So on a whim we dropped into Main Street Trader, very much an old-school Vancouver establishment, not expecting to find anything that fit our modern aesthetic. Promises to "have somebody call you" have been made but not kept, after telling my MIL that they couldn't even find record of the sale. Kind of hard to believe, especially because this dresser is one of their "specialty pieces" and very unique (she showed them pictures). So disheartening. We fixed the dresser ourselves, after waiting a month for them to make things right. I will likely never buy anything from them again and hope my new sectional lasts longer than the dresser did.
