The self check out was no longer available, and with only two people working the floor, it was lines and lines for days. So frustrating using their mobile pickup. Said orders would be ready by 2 hrs or less. Got there think orders would be done by two hrs but had to wait in the parking lot nearby for over an hr before flagging a staff down. Who said the orders were not processed yet. Kinda suck having to waste my evening waiting in the parking lot when I should've / could've gone in. But if I wanted to go in, I wouldn't have done a mobile order. Wow! Poor management who doesn't oversee well. Cant blame the young workers whose bringing them out over what they can't control. Well actually, one of the workers was just sitting there when he could've gone in or check to see why it wasn't processed. A new equals new stuff and new displays. This is the only store that has stuff up Celebrating Black History Month so far in the Sacramento area and I have been to 5. It is good to see that Target is on point with stuff. That is probably why I like to go! Not only is the stuff nice it is fashionable as well. The books have meaning and the clothes have a good message as well. You won't see this type of stuff in Walmart. There is lots of clearance as well which means it is time to save money!! read more

COVID Review: This Target is doing the most to make sure customers and employees are safe during these crazy Covid times. Thank you, Target!! Currently, there is a line to get into Target if there are too many shoppers at once. Also, they have the following safety protocols: 1. The carts are all sanitized before you get one. 2. The bags are free as they discourage you from bringing your disposable bags. 3. You will be given permission to put your stuff on the conveyor belt to pay. This is so that they wipe down the station each time. They even wipe down self check out after every use! 4. There is clear plastic walls at the checkout for extra safety precautions. I feel pretty safe going to Target. I'm only hesitant for the other customers who refuse to wear face masks at this time. I just try and steer clear from them. read more

I would give 3-4 stars. Never really had issues. Bit came back from a trip to see basically half the store locked up. So deodorant, tooth paste (?), detergent, medicine, vitamins, etc you now have to find a worker to get out. The worker then gives the item to you anyway, so not sure how this helps theft anymore than it is just a pain in everyone's ass, customer and worker alike. Whichever management had the great idea to make target shoppers have a bad experience browsing is disconnected. I'll either shop somewhere else for those items, or somewhere else entirely. read more

The Natomas Target is actually one of the cleaner, more accessible and better maintained of the locations in the Sac area. It's a Target, so there isn't that much to get excited about, but it's nice to know there is a place nearby where you can get most of your goodies in one spot. We were shopping in the area and stopped in for a couple odds and ends. Of course (and this is by design), we ended up walking out with far more than we came in for. What can I say, the cheapie dollar items they strategically place by the entrance are always too good a deal to pass up. I've been in here a couple times now and my biggest complaint is an inconsistency of stock. This is keeping in mind that stocking issues have been exacerbated by the pandemic, of course. Even before COVID, I would usually find about 80% of what I was looking for. If they can nail that down, like having pickle relish when I need it, I'll be a happy camper and repeat customer. read more

I love target BUT today and usually every time I come do a Cat & Jack return there's this employee. Her name is Destinee. always bitter. she doesn't greet anyone, doesn't smile, has an attitude and just rude asf. she always gives me a problem and from what I read putting this experience on social media a lot of people would agree - she should find a new field. customer service isn't her thing. then you have Monisa (Mo-Niece-Uh) she's also rude. She's a manager. today them both gave me a hard time doing a return. Instead of explaining their new policy, unknowingly not knowing when this policy came into effect "a few months ago I think" when I was just in there 2 months ago and again Destinee providing horrible customer service as usual but still proceeding to help and do my return ... Thanks to Candice for educating me on a "new policy" for the specific return i was trying to do and corporate representative Brim. They were able to assist me and do my cat & Jack return. big shout to Candice, who's a manager... being patient and actually knowing when this took affect and why... knowing what she was talking about, this is why people still shop at target.. employees like Candice deserve recognition, she could of been rude and uncaring just like the other two employees but she wasn't. I love how they now lock everything up but then the sensors to call staff don't work.. then once you finally flag an employee down they have to call a person who has the key for the specific cabinet. I'm here and have been waiting 10 mins to buy toothpaste... guess it's time to switch to Amazon for this stuff. Their self checkout always is broken. I was all set to give this Target a 2, but then I had a very pleasant cashier as I was leaving and I realized that the horrible state of their grocery section was not reflective of the entire store. I moved to the area about a year ago, and have been very disappointed in the grocery section of this Target compared to what I am used to. The staff has been friendly (although they definitely seem understaffed at times), and the rest of the store (apart from grocery) seems to be managed fairly well. Their grocery section is so poor though! I mean, it is really quite consistently bad. Where I used to live, Target was my go to location for grocery shopping. I had hoped to continue that here, but unfortunately the food is always extremely understocked...to the point where people probably think they are trying to close up shop! I had this discussion with someone else who was also new to the area, and when I was in the store this week, staring at the empty shelves (early evening on Monday in this case) and I overheard a woman telling her husband, "They're always out of everything." There's really no excuse for this to be such a consistent problem. This was the last chance I was going to give them for grocery, so now I'll just pay a bit more to shop somewhere else because at least things will be in stock!! read more

