Honestly this is a long overdue review for Tari Electrical. Moises and his son are a dynamic duo. I've had so many electrical issues with my condo but they helped resolved literally EVERYTHING. Moises and his crew are great! I had a bunch of miscellaneous electrical home improvement projects spanning the replacement of two bathroom fans, kitchen under and above cabinet lighting, and the swapping of various switches throughout the house. The crew were pretty flexible around scheduling around my constraints. They're also pretty responsive to text and email. At one point, I wasn't sure of where the location of the LED strip above the cabinets should be (that is, towards the back or the front or the middle). After they installed the above cabinet lighting, I didn't like the shadow cast from the cabinets onto the ceiling. I asked if they could fix that, and they happily obliged and moved the LED strips, which now give a soft glow on the ceiling. Requested service again from Tari for a problem which was pretty tough to figure. A dull/subtle burning smell was coming from washer/dryer socket but I couldn't figure why/how. Even had a trip from fire department and we assumed it was due to EV charger. However, that was not the case and requested Tari to visit again and he discovered a lose wire within washer/dryer socket which was causing this burning smell along with heating up of the wall as well. He was able to quickly fix/rectify the situation and the problem was/is solved. While this was done almost 1 month ago in May, I wanted to wait for 3-4 weeks to ensure the problem was not recurring and truly fixed before posting this update. After several non- responses or wait times past 4 weeks from 3 businesses, I saw Tari's truck parked outside the Panera and talked with Moises and Donovan about my small project. They provided a quote the next day and finished the job 2 days later. They installed 5 outlets, a new switch, safely installed the wire in the studs and removed at least three layers of tile, Sheetrock and cement. Tari Electric was recommended to us by our kitchen remodel designer. She said TE is great and she was spot on! The work that Tari did for us included: 1) Hanging (and centering) a new chandelier from a vaulted ceiling in our kitchen nook 2) Upgrading all the switches (new Lutron design) and outlets in the house, including installation of Google Assistant-ready dimmers and switches. We upgraded a fair number of outlets to ones with built-in USB plugs. Also, where needed, Tari installed GFC outlets. Our house is ~30 years old and the hardware is all the original the builders had put in. 3) New lighting fixtures, switches and outlets, including running new lines where outlets didn't previously exist (for a second fridge and new treadmill) 4) A new specialty light fixture, in the formal living room, to illuminate a painting over the fireplace. 5) Upgraded the bulbs on another (existing) crystal chandelier to LED. This chandelier is in the formal living room with over a 100 small thin (church candle) like glass pieces. The bulbs are behind the glass pieces :-o I watched the team gingerly and carefully, replace the dozen bulbs while protecting the glass 5) Last but not least, upgraded the outlet in the backyard to a weather-proof one! Moises and team were knowledgable, prompt, and meticulous. They tirelessly worked with me to make sure all the i's were dotted and t's crossed so to speak: Perfectly aligning the new (screw less) faceplates. Picking-up all the parts and returning extras. Coming prepared with all the tools needed for the job - including ladders for installing and hanging a heavy chandelier from the 20 ft vaulted ceiling. Researching, locating, and procuring the specialty parts for centering the chandelier (recessed and flush bracket kit). As well as the fixture for the painting, mentioned earlier. I particularly appreciated the design ideas for the fixtures in the garage and the painting that Moises would suggest. They were contemporary, efficient, and worked well with the remodel we did. We were super-happy with the work Tari did. Last and not least, their accounting (billing/invoicing) is all electronic and also super efficient. We plan to work with Tari again, when we remodel our 3 bathrooms. I've also recommended Tari to my middle Son, for some electrical work on his first HOME (condo he recently bought in Oakland). I had two issues, a kitchen light out because of a shorted wire and a bathroom light out due to a TouchPlate System (1950's low voltage central switching system) problem. New and previously used electricians were unavailable for weeks and somewhat uninterested in the relatively small jobs. Luckily Moises was recommended by another (masonry) contractor and was able to come the next day after calling. He proposed and completed a safe straightforward repair to the shorted wire and replaced a failed relay in the TouchPlate control panel. He and his assistant protected the hardwood floor and vacuumed the debris and dust as they worked. They were professional, skilled, timely and reasonably priced.
