This location should avoid hiring teen girls. The two teen girl who were working fitting yesterday were so unhelpful & rude. I asked them if I could put three items to the side while I try clothes on & they " misplaced " them by the time I was out ? Then instead of helping me sends me out to the store to look for others and try to refind the items. I really wanted to support this Target because it was a great addition to Natomas. And because it's right by my house, it was always my go-to for household/health items. However, as the years go by, the condition of this Target has declined drastically. The many times I've come here, it seems like their inventory is low or completely gone. Sometimes, I feel like they're on the verge of going out of business because their aisles are either unorganized/dirty or just empty... It's pathetic. I hate going to Walmart because of the crowd, the customers, and customer service but I've reached the point where I would rather go there than this Target because I often leave this particular store disappointed and not with everything I was in search of. So today I came in to return a few items there was a woman in customer service name Stephanie a Hispanic younger Woman. She was very rude it looks like she was having a really bad day and she is projecting it on other customers she did not smile or greet me when I walked up I had three different returns and three different receipts she told me that one of the items on the receipt but it did it was she snatched the receipt out of my hand and said oh and continue to process the return. This just happened today around 4:00 PM if they wanted to check the cameras as well to see how rude she was. People like this shouldn't be working in customer service because it's not a good look for this company. Every time I go to the self-checkout they always accuse me of not scanning larger items and always ask to see receipt afterwards. It's always the same 2 ladies in the earlier morning who are suppose to be supervising the self checkout area. First of all I use to work at target as a cashier and know who ever is the person to monitor people at the self-checkout should accurately do their job and look when people are scanning their own items. I know number one to scan all larger/bulky/heavy items first (its drilled in my mind from working at target). I don't appreciate being accused every time I go in to this location that I didn't scan everything in my cart, especially when I spend a lot of money there. read more

Clean, big store, well organized, friendly employees: Natomas Target. This Target is one of the largest and cleanest Target stores I have been to in the Sacramento area. It may or may not be the same size, but it feels much larger. I feel like the grocery section looks pristine (for a Target) and there are always workers stocking the shelves when I go in before 11am (to avoid the crowds). I don't usually buy produce at Target, but if you are in a bind for some onions or bananas and just can't make it to your favorite grocery store, you can find produce here. I've asked employees at other Targets to help me find something or if they had something in stock, and literally the extent of them helping is to say "I'm not really sure" and not check , or do anything after that (come on, really? How did you get hired here?!). I've always had great luck getting employee help from this specific Natomas Target. Sad that Security is always profiling in here. I guess it's against the law to have over $200 worth of items in your cart while Brown skinned. You'll be followed or security will gaze at your basket at check out....AT CHECK OUT (while you're paying!). Been coming here for 16 years and it's been my experience each time. My family spends thousands every other month in here from our hard earned money but because we're Brown, they just assume we're up to no good and not that we own businesses. Other targets do not do this!!!! The one on Fulton and Alta Arden and the one in West sac are peaceful and pleasant. This Target is always out of something I need whenever I go there. The grocery section is the worst. They're low or out of a lot of items, no matter what day of the week. I watched them build this Target in Natomas and it was very clean and well taken care of. But lately the facility has not been looking that great and the womens bathroom is down right nasty. There are merchandise laying on the floors and no one working there even bothers to pick them up and hang back up. Worse and rudest target I've ever been to. Tried to use the target cash I received through paypal to buy my nephew a gift card for his birthday. Was rudely told by the manager that I couldn't use a 'target gift card' to buy another gift card. Tried to explain that this was target cash through paypal. Still did not work. So I had to split my purchase and tried to pay for the non-gift card items with the target cash and I couldn't view the barcode on my email because my phone did not have cellular service. So I had to step out get cellular service to download the email with the barcode. After a ridiculous 30 minutes later, I finished paying for my items only using half of my target cash and paying for the gift card out of pocket. Just ridiculous. Usually this is my go to for everything until last night, my daughter always gets lunchables and eats them while we shop and then when we are done I pay and I have a happy kid with no complaints. Well, tonight I got lucky she was paying attention before she just started shoving food in her mouth. Upon opening the lunchable the turkey was COVERED in mold. The crackers were crunched and the only normal thing was the cheese. Usually, I wouldn't make a deal of it. Things happen, but when I took it up to customer service... no one seemed to care, I got no apology, I got no reassurance they would be taken off the shelves, NOTHING. Just an " oh my, that's gross and they threw it away. Completely appalled. My 6 year old could've ate that and been terribly sick. Makes no sense, I hope you guys can get it together. I was THIS close to waving my right hand back and forth in front of me while snapping my fingers. Okay, so maybe the motion detectors in the frozen food aisle had a little something to do with my superhuman MJ abilities. Let me have my moment of glory. In the next aisle over, red seedless grapes were on sale- $1.98 for 2 pounds. Now, you may be thinking