This is a great Urban Outfitters location! It is right underneath the Punch Bowl Social, across the way from the Golden One Center. I love that it has a clearly organized layout and it is still a big size without being multiple floors tall. They mostly have a good amount of stock in items, and the stock is always organized by size and easy to shop. The prices are pretty steep but they have great sales pretty often, and always have a sale section open in the back of the store with rotating styles. They usually have trendy pop music playing, so it is a fun vibe inside. The staff are always very welcoming and helpful too. They have a staff member usually right at the entrance to offer help upon arrival. They also have a good amount of fitting rooms, with an attendant at the fitting room desk. I usually park in the DOCO parking structures. They are able to validate parking after you shop. read more

I visited Urban Outfitters on Wednesday, 1/17/24, around 6:30 pm. What I liked about this store was the huge selection of different items. There were a lot of things available for sale such as headbands, necklaces, books, hair bows, beanies, and face masks. I decided to purchase a couple of headbands. The price point of items inside of the store was not too shabby. The customer service was friendly and quick. Parking validation was accepted here as well. I highly recommend coming to Urban Outfitters for home essentials, accessories, clothes, etc. read more

Five stars i go in here all the time to make fun of some of their clothes and look at others i wish i could buy. Thank you guys for never harassing me about my bag or the fact that i sometimes am drinking soda in your store. Today i finally bought something, and yes i did spend too much money, but i must say everyone working was (as always) friendly and nice, especially the person working in the fitting room who helped me find the right size for my expensive pants. Urban Outfitters has changed a lot from what I remember as a kid. This location is located in the trendy DOCO shopping center right next to Golden One Center. Walking past my eyes were drawn to the flashy SALE signs so of course had to check it out. Right away we were greeted with friendly staff. Spent way more time than I expected because I was constantly distracted from all the cool merchandise. I was just expecting some cute clothes but was surprised that they had a little of everything. The clothing of course good quality and trendy. There were so many pretty one of a kind home decor items that I had to resist. There are lot of artsy, kitschy, funny items as well that would make great gifts for all occasions. There's definitely a little of something for everyone. read more

I have not shopped at an actual urban outfitters store since 2015. It's been a busy few years. But I went into the location on J street and it reminded me of how much I used to enjoy shopping there! The store was clean, organized and full. It was super fun to just look at. Even their clearance section was neatly organized and filled nicely. But the customer service is where they shine! I was greeted when I came in, even though they were clearly busy. The atmosphere was just welcoming and it was apparent from the moment I stepped in. I came in specifically for a pair of jeans I saw online that were on sale. I found em! Didn't say they were on sale, but they gave it to me anyway since it was on sale online. When they were ringing me up - they really couldn't do enough for me. They signed me up for emails and I think points? I don't know.... But it came with an additional percent off and, I know it's silly, but it made my day! I got a friendly little text from Urban shortly after about my purchase and I was emailed a copy of my receipt. So. Please shop here. Keep 'em up and open. And be nice to their employees. They are busy and go out of their way to help you. So. You know ... don't be THAT customer. Thanks! read more

The downtown Urban Outfitters has a solid selection and is a nice place to peruse while you kill time wandering the expansive development surrounding the Golden 1 Center. It's one of the few shops there right now but has something for everyone. They don't have a huge selection when it comes to guy clothing, but they do have some cool throwback stuff that could pass for vintage to the untrained eye. Occasionally I see something I like. I usually cut back to the sale section in the far back first. It's also a decent place to find new prints of great vinyl albums, although this store has a much lighter selection that the one in Arden Mall. My friend worked there and the staff is very helpful. She pointed out that newbies should download the app - 10% off your first purchase plus member-only rewards. read more

as of july 30 2020 they require mask to enter the store and yes mask need to be above the nose. there was no one there around 5pm. so you are safe if you decide to pick something up from the store. . I had something in mind to get but also had the chance to browse the store just incase I need something or saw something. I went in for popsocket because my previous copy alike pop socket broke so I figure I need a new legit brand one. . so I went in to the section where the phone accesories are at. I found the gem stone with purple color which is my birth stone so it was perfect and looks luxurious! the one I picked. there was also baby yoda on sale for 7.99. also a white pearl white for 9.99 and sponge bob for 7.99 and random flower ones for 9.99 . they price matched the purple gem stone which on urban outfitters website says 25 percent off from 20 bucks but instore it is not marked down. so i also see join new member you get 5 bucks off so of course joined the urban outfitters email account. . so from 20 Msrp and 25 percent off it came down to 15 bucks and when join new member 5 bucks off so it was 9.99 plus tax so it came out to 10.83 score for half off ;) . overall the sales assistant was very helpful and price matched. even opened my package for me and I get to use it right away with a big smile on my face. thanks for reading and have a googletastic day! read more

they have Polaroids in all available colors! I came in on Monday to buy the sky blue Polaroid as a gift but they didn't have it in stock. :( so I went ahead & ordered it in the store w/ free shipping! I never got a confirmation order about the sale or even the shipping so that was kind of annoying & nerve wrecking. but I just received it (on Wednesday)! so it was super fast shipping. the camera was $100 before tax & I know they sell it on amazon for about $60-$70 but who knows what I'd end up getting... lol target does sell it for $69.99... so maybe I'll return it... who knows they also sell a ton of accessories for the photos like lights w/ pins & cute little glitter frames. the lights are a little expensive ($20) like I could buy $3 lights & $1 pins at target... there's film for purchase too, when I was there they only had two pack of ten for $30... when you can buy a pack for 50 on Amazon for $38... needless to say, Urban is unnecessarily expensive... but the service was great! read more

