They were extremely helpful and patient with me in helping to transfer my data from my defective phone onto a new one. Last time I'll ever go to target. I ordered online for pickup to avoid going in general. But then I had to get hassled by a woman named Danisha because I wasn't standing in the right area for pick up. All while my baby is crying and making me already frantic for standing there and waiting while she checked out the two people behind me first. Then when she finished she said did anyone scan your barcode yet? She should've known, i was standing right next to her ringing up these people that walked up after me. I felt like she was airport security or something. She was very aggressive with her customer service. Not friendly or welcoming at all. This place is a disaster!! Stopped at the pharmacy the tech was rude. Not hello how are you. Rang the stuff up set it on the counter and walked away. No have a good day, did you need a bag. Nothing! The app states things are in things in stock but when you get to the aisle there is nothing there. The shoe department is a nightmare. I've been going to this Target since I was in high school. I've always had a pretty good experience here. They almost always have a good supply of what I'm shopping for, prices are reasonable and the staff is pretty friendly overall. However, at this particular location, I have been told multiple times now by the cashiers that they do not accept manufacturer/vendor coupons. I understand not accepting coupons that customers bring from home or found at other stores but I found the coupons I wanted to use on products inside your store. If you don't accept manufacturer/vendor coupons, then why allow them to be placed on products you're selling? If you're not going to accept them, then please have your staff remove them before stocking your shelves. I don't want to pay full price and be teased with a coupon that I can't use. read more

This target continues to get worse and worse as the days go by. Used to be one of my favorites but the overall decline of this one makes it terrible to come to. I came in for a quick visit and parked on the side of the drive-up entrance as I was just getting a few food items and the food is right next to this entrance. Right away I noticed the self-check out was closed which is usual for places like these now. After I got my items and went to go pay by the main entrance, I walked back to the entrance I originally came in through. Granted, it was the same distance I would've walked if I exited through the main entrance but it was a hot day today and I wanted to be in the cool environment of the store as much as possible. As I approach the entrance by the food section, an employee tells me that that entrance/exit is now closed. The same entrance I had just used 10ish minutes ago to come in through. I asked if it was possible to just exit out this way this one time, especially because I didn't know they closed this door at a certain time during the day, which they should probably make a note of and post by those doors. The worker said it wasn't possible for me to go through since the doors were closed already. He said this as some lady was walking away from paying self check out (apparently it was open despite the signs saying it wasn't?) and walking out the doors. I didn't appreciate the attitude of the worker and didn't like that he was basically letting the other lady go through. Maybe they should just close up this entrance/exit if customers aren't even allowed to use it (well I guess CERTAIN customers are). What's the point of having an entrance/exit if it's not accessible? read more

I was in store around 4:30 Thursday afternoon. Went to the food section and when I went to the Coffee isle there was a small wagon parked at end of isle at the backside of area. The cart had a tightly packed bundle on top and on top of that was a Machete. The Machete blade was polished silver, about 18" long and add the handle and you have a good sized 24"+ long weapon. I examined the blade and the blade was sharpened. When I touched the blade, a distant voice was yelling to don't touch my stuff. The owner was at the milk area and quickly walked to his wagon. He was 6'2"-6'-4" tall, skinny homeless man wearing a bandana to conceal his face. I let him know it wasn't good that he had that Machete in plain view, etc. He quickly backed off and was apologetic so I didn't press the issue and there were no store personnel in that entire area. He proceeded to the back of the store and I walked to the kitchen ware area near main store entrance to intercept to make sure things weren't out of sorts. I saw him taking kitchen utensils off the wall, He now had another large tightly wrapped bundle full of store goods. The Machete was now bundled. I don't care about the homeless stealing . My issue was that the store allowed an obvious homeless man pulling a cart(which I really don't have an issue with), with a large Machete sitting in top of a tight bundle, readily accessible. Very obvious red flag that should have been addressed immediately by store security because of Machete. I saw that he had Machete exposed throughout most of his time in store. After I watched him exit the store pulling his cart load, I went to store personnel(several) to explain what had occurred. They abruptly told me it wasn't of any concern mine and basically just forget about it. I went to the security guard and told him and proceeded to leave from self checkout and saw what looked like a security supervisor. I had to go to him and then he asked for me to explain. Bottom line; sore security never identified a very tall homeless man with a mask to hide identity, pulling a cart with a large Machete sitting on top of cart which would be obvious to anyone on floor area and from a camera since it was non full display and silver contrast. Security had nothing to say but I let them know that they obviously dropped the ball and should be very embarrassed. They didn't dispute this. Store personnel reaction was almost rude and dismissive. As a side note; if the man had exhibited a certain behavior when I spoke with him I would have immediately called 911. But still why hadn't any employee or store security at least noticed a 6"-2" homeless ,man wearing a bandana to mask his face pulling a cart throughout the store with a Machete in plain view. read more

I love target. Coming from out of town and comparing it to my local store, this one is HUGE. If I didn't have someone keeping me on task I would've have gotten lost in the aisles. It was very organized, I found everything I needed quick and had a variety to chose from. read more

Came to Target to look for some Shopkins toys for my daughter. We found it but there were only a few to choose from. Small selection here. The store itself was organized and easy to find what your looking for. They have a grocery section here which is great. Lots of fresh fruit and frozen food. I also noticed a Starbucks in here. I was tempted to get a drink, but the line was long. I didn't like the parking situation here either. Be careful for all the crazy drivers here. People like to speed through a shopping center. Getting in and out of here is crazy. Come here early if you want parking and avoid the traffic of people trying to find parking. Place is crazy on a Saturday afternoon. read more

