Just wanted to leave a review on the staff here. The service is outstanding each time I am here. Always friendly and outgoing. Some of the cashiers are quite funny and make me laugh on the way out. The service is the most important part of a business which keeps you coming back. This is it. One of the few locations I have went to that has a great selection on items and constantly restocking the shelves to keep up with the demands. Everything is always nicely labeled and you much you are spending each and every time. It's a great place for household needs and snacks. I get a lot of my decorations here too. I could feel the franticness of the employees and the chaos as soon as I entered. I knew it was going to be an interesting experience especially since I needed a ton of balloons to be blown up. Some customers were giving them a hard time. You can tell they were trying their best and they were sweet despite them showing signs of stress. I went and got some other items as I tried to avoid the long lines that were already building up at the cashier. I came back to only a bigger one. As I perused the aisles, it seemed a bit disorganized. Some shelves were full stocked, others barely anything on it, and a box or two just floating around all over the place. They must be underemployed or understaffed because it sure did feel like it. Kim, the manager was running back and forth. Shoutout to her for taking care of me while talking to her supervisor while voiding out transactions from her colleagues. I think because it is a pretty disorganized store, I wouldn't necessarily say it's the best place to shop but if you can have some patience / not in a rush to get any place, this spot is serviceable. read more

Service and selection is great. They have more items than the dollar tree by my house. Even better choices than another location that had. I also like that most of the staff are nice to my mom. Looked like someone threw up night before in front of the doors. Whole store dirty. Freezers were broke so they were empty. Lots of candy and seasonal things to decorate with. If you shop at Food 4 Less, the food prices are pretty much the same so really not getting any great bargains but it is what it is. I guess if you just wanna run and grab something it's OK but it was really dirty, and there were a lot of boxes on the floor floors. It was hard to get around. Today They had the majority of the items on my list. AND then some.. They didn't have a variety pack of single serving instant oatmeal. A nice swivel mic headset for $1.25 the price wasn't marked so I expected to pay 3 to 5 bucks for it. They weren't on today's list but were on my list of things to buy to replace damaged things. I go to this Dollar Tree to look for cute little gifts and balloons (and sometimes other things that I had no idea I would want until I am cruising the store). Today I needed balloons and was told that the helium was almost gone, luckily I had Annela helping me and she was able to fill 10 balloons (the amount I had asked for). This Dollar Tree is absolutely disgusting. While I was checking out, a huge live cockroach was crawling right next to me at the register. What made it even worse was that the employees acted like it was completely normal. Nobody seemed concerned, nobody did anything about it, and it genuinely felt like seeing cockroaches in the store is just an everyday occurrence.. The store is constantly dirty, poorly maintained, and almost always understocked. Half the aisles are empty, products are scattered everywhere, and it never looks like it's being properly cleaned. There are usually only one or two employees working, so service is painfully slow and the entire store feels neglected. Seeing a live cockroach crawling around a checkout area where customers are standing should be alarming to any business, but the lack of urgency from the staff was honestly just as disturbing as the cockroach itself. This location desperately needs new management, better staffing, and a serious deep cleaning. At this point, if the store isn't willing to maintain basic cleanliness standards, it should be shut down until it can read more

I just wanted to express my disappointment with an incident I witnessed at this store today. A young employee was publicly berated by an older lady, whom may have been a supervisor, not sure. This incident happened in front of customers and she was accompanied by another staff member near the checkout area. The supervisor lady loudly accused the cashier of something. Honestly, I was not able to gather what it was that she complaining about since she wasn't speaking clearly. At the same time, you could clearly see the cashier was just as alarmed as I was. I felt embarrassed for him. And to make things worse, there was also another staff member with her telling the cashier that he'd be "written up," for something else without allowing the cashier to explain himself. The cashier just remained for the most part quiet and tried to explain himself. But at the same time, you could tell how embarrassed he was with the whole ordeal. He seemed trapped trying to figure out a way to defend himself while checking out my items at the register. In my eyes public humiliation is never appropriate. This approach was unprofessional, disrespectful, and deeply uncomfortable for everyone present. If there's an issue with an employee, it should be addressed privately--not used as a spectacle. It damages morale and reflects poorly on the store's values. If there's any at this point. I would like to share some tips how management can handle things in the future : 1. **Discipline staff privately** to preserve dignity. 2. Train leaders on **respectful conflict resolution**. 3. Ensure employees can defend themselves before consequences. As a customer, i would really like to see a more respectful approach, specially when it comes to new hires. Somehow, to me, the gentleman seemed new since i have been coming to this location often and I've never seen him working here before. Tracy was amazing helping everyone as fast as she could. John should not be an assistant manager. Great selection, lots of stock, clean, and the lady who runs the register I've had multiple great interactions with, she has some tattoos that look to be cultural on her face, chin etc, and she wears lots of jewelry. We were in town and needed to get a few items. Yelp lead us to this Dollar Tree location. We arrived shortly after they open. To our surprise, this was a pretty large store compared to other locations. The aisles were full of boxes and employees working hard to fill the shelves. We found what we needed and wandered around checking out the rest of the store. If you haven't been to Dollar Tree, it's worth the trip. They sell home decor items, kitchen supplies, cleaning supplies, party supplies, toys, limited tools/hardware, greeting cards, and food. Overall, it's a decent store. Some items I would pass on. I always find cleaning supplies, helium balloons, greeting cards, gift bags, and some foodie items to be of value. Like anything else, know your prices!!! The manager, if she is actually the manager, Josie, is so miserable & has the worst customer service. I was doing instacart and on the phone with a customer as I was checking out. She told me that I couldn't be on the phone while I was checking out, which I explained to her that I was speaking with the customer I was helping. She told me she couldn't help me while I was on the phone. I hung up so that I could finish the transaction. She then double charged me (the customer) for multiple items which I had to explain to her that she scanned twice. Finally, she finalized the transaction without charging me for a bag & refused to give me one. She told me to get back in a different cashier's line. Of course they only have 2 lanes open at a time max so there were 10+ people in each line. As the manager she has no customer service and created a hostile environment for her customers. read more