what a steal that is. Trust me, I was too! But even small things like that I sometimes contemplate buying if I don't really need them. Yup, I'm that frugal. Then the song played again: "Just remember to always think twice... Don't think twice! (echo) WOO!" OH ya. I got those grapes and they were gooooood. No gross shriveled ones either...just sweet, flavorful and fresh. Thanks for the advice MJ. I also picked up a dozen eggs for $1.19! We all know how stylish, innovative and well-priced Target is. This location in particular, however, is the first one I've noticed in Sac that carries produce. Although the selection is not as vast as Wal-Mart's, if the grapes were an indication as to how awesome the other goods are, quality trumps quantity in my book. This one is also the first to switch over to the ergonomic shopping carts and baskets which I absolutely love. Yes, love. Of all the "you can buy almost everything" chain retail stores out there, Target is my go-to place for well-priced, quality items. IN GENERAL: This frugalista fashionista (normally an Express/Aldo Shoes kind of gal) is a fan of the Mossimo brand. I have quite a few pairs of cute and surprisingly comfy heels from this brand. You can definitely be trendy without breaking the bank! Every now and then I find adorable, youth-friendly accessories by Merona. If you have the patience, look through the sales/clearance sections of the Accessories and Women's Clothing department for items from either brand. I'm also a big fan of their Target brand items -- I've gotten essentials like contact solution, eyedrops, ibuprofin and allergy medicine that work great and are MUCH cheaper than the name brand stuff. FOR THIS TARGET: I think the condition of the bathrooms is the window to a store's soul... The bathrooms here are kept in superb condition! No toilet paper everywhere, lack of TP or paper towels OR disturbing odors. Not gonna lie, it smells pleasant in their bathrooms! Ok, I can't speak for the men's bathroom but since when do they really care about the cleaniness of where they take a leak? The 4 stars also go towards their customer service. I usually shop after work and it gets pretty backed-up at the check-out lines sometimes. They're usually pretty quick at opening up additional lines and a manager is there to direct customers. I no longer trust the safety of this store and I will never return to this location. Two emblems were torn off the back of my car while I was shopping. My car was parked directly in front of the doors and next to the area where carts are returned. A store surveillance camera was perched directly above my car. My car was in the perfect location to be protected, or at least seen by security. I immediately went inside the store to speak with a manager. Store employees did not immediately check video and did not offer to provide a copy of the video. Store security was not a visible presence outside the store. Target has no formal incident report and encourages you file a police report. How can this store assess how many of its customer's are harassed or burglarized at its store? The store did not seem interested in finding out the thief's identity, to either tell me or to alert their own security. A store should immediately attempt to identify a person and then search the parking lot for that person. If a person vandalized one car, in perfect view of passers-by and a security camera, I imagine they aren't afraid the do the same to other cars parked anywhere within the lot. Be aware: the video cameras are there to protect the store, not to protect you. I asked the employees if I could get a copy of the relevant recording. They said no. If someone visible was seen on the recording, the video would be forwarded to police, and I would need to ask them for the video. That is an unnecessary hoop to jump through, and frankly, police shouldn't spend its time on such a petty crime. If the video is clear, I would like it and would post it online. It's evidence, and the store is doing nothing less than withholding evidence. My score has nothing to do with the quality of Target department stores. Target is my favorite standard shop for essentials otherwise. I'll go to other locations, and I now have another reason to avoid Natomas. read more

This Target in Natomas is not only SUPER CLEAN & has everything, but they now have even more... a grocery section!! A super cool grocery section that when you walk through the cold/frozen food aisles, the lights turn on for you and it feels like you're walking into heaven! LOVE THIS TARGET This target is CLEAN and never busy. It has everything I can I need from electronics to produce to over the counter medication. I usually come here for toiletries such as toothpaste, body wash, shampoo, lotion etc. and cleaning supplies. I find that their prices are always consistent if they are not on sale. I will always prefer this over Walmart (across the street) any day because its a lot more organized and CLEANER. read more

The short: A Target surrounded by the normal stores in a strip mall The long: Every once in awhile I have to venture up into this part of town and if I need some general item I will try to shoot in here and get it. Only if I am in the area though because between Wally world on one side of the road this on the other and a gaggle of strip mall shops in between this place can get to be hell. There is nothing spectacular about this Target. I actually find it to be one of my less favorite stores as they are always out of a lot of items and I can never find an employee. Adding in the sheer headache of getting inside the store and well it is a only when necessary stop. I LOVE LOVE Target so I can't give it anything less than 5 stars. As for this location, the only thing I can find wrong is the parking could be a cluster f* at times. They have a Starbucks inside and their plastic carts are easy to manuver. I love that they have eco-friendly freezers because they are motion sensored and only turn on when someone walks by. LISTEN UP! Target would now like us all to check the serial number from the products we purchase and match them to the receipt before you leave the store. If you don't and they make a mistake... They won't exchange it. They won't let you speak with a manager. Instead, they call security over and treat you like a big loooooooser. Make sure to verify your serial numbers before you leave the store. That is what happened