They always have majority of items stocked up! They are the perfect place to find almost anything you could want from snacks, to makeup to home goods! Anything! The prices are usually really good for almost anything you buy here. If you need help finding anything the staff will always check on you to make sure you are getting taken care of! While I understand the convenience of self check out when it's really busy within the store, I do not understand why the customer reps there wait behind the counter until all the customer self checkouts are full before they open up their register. Literally two cashiers were standing there, chatting away with each other like it was their primary job, while customers with 15 items or more are expected to self checkout, reach around the counter to grab their own bags, and bag their groceries. They waited until the two self-checkout slots were full to open up their register and was able to checkout a customer in half the time it took for me to bag up and pay for my items. Literally had a "register closed" sign while standing behind the register and talking with each other. So this is what they're getting paid for?

I've used the optical department for years and they have switched to a QR wait system, getting rid of the little paper slips. This makes walking around the store a bit easier and eliminates wondering if you heard the right number. They also recently did a 3-day price-match for me on tires so that saved me $90! This Costco also doesn't have as many shoppers on weekdays compared to other locations so it's convenient and easy.

It's free as long as it is way ahead of time. It was easy until I got there, couldn't find it coming from the west of Military street. I saw one sign but had no idea. Drove around, HEB gas station, HEB car wash, found it with the pharmacy drive up. It is adjacent but a separate drive way. This location is an accident waiting to happen. You have narrow pick up parking, one way drive in, no signs, and you are competing with the pharmacy drive through as well as ppl trying to beat the traffic off Goliad and driving past behind you. THEN when I pulled into the spot, I waited, and was not sure if I was to go get my cart that was ready or wait for someone to come. WHY? Because there was never details on the pick up and I saw numerous different people coming and going that looked like regular pedestrians. I kept waiting and watching, finally saw some staff wearing blue uniform tops, others looked like they were off the street and the car they approached was their personal car, yet turned out to be staff afterall. Finally saw someone that looked like they had my items pushing a cart. BTW you cannot see their station and where they are coming from, suddenly they appear in the lot. Not safe for them either! Friendly and the order was correct but not a pleasant experience. Think they should move this to the opposite side of the store where it is quiet Don't say I didnt warn you.

She gave me directions to find things that I needed & answered a few questions I had. Esmeralda, our cashier, was friendly & I really appreciated her being so patient. I forgot that I needed a # to check out & she was so nice. I ran quickly to get one & she didn't act irritated at all when I got back (It took less than a minute to sign in my name & grab a # fr the desk, but still). If you plan on shopping here & you don't have a tax ID # then make sure you get a number at the front door before checking out. When we first got there the line was soooo long! So, when it was time to check out we thought the line (that was still at least 10 carts long) would take a long time but it didn't! It was so fast! B
