One of the nicer Target's I've been to might be because it's one of the newer ones I've been to. Just like your average Target, but nice, friendly, and clean. Target is also starting to carry high-end fashion at mid-range department store prices. An affordable upscale chain department retail store. You can find almost anything here from Altoids to water thats bottled. I love their clearance stuff on the endcaps of the aisle shelves when they roll out new designs for home, electronics, automotive, and even clothing. Great deals can be had and you can expect to find everything consistent in any Target from the store layout to the age range of the cashiers. This Target has the worst selection of EVERYTHING. Even the Value section leaves much to be desired. The parking lot is insane and too small for the amount of people shopping here. Good luck parking anything larger than a Prius. They have the smallest baby section I think I've ever seen in a Target...if you're looking for baby boy clothes, you'll find exactly 5 choices in only preemie size. I am disappointed with this location. It's always a mess and it is difficult to find anything on the shelves without digging around and trying to match up barcodes with price tags. Or, you can choose to find a price checker device but then you're doing far more work than you should have to. read more

Great store until you try to return some things. Brought a steam vac at the store on 65th about a month ago. I asked what the return policy was just in case I didn't like it and was told 90 days with receipt. Great! I got it home and used it twice and didn't like it so i packed it up and a left it by the door to return. Fast forward a month later and life slowed down and go to return it today. Guess what i'm told? Since I used it they would not be able to return it. Huh? Did i miss something on the return policy? The very snobby lady told me I would need to return to the store on 65th and take it up with them. Wow! Drove all the way to the other Target and tell the lady at the other target store. She laughs and shows me the return by date and says, "you're under 90 days, that's all you need unless it specifies next to the item on the receipt. The store on Alta Arden and in Natomas are ran by mean people so just come to us and we'll take care of you." Great customer service by the store on 65th, but i shouldn't have to drive all the way out there to return something when there's a target right down the street from our house. read more

So, I came to this target a couple of times and noticed some target employees just chatting and when i asked for help this one girl ignored me, i believe her name was ashley. She was so rude to me and it is unexceptable for employees to treat their guests so rudely! Then another time i stopped by i saw people leave the store with stolen merchandise and the security man, Aj , did nothing. Smelly Store(s) :( I have shopped at Target for years and appreciate the low prices and selection of products. Recently, though, I have noticed that the store just reeks. It has an overpowering chemical smell which assaults you at the door and lingers throughout the store. The smell is so strong that it's detectable on the products I buy long after I bring them home. The odor, according to one of the store managers, is attributable to carpet cleaning solution which is used in all of the Target stores. She claimed that the solution is "environmentally friendly." This may be true, but the smell is still really obnoxious. I'm not inclined to want to shop there anymore. read more

I have always liked shopping at Target because it is clean and usually has some pretty cool stuff. It's just a bummer when I go in and look for an hour and leave with nothing. It seems to be a usual problem in their grocery section that the shelves are always empty. I'm not sure if they fill it and it sells THAT fast, but they are losing a lot of sales by letting it sit cold and empty for most of the day. The only food aisle that looked maintained was the chip aisle, and that's because a vendor comes in to do that daily. I'll still drop by to check out the seasonal stuff, but maybe the grocery order writer needs to up the orders a lot or get rid of the cold food section completely and save on the refrigeration bill for empty coolers. read more

3 Stars is a tough one for me but i shall explain. I was Leaving Best Buy this morning and realized that the usual stock of everyday shit was running low (or already out)in my pad. Lucky for me Target was there and there was a ton of available parking....sooooooo....why not? I grab my cart and start navigating to the electronics (i know, not what I came for) after picking up a couple of CD's , i cruised over to the grocery side which has almost everything you can need for your grubbing needs (not to mention at a pretty good price compared to Bel Air or Safeway). I loaded up on shit for lunches at work and headed to the checkout. Now normally my very first complaint about the checkout scene is that these stupid corporate monsters build these stores with 50 fucking registers but when you get in line there is only 4 being operated. Not today my friends at least 8 or 9 were rolling and I had no wait. After a quick little banter with a very cute manager who was on the register for some reason, I got my total $124.93 (WTF!) ......I always spend more than planned here that's why the 3 stars rather than 4.....Fuck You Target. ABSOLUTELY MOST DISGUSTING BATHROOM EVER. I've been in portapotties at busy events cleaner than these. The floor was black from dirt. Toilet paper everywhere. Poop on toilet seats. Poop clogging toilets. Used pregnancy tests on the floor. Notified customer service. Waited awhile. No one went in to clean immediately even when I stated how bad it was. Don't use these toilets unless you want to catch something. I won't be coming back to this target since they obviously don't care about a clean place for patrons. Extremely disturbing. read more