I've been going to this dollar tree for many months and they have never once fixed the sliding door that is obnoxiously squeaky however, for the past few times that I've been going there has been no music and the atmosphere has been absolutely horrendous. This location is much larger than the one near my home. It has a much larger selection of party supplies, craft section is awesome and office supplies. I like coming here to pick up party supplies for my office for birthdays and other celebrations. Can't beat the price for party supplies like napkins and plates that will be tossed anyways. Wouldn't buy food here unless it's candy. Steer away from electronics and home goods like outlets or batteries. Medicine is also questionable. You'll run into some strange characters here. The customer service from the cashiers is amazing. My daughter who is 3 loves to shop and they always treat her like an adult and play along with her. As far as dollar stores go... there's not too much of note other than to marvel at the variety random, poorly-made stuff one can find at such a market. However, several things draw me in to this store: helium balloons, holiday decs, greetings cards, spare reading glasses and glow sticks for my kid's rave baths. Side note, I find the "pow" balloons, as I call them, to be fun trinkets for kids. They're foil-wrapped squares of uninflated balloons that one must place on a hard surface and then POW! smack em with a fist and watch them inflate. Sometimes they need an assist but they're fun nevertheless. I digress. I've found almost every one of the staff here to be friendly and customer-service oriented. They make stopping by this store to be an enjoyable experience (especially during their school supply drive!). read more

I randomly stopped by here to grab a bunch of Christmas gift boxes, which I immediately found in the front. They had tons of them lined up in one aisle. There are two sizes to choose from. The smaller size comes with three boxes and the larger size comes with two boxes. Each box has a different design on them. Some are cute, some are okay. But you can't ever expect too much from a dollar store! But they do the job good. I didn't walk around to look at other things because I was in a rush, but I can tell that they are well stocked on all the basic items you may be searching for. It wasn't too crowded or too busy either. It seems more emptier than other locations. But overall, they could make it brighter inside. Looks very gloomy and sad. I can't believe the level of stupidity I just received from someone on the phone who treated me like I was an idiot. For asking a simple question. Which they turned down my business. I asked if I could buy a balloon and instead of them filling that one up If they'd fill up one balloon I bring with me. Same size. One freaking balloon. Come on. Can't I buy one of their balloons and instead of them putting helium in it, they can put it in one I bring in of the same size. So you keep your balloons and your helium. I won't be sending any one to this store. Big loss on dollar trees end. We used to shop here a lot for our party needs. Better luck hiring better employees with respect. This was my first visit to Dollar Tree. Staff was very friendly and they did have some great buys on cleaning products. The back of the store was very messy. Party area looked like there had been a big party on site. In fairness they may have had some rude customers. All in all it was an interesting store and I would go back to check for deals. Of note. I've been going to dollar tree my whole life and have never felt the need to post a review but this location has completely fallen apart, the isles are not being taken care of. Trying to dig through the craft aisle it's like trying to dig through bins at a Goodwill outlet store... just piles of stuff thrown around. It's like nobody is taking care of the store. Wow, seeing all the other reviews, this place seems to be held in high regards. Which is good, it's what we want to see! My visit was fairly short, mostly coming in to get some last minute gift supplies. Dollar tree ALWAYS has great birthday bags, in all sizes from tiny ones to really big ones. And I always like the designs here better than at Wal Mart, as well as the prices are better. You just can't beat a dollar haha. I came in 15 minutes before close so the store was empty. I like stopping here for the little random items when I'm in the area or grabbing things on the fly. The staff are all really nice and that's a huge plus. Very helpful as well and they enjoy having conversations with the customers. My only compliant are the long lines. I've had to stop here a few times on lunch break and I feel the hiring manger should start hiring more people to work here to avoid the long wait in one single line. It's not the cashiers fault they just need more help running the register. Seems chaotic for the manager to expect them to stock and run register at the same time running back and forth. I came here on a Friday or Saturday night and grabbed a few things I needed. I grabbed them, but I did not purchase them. Why? Because I stood in line for a good 5 to 10 minutes and realized that the line hadn't moved. There was ONE checkstand open, everyone in front of me had like 40 items, and I guess speed is not their employees strong suit. I get it, it's a dollar store, you're not going to have the greatest checkout experience. But this one was just bad. Mental note: pick a different location next time. Just went there (4/18/17, 4:30pm) to buy some things. Had the first experience of discrimination based on race!!. The woman at the cash register (in her 50s, wearing a head cover), was super pleasant to 2 other customers in front of me (who were similar race then she was), she was saying hi and was being very friendly to them. When my turn came she completely ignored me didnt even say hi. I said hi once, no response, I said good afternoon the second time. Then she finally acknowledged my presence. But still kept an attitude. The only thing that was different was my race, this woman is a racist. She should be fired, nobody should be treated by the color of their skin!!!!!!
