Misleading and/or expired "for sale" stickers are posted all over the store. Like today, Dec. 26 I bought two frozen dinners because I saw a "buy 1 get 1 for 50% off" sticker. Then I was charged full price at the register for both. Went back to check the 50% off sticker and saw, in small, hard to notice print, "12/14 to 12/20". read more

I stopped in this past Saturday afternoon since I was in Placerville. Glad I did. The place opened in September. They totally remodeled the inside to look like a typical Target, it still has that brand new sparkly look. It took over a spot that was previously a KMart. So it's a bit smaller in size and inventory to the Folsom and El Dorado Hills locations. There is no garden center. But they do have a Starbucks coffee stand. The public restrooms are all the way in the middle back of the store. Plus in January, the women's clothing included swimsuits/bikinis and flip flops. So I bet this would be a perfect spot for out of town road trippers to stop to buy needed provisions when passing through to Tahoe or any of the local vacation spots. Also you should check out their groceries. Somehow Target prices on staple items and canned goods are cheaper than most grocery stores. For instance, Target's brand "Good&Gather" canned vegetables are 55 cents, Thomas English Muffins $2.99. Regarding COVID precautions, I noticed all staff (from stockers, cashiers, Starbucks barista) and shoppers wore their masks while inside. Manager named Chris should be FIRED! I went shopping with my mom the other day only to see this young man (who I originally thought was a child) screaming (and I mean SCREAMING) at his co-worker. VERY unprofessional behavior and was acting like a man-child. I feel awful for the employees that have to work under him. I hope the employee that he was screaming at gets a better job that treats them right! Chris gives the target brand a bad name. read more

Made a stop here for coffee on the road. Service was alright. Staff greeted us as we walked towards the encounter to order. One staff walked up and asked what we would like then walked away before we could order. The other staff who saw what happened came and apologized and helped take our order. Drinks came out quick but my drink was pretty messy as it kept dripping out under the lid. Overall, not a busy place to make a stop on the road heading up towards Tahoe. read more

On 1/26/25 went shopping for my nephew, spent $300. Came back that evening to return 2 pair of pants, cashier was not able to refund cash...only store credit, we talked a bit, then a young kid named Ethan, injected himself into conversation, he was extremely rude, pointed toward the door and told us to leave, he also was recording our interaction. I called corporate and called store directly, he was so offensive. I never heard back from store or corporate. I will not shop at Target ever again. So sad that this kid represents what Target stands for, very disappointed. read more

I want to give a huge appreciation review to Nathan (if I have your name mixed up, my apologies; if you took a call on Black Friday/11.25.22 around 9:40am, you're the MVP I'm talking about!) I had gone to two other target stores that morning in the area looking for a specific video game on sale for Black Friday; both places had unfortunately sold out in store and I needed the item that day. In terms of swimwear and summer needs they had nothing. The Ross down the way also didn't have much but, I was expecting that.

I really like this target. It is smaller then most targets. I just a little bummed there isn't a garden section. I do love the employees here thry are very friendly and helpful. Plus the starbucks in here never has a line. I love being able to come in get what i need and get out. read more

This Target hardly ever has anything on the shelves, actual empty shelves, is always messy and I can never find what I came for. Worth the drive to go further to EDH which is always stocked and in good shape. Staff is not super friendly, worst Target in the area. read more

Went in to get a starbucks drink and use the restrooms. The barista was incredibly rude and ignored us while asking about their "find the elf for a free kids hot chocolate sign". After getting our drinks we realized how poorly they were made. -10/10 never again. I'll be stopping at the El dorado target from now on. read more