with the itouch purchased for my son's birthday. It won't work, so naturally I tried to exchange it. Who knows how they rang it up with the wrong serial number. After some google'ng I learned it happens all of the time. I had the receipt, card used to purchase and I friggen knew I bought it at target. Low and behold was I shocked out of my mind. I later learned that this happend to my step son with a pair of shoes. I like Target. Their locations are usually good as far as access, parking is often plentiful, and it's not Walmart. The best thing about this store is probably the fact that it's not Walmart. Target may not have the extra abundant crap that Walmart may offer, but they also don't have the extra abundant crap lying on every aisle like Walmart does. .....anyone see where I'm going with this? This Target is located off of 1-80 and Truxel near the Old Navy and Beverages and More. The store is a bit on the smaller end compared to other Targets, the staff at some others have shown better service, but it is still soooo much better than that cluster Fudge know as Walmart down the street. The store is in over all good condition, clean, and well stocked. The biggest down fall is the over all size compared to other Targets, and the lack of helpful enthusiasm of the staff. People that work here are hit-and-miss, some people are really enthusiastic about their jobs and happy to help and others could literally not care any less and are extremely unhelpful. The clientele at this location is also a mixed bag of nuts, you have tons of cultural diversity so it's not uncommon to see disagreements or some ghetto Behavior. Young old, doesn't matter.. My size (L) is generally the first to disappear off the racks at the store also, so whenever there are sales or really good 30 to 70% off discounts you have to come quickly. I do notice that this location does tend to be messy and in disarray, maybe they are understaffed not sure.. But for me considering where I live you just can't beat the location. And it's five steps above Walmart across the street! read more

I was surprised to see so many housewives in the beautiful expanse of concrete and boxstores here. They were all dressed up to shop at Target in their 4 inch heels, freshly styled hair, and my friend even spotted a lady with a fresh set of new boobs. I guess even rich ladies like to find deals. I found a cute dress for about 20$ by one of Target's "designer of the month". I think the designers are only commissioned for a month because that's the average lifespan of the clothing. I'm afraid to wash my dress. I am kinda new to buying Target clothes and I overheard another shopper saying they hated Target because if you're a size 8, you need to buy a size 11. . Upon initially calling I was brushed off when inquiring about inventory on a certain bicycle(was in the building but not scanned in stock). So ,the persistent person I was I came in person and had the electronics supervisor trainee physically locate the item for me. I wasn't able to purchase at first due to liability issues (was yet to be assembled ), he quoted me sometime Sunday it should be available for purchase. Before leaving I wanted to see if I could purchase and come back for it but since it was yet to be in the system or even off the shipping pallet they couldn't do so. After that explanation I wanted to just exercise my last options and speak to whoever possible that might b able to solve this (I just didn't want some else to swoop up on it when I was already there with money willing to purchase )and I was given the welcoming smile of Bre :). Thanks to The Manager Bre and her team(The older gentleman in guest services ,Tania I think her name was and others)she took down my number and would let me know as soon as it was assembled and put out on the floor for the public. She called and you guessed it I dove there as fast as I could to get it. I know things can not be held and there are certain policies but I want to have her recognized for going above and beyond. Why do I keep thinking I'm going to leave this place without spending AT LEAST $100. Why? It NEVER happens. I have a list but do I stick to just my list? NO!!! Target tempts me every single time I walk through the double red doors that open as I walk in. It's like a red carpet should unroll itself as I enter the doors since I spend so much time at Target. Why must the dollar spot be so tempting with its seasonal items that almost always catch my eye if not one of my kids' eyes. The marketing people definitely did their homework on merchandise placement and items to sell in this one tiny spot. You aren't even in the store (fully) yet and you are tempted with their "sweet" deals. Before even going any further into the store, my cart already has about $10 worth of items, just by hitting up the dollar spot. I know I'm a goner at that point. I keep walking and try to head straight to the aisle where the items is located on my list. But, of course someone else happens and I'm detoured off course. Along the aisle is another deal for something else I think the household needs, but is clearly not on my list. Rather than saying to myself that we don't need it at the time, I put it in the cart and question whether it will still be on sale if I don't get it now. Ugh!! $10 more added to my cart. With every seasonal change of the store, everything catches your eye. The marketing people know their market. They know what people want to look at and what will deter them off course and look at something they obviously don't need but want. Yes, I'm that sucker. haha. Don't laugh, you probably have been suckered by the shiny lights, big red sales or clearance signs, glitter, sparkles, etc. too. Don't worry, you aren't alone. We can commiserate in our misery together...after we've spent not less than $100 of course and veered off course from our list. I with this Target had more grocery items. I love what's already offered but I would be nice if there was more. It would definitely limit my additional shopping at other places. I love the deals, cartwheel, mobile coupons, etc. The staff is friendly but it's usually difficult to find someone unless you press one of those buttons and even then it's a bit of a wait. Don't worry Target, while I'm upset with you that you make my wallet lighter every single time, I enjoy my shopping trips here. It's clean, inviting and I find the best deals here.