Target is our favorite non-grocery store. Located in Natomas near I-80 and Truxel junction, we have been frequenting this establishment ever since we moved to Sacramento. Target is a one stop shop for all your needs from clothes, toys, medicine, electronics, groceries, bikes etc etc. Won't bore you guys much as we all know what Target sells. Today I will be sharing my first experience of using their Store Pick up service. I try to spread my $$ equally amongst various retailers and want non-Amazon companies to not only survive but succeed in the long term. Hence I shop online at Target.com through their app sometimes if I need something that's not super urgent. One of the perks of being a Target Red Card member is that you not only evergreen 5% discount but also 2-day free shipping like Amazon and you don't even have to pay the Prime Annual fee. Few days ago our Tide pod inventory was getting low so I thought of being proactive and ordering through Target online. On their app I saw an offer to get $15 Target gift-card if you spend $50 bucks or more on household cleaning/laundry items but the catch was to use Store Pick up service. With little kids our washing machine runs non-stop, so I ordered some Tide pods, Tazo Skinny Chai, Paper Towels etc. and once I placed the order, within 10 minutes I revived an alert/email that my order is ready to be picked up. Sweeeeet. Now all I had to do was to go to Target, show my ID or the barcode on the phone to pick up my goodies from the guest services. No more going to the aisle to pick up stuff, no need to worry if the item will be on stock or not plus the best part was that there is no need to stand in the check-out-line. You have about 7 days to pick up your order and you can also request/ask for an extension. I picked up the order next day. Took me more time to park the car then to get my order. 5 stars for that super service. And yes, plus got $15 Target gift card. If you have the habit of just going to Amazon app and ordering stuff, I would recommend using Target app, compare the prices and you will be surprised how competitive Target is and in many cases the prices here are better than other retailers. read more

I love Target! This location, however, is the worst! We have used their curbside service during the pandemic and repeatedly have had orders messed up. Items missing, damaged, or expired. This last order, half of the order was missing. In addition, they never have anything. I lost count the number of times an item was listed on the app as in stock only to receive a follow up email stating the item was cancelled from the order because it was not in stock. Didn't this store just have a pretty major remodel? I heard they were installing additional refrigerators. So why do they never have things in stock? My boyfriend just recently moved in the area, so this has become our new neighborhood Target. For the most part we have good experiences with finding the products we come for but not so much today. There were several "electronic" items we were looking for, but their stock was really poor. I needed a new pop socket and had 4 options, none of which I really cared for. Bummer. My boyfriend was looking for a new Apple Watch band and we saw a small collection at the end of one of the aisles. Most of them rubber and in different colors. We were looking for metal bands, so he walked away without one. Another bummer. Heading into the market area, a lot of items weren't stock or aisles were just really disorganized. We were in the chip aisle and it was really bare. Considering it was Sunday, you'd think it would be stocked after the busy rush they probably had on Saturday. So, we decided to grocery shop else where. Bummer for them. The most annoying part of our visit today was when we were in the "beauty" department. There were 2 female workers blocking the shampoo aisle with their carts of reshop, just standing there talking. I needed to get in the shampoo aisle, lucky me. Lol, I looked at the girls and then in the aisle and they continued their conversation. Very inconsiderate. My boyfriend and I use to both work for Target and our STL, as well as our ETL, would have never let us get away with standing around chatting and empty shelves. So someone gave this store a 4-star review saying that they are doing the most to make customers and employees safe; however, I was just in there and I had a negative interaction with three people on Target's team. There were people behind me in line that weren't social distancing, so I asked them nicely to take a couple steps back. They didn't. So I tried again. Again, they didn't back up. So I asked again. I asked a number of times before Target team member (maybe even a front lead?) named Kira came by and totally took their side and dismissed my complaint. I put my stuff in my car and then I decided that I wanted to discuss this matter with Kira, person-to-person, to see if we could resolve the issue. The Security Guard was with her, and told her that she could go. I asked him why he didn't allow us to hash out the issue, and he accused me of yelling. I'll admit that I was agitated with what happened earlier, but I was in no way yelling. Then the Security Guard made up some story about the way I tried to resolve my issue that was completely untrue. And he called manager Jim. Jim was also unhelpful and told me that I was completely responsible for the interaction. I asked him if he wanted people to be breaking social distancing, not wearing masks, and not following COVID-19 guidelines. And he told me that customers basically have the right to do whatever they want inside the store. Even if it makes other customer's uncomfortable, but when I was trying to address the issue about not social distancing-- Kira stepped in. Basically, I think this store needs to be restructured as Kira, Security Guard guy, and Jim are all pretty unhelpful, unscrupulous, don't know how to address customers, conduct themselves with disrespect, and do not care about whether people get COVID-19 or not (why else would I be made to be the bad guy when asking people to back up?). So in short, they are not trying to keep people healthy. read more

