This place is borderline dystopian. The shelves are empty but the aisles are full of crap. There are carts and boxes scattered everywhere. If you're looking for something specific, be prepared to ask, and ask again, and ask again. And wait, forever. Went to return a cover to my Apple Watch because it was the wrong one the associate gave me. I mIsplaced the receipt. I was told they couldn't even give me a store credit because it was electronics. How is a watch cover electronic? I asked for the manager and was told there wasn't a manager on duty. Most likely a lie. This Starbucks is terrible. Waited 30 minutes for a drink for my daughter and it was made wrong. The employees were rude & unapologetic. When I asked for a straw they told me someone went to the back to get them & I waited another 10 minutes before asking a different employee and she pulled a pack of straws out from behind the counter. This is the worst representation of what I think a Target store is. I have only been to it a couple of times. I'm new to the area and unfortunately this is the closest Target store to me. With exception to this store, shopping at Target was a serene, clear, organized, entertaining, and almost relaxing experience. This particular store gives a bad name to the organization. As soon as you walk in you see the bathroom entrance and water fountains, where a spill of popcorn seem to have been left there for the birds. The bathrooms were disgusting to say the least. We've been shopping here since this Target was built and though it was very convenient at first, the awfully designed parking lot, constant solicitation outside the door, and now the fact that half the products are locked behind glass mean that I'll take any excuse to shop at a different Target, and you should too. Five star rating, mostly for the wonderful, hard-working staffers here. I can't thank them enough for their work during this awful pandemic! Somehow they manage to remain cheerful despite everything and the risks they take every day. Esp. kudos to Renee, the wonderful, cheerful soul who goes above and beyond to assist in the self-checkout lane. She is a real TREASURE! Target CEOs: Your staffers DESERVE big, fat RAISES for their devotion! One suggestion: I have noticed a few checkers either not wearing masks or wearing them incorrectly (below the chin, nose, etc.). Please advise ALL staffers (even those vaccinated) to continue wearing masks for the time being, esp. as this new Covid variant rapidly spreads in CA and now so many customers have dropped them. Target was closed despite saying it was open online and in their own app. Not to mention over the past couple of years this Target is consistently out of stock in a wide variety of products. They are also terrible at updating item locations within their app. The new guest/service order pick up combined process is the worst business decision ever made. The whole point of order pickup is to not wait in lines yet you now make me wait in the slowest line Target has. The cosmetic section redesign is also a terrible decision as it is incredibly hard to find what you are looking for. Go to Ulta next door for consmetics, you will have a much better experience and a wider selection of products to choose from. In general, I really like this location. However, for the past few weeks they have been having problems with their card readers at the check-out lines. Today it wouldn't read my red card and the guy cashier didn't seem all that interested in helping me resolve it. I ended up using my bank debit card, which made me lose out on my 5% discount. If they don't resolve these issues, I'm going to shop elsewhere. I'm going to have to take a star back. Bought a package of turkey lunchmeat yesterday and when I took it out I noticed the best buy date was 2 weeks ago. Guess I'll keep buying my groceries at a grocery store. read more

Story is pretty much always messy and out of stocks are insane. There were strays all over the place and some areas are so destroyed, that you can't get the right price. Which is exactly why people grab items, check the price at a price scanner and then leave them there. Buyers BEWARE, this Target has been charging you bag fees even when bags were declined. I confronted them this time and their response was this: "You need to decline the bag upfront... The reason is that we are trying to speed up the pick-up process." That is new because all other Targets I'd been to asked me if I wanted the bag before handing over the item. By far the absolute worse Target store I have ever visited. Walked in the store and I needed to go to the restroom and man, there was popcorn spilled all over the carpet right in front of the water fountains. Walked into the bathroom and man, it was a wreck. Paper towels all over the floor, dirty, smelly, like a baseball park restroom. As soon as you walk in the store is all dirty and the items that are supposed to be immediately when you enter the store are basically empty. Most of the isles at the grocery section are messy and disorganized. The store is a mess. I even asked three different staff members for an item, and unfortunately they all sent me on a scavenger hunt around the store, and there was no item to be found. This is the least a store associate should be required to do; assist a customer with getting an item. You'd think they'd be properly staffed and have plenty food between the hours of 11:30-2. BUT NO! This is the closest Target to where I live so I go here often, however, I think there is a lot of room for improvement. I came in a weeknight at around 6 pm and they were almost totally out of stock on all food items! I came for a few food items and left with nothing. They also had many boxes out like they were being stocked and they were all in the way of the aisles. I could understand had it been very late in the evening near closing, however at 6 pm I expected to see a good stock and not boxes in every aisle. Seems disorganized and the parking lot is always pretty much a mess. I think it's a great location and the store is very large, I just wished everything was kept in stock. This particular Target is very well organized. All staff especially the store greeter are outstanding. I enjoy the African American female door greeter. The lady makes the store feel homely and very welcomed.At first I did find the woman annoying. The greeter grows on you and makes this particular Target uniquely special.Why not five stars? Here are my reasons: 1.) The in store order policy needs to be changed to same day returns epecially when an item does not fit and/or doubled order on their store APP. 2.) More Target staff associates and CVS Pharmacy associates need to be placed on the floor to assist customers in a timely matter. 3.) The parking lot traffic. *Notice majority of Target's have an issue with parking in the Sacramento area. Otherwise the Target in Natomas is an excellent Target. My other go to include Target locations in the Sacramento area include Target at 65th, Target Riverside, and Target Fulton. read more