I went this last week when we were experiencing a huge heat wave. We escaped the beating sun into one of the hottest, most humid stores! Lucky for us, their air conditioning broke the only positive was there wasn't the direct sun. So, why still 4 stars? Because their staff was boss as f-ck and got me the dress I needed. Sale section was very bleh but I found a dress marked off behind some other dresses in the front. Honestly they could use more product (especially clothing) out on the floor. There was too much of the "merchandise" stuff (like the books and toys) and I wished there were more clothes to look at. Fitting room was beautiful and the clerk was super attentive. This location has really great customer service. It's a big store and I was able to find some things I really liked. Most clothing styles are definitely catered to a younger generation but there are always some hidden gems for those of us that aren't shopping for the trendy stuff. What's even better is the option to purchase out of stock items online and have them shipped to your house for FREE99! (This usually takes 5-7 business days but, either way, you get what you want!) I also suggest downloading the Urban Outfitters app as it rewards you by providing discounts towards future purchases! :) (I recently received a $10 off coupon!) With brands exclusively sold at Urban including; Silence and Noise, BDG, Kimchi, Staring at Stars, etc., to Nike, Adidas, Herschel Supply Co., Vans, Converse, Grumpy Cat, Pusheen, and many more---there is something for everyone here! They have a lot of quirky gifts too like cat shaped coffee mugs, mini terrariums, random wall paintings/art, etc. I always find myself rummaging through their home section to see if I can find anything that catches my eye. This particular Urban is two stories with the girls' section residing on the first floor while the men's, sale items, and fitting rooms are on the second. Everything is usually very neat and workers are pretty friendly and helpful. They just don't have a lot of merchandise compared to their sister store in Arden. The place is always swarming in a sea of hipsters so I can never tell who actually works there and who's just shopping. I rarely come in this store but the times that I have, I've been greeted each time entering and leaving the store. I exchanged a black blazer today, which I ordered online a couple of weeks ago. I called first to see if they had it in stock. There wasn't my size on the floor so the girl checked in the back. Overall, it took about 8 minutes to find my size and put it on hold. It was extremely nice how she didn't just stop looking after checking the floor. Although, I didn't get to pick up the blazer... I did eventually go in and exchange and the girl who helped me did the same thing. She checked the floor and in the back and they had my size! Straight exchange, even though I received a % off online. Made my day :) I know the price of their clothing is pricey, but I can say some of their pieces are just worth it. read more