What in God's name is Target doing to this store? It was perfectly fine and then they go and close the Garden Center last year. That was where I always bought my Christmas trees and pony packs of flowers. Bummer. Then next they started closing off sections of the parking lot and dragging in all kinds of construction equipment and office trailers. Parking is bad enough around there already without all this other stuff added in. Soon enough it got real noisy there with the sound of jack-hammers and heavy equipment. Doesn't Target realize that we women need peace and quiet so that we can mindlessly shop and browse the over-packed clearance aisles? Now I am very sad to report that Target has had the temerity to actually change all up the interior of the store. I do not know if this is a temporary thing or not, but now the aisles where I buy my NYC cosmetics are cramped. Only one shopping cart can make it down that section at a time. People have to stop and let others get past before they can make their way along. NOT a good makeover for a retail store to give customers a cramped, constipated feeling when they are hoping these very same customers will open up their wallets and bleed out their money at the check stands. Still, this Target is great. They always have awesome maxi-dresses and great bathing suit selections. I know they are expanding to make themselves into a full-service Target-complete with fresh fruits and vegetables. Still, a little tear comes to my eye, when I see all the changes that are going on here. I miss the Garden Center, easy parking, quiet shopping, and spacious aisles big enough to accommodate two shopping carts at a time! Despite it all, I guess I am still a fan. read more

if this weren't so conveniently located to my house, I would make the trek and find a different target to go to instead. I continuously receive poor customer service, which is the exact opposite of what I receive at every other location. I typically love spending time at Target but I never look forward to coming to this one. Today's visit was particularly unenjoyable. I spent ten minutes searching for an employee to help me find an item. When I finally located one, the employee was helpful. During checkout, a different employee was extremely rude and unpleasant. Never even said hello, and then charged me multiple times for a few of my items. I began to question this, but the employee voiced her annoyance at me and rushed me to pay. I figured I would deal with the mistake later on, with a different, more pleasant employee. I don't necessarily look forward to this upcoming visit to fix their mistake, so may even go to a different location for my money back. read more

I like this location MUCH better than the one attached to the Mission Valley Mall if I am just hitting up Target. Less crowds and less darting through traffic clutching my purse to my side hoping against hope not to be mowed down by a distracted mall patron. (GET OFF YOUR PHONE AND DRIVE!) I like the one-floor layout of this store better as well, rather than going up and down the escalator in MV because I forgot something. Ample parking, friendly and helpful staff, a better layout, and overall a more relaxed shopping experience. I also like that its located in a shopping center with a Ross adjacent, so I can get more browsing accomplished without having to get back in the car. read more

Once again, I've run into an employee who doesn't know the answer to my question so she just makes up stuff instead of asking a coworker who might know. This time I went to the customer service counter. I noticed on my previous receipt it says that I should've received a 20% off coupon on my next purchase since I spent over a certain amount. I didn't receive that coupon. I showed the girl my receipt and she says, "oh, well we ran out of coupons so that is just if we have any left. But since it's the last day we don't. Know what I'm saying?" She seemed hesitant and as if she was just making up stuff because she really didn't know instead of just getting me the coupon I earned. I will be presenting it at the register since the coupon should be honored. If the employee shrugs it off and is not willing to help then you can have fun with all my go backs. read more

This Target has a little bit of everything for everyone. First of all, it offers the same great selection that every Target has, sprinkled with a fair amount of police enforcement to address the homeless population that has, for some reason, selected this location as their Mecca. The parking lot offers a significant amount of parking that I've never had a problem finding a spot in, except on that one Christmas Eve when everyone was losing their mind. The prices and assortment are standard fair. You can get everything here that you would at a normal Target - plus they have the add on of the Carryout Cafe and Optical center. This is definitely one of my go-to's for everything! read more

I love Target. This place, like Nordstrom and CVS, seems to suck my money out without me even realizing it. I love to meander through all aisles, finding things I don't really need. The layout is the same as all the Targets I have ever been to, which makes it easy to navigate. Thanks, Target. They have a pretty nice sized women's clothing area close to the entrance. So much for following COVID-19 protocol!! I went because my app stayed they had wipes in stock. No they did not. Decided since I was there to pick up items since I haven't been inside since March. While in an aisle a you g woman looked at me, then covered her mouth with her hands as she realized she entered without a mask. This was middle of store! No employee stopped her before this. Checking out, the self check out was much shorter and they were directing most people there. They don't wipe down any of the registers!!! I stopped and asked a manager about it, he said it was complained about as took too much time. Told me the offer sanitizer??! This is your typical Target. The parking lot is always full so I usually park in the back and walk. The staff is helpful and the check-out is pretty fast. My tip is to download their Target Cartwheel app and you can scan barcodes to see if there are extra discounts. This app is helpful and saves a few bucks. read more

This Target is a huge logistics mess. There is an obvious disconnect between employees and when items actually arrive. They tell you to call before hand to see if the items have arrived and constantly receive false information because they don't actually check. If you ask them to hold an item for you they say they can't. Something should be done about this to avoid future situations, especially with the holidays coming up. read more

Stopped in here yesterday to pick up a few items. The people working here seemed so much more helpful than in the Encinitas Target I usually use. There was a guy who said we could get the sale price, just by telling the cashier that he said we could have the sale price, and one or two other slightly-less memorable examples of above board helpfulness. Always long lines to check out. In there on a Saturday and only four check stands open. One was the very first one next to the self check-out which created a lot of confusion on what line was what and blocked people entering the store. Target used to be a cut above, but now it is worse than going to Walmart. read more

We spend a lot of time and money in this store. Probably too much of both, but it's super convenient for us. I was thrilled when they expanded the store to be a Super Target, complete with grocery. One less stop for us on the weekly shopping route!