This Target is one of the worst I've ever been to. I've lived in this area for three years now and it has not improved. They are out of things for months, food is always past its expiration date, never have enough cashiers, always have to be hassled by some frauds selling candy bars for $10 outside, and the management could give a crap. I love Target, my only problem with this one was that the shelves were never really fully stocked. Maybe I never went at the right time? Or maybe because they started doing construction? Whatever it may be, it made it a little frustrating at times especially when the employees aren't very helpful either, hence the one star off. But just like all the other Target you can find just about everything you need here. From photo developing center to a pharmacy, Target is your one-top shop. Return department is a joke. I come here at least once a week never needing help but I decided to get these cute stools for my house and needed to exchange one of them for another because the product was defective. The lady at the returns area radioed someone to bring one over and in less than a minute, she gets a radio message back saying there are no more in stock. I went over there myself and found the stool in plain sight that the person was too lazy to look for. What are you even doing working at target?! Your job is customer service and if you don't like it work somewhere else! Anyway, no compensation from the manager, just a simple "oh I'll find out who it is and talk to them" which I know she won't do, as they're all probably friends. The "manager"looked really young too. This target has very bad custom service. I asked for help because I forgot a ring that I wore that was worth SO MUCH MONEY!!! I think I dropped it near the self checkout or I don't know because I remember wearing the earring while waiting in line for self checkout. Okay, so I tried looking for it and that is when I asked for help right? so I asked this employee and when I tell you HE WAS RUDEE, he was giving me an attitude and tried to ignored me when I was trying to tell this guy that I lost this one missing earring. Then I went to this like customer service area I don't really know but I asked and she was also giving me an attitude I was super confused why was she giving bad stares and this mad angry tone whiling talking to me. she looked in the lost and found but the earring wasn't there. THEN FINALLY I asked the guy near the self checking and I THOUGHT this guy could help me and I swore the earring could be here because I paid my items in the self checkout BUT NO THIS GUY WAS TRYING TO IGNORE ME I KEPT ASKING POLITELY AND HE IGNORED ME BY PRETENDING TO HELP OTHER CUSTOMERS THAT DIDNT EVEN NEED HELP LIKE HOW!? I'm new to this area so I'm still trying to gage just how busy this area is. After 3 months of visiting this location, I'm disappointed on a continual basis. This Target is ALWAYS out-of-stock of at least half my shopping list. The consistency of things being out of stock is actually quite amazing and impressive! If stock is this much of a problem, maybe store management should talk with home office to up the shipments. That being said, it is the closest Target to me and well... it's Target. ** Watch Youtube Video Of This Below ** I went to target tonight (Christmas Eve) 15 minutes before closing and they wouldn't let me in. The security guards taunted me and laughed and said to go home. They were being so rude a few minutes later I decided to record my experience. They told me corporate told them to close early. Customers came out and said they wouldn't let people in past 9:30pm. The hours are listed on their door at 10:00pm and their phone says they are open. I recorded my experience and as I left not on camera the female security guard said "Is that all you got?" from behind the closed door taunting me and laughing. The male security guard laughed and said "You ruined it for yourself" which was on film. I rush to the store based on their recorded phone message saying they close at 10:00pm. Their hours are clearly written on their door that they close at 10:00pm. How exactly did I ruin it for myself? Is it a race thing? Was it a sex thing? Did I need to beg to come into their store during regular hours? I knew exactly what I wanted to buy and rushed there and now my son will not get his Christmas Gifts. The credit card breach maybe was out of their control, but this is unforgivable and apparently the orders came directly from corporate which is even more surprising to me. This must not be the first time they did this because neither security guard was afraid of my threats to complain or post this online or of them losing their jobs because of the way they were treating me. This must be standard Target customer service and practice. I am really surprised Target would treat their customers this way just days after the credit card breach problem that myself and so many others were effected by. Hi there. Went in to pick up a movie. The website and app said it was in stock on the aisle. But didn't see it. So I asked a guy in the electronics department where it was. He looked it up on his device. And said "we have three but they don't have a location" so I said "what does that mean?". He proceed to tell me that they are floating around in the back and can't be found till they are located....? What!? What does that even me? So I asked "There is no way for you to go in the back and look for them?". He said since they can't be found he wasn't going to look fo them. Terrible this guy is terrible. So I went to guest services and explained to Kasandra (SHE GETS 5 STARS) what's had happened. She agreed that what he said made no sense. So she got on her walkie talkie and contacted him. He preceded to say I already explained to him that I they can't be located. So she asked "Can we help the guest find the item?" To which he there is no point because it can't be found. Kasandra let me know where it could be. She is awesome and gets FIVE HUNDRED STARS. The guy from Electronics gets no stars. Biggest regret I didn't get the guys name so I could put it in this review. I really like this Target in the Sacramento area. It's bigger then the average store so I always feel like they have a better selection. The grocery section is also bigger then average if you like getting your groceries at Target. Also the sale section here is really dangerous! Don't hit up the sale caps unless you want to spend twice as much money as you should. Only downside is the parking lot here is always insane! Just park far away and walk in to save time. read more