(And no, I am not a hipster), but I do love to come here and check out their accessories, sales rack, and their collection of fun books, home decor, and other neat miscellaneous stuff The clothes here are pretty nice. You can find a nice pair of skinny jeans or fun hip tops, but be prepared to spend a lot of money for them. Prices here are a little high, but if you're into these particular brands, it probably wont be too bad. I've found my fair share of cute dresses for cheap, you just have to be patient and look. The staff is always approachable but also very chill, which is nice when you want to shop without that stuffy "make a sale" feeling. Fun fact: this specific store used to be a Virgin Records store, so the lay-out is very eclectic. I love this store even when I come out empty-handed! It's not exactly my style but I love the vintage/rustic/earthy feel to their clothes and decor. I usually like to see the out-of-the-box items they have in stock too. You can find the most random things here such as Kim Kardashian's published selfie book to earthy Buddha jewelry. Prices are steep, but I usually love the item so much that I don't care how much I throw down. I have gotten some really great jewelry pieces here! Staff are hip, young and very friendly. Dear Urban Outfitters, I love your vintage/hipster/scenester/trendy clothes. Except I don't love your expensive prices....$50 for a plaid shirt? Let me guess, was it weaved from gold? I also love your random knick knacks. A mini table, jewelry holders, necklaces, tables, dishes, shoes, mirrors (a japanese print mirror, something that looks imported from Nippon), random art, a stereo that looks like it time warped itself from the 80's. But still, I don't love your prices. That 80's stereo must be made of gold too....right? What I love most? The fact that you have started to carry vinyl figures. Blind boxes and Mighty Muggs too! I even found Domo-kun, and Hello Kitty stuff! A great way for a vinyl addict like me to spend money. Way to go Urban! Now for your service, I guess I could say I love. Your workers have been courteous, nice, and helpful the few times I visited. Also, your layout isn't bad. It's quite roomy downstairs since it occupies the previous Virgin Megastore, but I wish you utilized the upstairs! And finally, your sale section: I don't love at all. I used to come to Urban Outfitters all the time when I was in my early twenties. It was the Mecca for all things holy. I have visited it once since then and now (age thirty) and I have to say that Urban Outfitters has become considerably less cool, or I have become considerably older. Unfortunately, I think it's the latter. Urban Outfitters is semi pricey compared to other stores in the same age demographic. So now that I'm finally old enough to afford the clothes, I don't want them. Boo. They do have nice sweaters and cool shirts, but I would say geared for the fifteen to twenty five year old crowd. I do still like some of their home decor items because they're unique and you would be hard pressed to find them anywhere else and they do have really cool duvet covers that I like to look at online. I might come back here again once winter comes around to pick up some nice sweaters. This location only has a small selection of home decor items, so for those things you are better off looking for them online. Accessories too. More importantly, I live near by which makes it easy for me to go in there as often as the employees to snatch up any sale items :D Compared to other UO, I would have to agree that it is small, but not bought out. So quit this crying and complaining, they have a website. I remember when I used to go to UO in 2005 and it hasn't changed at all since then, still expensive but worth it. The clothes will in fact last forever, so be careful what you buy unless you got cash to burn. Yes Hattie B. it is expensive, but you must understand that it is also a chain store, like Express or Forever 21. Quality over Quantity is what I say. Being a 5'11" female makes shopping cheap incredibly difficult since clothes are made for all you ladies under 5'5", so paying an extra 15$ for a shirt that fits my bust and my height is worth it completely. I bought a purse from UO in 2005 and it's still stylish and I get compliments every time I wear it, real leather. Girls cry when they find out that I bought it a long time ago, lol. Staff was friendly and far more stylish than anybody I've seen since moving up here, I wish I knew where these people culminated not just where they work. :( PS- If you're creative you can find an outfit just as stylish at the goodwill for 1/4 the price. read more

Oh Sacramento! No wonder I have to drive to the bay for good clothing, because the likes of you think Urban Outfitters is expensive. No store that charges more than $17 for a shirt makes it in this town. First of all, if you think paying $59 for a blouse from a chain store is ridiculous head straight back to the sale rack, chances are it was only on the floor at full price less than 2 weeks. You will find it there. This store is the cleanest Urban I've set foot in, the staff is amazingly friendly, almost embarrassingly so really. Yes the selection is streamlined but if you see something online they don't have on the floor they will order it for you, also they honor sale prices from the web, even if the markdowns haven't hit the store. Quit your griping, cheapskates, and go shop at Forever 21 or better yet Goodwill if you are so behooved to drop a few greenbacks at this store. Leaves more of a selection for me! read more

I don't come here to shop for clothes. Only accessories and their random gifts. For one, their clothes are ridiculously expensive. A lot of the things they sell I can honestly find cheaper elsewhere. Even their plain t-shirts and tank tops are expensive! I've never had any problems with the workers, but I do notice that they don't really ask you if you need any help. They tend to just be doing the same thing every time I'm in there - folding clothes. I'm sure they just do that repeatedly even though nothing REALLY needs to be folded. I also don't really like the people that shop here. Most of them are scene kids or girls who are trying to be trendy. I used to shop here for their graphic tees but then I stopped once they started charging $30 a shirt. Ridiculous! read more

From every Urban I've visited from SF to LA, this UO was one of the better ones! Despite being next to the mall, there isn't a lot of traffic going in this store (or maybe I come in at really late times) so I always have fun taking my time and not waiting for someone to look at the sales racks or the fitting rooms. If you aren't greeted at the front, you will be greeted at some point during your shop within seconds. I came in looking for vintage Levi's high waisted shorts because that's the trend and even though it's winter, it's SAC. There are always going to be hot days. They had some 50% off sale items. Fished through the sale racks, eyeballed the new styles, and finally found my high waisted shorts!!! There were 3-4 piles of these cute shorts. I tried on at least 10 pairs before I was able to find the right one. I asked the dressing room associate for any advice on thrift stores around Sac. She was really nice about it and gave me several suggestions. Everything was organized and clean than the usual UO's. So spacioussssss too! I had a pleasant purchase with the cashier who told me that I can now get my receipt through email instead of paper receipt (sounds like an Apple replica). You know the prices are spectacular. However when there's 50% off additional on the sale, I always manage to find some greeaaat deals! Some of my favorite dresses in my wardrobe I got from UO for $10-15. If the deal isn't going on, I can occupy my time checking out the weird gadgets they have. ALSOOO their return policy is 60 days which is awesomeee HOLD UP i remember one time I wore a black dress with sheer tights and some tan booties I just got from UO. Guess what? In one use the zippers on both shoes broke on the first day wearing them and the broken zipper snagged my tights every time I had to bend down. For some reason tights are only a one-time use for me. I manage to snag them every single time I wear them! I was upset that the shoes broke read more