I love Target! It offers almost everything from clothes, camping gear, housewares, and even groceries. This location is always well stocked with the day to day, as well as, the advertised sale items. Their shopping carts are the larger/deeper ones, and they are CLEAN! Just like the store. Well maintained and pretty close to spotless. The women's clothing department has sizes from 1 to plus sizes. They have really upped the anti with better designer clothes, better designs, and competitive prices. Don't forget to always check out the clearance section...TONS of great bargains. The men's clothing section is just as wonderful. They offer the same variety in sizes from mens XS to triple X. Stylish jeans, slacks, t-shirts, and some pretty cool workout gear. Check out the kids clothing departments too! The baby section has the sweetest outfits, baby gear, lotions, potions, and the cutest cribs! For the bigger rug rats, the bigger kids' clothing department, has everything from fancy dresses/suits, to jeans, trendy t-shirts, fun bed clothing, and even those cute socks that everyone wants! The audio department has the latest in TV's, cameras, video games/consoles, books and much more. Often the video games are cheaper here! My favorite section is the ever changing holiday section! Depending on the time of year, you'll find scary halloween costumes ( i have the coolest witches hat), easter bunny eggs (yummy peanut butter/chocolate eggs) and candy, to some uber cool back to school gear and " must haves" You can pretty much buy it all at Target. Even wine and dinner. One stop shopping! who doesnt want THAT?! Bought a Ring doorbell for parents birthdays in May this year. By the time we tried to install it was 3 weeks later and I had purchased a ring that would not fit the application. Tried to return the Ring doorbell to target and they (spoke to store manager) would absolutely NOT take it back due to it was beyond the 2 week return policy for electronics. I had to go to Best Buy and to purchase a different Ring and purchase the installation at Best Buy also. Buyer beware at Target but Best is always great for electronics. Now I am stuck with a Ring doorbell that I can not use because of Target weak return policy. Will not shop for electronics at Target in the future. Will stick with Best Buy. read more

This store is not a safe location, they allow men to solicit and stare at women. I was in the store being followed and stared at by two very strange men who were not shopping, just aimlessly walking around. One of them had a cowboy hat and giant military backpack, other man was tall with hoodie. I notified the security who than told me "yes they come in here and do this often" "cowboy guy come with different men each time" and even admitted to feeling uncomfortable himself about them. why is no one kicking them out, they are not shoppers they are soliciting the store and area. I tried calling the store TEN times when i got home to try to reach a manager, called every department more than once and no one answered the phone. This should not be aloud and someone should be kicking these men out. Be safe out here people, always check your surroundings! read more

Recently I have picked up a second job as a shipt shopper. I go grocery shop for people and deliver them to your door. I come to target a lot and the people are very kind to help me with finding items or even checking their stock to see if they have it or if it's in another location. I did start doing it around the holidays so it was crazy hectic. But even now it's been like a normal shop. I like target cause not many people seem to go there besides the holiday. But they are never over crowded. The only complaint I do have, is they are constantly out of something. Whether it's a produce item, frozen item or pantry item. Came to this Target on Sunday September 1st and I wont be back. This target has been going down hill for a while now and this time is the final straw for my family and myself. For one, this Target is never clean and organized like it used to be. The stock is constantly strewn all about. The staff... we'll get to them. Came here for school supply shopping and to pick up a few items. Overall, the experience was okay. Mostly lackluster, but whatever. I've come to see that Target is no longer the place to go and waist time and money... Amazon is. So we are heading to self check out and there is one family ahead of us. My sister and I are sharing a basket, like we always do. As we are waiting in line a man standing at a make shift kiosk with bags and a hand scanner informs us that he will ring us up. Okay, that's fine. Thing is, there is no table to put our items which means he'll have to grab, scan, and bag himself. Fine by me. I'm really peeved that I didn't get his name. However, his remarks to my sister and myself were EXTREMELY off base. Asking her if she had enough tattoos- sarcastically and judgmentally, singing rap songs about booty shaking. It was a VERY uncomfortable experience for my entire family. Mind you we are all young women, ages 13 and 26. Out of curiosity I ask how long they've been checking out in such way, a very unconventional way and impractical if I must say. He says just the weekend since it's labor day weekend. Okay, fine. He continues with these off base outbursts that are now making me wish I'd drop my things and just leave. I say all of that to say this... this man said he was working time and a half with no break. I think Target needs to reevaluate their practices for the sake of their customers. I'd already let up on my shopping experiences in Target because of how dirty they have become, but now I'll just stop altogether. I went to this Target for years. Went a few days ago after hearing how they have all the common items like deodorant, laundry detergent, vitamins, etc locked up. I always try to avoid getting items that are locked up to avoid the hassle, however, I did have to get razor blades and deodorant. Having to wait in an aisle for 10-15 minutes with other customers that have been waiting for longer is insane. I'm aware that everytime someone motions the help button all employees gets a message on their work devices, so why are all the employees looking at customers waiting in aisles and walking by like nothing? Honestly for a multi billion dollar company locking stuff up isn't going to stop people from stealing let's be honest. It is just going to make customers more irritated while they wait for extensive amounts of minutes for a single item leaving them irritated as they walk out of the store. read more

They locked up the deodorant. Im not sure why out of everything this was locked up. There was probably around 6 of us waiting for an employee to come and open it. We finally saw someone and he just walked by and ignored us. If you value your time and need deodorant or anything in that isle go to Safeway.