This is the worst Target I've been to. The aisles are chaotic with product thrown in wrong areas so that it's difficult to find what you are looking for. I asked an employee where I could find clothes hampers. He wasn't sure and looked up and down the aisles only to exclaim he didn't know, but it should be around here somewhere. I never found them. I did find a curtain rod to purchase so I headed to a register. A young man behind the register did not greet me. The curtain rod was not ringing up which he informed me happens sometimes. He asked me how much I wanted to pay for it. I wasn't sure what he meant, but he kept asking me. I said I could not remember what the price was. I was embarrassed that I didn't even look. I didn't know how much curtain rods normally cost. So I kept saying I didn't know. Then he asked me, "how about $7?" I said with shock, "Am I on camera? Is this a game? Can't you ask a manager or something?" He looked at me with disgust, and called on his radio for help. A young woman came, took the rod and came back with the price. It was more than $7. The man angrily grinned at me and said, "ya should have taken my price. Feel pretty stupid now, huh?" Yeah, this felt like I was in some privately owned hardware store in a small town in the Midwest where it would have made more sense to barter, but then it should have come with Midwest kindness which it did not. Who barters prices at the register at a Target? So very unprofessional and disorganized. read more

This business is out of touch with the majority of Americans. I absolutely despise companies that incorporate politics into their business. I canceled my red card and will never step foot in the place again. Truth is, this location has been so small and understocked since it opened anyway. I would just like to say that the target employee named Noah who helped me in customer service is absolutely hands-down their best employee he helped me tremendously with a large cat and jack return and I am beyond grateful as a stay at home mother. I almost hesitate to write a good review simply because when I find somewhere I like, I don't know if I want everyone else there to 'ruin' it- but this place deserves the kudos. I like that this target is smaller than the behemoth targets where I used to live.In fact, I will probably shop there more than in my old digs simply because it doesn't take me forever to get from one end of the store to another and it's not super crowded all the time with people having to bring the entire family everywhere during covid and kids running rampant all over, like say the stores in Serramonte in Daly City where you practically have to park in another zip code and between the size of the store and the horrific lines that go on forever- it's a big deal to just get a few everyday things or a toaster. At this one there's always parking not too far out at this one, and the prices are good there, the employees are actually pleasant and helpful, they don't look at you like they hate you and it's not super crowded, most customers were wearing the masks though I'm not sure how much longer we are all supposed to do this , I'm vaxxed but I always wear it in stores even if I get the smirk from those more to the right of me, I'm not going to give anyone crap for not doing it for the short amount of time I'm there, I just stay away from them. This Target is cute it's small it's a single story store that is smaller than most, it does sell some groceries a decent selection of non perishables, a toy dept. a media dept. some art supplies and of course clothing for all there is a sanitization station at the entrance and i must say that the store is very clean and new. read more

Not a full size store so the selection is quite minimal. Went it with a list of things I can find at any normal target store and came back with less then half of what was on it which is quite frustrating. I'd rather make the further trip to a normal store if I'm looking for anything specific. If you are just going to browse then this one is fine. read more

Used Drive-Up service while on a road trip, and it was SO convenient!!! The app gave perfect instructions, waited LESS THAN 2 MINS and if you do not want a bag you can refuse at the time they deliver and they refund you the bag charge ($1.00?). The woman was very nice and it was quick, easy and convenient! Saw the Now Open sign from HWY 50 and wish I could have seen the inside! Ha! read more

I was excited when this location finally opened as it is much closer to my house than the Folsom location which is where I usually shop. Upon entering I was very disturbed to see that masks were not required and quite a few shoppers were not wearing them at all or had them pulled down around their necks. As someone who is near family members that are high risk I always wear a mask in public for there benefit as well as the people around me. I refuse to shop at any store that doesn't require masks to not only protect their customers but their employees. I will not be back to this location and will drive the extra half hour to the Folsom location that does require masks and cares about the welfare of its customers and employees read more

I have to do a review, because I want for everyone to know how perfect my DRIVE IN PICKUP was. I was actually surprised by how perfect my experience was. I simply ordered on the Target App for drive in pickup. Then, drove to Target. Parked. And the guy immediately brought out my order, put it into my trunk, and I left. Easy! Fast! Perfect! Big box store, lots of employees, why is there only one check stand open in the morning when people are in a rush to get to work? Two gals standing in customer service checkouts just chatting/gossiping, so I ask if I can checkout there as I have seen them offer that when store is busy, the answer is no.