Target is my favorite store! It has pretty much everything I need. This Location has a Starbucks inside. I usually grab a coffee before I begin shopping. If my kids are with me. I go to the cafe and get a popcorn and couple of Icee's. The employees are very friendly and helpful. The store is always well kept. read more

I love target, it is always my go-to! However this location has been terrible lately, I've ordered drive up and revived food items that were expired, I've always gone shopping inna rush and grabbed items that were expired. And by expired I mean weeks, not just a couple days. Someone that works a lot like me (hospital life) doesn't have the time to keep going back to return things and wait in line. Ask anyone and they'll know I'm a Target enthusiast. I love visiting Target, even if I don't have anything to get. Somehow, it's like Costco where I walk in without the intention of buying anything to walking out with over $100 in products. I don't know how they do it! I'm always checking Cartwheel to see if there are any additional discounts and I'm on their website all the time. I want to say I really do love Target. With that said, my experience today will not diminish my love for them, but I will say it's another one of those experiences where I'm left quite disappointed and am unsure about whether I'll be returning to this particular Target. When I first walked in, a lady at Guest Services assisted with my return. She asked if I had opened my product and I told her no. She tried to open it but it was clearly difficult to open without breaking the packaging. She said a lot of people often tell her they didn't open it when they in fact do. I told her I truly did not open it. Yet, my word was not reassuring enough as she continuously tried to open the packaging. She completed my return and I said "Thank you, have a good day" and did not get a response back. Oh well. Then I pull out my app to look for an item I needed. I love how they tell you exactly which aisle the item is in. But when I got there, I couldn't find the item for the life of me. I must have walked up and down that aisle, slowly but surely, scanning every single item on the racks and couldn't find it. What the heck? I flag down an associate and show her the item I'm looking for on my phone. Bad idea. She stomps over and points to it. Apparently, it was in the last row and about 1/3 of the size I thought it would be. And obviously, my multiple scanning of the aisle didn't help whatsoever. The associate looked at me annoyed, pointed at it, didn't say a word, and stomped away as I thanked her. Okay... So I use my handy app to scan the item's barcode and on the Target website, it was advertised for $5.99 whereas the item was labeled $8.99. I went to the barcode scanner and it also said $8.99. I proceeded to Guest Services to ask for a price match. It was the same associate who helped me earlier. I politely asked if she could possibly do a price match because the store price didn't match the online price. Annoyed, she said "Okay...did you already pay for this?" I told her no. She grabbed the item from my hands, didn't say anything, and asked if I wanted to check out the remainder of my items. I said yes please. She scans all my stuff, still annoyed for some unknown reason, and asks if I'm going to use the empty bag I'm holding. I said yes and placed it on the counter. She doesn't touch it. All in the meantime, her attitude has been terrible with me. Someone approached from behind and she smiled and said "Awww." I didn't turn around because I was trying to pack my stuff as fast as I can. After she smiles at the person behind me, she continues glaring and looking bored as she's waiting for me to finish putting all my stuff in my bag. I smile, thank the associate and wish her a wonderful day. Once again, she doesn't acknowledge me, says "Next!" and indicates for me to leave. Not the greatest customer service from either associates. What made it worse was a woman and her young daughter started following me towards my car as I exited Target. Unfortunately there was no security guard there, which is unusual because most Targets I've been to typically have one. They followed me to my car and asked for a dollar. I declined. They stood right there by the passenger side and I was afraid of unlocking the car because they stood right there and both stared me down. Now if this were at night and not at 3pm, I would have been more scared. The mother saw another woman and continued panhandling. This is considered one of the few Targets that have made me feel like such a nuisance for asking questions. I guess I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

Great store but please fix the price scanners. We went to at least 2 of them that were not operational today. One was blank and the other one said something about being out of service. It would have been nice if they were all functioning. But we still really enjoy Target very much and are glad there is one so close to us! The cashiers here are very quick and we have had good experiences and a smooth and quick check out each time I have gone. read more