Umm...never thought that i would be writing a review about target, much less their pharmacy (am I a senior citizen on yelp?) but this one is great. Their pharmacist spent about 15 minutes just working with the insurance company to get my wife a prescription that was initially denied. They were able to adjust things so that we only ended up paying a $5 copay, down from some absurd amount that we would have had to pay out of pocket. Well worth the wait. I am realizing as I post this that no one on yelp is searching for a sweet pharmacy to check out but if you are, you should go to this one. read more

I just started working in the area, So I went there at lunch looking for bumbbell handles, They did not have great selection. I did not find what i was looking for but, I did like cleanliness, and freindly and attractive staff. I did enjoy pizza hut and Starbucks. Store is fairly clean, aside from the bathrooms (they are horrible). The staff at least will ask if you need assistance when you look lost. We don't particularly care for their produce section. Fruits and vegetables don't appear to be very fresh. Dried foods are bargains. Parking is adequate. Easy location to find right off of the freeway. Don't go out of your way to come here although it's a far better choice than Walmart. read more

I went to Target for a snack and ended up get some sliced packaged watermelon well I get home and guess what it was disgusting it tasted so bad I spit it out then I the smell of the fruit was horrible I couldn't believe it! I had to return a package of diapers because they did not fit my baby. I used three before I returned them. I did not have my receipt because I didn't think I would need to return diapers so I didn't keep the receipt. My husband purchased them so I didn't have the card used to purchase them. He was out in the car with our sleeping children. I was called to the register by Nancy. I said hi and she didn't say anything. I said I needed to return the diapers because they didn't fit. She said "do you have a receipt?" I said no I don't. She instantly got annoyed and said "okaaaaay. Do you have you card you purchased it on?" I said, "no sorry it was purchased on my husbands debit card." She lets out a huge sigh and said "ok well I guess I'll try you id." Her tone was super rude like she thought I was trying to pull a fast one on her. I told her I just needed to exchange them for a larger size I wasn't wanting my money back on them so if it works best I'll just do store credit and she very rudely said "oh you're only getting store credit. I just need to see if this will even work." I handed her my id, pretty shocked at this point at her constantly sighing and rude tone. She starts typing and I have no idea if it's "working" because she isn't saying anything but grabs a store credit card so I assume it worked. She types a little more, prints out a receipt and passes it to me and says "here." I said "thank you" and she didn't say a single thing back. Just walked away. I never complain but this customer service with her rude tone, sighing and rude body language deserves a poor review. Nancy needs to chill out and lose the attitude. I won some gift cards at work for Target. I went to the West Sacramento location to purchase a new cellular phone for my spouse. The posted hours said open until 8, but apparently the guy likes to leave early and saves his lunch break until the end of the day. No big deal, I planned to go back the next day. Decided to check out North Natomas and I'm glad I did. When I got there, Bobby Tran had a line of people waiting for him. He seemed to know the people that were there, indicating that they were repeat customers. He seemed to easily build rapport with the customers. I appreciated how he took the time to acknowledge everyone in line and to let them know it would be a few minutes of wait time. He worked quickly and efficiently, but also didn't rush anybody ahead of us out of the store. He took care of each person and made them feel like their time was valued. When it was my turn, he didn't waste my time trying to sell me a different phone than I came in for, or explaining features and plans I didn't want. He determined my needs and gave me relevant options. The way he presented information built trust and confidence that he had my best interests in mind. I have about 3 yelp reviews under my belt, because I work in customer service and have pretty high standards. Bobby met my standards, and I'd refer him to all of my friends. I have a high opinion of Target anyway, and have never had a problem with any of them. Usually the service meets my needs and is pleasant. This experience really knocked my socks off. I only purchased the phone from Target because I had these gift cards, but after this experience, I'd definitely buy my next phone from Target - specifically Bobby if he's still around. read more

This rating is for Kasandra in Customer Service counter. I made over $200 purchase, wanted to use redcard to take advantage of 5% off, forgot to bring my redcard n employee in regular line didn't know how to pull up my card on target app I already had installed on my phone. I didnt want to make a big fuss since long line so paid using my debit card. I went to customer service and kasandra was very helpful, patient and wonderful. She was able to credit my debit card and pull us my redcard fr target app so I could get of 5% off. In addition, she recognized the initial employee chargedme for gifts cards but there were no amounts on them, didn't take off detectors off alcohol bottles, others. Thanks Kas! read more

I came in for hats as we forgot ours in California. The two particular hats we wanted they had only on of and they had tell tale stains on them. Most of the hats did. Also bought hair dye. Everybody loves Target, and with good reason. However, I will start off with something that I do not like about this Target. For months, they got me all excited about their expansion, adding produce and such. It sounded like it was gonna be a full-on grocery store! Why would I ever have to shop anywhere else?! Turns out it's more like half an aisle of produce, half of dairy. I was very much underwhelmed with the new addition. That being said, everything else is awesome. I switched a prescription to their pharmacy from Rite Aid, and found that I saved something like $17. That's nice. Like everything in Natomas, you have to trek through a ridiculous maze of shopping centers to get there. But if you can find it, you'll never need to go anywhere else. read more
