spend at least 5 to 10 minutes going back and forth with me in the parking lot on how long orders are typically filled. I explained that I had been waiting approximately an hour, and that I was told that orders can take 1 1/2 to 2 hours to fill. He made sure to over explain that it can take up to 3 hours to fill. In his words "let me make it clear..." I said that it has never been my experience to have to wait that long, and that I wasn't told it takes that long by any other employee or manager. He could have stated his case and agreed to disagree, but he wanted to make a point I guess. Maybe I'm the only one that has had a less than pleasant experience at this store lately. read more

There are almost always long lines on weekends with only 2 cashier lanes open. Perhaps one of the young employees who are on their phone texting and smiling at their phone in the workplace when they should be focused on stocking shelves should become one of the extra cashiers. read more

This review is about the Target in Paradise Valley, but in general, go to any Target and in my experience it will generally be the same. Mostly good, sometimes something missing and usually someone to help. In this case, I had received on my birthday an email for 5% off. Could be better, but still better than nothing. I went into the store and at the register the coupon shows as invalid. Should the Cashier have honored ut anyway... absolutely. She didn't. I waited, called their customer service number, but they were closed. Called back a few days later, got switched a few times and then got someone who told me it was not valid. Being the persistent sort, I asked for her supervisor. She told me she was the head of customer service. I said that I didn't believe her, since she could barely speak English. She told me it was invalid. I said, fine there were other stores I could go to. Today, I was driving home and decided to just go back into the Paradise Valley store and asked for a manager. Shortly after, I spoke with a manager, I believe Chelsea was her name. Very friendly, and busy but she took the time to listen. Asked what the problem was and I explained. Couldn't even duplicate it because of the store Wifi. She still said it was fine, and was sorry that I had to spend do much time trying to resolve it. I mean we are talking about $5 off of $100. She asked if she could just give me a gift card. I said fine and just like that, the problem was over. Should it have been solved before... yes, but it was resolved now. I am sure she would have done the same for anyone, as would most store managers at Target. There was no yelling or screaming, just 1 person trying to resolve a issue, which again is how most Target stores work. I am glad that I stopped back in, and hope you do also. Other stores could learn a lot So if you go, and have a problem, do yourself a favor. Ask for a manager, maybe you will find someone like Chelsea. read more

I left a bad review awhile ago for target because they screwed up the preorder of my Xbox console. It arrived late but it did arrive. I don't blame them anymore. It was a supply chain issue. They still shouldn't offer pre orders if they can't honor them, but this was a rarity and every retailer was having the same issue. read more

Ahhhh Target. Old reliable. I frequent this location and have had good experiences. Associates have always been friendly in my encounters with them. It's a standard target layout, but even though I am here regularly I think they do a good job at changing displays in the clothing sections, as well as switching out the latest DVDs. The grocery section has pretty much anything you need in a pinch. For being a large store it's usually pretty clean and organized. The toy section is the only one that can get a little crazy. The bathrooms are also hit and miss, but that's what I get for using a department store bathroom. I will say though, they are clean enough to use, which is more than I can say for some other locations. read more

I stopped by this east valley location yesterday, not my usual Target. I couldn't believe the big plastic screens were still up in the checkout area! I felt like I was transported back to 2020, you know, before they realized that upgrading the ventilation and increasing circulation of air markedly improved safety. It was like being in a Covid hot box, trapped between tons of screens with no air movement. Please, for safety's sake TAKE DOWN THE PLASTIC SCREENS!! I shop here daily, I've watched as they are doing their construction and the amount of water being wasted out of a leaking hose in the parking lot is devastating to witness. Surely Target can afford the parts to not leak and waste hundreds of gallons of water per day. read more
